Sweet! Boyfriend who’s never been in a relationship before, not until you asked him out, at least. He has no idea what he’s doing and you can tell, but it’s endearing in its own weird, wacky way.

Sweet! Boyfriend who has no idea how to behave around you. Should he kiss you when he greets you? Should he grab your hand and hold it tight as you walk around together? Is he even allowed to touch you so boldly? He doesn’t know, and he doesn’t want to risk embarrassing you or pushing a boundary, so he simply…doesn’t. He waits for you to make the make the first move time after time, desperate for your attention but too afraid to ask for it.

Sweet! Boyfriend who awkwardly begins asking you on dates once you remind him that he’s allowed to initiate romantic gestures too. He’s so scared of disappointing you with his lack of experience, but he does his best, shooting quick, embarrassed invitations to dinners or movies with a blush on his face. His nerves are endearing, a living display of how flustered you make him.

Sweet! Boyfriend who tenses up whenever you touch him, only to melt into your sweet embrace as soon as he realizes what’s happening. He’s not used to physical affection, least of all from a romantic partner, so it takes him a second to process the endearing touches gracing his skin. It feels awkward and scary to him, being physically connected to someone else, but he can’t help but snuggle into your side after a couple moments of deliberation, soaking up all the warmth you give him. Your touch is like a drug to him, he craves it so badly, yet doesn’t know how to instigate on his own. He’ll work up the confidence eventually, but for now, you’ll have to get him used to your touch. He’ll get the hang of it after a while, you can be sure of that.

Sweet! Boyfriend who likes to tease, but it never has the impact it should because he’s too nervous to hurt you. It gets easier as the two of you banter back and forth, but he makes sure you know his teasing is nothing but lighthearted, and in return, you do the same for him.

Boyfriend who physically cannot complement you without blushing and/or averting his eyes, forcing himself to speak the words he so desperately wants to say to you but doesn’t have the courage to do so without getting flustered. It’s yet another habit of his that gets easier with time, but it never fails to make you feel special, with how shy he gets. As if you’ve stunned the words right out of his mouth.

Sweet! Boyfriend who doesn’t know much about relationships, but the one thing he does know is that he wants to make you feel loved and appreciated every second of your relationship. He’ll slip up every once in a while, everyone does, but you’ll never doubt how much he cares for you, not if he can help it.

If there is one thing Percy is once you two are together is down bad.

We’ve all seen it, that man is lovesick to the bone.

Honestly I’d say he’s willing to get on his knees for you any day.

We all know he’s a loyal man — it literally is his fatal flaw.

Still though I felt it was important to add because he will not let any negative thoughts plague your mind.

You will literally never doubt his fidelity because he makes sure you know just how devoted he is to you and how much he loves you <3

Mostly because he says it non-stop.

Also because of how much he does for you.

Firm believer that actions speak louder than words, so be ready to have him constantly offer to do stuff for you.

Door? Opened.

Food? Already paid for.

House? Scrubbed every little inch.

He may not be the best at some of these skills, but he will always try his hardest for you.

I feel like I have to follow that up with this: He may be loyal, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to be an asshole to others.

I always see people say it’s a red flag if your boyfriend opens the door for girls, or if he lets them down kindly while rejecting them.

But honestly I’d say it just shows how much of a gentleman he is.

My favorite thing about Apollo kids is how varied they can be.

Like you can be in that cabin for singing, poetry, medicine, archery, etc.

You can find every single type of person there and I love that.

He’d love you for any hobby you have, honestly he just really likes how talented you are.

Percy would just really admire your passion and dedication to your craft.

BUT if you were a medic then he would just love to have you fussing over him whenever he gets an injury.

Sort of like Leo I do believe he’d go to the infirmary just for little scraps in order to see you.

For my musically talented Apollo kids, I think he loves to hear you playing your instrument / hearing you sing more than any other melody ever.

Honestly after all he’s gone through your music helps him calm down and feel relaxed.

Sometimes he’d just sit by when you’re practicing but ends up falling asleep by how peaceful he feels

Might go one step further and add that I believe this could also somewhat fit with the poets.

The way your voice sounds when you recite your poems leaves him so <3

Sometimes he thinks your dad is pretty annoying but, in the end, one of the nicer gods.

Overall, definitely one of the sweetest bfs ever who would literally do anything for you!

He’s staying up late again, working on some project he can very well finish the next day.

But, of course, he can’t, because he needs to finish it now.

Every once in a while he enters this phase of overworking himself until he passes out every night.

Everytime you would be there until he snapped out of it, but this time you weren’t having it at all.

Seeing his eye bags get bigger as the days passed by broke your heart.

Good thing you’re a child of Hecate!

Your magic came in handy in many ways.

Levitating objects towards you when you’re feeling lazy.

Creating fire or cold when needed.

For fighting or protecting yourself against monsters.

Honestly I say this all the time but that man is soo in love it’s insane.

No one is safe from his rants about you.

Literally thinks your magic is the coolest thing ever.

If you didn’t know her before, then he’d definitely introduce you to Hazel, since he related your use of magic to hers.

You end up getting along pretty well and you sometimes help her with her magic if she needs it.

Leo loves to rant to you about his day all the time.

He’d tell you about all the little things he did, and beg you to explain your day in detail, too.

If he doesn’t understand some magic-related stuff you tell him, then he’ll basically get on his knees and beg you to explain it to him.

He wants to understand you and what you’re interested in.

It’s very important to him to know you, maybe even more well than you know yourself.

And, to be honest, he does a pretty good job at that.

I already mentioned this somewhere before, but I believe Leo would have a little journal full of facts about you – things you’re interested in, random stories you’ve told him, people that you care about…

It may be a little creepy that he has literally everything, but he would just hate to forget something about you, especially if it’s important to you.

Anyways, back to the point.

That journal also holds explanations about your magic and little notes he made to help you out if you’re struggling.

Sometimes you wonder why he doesn’t try to work with magic, too. Especially considering how much understanding he has for it thanks to you.

Honestly, this trope gives me black cat and orange cat energy.

He’s a little weird, and you’re super cool.

Leo’s energy is contagious, though.

You end up being silly together.

The same way he enjoys it when you chill at his workshop while he works, he would love to just be relaxing nearby while you practice your magic.

He loves it when you are around each other, even if you aren’t exactly talking or anything.

Just your company is enough for him <3

Giving Leo’s past with bullies, if anyone in camp dares to make fun of him then they’ll soon face your wrath.

They’ll have to enjoy a nose-less life (at least until Chiron forces you to put them back to normal again)

He can very well defend himself, but the thing is he usually won’t.
