If you can't tell, we've gotten to the rounds where people start consistently suffering :D

First up, Minotaur! Around 7-9 ft (2.1-2.7 m) tall, impeccable sense of direction, strong as an ox, and typically cover those massive horns in etchings and runes and bands of metal! They actually aren't quick to anger in particular, just passionate in general, they're just as quick to laughter. They value not just power, but wit and cunning, so you can still impress without needing to get rough...but they do usually enjoy getting rough.

Leonin are lion people! These are 6-7 ft (1.8-2.1 m) tall, strong, bold, confident, and surprisingly forgiving. People think they're short tempered, but they're really just looking for an excuse to wrestle, argue, or fight. Any sort of battle of wit or body to challenge themselves with. They don't hold grudges, likely because they're so confident that insults don't hurt them, just prove your opinion worthless. Their claws are also retractable, and they do have a loud (and frightening) roar!

The Sands of Time

like what you see? i take commissions and art trades!

Surprise! Ryix has a back tattoo! He earned this at his "igo", which is a three-day journey that every Leonin takes when they turn 20 years old. They are considered a "cub" in the eyes of the Pride until they return. On the eve of their return, the young Leonin brings back three items to represent a lesson they learned on each day of their journey. A feast is held and the young Leonin gets to explain their items & lessons. The entire next day is spent with the elders, who create a custom tattoo based on the Leonin's learned lessons and their Pride. Once the tattoo is complete, a ceremony is held to welcome the young Leonin as a full member of their Pride. I titled this piece "The Sands of Time" since Ryix's pride is the Sandrunners. (disclaimer: this lore was created by me; please don't recreate it without my permission. It is not canon DnD content!) Also little design note: he has not gained his braid yet, nor does his mane/tail have white streaks yet! More to come on those :3

"Don't look back"

I seem to really like painting Garlan in sunset colors lol. Anyway, in this weeks session of his game he received a letter from his wife and son, basically a "we know we wont ever see you again, but we love you so much and you would be proud of how well the pride has been faring with your son as the new king" and it made me very emotional :')

So at the back there are Garlan's wife, Kore and his son, Akrion, facing the setting sun, while Garlan faces the night ahead.

I updated a while ago the design of my DnD leonin/aasimar character, Albin Oslion, to fit better with the backstory I have in mind for him.
