Help a disabled bi enby pay for car repairs!

Hi guys!! Life has been kicking me in the shins the last few months, but today I went to get groceries and this is what greeted me!

That's my engine *and* transmission oil! Mechanic has quoted me 1400 total to replace the oil pan gasket, transmission gasket, and valve cover gaskets, which all decided to go at the same time! Granted, my Cherry Bomb is an '07 so we were expecting to have to shell out for something soon, but this hit us between paychecks, and the next check also needs to pay rent and a psychiatrist visit I cannot resechedule because it's related to my disability claim for work!

I'm opening unlimited simple sticker commissions between today (Aug 20, 2024) and September 5th 2024, $10 per sticker, up to 8in/10cm length and/or width, max two colors (I know the Ghostbusters sticker has three, but I am limiting this run to two colors to keep it simple.) Here are some examples:

I prefer to either use existing IP logos like the ones here, common slogans or phrases (like 'Fuck The Police', 'Eat The Rich', or 'Be Gay, Do Crimes'), or work with you to create a unique design, unless I can directly ask an artist if I can use their work for a one-off sticker. For example if you show me a fandom sticker designed by another artist from like Etsy or something and want me to duplicate it, I MUST be able to OK that with them.

I am not taking shirt commissions at this time.

Not only can I not afford to buy the shirts, but I don't have a way to guarantee good-quality prints at this time. My aim here is to churn out something I know I can make quickly and at a good quality, and I cannot do that with shirts right now.

I've actually had this vinyl sitting around for about 4 years waiting for an excuse to use it because the color shift encompasses the full spectrum of Roland's hologram perfectly!

it took her so long to get used to affection . years of abuse and neglect and fear of touch; and any touch was cruel and confusing as mizuki never understood what she'd done to deserve it . . and in the same breath felt even now, maybe she had deserved it ?

but when iris shows up; all rainbows and safety , much like miss sagan . . . she remembers how iris was really the first person she trusted. her mother , hitomi , became someone she trusted. maybe . . even if her gut reaction said, you're betraying mom, by thinking . . maybe that's how a mother who loved you was.

despite that she never envied iris more than a sense of wishing she had even a little bit of it . the sagans gave it tenfold whenever they saw her. slowly defrosting the walls and ice around her heart enough that mizuki was comfortable in their home, laughing, eating dinner, even smiling . .

iris was her best friend . mizuki, still grappling with what once was said... was the girl who to iris of all people, said herself, was three universes worth. to think she'd have love like that in her life, family like that in her life . . . like . . . a big sister.

careful of her strength; and for once, not on edge, not with iris anyway, softened grey eyes meet her face with a look she probably isn't aware of. a look of familial love as she leans into her hug with a small laugh. " you sure you aren't biased ? "

it's teasing and soft for once; the twelve year old leaning into her embrace and soaking up every bit of love iris had to give. she had been living without love or basic kindness for so long. it was only right that mizuki returned it tenfold , too , right ?

she fumbles over her words.

" iris . . . you're . . i'm really happy i met you , iris. and miss sagan . i'm happy that . . . you're my best friend. and . . i'll always be there to protect you no matter what ! " it's said a bit fiercely , and with the grade schooler even at twelve, carrying strength more than groups of men three times her size . . . she could back that up. and when she got older ? she'd prove that too . all her life !

" . . . .... so . . ! i want you to rely on me , okay ? " there's a vulnerable look hidden by her face buried in iris' bright pink and white jacket. " . . . 'cause .... " we're a family or...i want to be. i want us to be family. but i'm scared to ask . i want to ask. but --

" oh , uh . never mind. i'll tell you later . . . "

maybe she'd get her courage to say it one day.

A calm, quiet afternoon brought about feelings of restlessness -- and the urge to move along with it. This newfound motivation guides her to a serene spot in Yoyagi park, without a soul to speak of anywhere nearby that she could see. With a self assured murmur of "perfect", the young woman claimed her temporary personal position of the park, and began her regimen. A few deep and dynamic stretches later, she felt limber enough to engage the reason she sought this spot in the first place. Music queued on her phone, she placed it in a safe perch, and with enthusiasm, the show started.

The music soon absorbed her completely, reality fading in favor of the melodic harmony that envelopes not only her but anything within the immediate vicinity. Her movements are succinct, precise, and flow beautifully with the music itself, just as she's practiced. Her voice projects clearly and with assured strength, surprisingly remaining unwaveringly stable despite her constant motion.

One sharp turn, and suddenly a pair of eyes had appeared where she first assumed they wouldn't be. Astonishment widens her own, sheepishness filling her cheeks with telling color. Her body jolts into a stiff, rigid posture, standing straight and raising her hands to wave them dismissively. The only emotion fueling her is embarrassment, clearly written all over her face as she tries to assuage the situation.

❝Um…! I-I was just… practicing…❞ She swallows her nerves. ❝Sorry, I didn't think anyone else was around. If I'm bothering you, I can stop…❞
