I hope so too- she came home without being looked at because they were too full to deal with her, so my dad is going to try to go to the hospital on monday to try to karen his way into getting her an appointment. I really really hope that it isn't cancer (which is what both me and my dad are paranoid about), but my mom isn't too concerned because the pain apparently went back to being intermittent and her family has a history of autoimmune diseases that lead to the estrogen allergy/hypersensitivity both she and I have rn, which is what she thinks is causing it. The problem is that doctors always handwaved those kinds of issues, so she has no real way of knowing without getting a scan...which no doctor is willing to do

I just hope no organs are infected and getting ready to burst, or there's no tumors. She's only 53, so pretty young, but shit happens. And I'm cursed on my dad's side with intense paranoia and trust issues, so doomsday worrying + my terrible experiences with kaiser aren't helping much
