End of year art dump, part 2!! Everything from January to yesterday. xP All of this is Let It Flow AU stuff, read more for descriptions, context and credits!
1-2) Audrey Grace and the friends she made during her first recon mission to Vileville! From left to right: the Cashtea-ler ( @ampreh ), Théodore Wijins, La Rouquine ( @nalak-bel ), and Wesley the glowing boy ( @ampreh ). The last three are Cashtie’s henchmen who all want him dead. 💀
3-4) Cashtea-ler vs deoncelerized Cashtie (aka Cashtiel)
5) Audrey’s outfit for her 2nd recon mission to Vileville. >:D I really wanted to draw her in black just so she could be a little more stealth and a little more goth. Black Lady from Sailor Moon was my inspo!
6) A sketch page of OCs belonging to people from an rp server I’m in. From left to right, top to bottom, they are: Hugo (@butterscorner), Norma ( @crazypotatofan ), Nathan ( @nalak-bel ), Bean ( @lemonine ), Émilien ( @blackcatangel ), Wesley ( @ampreh ), Audrey (mine lol), Bét ( @bethanygabrielleart ), Théodore (belongs to my friend Alink, no tumblr)
7) RP art from a scene with @rafatello ‘s OC, Joan!! xD He pickpocketed the wrong tourist 🔪 (I love Joan he’s great kshfgjk)

The Lorax spanish dub ⋆ fun facts(?) ⋆
═════════════════════
┈─ Hello! This post is completely different from my other posts, but I wanted to share this since it's like 6am, and it seems like I can't draw anything good lately. 🤷 So I need a distraction.
Tricky title, this is just other roles their actors and actresses have done.
I had to say, the images here don't belong to me. Credits to their original creators.
﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
1.- Ted - Alfonso Herrera.
﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
2.- The Once-ler - Arturo Mercado (Jr.)
✦ A fun fact here: Old Once-ler is voiced by Arturo Mercado, and young Once-ler is voiced by Arturo Mercado Jr. They're father and son.
﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
3.- Audrey - Sandra Echeverría.
✦ These obviously aren't all the characters she has done. I didn't find any image of her characters, so I had to take a screenshot from the wiki. 🤕
﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
4.- Grammy Norma - María Santander.
﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
5.- Once-ler's mom - Patricia Palestino.
﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
6.- O'Hare - Axel Kuschevatzky.
✦ He doesn't have a lot of characters. But they're all villains!! That's interesting, ig(??
﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
𖦹Extra 1
✦ Danny Devito voices The Lorax in spanish too! Also, other languages as well.
𖦹Extra 2.- Brett - Pablo Sosa.
✦ The most disturbing fact I found... 💔 /hj

As promised! There aren't many since I was busy but here are Audrey Grace's drawings.
1-It's the drawing of short hair that I had done before
2-It's a drawing I made in a dynamic with some friends
3- The last and my favorite, my Oc Jonathan Miller (ler) but in his version as a child, Audrey Grace found him in the forest all scared and dirty
I don't know if you like them, I made them quickly due to lack of time, but I hope you like them \(๑╹◡╹๑)ノ✨💕 (@miru667 )

Any facts/concepts about your 72au? I loved the recent post with Ted and Onceler haha
Hi dear anonymous!! Sure I'll be glad to share what the hell is 72Au (The Magical seed) -Don't mind the name pls-
As you wonder, the story remains almost exactly as the original, Once-ler being rich, destroy Truffula Valley, etc, etc. Except for some differences.
1.- Differences from 1972 animation
Ted, Audrey, O'hare, Ted's Mom are here to play one roll in the story.
This universe has different locations with Time-Space warped. This allows Mr. onceler travel to different Aus and special events (camp WH, Ski, etc.)
Lorax here is human and an ancestral creature that has been existing since time is time. Sadly, he doesn't have powers, with the exception of his connection with the Magical Truffula seed and, he can understand animals and plants)
Exist a magical seed that is the last stand for the valley in case of massive destruction, but you may be careful because it has more secrets than you think.
I want to explore a little more of Onceler's duality and his relationship with Ted as his "successor" as well as his friendship-rivalry with the lorax. 2.- Two parts
The story will be told in two parts: Before disaster, After disaster. In this story, Ted's and Once-ler 's paths cross and they have to work together.
I will not tell the story that every fan knows, maybe just little mentions or if the plot requires it.
Also, there's not the Once-ler and Greed phase. 72ler is greed/Onceler all the time, so he isn't a separate character. Right now, I'm doing the intro of the Au, it's just school and real life stuff gets me busy, so I'm working slowly, just be patient.

WHY DID YOU DELETE AU WITH METHCOOK-LER??? WHAT??? I LOVE HIM 😭😭😭 I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT HIM
for numerous reasons! which could easily be bogged down to mental health reasons so uhhh essentially
1) Onceler fandom just has not been good for my mental health at fucking all, I think it's pretty telling since I've been trying to dissociate myself from the fandon in small ways (although I guess I'm still in it?)(not in the fandom or left it, just a secret third thing)
like I'll still reblog some Onceler stuff, draw Onceler stuff (just the OCs I don't care about Canon Oncie and hate the original movie), keep up with shit like Trufflu and Weehawken etc. but yeah I just don't really consider myself to be a Onceling at all anymore
2) I felt bogged down and chained up when trying to write for him since he's a Onceler?? IDK I just felt like I didn't have the complete creative freedom I want + need for OCs so he's getting deoncelerized and becoming a regular ass OC (already even has a new design)
everything is also just outdated and not relevant to his new lore
3) got too popular... kinda stupid reason probably but 500+ followers for an OC ask blog is fucking terrifying and I'm not really sure how to explain why it sucks so much fucking balls in my POV, having 80+ asks in your inbox at all times is just exhausting man
-------
as for the future of my OC, like I said he's becoming a regular ass OC no longer connected to the Lorax in anyway, no longer will be referred to as Methcook-ler or even using names like Ted, Audrey, or O'hare etc.
if it makes you feel any better I'm restarting a new blog for him but again he is no longer a Onceler or even connected to Breaking Bad

E ri. Perguntei porquê? Ele disse você tem cara de rica. Eu chegando no carro ao lado do apontado. E ele narrando o meu. E ri. Claro portas fechadas e travadas.
Acelerei a reação.

Psycho Analysis is a series that looks at villains across various media in the hopes of coming to something of a consensus on the overall quality of the character. Are they performed well? Do they enrich the narrative? Are their motives fleshed out? Are they voiced by Tim Curry and thus a sex icon?
There are a lot of important questions that I look into, but ultimately, Psycho Analysis boils down to asking one simple little question: How bad can a character be?
Thankfully, there’s one villain who decided to answer that question for me... in song form.
Psycho Analysis: The Once-ler
(WARNING! This analysis contains SPOILERS!)
Yeah, I’m finally talking about everyone’s favorite greedy bastard who, back in some of the darkest days of Tumblr history, ended up being the premier sexyman on the website. People were thirsting over this twiggy weirdo, acting as if he were God’s gift to women and shipping him with alternate versions of himself. Much like the movie he’s from, he is now incredibly hard to take seriously.
But hey, speaking of alternate versions of himself, I’m going to be covering him from the original book and the animated short film as well. Might as well just knock it all out of the park at once, right? Now let’s see how ba-a-a-ad this guy can be.
Motivation/Goals: The Once-ler is all about biggering. He’s making thneeds (things that everyone needs) and he is gonna stop at nothing to craft these things. Not even the power of the Lorax, Danny DeVito or otherwise, is going to stay his hand from getting that sweet, soft Truffula fluff to make his wares. This is ultimately a little unrealistic, at least for the Illumination version; if Danny DeVito asked me not to do something, I’d listen, no questions asked.
Performance: In the animated special, Bob Holt does double duty, as he is portraying both Once-ler and the title character. It works really well for what they’re going for, and the double casting is interesting because it highlights the ultimate role of the Lorax as the Once-ler’s conscience given form.
In the film, Ed Helms portrays the Once-ler, and he’s fine. He’s certainly better casting than Audrey, but that’s not particularly saying much considering that’s a non-singing Taylor Swift (when Cats is able to utilize Taylor Swift better than your musical, you know there’s trouble). I don’t know, Ed Helms is fun and all, but I’m just not sure his take on the Once-ler is all too compelling overall.
Final Fate: In the original book and the special, the Once-ler wins… but even he realizes it’s a terrible, pointless victory, and all he has achieved is ruin, his family leaving him, his business ultimately collapsing, and the environment permanently damaged. He’s left as a miserable, jaded hermit, broken by the bleak consequences his greedy actions have sown upon the world and only able to tell his story and pass on the last Truffula seed in the hopes that maybe, maybe someday the trees can regrow and the Lorax will return. The Illumination version follows this but then tacks on a happy ending where the Lorax and Once-ler reunite because as we know ambiguity and bittersweet endings cannot exist in children’s films.
Best Scene: Obviously it’s the scene where he shakes his ass to seduce Jack Frost, in one of the greatest gay romances ever put to film.
Joking aside, it is undoubtedly his villain song. It has become such a meme, but real talk? “How Bad Can I Be” slaps. This is a really good song, probably too good for the movie but you know what, I’ll take it.
youtube
Best Quote: HOW BA-A-A-AD CAN I BE? Yes, I’m using a line from his villain song. Sue me.
Final Thoughts & Score: What can one really say about the movie version of the Once-ler that hasn’t already been run into the ground? Well, how about… He’s not too bad, honestly? Like, yes, he has next to nothing to do with his book counterpart and they really go way too far into trying to make a capitalist pig sympathetic… but the animated special from the 70s did that too. I think the Once-ler honestly works better when there is a dash of complexity to him and he isn’t just a simple-minded Captain Planet villain.
Of course, the issue here is that the 70s version took a simpler approach, kind of less is more. The 70s Once-ler brings up some valid points to the Lorax about his work, and the Lorax can’t help but agree that there’s no easy answer while also stressing that the environmental devastation is still really, really bad. It works, it feels complex, and it arguably helps the ultimate point that we need to protect the environment better than even the book did (and I love the book, don’t get me wrong, but its take on the Once-ler is a bit too simple for its own good; it almost runs into the Femme Fatale problem by being a bit too much of a strawman). The movie version has a bit too much going on, especially with his family. His family are much more blatantly evil, greedy, and manipulative, but they’re relegated to the background for much of the film and don’t effect things all that much. The whole narrative would have been infinitely stronger if they were the greater scope villains behind Once-ler and were who needed to be defeated and maybe taught a lesson, but instead they are ignored in favor of someone I’ll address very shortly.
All of this leaves movie Once-ler feeling extremely disjointed, but not irredeemably so. As I said before, his villain song is unironically awesome, and as lame as it is compared to the more haunting, contemplative ending of the book and the special, I’m not so much of a curmudgeon that I didn’t at least smile when he finally reconciled with the Lorax. Ultimately though, him being memed to death really didn’t help his case, but it means I’m not giving the movie version anything less than a 3/10. He might in fact be the best “so bad it’s good” villain ever, or at least up there. He’s just so undeniably enjoyable even if the narrative isn’t making him as complex as it thinks it is. The animated special version gets a 9/10, the book version is a 7/10, and the Once-ler’s family gets a 5/10 for being an interesting concept they sadly do little with, which will now be elaborated on as I follow up on the foreshadowing from the last paragraph...
Psycho Analysis: Aloysius O’Hare
Remember how I said the Once-ler’s family gets ignored in favor of someone else? Here he is, Aloysius O’Hare, one of the absolute lamest villains ever put to screen.
Motivation/Goals: He’s greedy. That’s it. I’m not kidding. He’s just a cartoonish caricature of a rich person, which still makes him a realistic portayal but also makes him boring as sin compared to the wacky dude with a big musical number about how bad he can be.
Performance: Rob Riggle does a decent job, but there’s really not much for him to work with here. This character is a cardboard cutout who exists to be as cartoonishly greedy and evil as possible with no nuance so the kids know who to root against and so that Once-ler doesn’t look bad in comparison.
Final Fate: Look, he’s a blatantly evil corporate villain in a kid’s movie about the environment. Of course he gets defeated and everyone turns on him. What’s especially funny though is that, on the brink of learning his lesson, he rejects any form of redemption and just goes whole hog on being a villain.
Best Scene: I will absolutely give him this: in the face of his ultimate defeat, after having the virtues of trees sung to him and the entire town turning on him, he for a moment contemplates turning over a new leaf… and then absolutely rejects the thought and instead decides being evil is just too much fun, at which point he tries to get everyone back on his side by seeing a funny little song about death while wavedashing. If more shitty villains did this, I don’t think there would be shitty villains.
Best Quote: LET IT DIE, LET IT DIE, LET IT SHRIVEL UP AND DIE! Yes I’m quoting a song again.
Final Thoughts & Score: Look, I’m not gonna mine words here: O’Hare sucks. Big time. He is a prime example of why The Lorax failed as an adaptation. In a story that is dealing with a moral grayness with no easy answers, O’Hare is just a big, blatant target, a dark shade of black in terms of black-and-white morality. He’s like a reject Captain Planet villain with Edna Mode’s haircut.
The movie would have been infinitely better if, instead of him, the Once-ler’s family were in control of the town, and they needed to learn the lesson about saving the trees instead of simply vanishing from the story. They were shown to be overbearing, manipulative, and greedy, and they had a much more personal connection with Once-ler being, you know, his actual family. The fact they abandon him and never really get any sort of comeuppance despite being perhaps the most evil people in the move, egging on Once-ler and taking full advantage of him, makes O’Hare all the more egregious, because there could have been some strong thematic elements that would have tied the film together and made it come off as much less preachy and more nuanced.
But we don’t live in a world where that happened, we live in a world where we got O’Hare. Aside from some genuine hilarity from him at the end, O’Hare really adds very little to the film. I gotta give him a 2/10, but I will say he’s a lot closer to a 3 than he is to a 1; there’s no denying his absolute rejection of learning a moral is absolutely hilarious. I love when villains do that. It’s just a shame those funny moments are wrapped up in something monumentally unimpressive.

OKAY, so I finished the Lorax movie and this is gonna get a little rambley so here are some random thoughts:
Audrey could’ve been such a good character instead of just filler charatcer, I thought she was put there for more merchandise ideas but apparently she has no merchandise?? So she is quite literally just filler character??? _| ̄|○
I want the Lorax to throw hands so bad, like, please get mad sir, I know you wanna be a good friend or father or whatever it is people view you as, but please- Throw hands with someone. Tell the Once-ler his mistakes like in-clear-front, break him down and tell him that he can fix and needs to fix everything.
Music is wonderful, I’ll give you that it’s wonderful holy moly
Once-ler’s character arc only lasts 3 minutes, not even 10, just 3 minutes… sadge
If Ted was originally supposed to be Once-ler’s parallel, then Audrey could’ve been the parallel to the Lorax, O’Hare coulda been the parallel to Isabella (Once-ler’s Mom)
If Ted was supposed to go from materialistic to generous, imagine if Audrey went from complacent to genuine.
Instead of the filler between Day 1 & Day 2 being Ted’s dream-sequence, what if Audrey tagged Ted along as a sidekick and they would both argue about the Once-ler’s morals.
What if Audrey was just as bad as Ted & the Once-ler, Triple character arc >:O!
Like Ted in the original demo just wants the tree to show off as a cool thing to other people, what if Audrey wanted the tree for her own complacent ego. Like she thinks she’s somehow above everyone else cause she’s such a right-knowing angel who could do no wrong~
What if O’Hare wasn’t a jerk, but just wanted to fix the world and ended up accidentally repeating the Once-ler’s mistakes. But because he’s already gone so deep into his mistake he doesn’t really have the motivation to change himself, so he keeps people & himself from seeing the outside world because it reminds him of his failures & the Once-ler’s failures. Also maybe keep him a little bit like a jerk… Not everyone can be poor babies you’ve suffered so much, they’re still grown people.
I love the small detail where they cut the Once-ler’s face in the billboard and leave him looking like his original Book Form. Face-less, green-gloved, greedy.
During the Tree Funeral the melody used for the music is very similar to Let it Grow’s melody, during the Seed Chase scene the melody is similar to the Thneedville theme song.
‘She’s not some girl, she’s a woman, she’s in highschool’ TED BUDDY I DON’T THINK THAT’S HOW YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO WORD IT- (´༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ`)
Fun movie, could’ve been better

End of year art dump, part one! I've been hoarding art all year since January oops 😭 Read more for descriptions and context!!
1) Audrey Grace bought a new winter coat for herself! It's the first time she bought a piece of clothing at a real store instead of stealing stuff from abandoned malls in the apocalypse. She wanted to look cute...🥺👉👈 I drew this for a date RP (see below)
2-3) Panels for an RP with @ampreh !! Her Cashtea-ler (@the-cashtealer) and my Audrey went on a date and Audrey is taking pictures for the both of them. In this scene Audrey wanted to watch the sunset but Cashtie didn't want her to be cold or hungry so they managed to snag this top floor window booth at a sushi restaurant.
4) This was the first time Audrey saw Cashtie laugh genuinely so she quickly sneaked this photo. 🤭 And then he told her not to show this pic to anyone so she set it as her homescreen wallpaper lmao. Designs for the apron and kitchen come from here: [link]
5) Another photo in Audrey's phone. This is a closeup of a truffula mural she painted in her Greenville.
6) Death God Miru disguising herself as a lunch lady...I drew this because the Onceler Zine mod asked us all to draw our oncelersonas haha! Featuring that one fat hummingfish from the movie.

Semana passada, vocês compartilharam bastante o vídeo “leveza”, do Greg News.
1. Eu tô conhecendo todos os discos da Gal (nunca é tarde). Ouço um por dia. Quando terminar, vou ouvir todos os discos do Gil. Quando terminar, escutarei todos os discos da Bethânia. E vou passar o Caetano porque já conheço os discos dele muito bem, vocês sabem que sou uma enciclopédia das canções do meu conterrâneo favorito. Vez ou outra também assisto lives dos artistas que gosto (já foram três só do Zeca Baleiro, porque “Bandeira”, afinal, é tudo que a gente precisa escutar com atenção agora) e shows antigos, sucessos que o tempo não apagou, um flashback mais sem-vergonha que o outro;
2. Gregório, também revejo as entrevistas do Jô Soares, melhor programa que já tivemos na televisão brasileira, tanta gente que admiro e conheci por causa dessas conversas, estou falando de você mesmo Rogério Skylab. Ariano Suassuna, pessoa que teve a melhor forma de expressar sabedoria, é um afago ouvir suas sínteses e críticas;
3. Meu tempo de leitura está dividido entre “livros sobre o fim do mundo” e meus romances favoritos. Estou na primeira categoria. Fiz dívida na Amazon sim, porque também cansei da ideia de “não vou comprar livros para não me firmar em São Paulo e depois ter que transportar uma biblioteca”, que ideia idiota;
4. Por falar em literatura, parte do meu trabalho em home office é bastante automática, o que também é sinônimo de “chata”, porque não sou burocrática, sou criativa. É nesse momento que ouço algum episódio do Litterae, podcast da Anita Deak e do Paulo Salvetti: para escritores, para leitores e principalmente para quem se encontra nesse meio-termo de “quero-escrever-mas-não-consigo” (oi meninas, turupom?). Não quero culpá-los pelo aumento da minha dívida com a Amazon, mas é isso aí, as sugestões literárias são tão boas que está acontecendo. Mais do que ler livros, gosto de ler, ouvir e conversar sobre livros. O Litterae conta com temas específicos e convidados especiais. Meu episódio favorito até agora foi o “Palavra: modos de usar” e recomendo esse se você começar a ouvir o Litterae. Tem um depoimento lindo da Mariana Salomão Carrara sobre a sua relação com as palavras, desde a infância; depois o Paulo cita trechos de canções que também são meus trechos favoritos em canções, tipo “os escafandristas virão”, porque a minha relação com a literatura é, antes de tudo, uma relação musical; e termina com a Anita lendo um trecho do seu novo livro;
5. Outro podcast que estou gostando, até mesmo pela naturalidade, pela não-necessidade de ter um roteiro tão “certinho”e por ter essa cara de conversa franca é o Rizzenhas, da Taize Odelli. Se você acompanha literatura pela internet, com certeza já ouviu falar da Taize, leu alguma de suas resenhas. Acompanho essa moça há anos. Não é um podcast de resenhas, mas é sobre mercado editorial, relação do leitor com o autor (e vice-versa), festas literárias, romances de entretenimento, etc. É sobre tudo (e mais um pouco) que envolve literatura. Esses dois podcasts estão disponíveis no Spotify e se você ama ler, vai se identificar muito;
6. Estou bebendo cerveja, todas as noites;
7. Tô lendo sobre sonhos e viagens no tempo. Isso inclui tudo que eu possa encontrar sobre: de textos acadêmicos a creepypastas em grupos secretos de Facebook nos quais você não pode reagir com “haha”. Deus abençoe o Alexey Dodsworth Magnavita, que é uma das melhores pessoas que leio, não apenas por ele ser absurdamente inteligente, mas também por não temer qualquer assunto obscuro ou “facilmente invalidado” por intelectuais - eu fui lá no inbox, com medo de incomodá-lo, pedir recomendações de leitura e ele foi um doce. Há questões mais urgentes no mundo pedindo comprovação científica, isso não é tão urgente assim e pode ser divertido conhecer;

The Lorax (2012)
Not since M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender have we been betrayed like we are by The Lorax. It incorporates all individual elements of the original source material and completely misses the point. I didn't leave angry. I felt exhausted and depressed.
Ted Wiggins (Zack Effron) is a 12-year-old boy living in Thneedville, a city in which no plants grow and everything is made of plastic, glass or metal. When he learns that his crush, Audrey (Taylor Swift) wishes to see a real tree, he leaves the city to talk to the Once-ler (Ed Helms), who knows where they've all gone. Meanwhile, the evil, greedy ruler of Thneedville, Aloysius O’Hare (Rob Riggle) begins worrying the history lesson will destroy his profitable bottled oxygen company.
It all begins because of a teenager's crush for a girl who likes trees but is too dumb to find out what happened to them. She's just one of many insufferable characters which include the rockin’, wise-cracking grandma (Betty White), the awkward-because-she’s-trying-to-be-hip mom (Jenny Slate). They add nothing to the story except obvious, bad jokes. Then we’ve got the most 2-dimensional, cartoonish, evil industrialist I’ve ever seen. You can tell this movie is as far removed from reality as possible, which nullifies the environmental message. No one watching this 2012 version of “The Lorax” could possibly be motivated to change or re-evaluate their behavior because no one could associate themselves with these characters.
Instead of a faceless, greedy business owner that did wrong things for the right reason, the Once-ler is now a singing, hat-wearing, easily manipulated pretty-boy. The bulk of the narrative is focussed on him - as if it’s trying to make you forget the dystopia in which Ted lives is a result of his actions (seriously, if there are no plants, what do the people eat? Soylent Green? cockroach cubes?).
What about the titular Lorax? Voiced by Danny De Vito, he's reduced to a funny little hairball meant to misunderstand modern technology while sometimes discussing how important trees are and is buried beneath the minion-like humming fishes and musical numbers.
This film plays like a Bizarro-world version of the 1972 animated short. The former was short and aside from a couple of unmemorable songs, stuck extremely close to the source material. This movie pads the story out so much the is nowhere to be seen and features are genuinely catchy songs. In the first film, the villain was the Once-ler, a character who acknowledged he might be doing something wrong, but even when debating with himself the need for moderation, constantly found legitimate reasons for continuing to exploit the environment by selling a useful product. The villain in this movie sells a product so ludicrous and useless no one would buy it, freely admits to being a villain and proves it continuously. Arguments against it are boiled down to simple black-and-white points as subtle as circular saws to the forearm. Down to the ending, it's a series of knives in your back.
There are only two things to be admired in 2012's The Lorax. First, the animation. Second, the songs. For all of the reasons listed and more, this is an atrocity. Obviously, I hated it. What I find even more loathsome is that because the film is technically well made, many will not realize what a disservice it is doing to those watching and call it good. (On Blu-ray, December 13, 2014)

Experience Inside Mindscape:
-Three weeks after Audrey and Logan begin bonding, Cotton is brought into the mind space.
-Patton asks Roman for his own tickle companion, and Roman agrees. They venture into his world together to find Patton’s tickle plant.
-Cotton sees Patton for the first time and lights up. He begins to act like the pupper he is, and Patton falls in love with him instantly.
-Cotton was so excited much like a dog would be, but instead of licking his new owner, he was tickling his owner, and actually Roman too. The two sides had much difficulty getting Cotton into Patton’s room because 1) laughter and 2) Cotton was already a big boy. Sure Roman’s magic helped some, but apparently not enough.
Angst:
-One time Cotton went too far when tickling Patton. He didn’t know Patton had enough, and thought that Patton’s laughter wasn’t out of pain or panic.
-Patton had to wrestle out of his grip and leave the room.
-Because Patton didn’t correctly portray his emotions to Cotton, the plant began to worry that he did something wrong. Especially when Patton didn’t talk to him after the incident.
-A couple days later, when he began to punish himself by feeling hungry, Patton approached him and told him what had happened.
-Cotton trilled an apology and the two went back to normal after that.
Logan
-Loves to see Logan smile.
-He loves getting at Logan’s belly and ribs with his head and Logan ALWAYS has to be wary when around the plant.
-Regardless of the cuddliness of the plant, Logan doesn’t mind his tickly nibbles.
Roman
-Cotton doesn’t have much a vendetta against Roman as the other plants, but he definitely loves his feet and ribs.
Patton
-Cotton’s favorite spot on Patton is his belly. He makes teasy little growls when nibbling there.
-Cotton also loves nuzzling his neck and tickling him with his teeth feathers.
-Although Cotton doesn’t need much feeding, Patton tends to spoil him sometimes with treats. These treats are he lets his boi get at his cute feet. Usually with his head and feather teeth as they nibble around them.
Virgil
-Cotton loves Virgil to pieces, almost as much as Patton loves his dark strange son.
-Loves nibbling at the emo’s feet and uses his vines to tickle his sides gently.
-Patton makes extra sure that Cotton knows Virgil’s shyness and sensitivity, so Cotton is much nicer.
Deceit
-Deceit was a little wary at first because Cotton is more mobile and expressive than the other plants. But once he sees that he’s just a big pup, He’s not as cautious around him
-Dee has a very soft laugh, so Cotton always finds the best way to bring it out of him.
-Enjoys getting at his belly with his head and vines on his feet!
Remy
-It sometimes happens, not often though.
-At first, because of his size, Remy was quite wary of Cotton. But like Deceit, after he saw how it reacts around Patton, he realized it was just a big plant puppy.
-When they do tickle fight, it ends in Cotton getting at his feet and sides.
Dr. Picani
-Cotton and Picani are indeed besties! If Patton was his father, then Picani would be his close uncle!
-Picani plays catch with Cotton and is always down for a good feeding time.
-Absolutely adores Picani’s umbilicus and tummy. When Cotton is feeling a little mischievous, and Picani wanders a bit too close, he’ll use his leaves to lift up Picani’s shirt and smile wickedly, not even doing anything.
