I fell a bit behind on Letters from Watson, time to read Shoscombe old place today! :)

Sherlock Holmes had been bending for a long time over a low-power microscope. Now he straightened himself up and looked round at me in triumph. 'Holmes is not human' confirmed, but only in the sense that it is inhuman to be bend over for a long time without developing extreme back pain

“Is it one of your cases?” “No; my friend, Merivale, of the Yard, asked me to look into the case. I don't know if it just my terrible memory for names, but Merivale does not sound familiar. Which is a bit odd, a 'friend' of Holmes we don't yet know. Also strange that Watson is referring to this case as 'your case'. As a result, this case feels rather old? Like it happened long ago, when Holmes and Watson were much less intimate

So, in summary, so far we've got a man who's violent, mistreats his sister, creeps around at night on some secret business, is severely in debt and utterly reliant on one outcome of a gamble to solve his financial problems. Sounds like a good cocktail for a major interferrence plot to secure the gambling outcome. Torture, murder and abduction not excluded from the possiblities

Thus it was that on a bright May evening Holmes and I found ourselves alone in a first-class carriage So I read this fic on AO3 where Holmes and Watson also were alone in a first class carriage and they - ok, nevermind, my AO3 history is between me and my browser only

They dig things up and like bones, which might be inconvient if you're digging up dead bodies? They bark when strangers enter the grounds at night? Considering that a stranger did enter the grounds, it might be just that Robert was concerned about the dog raising alarm on that

Let us suppose, Watson—it is merely a scandalous supposition, a hypothesis put forward for argument's sake—that Sir Robert has done away with his sister.” Ok that does make more sense as to why the dog had to go! Of course, a dog would not be fooled by an impersonator. Nor would a horse

And then, with some return of his truculent manner: “What business is it of yours?” “My name is Sherlock Holmes,” said my companion. “Possibly it is familiar to you. In any case, my business is that of every other good citizen—to uphold the law. It seems to me that you have much to answer for.” Holmes' confrontations just are the best. Imagine being this large man with a fearsome reputation, pulling a weapon upon a stranger you find in your own crypt at night, and he just calmly confronts you with what filth he has dug about you. Scary levels of confidence there. I would be taken aback too

“‘Fore God, Mr. Holmes, it's all right,” said he. “Appearances are against me, I'll admit, but I could act no otherwise.” Wondering what excuse this violent villain will come up with

“Well, Sir Robert,” said Holmes, rising, “this matter must, of course, be referred to the police. It was my duty to bring the facts to light, and there I must leave it. Glad that Holmes will not hush up this case. That man may not have murdered his sister, but everything else he did was still out of all bounds, and only done for purely selfish reasons

It is generally known now that this singular episode ended upon a happier note than Sir Robert's actions deserved. (...) Both police and coroner took a lenient view of the transaction, and beyond a mild censure for the delay in registering the lady's decease, the lucky owner got away scatheless from this strange incident in a career which has now outlived its shadows and promises to end in an honoured old age. A rather dissapointing ending to this story, in my opinion. I guess that 'debts should not bring about personal ruin' is a rad point, just as 'don't believe all scandalous gossip', but all the rest just reads like the result of class privilege. Looking for actual work instead of just gambling to gain his own income was of course not even considered. His near deadly attack on Sam Brewer was not adressed, nor are his violent ways. Possibly Doyle considered this a realistic outcome in his time? I love, however, that both Holmes and Watson still made their contempt for this man clear

“Materialistic Lady” returns on December 26th with season 2.

Review: It’s cute! FL is often drawn with squirrel ears or a tail & her brother is drawn with rabbit ears. They’re adorable. She’s silly! Stories about debt normally stress me out (I have enough irl), but it’s actually funny watching her fail to pay off her debts because we know she’ll be okay. It’s a light hearted RoFan, & I love a protective himbo older brother.

Summary: ogStory: Crown Prince Anoch was cursed to have no emotions because the Emperor killed Sabrina's (a witch) lover to marry her for land. Roselia Kaneph gets engaged to the emotionless Crown Prince Anoch to clear her family's debt, falls in love, & steps aside when he falls for Serena, who has a piece of his soul stone, which grants him some emotion & they fall in love.

Our FL transmigrates as Roselia Kaneph, gets the soul fragment first, befriends Serena (ogFL) & Jane Ennes, and gets partial credit when Serena saves the Emperor. The Emperor doesn’t like house Kaneph, so he gives her a much smaller reward, and Serena’s now Viscountess of Floen. Roselia’s engagement is arranged. While trying to avoid reporters, Roselia finds Crown Prince Anoch's portrait, touches it, the gems fall out, he thinks she's a thief, she says she’s an emotion expert, trips, they kiss, & the reporters get pics. Roselia decides to show Anoch disgust through terrible food then has the chef make his favorites. Anoch realizes why people eat delicious food. Reige Kaneph (Roselia’s brother) misunderstands a situation, attacks Anoch, revealing he’s an elementalist, & ends up having to work for Anoch. At Anoch's birthday, things don't go as planned, but people think they're close & that Anoch is flustered. Roselia starts a trend of “naturalism” - it’s an elf thing. As the celebration continues, Elizabeth Dalton hangs around Reige; her family used to be scholars, but they deal in information now (1-20).

The palace sent a priest to heal Verdi, Kaneph’s only maid. Jane refers Michael to help Roselia. Roselia finds Reige’s constantly scammed. Jane reports that the money lenders are suspicious. Roselia explains to Anoch that they need to act like a couple to convince the public, which will sway the vatican, who don’t want him as emperor. Roselia sells pictures of her dates with Anoch until he passes a new law that means people in photos have to give permission for them to be used. Serena comes to the Kaneph farm & finds a gold bracelet with unknown writing. At Jane’s family banquet, Anoch surprises Roselia by attending, seems jealous, dances with her, picks her up when she tries to step on his feet, he’ll pay her to help him feel specific emotions, wants to spend more time together, and she remembers that love is what got the vatican to acknowledge him in the ogStory. Anoch suspects Roselia's working with the vatican because they healed Verdi & she knows he didn’t kill his brothers; she says he’s only thinking logically & not emotionally. When someone asks about her engagement, Anoch says the Emperor just approved it. He apologizes for earlier.

Anoch blinds her with money & she starts the hard training to be an elementalist. He gives her an amethyst necklace, which becomes a trend. They nail a press conference & have to do more interviews. Anoch says he's making a law to standardize nobles giving gifts so they don't look like bribes, "to protect Roselia from rumors". He tells her not to worry about money. Anoch gifts her a jewelry set. Elizabeth might just have a crush on Reige. The engagement party ends early when Arden, a priest that hates nobles, arrives early in town. Anoch has Roselia confess before he goes, & he blushes when saying it back. Ardin finds Roselia drunk. She goes with him & he finds she has 3 souls: Korean-self, ogRoselia, & Anoch's soul stone (21-57).

Another 12 months of animatin', illustratin' and video creatin' in the can! This was another pretty stacked year for freelance work and building up my YouTube channel. Read on for more details on each month!

January:

The year kicked off with the release of What a Waste, which I animated at the end of last year. I created a poster to celebrate it's launch.

I also had some artwork in print via an article in LeftLion magazine!

I also illustrated my OC Drillbot ReV for the year of the rabbit and put out a new animation showreel.

February:

I did a valentines card for CherryT of the pair of us in Mario & Luigi style. I was also commissioned to do an edit of the van animation I did last year, this time with a car and some other minor tweaks.

March:

At the start of this month I hit over 1000 subscribers on YouTube, only took 17 years! To celebrate I put together a quick video talking about the past, present and future of the channel, using it as a test to see how I could start making more fully-edited, scripted videos using my PNGTuber.

The first of these was an almost hour long video exploring my DVD/Blu-Ray collection.

April:

This was the month that I really pushed to get a load different videos out on my channel, with full illustrated thumbnails for each! This mostly consisted of a six-part let's play of the Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog, cut down from an April fools day livestream.

I also did an impressions video about the Super Mario Bros movie and a scripted video about Easter eggs I snuck into my animations, just in time for Easter! I also made a speedpaint video for one of the video thumbnails and made a new logo for the speedpaint videos.

There was also a birthday card illustration for CherryT inspired by the Mario movie!

May:

May was a pretty quiet month, mainly consisting of two illustrations: a quick one of an OC for mermay and a piece of fan art of vTuber Asha the Game Genie. Both of these were captured off-stream and turned into speedpaint videos.

I also made a supercut of a Netherlands travel vlog from 2018 with a bunch of additional footage that I never got around to editing before, in time for the 5th anniversary of our friends wedding that we attended that year!

June:

My first big freelance project finally arrived between May and June, an informational film about Credit Unions, done in a similar style to several films I did last year, but with more colour in the mix.

I also did a couple of livestreams this month, namely a reaction stream to a Nintendo Direct and a Sonic anniversary stream, a part of which was edited into a video of me drawing obscure Sonic characters from memory.

July:

With that freelance project done and dusted I dedicated most of this month to some personal animating stuff: mainly giving my PNGTuber a fresh coat of paint by improving all the animations with more frames. I made a scripted video about the process.

I also made big progress on a re-animated collab shot that I finally finished in November.

August:

Browsing my pages you'd think I did absolutely nothing this month, but I was in fact deep in researching for a video series I plan to make for YouTube in the near future when I have more spare time for it. What started as a single short video idea deep-dived into a rabbit hole of fascinating stuff that I can't wait to share with you all!

I also started animating an intro for this video series, which is currently sitting in sketch form and will be returned to next year when I can!

September:

My YouTube planning had to be stuck on hold as another big freelance project landed on my lap: an informational film about community lenders. There is some pretty fun scenes in this, and yet another loan shark character! This took up all of September and was released at the end of October.

October:

Just as I wrapped up the previous project another even bigger one was being cooked up: a sequel to What a Waste! Once the filming of the puppetry and the recording of the voice talent was ready I could get to work on once again animating faces for the returning apple character and the five new characters!

What a Waste was a pretty experimental film but this time around I had a working system in place to jump straight in and assumed I would be able to get this one done in less time. I technically did get it done in less time because the deadline for it was much tighter, but it was a crunch to do so, consisting in total of over 2000 assets!

In the short space between these projects I illustrated Rouge the Bat based on a Twitter trend.

November:

November was mostly taken up by wrapping up production on Apple-y Ever After. In total it took about five weeks, about a week longer than I planned, not helped by me choking on a slice of potato that rendered shallowing anything difficult for weeks! It was a good thing CherryT was around at the time to perform a Heimlich maneuver on me! Absolute life saver!

A teaser trailer was released mid way through the month.

Once that was done with I went back and finally finished this shot for the Wario Ware GOLD re-Animated collab that I had been chipping away at on-and-off for around three years! It's done pretty nicely on both Newgrounds and YouTube. The full collab should be out sometime next year! Speaking of which, I have another shot reserved that I need to crack on with when I'm less busy with freelance work!

December:

I've started another big animation project that will run until the end of January and hopefully be released in Feb. This was the third project in a row with hardly a break in between and that, on top of the film work, left me feeling pretty burnt out, hence this quick doodle.

Digital Eclipse summed up the birthday cake CherryT made for me best!

I spent the spare time I had at the start of the month to make a video about the latest birthday cake CherryT made me. I also took this opportunity to edit remasters of previous cake videos, including one that was never finished. Here's the playlist for all six of them.

Apple-y Ever After finally released near Xmas, which meant I could publish this poster I made for it. Next month there will be a making of video published by Deadline and so far the film has been quite the hit, currently sitting at around 40K views!

Finally, I published an old Xmas animation from 2010 on YouTube, but because the original video had copyrighted music baked into the sound effects, I remade the soundtrack from scratch!

The Wolf With The Red Roses.

Chapter One

“On a hot summer night would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?

Yes.

I bet you say that to all the boys”

Meatloaf’s powerful voice sounded slightly tinny over the ancient speakers at Granny’s Diner, not that anyone was taking much notice of him. In fairness the song really didn’t suit the day. There wasn’t a burning beach, it was the middle of October, certainly not a hot summers night. The fog which had grown denser as the day wore on apparently had no inclination to go crawling over the sand preferring instead to hang around in town making everything feel damp.

“We won’t be able to see the full moon tonight” complained Ruby.

“We won’t be able to see across the bloody street soon” Hook frowned as he shrugged his heavy black leather coat on “I hate fog” he opened the door to leave just as Belle tried to come in.

“Sorry love! After you” he stepped to the side letting her pass.

“Ever the gentleman Hook” she smiled

“I try”

Belle took a stool at the counter, ordered a hot chocolate “with a little extra flavouring please Ruby, I’m bloody freezing” Her ears picked up as she caught a little bit of the song, making her blush slightly because Belle had found herself a wolf who apparently had access to an entire garden of red roses.

The wolf had first appeared on the night of the August full moon. Walking home from a girls night at the Rabbit Hole, Belle had been unable to shake the feeling she was being followed. She’d stopped several times to listen for footsteps, zigzagged from one side of the street to the other whilst discreetly checking behind her using shop windows and the wing mirrors on cars, but couldn’t see anyone. She’d almost shouted out in fright when she saw the wolf sitting outside the library door. It wasn’t a particularly big wolf, it had brown fur tinged with grey, deep brown eyes and a rose between it’s teeth. Belle had stood open mouthed as it padded over, dropped the rose at her feet, appeared to almost smile and then ambled off down the street like it owned it.  Later it would occur to her that the animal seemed to have a slight limp.

Belle had tried not to think about it too much, however when September’s full moon came round the wolf had been back. Just after midnight as she’d been about to go to bed, a mournful howl had drifted in through the window. She’d gone downstairs, opened the door and there it was again with a rose between it’s teeth.

“You okay Belle? You look a bit flushed” Ruby carefully placed the glass mug down on the counter

“I’m fine, just the change in temperature” she picked up the drink, warming her cold hands on the mug and took a sip “how much extra flavouring is in this..?”  Ruby just winked as she served the next customer. Belle laughed, she took her book from her bag and started to read, managing to drown out the background music and the steady stream of patrons until

“A rare burger?” Ruby repeated sounding slightly incredulous “I can’t serve you that! You’ll be ill and then you’ll sue us!”

Belle pretended she wasn’t listening.

“I assure you Miss Lucas I will be fine. Now please just give me my order and I can be on my way”

“Okay fine” Ruby turned away muttering something about him obviously being a real predator.

Belle glanced sideways at the person concerned. It was Mr Gold the pawnbroker, landlord, money lender and lone wolf.

Wolf.

No don’t be so silly Belle she mentally scolded herself. Just because he has brown hair tinged with silver, deep brown eyes, eats rare burgers and has a limp does not make him the wolf. There are no such things as werewolves she told herself sternly, anyway he hasn’t got a rose between his teeth. She giggled at the thought. Gold heard and raised an eyebrow at her, then smiled. Wolfishly.

Stop it  Belle! She chastised herself again. However much alcohol Ruby had added to the hot chocolate obviously had gone straight to her head. Best not to have a second.

She was still laughing to herself later that night as she got into bed. Mr Gold the werewolf how bloody ridiculous. She stopped laughing though when an impatient howl rang out from the street below.

“No way” she got back out of bed, wrapped a dressing gown round herself and went downstairs to open the door. There was the wolf, somehow managing to look very smug, with a rose between it’s teeth.

For a minute neither one moved, they stood staring at each other in the cold, murky fog. Belle caved in first “Well… are you going to come in or are you going home?” The animal looked a little taken aback , it’s earlier bravado fading somewhat. Now that it had Belle’s full attention it seemed unsure as to what to do with it. “Make your mind up wolf, I’m not standing out here all night freezing my arse off” Belle pulled the dressing gown tighter, folding her arms across her body as if that would help ward off the cold. The wolf whimpered, shifting it’s weight across three paws, almost like a human would shuffle their feet, woofed in an embarrassed tone and then looked down the street towards the row of shops. It appeared to expect some sort of answer from her. Belle sighed “Look Skippy, Lassie, Pluto or whatever your name is, I don’t speak wolf, so if there’s a kid stuck down a well or something you’re going to have to do better than that”

The wolf rolled it’s eyes. Belle was quite sure wolves weren’t supposed to be able to do that however she wasn’t about to debate the issue “I’m going back to bed” she told it firmly “you can either come up with me or you can go to wherever it is you live, up to you” with that she turned round and stepped back through the doorway. The wolf thought for a moment, then gently pushed the rose towards her with it’s snout. Woofing softly it too turned and started off down the street. Belle picked up the flower, hurried back upstairs to her flat and went straight to the window. Parting the curtains just enough to see out, she watched the wolf as it crossed the deserted road, heading right for Gold’s shop. It looked around then pawed at the door till it opened, disappearing inside. Belle swore she heard it howl just as the door closed. She continued to watch the shop for a while, when there wasn’t any further activity she decided to retire for the night. Just as she decided to close the curtains, the lights inside the pawnbroker’s switched off one by one. Gold walked out of the shop, locking the door behind him. His face was half hidden in the shadows thrown by the street light. Suddenly he turned to look right at her, as if he knew she was spying on him. Belle ducked back behind the curtain but she was certain he’d seen her. When she dared to peak again he had vanished.

“I need a drink” she had some brandy somewhere, that would do. After pouring herself a large measure she sat down heavily on the sofa, closing her eyes. She wasn’t one for swearing but couldn’t help the “Fucking Hell” that escaped.

Mr Gold was a werewolf. Mr Gold was a werewolf who had been bringing her roses.

Hair: Saachi’s natural hair color is a vibrant forest green. It is long, straight, and often pulled back into a braid (or down with multiple braids woven through it) or clasped with pretty bows.

Eyes: Saachi’s eyes are a dark yellow/gold with a lighter, brighter yellow limbral ring around them.

Height: 62.4 inches (5′2″)

Build: On first glance, Saachi might look deceptively frail. While tall for a female au’ra, she is still petite. She wears very feminine dresses, skirts and blouses that, while very pretty, hide that beneath the delicate fabrics, big skirts, and puffy sleeves she’s actually quite strong. Saachi believes very strongly in hard work and discipline and her toned, muscular body shows this.

Common Accessories: Saachi is always wearing some kind of jewelry (usually gold): rings, necklaces, hair combs, anything she finds pretty. She carries a traveling bag with her with medicine kits inside, a good book to read (fairytales and adventure stories with plenty of drama and romance are her favorite), something to snack on, and usually flowers that she’s gathered or toys that she’s purchased from vendors to give to children she encounters. She also carries either a staff or a wand with her for conjury purposes. She is learning to swordfight and, being intensely dedicated to anything she chooses to pursue, it is likely she will start carrying a sword with her as well.

Profession: Saachi currently helps run a daycare in the Mist and also volunteers her time as a midwife and healer for refugees that do not have access to city doctors. She will say that being a ‘hero in training’ is also her profession, but it is usually greeted with polite chuckles and pats on the head rather than being taken seriously (she takes it very seriously).

Hobbies: Daydreaming, reading, playing harp, working on a book she hopes to one day publish about Eorzean folklore, researching this book by looking into any reports of any peculiar monsters or beasts to verify if they are real (and fight them if they are causing problems), offering her assistance to anyone in need, building sand castles on the beach, flying kites in windy weather, dancing barefoot in the grass. Naive runaway: Saachi had a very controlling father when she was younger. She wasn't allowed to go anywhere unaccompanied, she had no close friends, she went nowhere dangerous. 5 years ago she ran away and she's learned a lot since then, but 5 years is still not very long in the grand scheme of things. She trusts extraordinarily easily and does not always immediately recognize signs of danger or cons.

Hero worship: While she didn't have many friends as a child, she did have a great deal of books. Her father let her read as many fairytales and myths as she wanted and it became the blueprint for what she'd begin to think of the world: It's a place full of dangers and people who need help. She wants to be that help! She'll recklessly throw herself into danger if it means being a hero.

Protector of children: Since discovering that she did not have the childhood she should have, she has made it a life's mission to make sure that other children do. She runs a daycare near the beach and her mission is to give the children there as much space to build their imaginations, creativity, and selves as they need. If a child is in need, Saachi is going to do everything she can to help that child.

Midwife: Saachi has been under the tutelage of Stillglade Fane since she ran away from home. She's a practicing conjurer and while she's always looking for an opportunity to protect allies in battle with her spells, she spends just as much time caring for pregnant refugees who do not have the access or funds to established doctors. She provides this service for free as she finds the opportunity to help those in need more meaningful to her than gil. If someone really wants to offer payment, she accepts donations to Stillglade Fane or to the daycare.

Law? What law?: Saachi does what she thinks is right no matter the consequences. And she tends to it in the most dramatic manner possible (that's what they'd do in books, after all). If local authority has laws in place that get in the way of her helping someone, she will ignore that law. If it's in the way of helping, it shouldn't be a law anyway, right? This often puts her at odds with local governments and with the Fane.

Ana, I hope you’re doing well. February was a tough month for me, and left me feeling a little blue, but I’m so glad it’s over and I’m feeling much better now that it’s March (where does the time go??!). I know we talked about Jimin’s snaggletooth and Jin’s worldwide proportions, but today is actually like to talk about the one and only, Jeon Jungkook (and his bunny smile 🐰)

Facial analysis and profile: I think Jungkook has a tapered face shape. Sometimes he can have the most adorable chubby cheeks and other times he can look like a literal incubus demon (like you, I’m addicted to fanfic)! So there may be two reasons for Jungkook’s adorable chubby cheeked appearance: either an overgrowth of his masseter muscle that sits on the front of your jaw, or an pronounced buccal fat pad (buccal is just a fancy term for cheek). His symmetry is really on point, and you can tell his face is very proportional, especially in profile view (again the lender of another abnormally sharp jawline)! The point I really wanted to hit on was that Jungkook has so many adorable moles on his face (the scientific term for a mole is a nevus), and it was just interesting to me because at my school, they teach us to screen moles for signs of skin cancer at every visit (sorry that turned morbid so fast)

Nose 👃🏽, lips👄, and chin 🗣: Jungkook’s nasolabial angle is almost perfectly 90 degrees, which indicates good upper lip support. His labiomental groove is also very defined, indicating he has a prominent chin! I think Jungkook also has nice lips (is that weird to say)? His Cupid’s bow is so defined (the guy wears lipstick better than I do! 😍

Tooth and smile analysis: okay this is my favorite feature on him!! I love his bunny teeth with all my heart. They lend him such a useful appearance (bc he’s bangtan’s baby 🥺) Fun fact, I learned recently that rabbits teeth differ from humans in that they never fully mature and continue to keep regenerating throughout their lifetime (meanwhile once human teeth are gone, they’re gone.) Bunny teeth, or buck teeth in general, are caused by a condition called overbite. This could be because the top jaw is more far forward than the lower jaw, but I think in JK’s case, his front teeth are tipped and just have a different inclination! This can be corrected by Invisalign if you don’t like it (not every case though)! I would say Jungkook’s smile arc is flatter than the other boys, meaning that it doesn’t follow the contours of his lower lip, it’s just a straight line. However, his smile is no less stunning, esp when those dimples pop (that zygomaticus major muscle tho)!!

He says he's getting old and he's so tired of being in pain and stuck in a wheelchair and in a nursing home. He doesn't want me to visit him today, but said maybe tomorrow. As usual, he let me go quickly, said he needed his pain shot and then said, I love you, through tears, almost sobs and hung up. It's so hard and I don't know what else I can do for him. I just needed to say something, think out loud.”

One tradition passed down from my grandparents & dad💕 My baby at Knott’s riding horses there like me when little. And, just like me, didn’t want to get off when time was up.

I’m hoping to find photos showing how different Knott’s was when I was little. I’d like to point out my favorite memories. The farm animals area had a mascot dog, Queenie, who was always a tail-wagging greeter. She was the first one I wanted to go see and hug and get face-licks from. Just like Lassie, they were brilliant in naming each same breed dog Queenie over the years, when one would pass. Later, Knott’s Scary Farm and Knott’s Merry Farm came into existence. T likes to go to the Halloween Haunt every year. I used to go all the time, too. Since my birthday is just two days after Halloween it’s usually celebrated in some Halloween combination. I remember when I went to Knott’s Scary Farm with my friends for my 16th birthday and I couldn’t wait to visit the farm. “Farm?” Yeah, it’s still here although not a main attraction now. I went home with a Red Satin bunny. I named her Pumpkin.

I have a small oil painting of cats, given to me when I was a little girl, and three of his pen etchings; a fox, a rabbit, and my favorite of a tree. I also have two paintings of flowers I asked for. All used to be up on the walls in my homes. T has a few of them in my stored belongings at their place, as well as my piano. I hope they don’t get damaged at any point. There’s a sad story about a lot of my grandfather’s work, and who has them, who avoided me after the funeral. My family out there say they will try to figure out a way to get them back, but I know they won’t, or can’t. This woman is wealthy and thinks she’s entitled. Anyway, it’s not important. My family who have paintings of his offered them to me, to take them down off of their walls (of course I couldn’t take them)... this woman avoided me at all costs, with several excuses, until I had to leave. I don’t know why they’re so important to her! Anyway, this painting was one that my dad loved. He had it hanging in his homes for years. When he became paralyzed, he pleaded with the doctors to let him go home again. Once he pushed through physical therapy and proved he was strong enough to do it, they released him. But, sadly, his roommate came home one day to a tipped over wheelchair, blood (and more) all over the walls and floor, and my dad missing. Thankfully, a neighbor heard him cry out and called an ambulance. We had no idea which hospital he was taken to. By the time I found him, walking into the ER room sectionals, the nurse across the way told the others, his DR says he’s DNR. I looked over and saw that it was my dad... too many details to tell it all, but I said, “No he’s not! Resuscitate him right now!” Who are you? - His daughter. What doctor said that? He’s fired. And I had her call my dad’s Internal Medicine doctor, who agreed to become his primary doctor. Too many details, but even after all that happened, they didn’t insert the tube correctly, and I pointed that out, because they were saying it was useless that he was going to die. So, they rushed him to x-ray and found out I was right, and corrected it. Everything was a nightmare. There’s so much more. He had a raging staph infection. His skin was discolored throughout his entire body, looking leopard-like. They said he wouldn’t recover from it... just like when they wanted me to pull the plug and he fully recovered. It goes on and on... too much to think about, really. But, that’s when the doctor did the dirty work for me and told him that he had to go back to a nursing home. Anyway, this painting, and some of my dad’s other belongings (when I moved him out of that house with his roommate), was kept in the warehouse where I worked. When I finally got my piano and the other stuff out of there only a few years ago, I planned to bring this painting to my dad and hang it in his room at the home. He was looking forward to it, but then his health took a turn, and he died before I could bring it to him. So, it’s been sitting in my room since... painting side against the wall, to protect it, braced by other things. If I could get my own place, I would hang them all again. I think at this point, we’re stuck here until spring, losing more money to rent, medical, meds and all in the meantime. I just hope that nothing changes by spring and we can still make this happen before I won’t be able to contribute anything or do for myself in that way. We’ll see 🙏🏻

Oh! I almost forgot! Look what I came across yesterday: baby...

I noticed my photos program created this video this August. It’s mostly of Aiden (T’s Make-A-Wish kitty) one of the last times when he was real sick, and I’m also trying to connect on Skype with T for him in the video, lol... It helped him a lot. We finally managed to get through to each other. They Skyped daily a few times... he was anticipating it in the one shot. It was awful how he died. Just like my dad. Neither should have gone through what they did. I can’t let that happen to Marozi. Everyone needs to brace themselves soon. Neither my aunt or T are ready to have him put down, and I talk about it all the time, but both keep saying he’s better in between... For what? Half a day? Anyway, dreading it, too. But I can’t experience more like that. I just can’t. It’s too much for me. I’ve seen and been through too much already. The flashbacks of both of them are hard. And, not just of them... of the children I watched die in the hospital, of all of the medical stuff I saw with my kid, my dad, Alex, others and my beloved animals, too. I just can’t. But, here’s the video... strange... the music doesn’t fit either. And, although Aiden looks awful in these photos, it’s not so bad that I wince and cringe and feel that deep emotional pain. Just sharing to get it out, I guess: 

Currently watching, The Last Airbender, on our new 55″ TV. Not bad. Theater sound. Our old TV went out two days ago. Waiting to hear if T & Alexandria are coming over for AHS. I have the house to myself for a few hours. Relaxing now... Trying to get my symptoms to calm down. Hours late on meds. Still can’t go without them. I guess I need Prednisone this time. I don’t think life will ever be easy for me. Ever. Nothing new.  I have to accept that, and have, and will. (Wed. 1:45pm)

Oh! You want to know what’s happening...

Well, T & Alexandria came over last night, but didn’t stay as late as usual. In part because my brother had to drive them home and needed to get up early today because he went to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights. It must be nice to receive disability and health insurance and spend most of your time watching TV or playing video games or constantly going to amusement parks... Bitter, who me? And, I wasn’t feeling well, with my head foggy, so I didn’t feel like talking about any plans or progress on their part and they didn’t bring it up either. But, today, feeling worse I wrote to T. No response yet, but classes and work, etc. I’ll just paste screenshots. I left one little part out that is a little too personal to disclose publicly. Even if no response really, just knowing someone cares and listens is comforting (and I might delete a few later, but leave one that gives the gist for reference remembrance). I have to fwd them to be able to add here. I need a few. OK, here we go:

Maybe I said too much and it will just be skimmed again. But, I text, sent a detailed email before, and talk in person when I see them when I can and it doesn’t seem like I’m getting through to them. T tends to go into denial about the seriousness of a lot of things. I think it’s a coping mechanism. Like with Aiden and Marozi. Anyway, I noticed a few typos, too. Whatever. And, I typed loops instead of hoops (make you go through), but it feels more like loops, so it’s fitting, lol. I’m propped up in the living room chair with my support cushions and pillows, since my brother’s not here to take over the chair, and just made myself Double Spice Chai in my Stitch mug, and hope to find a movie to distract myself with for the time being. Hope your day is going smoothly! :)

New listing townhouse. I went ahead and sent the link, saying that if we could get a different lender and a little more offered (not much more) this would be ideal. Coupled with my subtle joke, the funny part was in the real estate wording, trying to make it sound like an automatic chair was a big selling point: “What a deal!’’ (I don’t think they thought it was funny.)

Peppermint tea and lights off, darkening blinds closed, diffusing a mix of Frankincense, Eucalyptus and Rosemary for the first hour. Next, I’ll add Peppermint and Lavender. The baby wants in with me so bad. He keeps rattling the doorknob and meowing in such a sorrowful way. He leaves and then comes back. It’s mid-afternoon. He can cat nap on the cat tree.

Putin will try a few scare tactics, through his cronies, but will let it go, not really caring. He has other tactics to gain his end, but I don’t think he realizes just how outdated most are, lol. It’s kind of funny to watch. But, on the serious side, it’s scary. 

Frankincense, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Peppermint and Lavender is an odd combination. I’m mostly smelling the Frankincense and Eucalyptus now. The others must have brought out those two to the forefront. Frankincense helps boost the immune system and reduces inflammation. Eucalyptus stimulates the immune system, relaxes sore muscles, helps with depression and fatigue, sinus and allergies, and mental exhaustion; per science.

+ Still no response from T even after I wrote again today...  I gave them a percentage of the original lender offer to deposit into their savings account to show we had at least that much for a down payment. Since it’s taking so long and doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen I’ve repeatedly told them both I need that money back to either use to afford moving/living expenses on my own, or medical if I’m without insurance much longer (part of the reason to move out of state), or to redeposit into the account it came from before the end of the year, if we move but not until spring, so I don’t get penalized for taking out too much this year without investment or proof of other mentioned.

Cliff Burton has a few things to say in my last personal post. I’ll be adding them soon… lending his energy. Thanks for reminding me Faith No More. And, get well, James… I’ll be with you soon in energy. too. You’ve been through enough. And you’ve remained one of the nicest guys I know. Remember. (Yeah, I sound crazy. Who cares. OK, I’ll admit it, I’m slow because I haven’t been feeling well. We got part of it figured out... I used a “green” light, “green” in the Metallica song... money is “green”... Trump is suddenly receiving a lot of money, so they say... a golf course is “green”. IT, Intelligence Test, [What is an IT raid? IDK] (IT, Institute of Technology; IT, In Training...) Thank God for energy in the meantime... still need more.

Ohhh!!! IT, Income Tax [raid]. “Green” is money, and sudden donations, tax evasion… Trump! OK, we’ve gotten a little farther… oh, this is good. OK, golf resorts are “green”, too. Whispering on the “green”. Those who can do are you listening? Do the math… you’ve got this! There’s more. I’ll keep on, too.

I keep getting Moscow. Not Russia. Not Putin. Moscow. I don’t understand.

Even though T gave me info, and said they could give me the money back, nothing more was said. I told T to hang onto it for now and explained no rush, but by mid December at latest to redeposit if we don’t move before spring or if I need it sooner for medical expenses. Asked what they’re thinking at this point and an important question to be able to get the insurance too. I think they’re upset with me. But, come on... I’ve been more than fair and patient until now, when I have pressing matters. It’s sad and sucks. Everything.
