some process photos of me blending my all natural lemon room and linen spray! there is lavender in there too to add a bit of softness to the bright citrus mist. after this tincture has infused for at least 4 weeks it will be ready to bottle 💛💜
i also chose lavender to blend with lemon because they’re both immunity allies, with a penchant for perking people up when they’re feeling blue
this was so much fun to make, and so calming. yesterday i crafted *so* many new medicines and creations for Bloom Again. i prayed over the medicines throughout the whole day and told them how i love them✨ i thanked each of them for the joy of collaborating with their essences to craft blends that can help people 💓
herbal medicines have been a deep part of how i take care of myself for a while now. but there was quite a while when i was studying herbalism where i *knew* what medicines would be so helpful - but i couldn’t afford them. and that taught me why they are so important, what it’s like to need what you don’t have. one of my main missions within Bloom Again is to help that person - whoever they are and however divine need may express itself
it’s the anxiety tinctures that soften my frayed edges and keep me rooted firmly in myself. it’s the hydrosols that center me with fragrant beauty while i take care of my skin. it’s the spoonfuls of lavender honey in my tea. the hawthorn tincture that holds me when i Grieve and feel alone. it’s the herbal ghee that calms me down so i can sleep in true peace.
and sharing these things with others is what brings my heart to life ❤️‍🔥

Summer is wading through creeks, dense woods where the light glows green through the leaves, lemon balm, crawfish and waterstriders, the sweet scent of butterfly bush, the sound of crickets in the evening, and soft, velvety, dark nights filled with firefly darkness.

Lemon balm Dragon
This drawing was at first planned for the #GardenDragonTutorial challenge on Deviantart, but instead of drawing the mint dragon, I decided to draw his cousin Lemon balm dragon. When Lemon balm and mint dragon are together, they make a herbal tea with digestive and antiseptic properties, they want good for your health.

I have a baby lemon balm living in my house during this winter. It was spreading outside the confines of my lemon balm patch and was actually poking out of my pave stone walkway. I'm gonna plant it back outside in the spring to make a new lemon balm patch. For now it is enjoying house plant life.

So I put some lemon balm in a tiny vase for decoration, because I always have to pull it out of the garden because it's trying to take over everything. And after a week I got suspicious because it was still green and not dying back like plants usually do in a vase. And do you see the white lines in the water?? All of those plants decided to root in the water. So apparently I started propagating this plant accidentally. I think this only happens in spring, when the plant is so filled with growth hormones it doesn't even care if it's in soil or the water, this doesn't happen in the other seasons!
Anyway, I felt bad to let it rot in there, so I took one and planted it. Here it is after 1 week of getting into soil:

It already grew like 4 new leaves since it was in there, and I see it growing 2 more, it's growing like crazy. I already have enough of it in my garden, I think I'll gift it to a friend who likes lemon balm tea. I'm gonna bring this to them and go 'Do you want something aggressive and invasive in your garden'.

Look at my lil herbs :D
I sowed the seeds in late March. It’s lemon balm, sweet basil and lemon basil 🌱
In May I’ll sow some cucumbers and squash. Gonna keep them on my balcony during summer ☀️
