Khiimori Khan of the Jogos Nghai

In ASOMAM, Leiko's father is Great Khan of the Jogos Nghai. Staunch and a valiant warrior and conqueror, Khiimori sired many children with his numerous wives, and also had an on and off rivalry with Kahl Drogo. Despite being a conqueror, Khiimori is also a man of honor to his affiliations, and even he agreed Wenwu is horrible even by conqueror ruler standards ( similarly with Khal Drogo )
Khiimori means ' wind horse ' in Mongolian and he is also inspired by Genghis Khan, Ogodei Khan and Kublai Khan
Sarangerel Khatun

The biological mother of Princess Leiko. She sired 10 children ( 4 sons and 6 daughters ) with her husband Khiimori. Originally from a feudal herding tribe in Western Jogos Nghai, Her marriage to Khiimori also help unite many Jogs Nghai tribal Realms. Seemingly gentle and decorous, she is usually soft spoken yet is more cunning than one may meet the eye
Sarangerel means ' moon beam ' in Mongolian, and Leiko has 2 older brothers, 2 younger brothers and 5 younger sisters in ASOMAM ( making her thr third of 10 full siblings ).
Sarangerel is also inspired by Empress Borte
Empress Ying Nan of Yi Ti

In ASOMAM, Ying Nan's marriage to her husband, the seemingly merry and valiant Langgan Emperor of Yi Ti, helped unite many city states in Yi Ti. She and her younger sister Ying Li ( biological mother of Shang Chi and Xialing ) originally came from a powerful feudal clan in the Jade Hills of Yi Ti.
Decorous and diplomatic, Ying Nan becomes a mentor to Shang Chi and Katy Chen in teaching them the ropes of Yi Tish court matters. She also has 7 children ( 4 sons and 3 daughters ) with the Langgan Emperor

relationship chart for my main characters (didn't include Qeeo cause she's vibing on her own with her hubbie and their space dog).
long explanation coming so it's below the cut.
Nuri and Mai - are Master and Padawan (until Nuri was knighted). They got off on a rocky start - Mai was very cold and emotionless and Nuri had trust issues regarding people trying to tell her how to control her powers or what to do with them. However, after they crash landed on a planet and had to work together to survive, they gained a real respect for each other. Which eventually grew into mutual familial love. They just loved each other so fucking much. And then Mai sacrificed herself on Ziost so Nuri could escape and that scarred Nuri for years yay! Mai and Leiko - very much a 'let's adopt this wet dog' vibes. Leiko has a complicated relationship with his parents and with mentor figures in general, but Mai proved she wasn't like the others. Leiko really looked up to her and Mai loved him like he was her own.
Leiko and Rin - GOD. Okay. They're twins, they grew up together, trauma-bonded a shit ton, protected each other, had a very co-dependent relationship. And then Leiko got brainwashed and was ordered to kill Rin to get rid of his weakness. Leiko did nearly kill her, attacking her in the middle of the night, but he resisted the brainwashing long enough for her to fight back. Rin didn't know he was brainwashed so she just thought that her sibling had been her enemy this whole time. Long story short, Leiko escaped, joined the Jedi, got rid of his brainwashing, while Rin did her own thing in the Empire, heartbroken and lost. Rin found out about Leiko joining the Order and decided to hunt him down and make him pay. They fought, Rin nearly killed Leiko but then she found out he was brainwashed and 'forgave' him. I use that word sparingly cause she was still pissed but she realised it wasn't his fault. Eventually, they repair their relationship in full, but because they were apart for so long, they're not nearly as codependent and have actually become more mature people because of it.
Rin and Varn'ya - they are the guard/protectee trope. Just, so much fucking devotion. They love each other. They're gay. Enough said.
Varn'ya and Nuri - They're chill.
Nuri and Natila - They're also chill, but have the added thing of their shared love for Mai and eventually, their shared grief. They care about each other a lot and definitely needed each other after Mai's death.
Mai and Natila - Tragic sapphics, childhood friends to lovers to not speaking to hesitant allies to lovers to one of you died. You guys know the drill. They hurt me.
Nuri and Leiko - star crossed lovers! Accidentally forged a Force bond during their first fight, then Leiko escaped to the Jedi after nearly killing Rin and they became friends. And eventually lovers. Battle couple, I would kill for you, I would live for you vibes.
Rin and Nuri - Complicated. Rin didn't know the full picture of Leiko's brainwashing, etc, so she thought Nuri somehow tricked Leiko or did something to him to bring him over to the Order. Rin pretty much hated Nuri for a while there. But THEN, she saw a recording of Nuri and Leiko on a mission together and saw how much Leiko clearly cared for Nuri. Later, Nuri got captured by the Sith and was tortured. Rin found out and helped her escape, out of love for her sibling. They respect each other and eventually become friends.
Mai and Rin - their first interaction was a deadly lightsaber fight where Mai ended up cutting off Rin's arms, so their relationship didn't get off to a good start. They don't particularly like each other, but they have basic respect.
Natila and Leiko - they don't interact much, but they vibe.
Leiko and Varn'ya - enby/enby hostility. Varn'ya doesn't like Leiko for how he treated Rin (intentionally or no).
#oc: mai#oc: natila#oc: nuri#oc: leiko#oc: rin#oc: varn'ya#txt#making this chart i realised that most attempted murders have been aimed at leiko which is a bit unfortunate

Diabolik Lovers More, Blood - Sayo's Route: Dark Prologue

Sayo's Route Masterlist
((Okay so quick author's note. No, I'm not giving up on Tainted Eve. I've just got a bit of a writer's block with the story right now. But I really wanted to keep writing, so I thought it might be fun to write as if Sayo was in the More, Blood game. It's given me some inspiration.
Because of that, some scenarios are heavily inspired by scenes from the game and this prologue is one of them because obviously the first prologue of the game sets up the game. Others will have more original content.
Because this is game specific, I changed up Sayo's background a bit. In this universe, Sayo has never met Karlheinz before being brought to the Sakamaki manor, although his presence in her life is still the same, she just didn't know about it. She knows nothing about the Adam and Eve plan. Her friends also do not go to Ryoutei Academy due to the church she grew up in being in a nearby town, Sayo was forced to transfer schools when she moves.
Also I am aware Sayo is not using traditional honorifics like -san when speaking to the brothers. I've never used them in Tainted Eve but I never established that with her character, she picks and chooses who she uses honorifics with based on who she actually respects and how close she is with someone. Game CG is from the More, Blood prologue))
Monologue
A normal life That’s really all I wanted I guess normal wasn’t in the cards for me But escape is still possible I remind myself of this each day
-Sayo and the Sakamaki brothers are in the limousine on their way to school. Sayo is staring off into the distance, ignoring the others
Monologue
Half a year ago, I would have laughed in your face if someone told me I would be living in a mansion and riding to school in a limo with a bunch of rich boys, but unfortunately that was my reality now. I’m an orphan, abandoned by my parents as a baby. I was given to a church in the next town over from where I live now shortly after I was born. It was just a place to sleep and eat. My personality tended to conflict with the strict and pious nature of the church, but I tried to reign myself in the best I could to avoid the punishments the nuns liked to use against troublemakers. To their displeasure, I was out with friends more often than not instead. But they looked the other way for the most part since I was out of the way. I used to have friends. Leiko, Kisa, Emi, and Rena were my best friends. But ever since I had been forced to move here, I hadn’t been able to talk to them much. Half a year ago was when the church decided to get rid of me to solve their problem. Tougo Sakamaki, a politician and proprietor of the church, was seeking a prospective bride for his sons. I had done some digging, and apparently he had done this before. Tougo Sakamaki was also known as Karlheinz Sakamaki, the king of the vampires…and these prospective brides were also called sacrificial brides. Who knew if they all came from the church, but it was probably an easy way to snatch unwanted girls like me. And so, I was sent to live with his six sons-Shu, Reiji, Ayato, Laito, Kanato, and Subaru. It didn’t go over well. The dynamic in the household was chaotic for a while. I wasn’t the type to roll over and accept my new position as prey for six vampires. Normally this would have gotten me killed right away, but I had an interest in fighting and weapons. I always carried at least one pocket knife. I was quick to dodge and find my way out of sticky situations. That included hitting people away from me if need be. Of course vampires were stronger than me, and it only served to piss them off. However, Karlheinz actually witnessed one of these interactions right away. He thought it was amusing and decided I had a greater chance of surviving “the awakening”. So I’m still alive and we’ve learned to tolerate each other. They still attempt to take my blood, but they aren’t always successful. I’m good at slipping away, thankfully. I still manage to irritate them sometimes, but apparently none of them can say they truly hate me. After half a year, we had learned more about each other, even though I still keep a wall up to stop them from getting too close. They wish I would have a better attitude about this, considering I’m supposed to be a bride eventually. At least, that’s what they think. I have other ideas on the matter.
Subaru: Oi, Sayo. Are you spacing out?
Laito: Nfu~ Lost in thought again. Hey, I know you’re always thinking about me but-
Subaru: Enough of that. Oi, Sayo!
-Sayo glances over at Subaru
Sayo: Hm?
Kanato: You’re awfully inconsiderate…having the nerve to get lost in thought.
Sayo: Haah…Did you need something, Subaru?
Subaru: Not really…
-Sayo cocks an eyebrow at him
Sayo: Really?
-The car suddenly brakes
Sayo: Huh?!
Ayato: Woah?!
-The car begins to crash
Sayo: Shit…!
-Sayo’s vision fades to white. She is faced with a man she has never seen before, although feels as if she vaguely recognizes him.
?Karlheinz?: You have awakened, Eve.
Sayo: Huh?! Who the hell are you?!
?Karlheinz?: You are interested in knowing who I am?
Sayo: Obviously…and while you’re at it, where am I?
?Karlheinz?: Fufu..Eve is quite curious, aren’t you?
Sayo: My name isn’t Eve. Are you sure you have the right person?
?Karlheinz?: You have kept me waiting long enough. Even though the apple should have ripened naturally, it has rotted away instead…
Sayo: What are you ranting about? You sound crazy…
?Karlheinz?: What do you think caused it to rot away?
-Sayo simply stares, tired of his cryptidness
?Karlheinz?: You don’t know? The next time we meet, I am sure you will have a guess.
-The man fades away. When Sayo opens her eyes, the triplets are leaning over her. She is sitting on the ground, Laito keeping her upright. The other three brothers are standing nearby.
(Was I just hallucinating because of the car crash…? I must have hit my head…)
Sayo: W-What the hell…?
Ayato: Oi, Sayo!
Kanato: Geez…You’re awake.
Sayo: What the hell happened…?
Reiji: Good grief…I am surprised you of all people would pass out. We were talking about where the culprit of the accident has run off to. Pulling a hit and run like that….they sure have guts.
Ayato: Think a human is behind it?
Reiji: I doubt this is the work of a human. Our car was being driven by a familiar.
Laito: Hm…Then it would have to be someone from the Demon World, I suppose?
Subaru: I wouldn’t call this unusual. Our family has plenty of enemies.
Shu: Haah…This sucks.
Reiji: Either way, let’s go. The familiars can clean up the mess.
Sayo: Never really considered you guys would be attacked like this.
-Laito helps her stand
Sayo: Thanks, I guess.
Laito: No problem, Sayo-chan~ You can pay me back with a kiss~
-Sayo takes his hand, placing a kiss on his knuckles
Sayo: There, debt paid.
Laito: Aw~ That wasn’t a very fun spot.
Sayo: You’re lucky you got a kiss at all. Now are we going or what?
-Later on before school, Sayo is walking to class with the triplets
Ayato: It’s been a while since we’ve been directly attacked, right?
Sayo: Were you attacked a lot in the past?
Kanato: We’ve been targeted plenty of times before.
Sayo: Why’s that?
Laito: Nfu~ Because this world is full of fools? They’ll never stop trying to steal that man’s throne.
???: You there.
Ayato: Hah? Who the fuck are you?
???: Eh? Me? My name is Reinhart. I’m the school doctor.
Laito: Hm? That’s odd…I’m pretty sure it was a woman until now…
Reinhart: She is on maternity leave, so I am taking her place.
Laito: Hmm…I see.
Sayo: Haah…Chill out you two. Did you need something, sensei?
Reinhart: Right. Could you come with me? I would like to speak with you.
Sayo: Me?
Ayato: Oi, you bastard…The fuck are you planning?
Sayo: Ayato calm down! There’s nothing wrong with a teacher wanting to talk to a student. Why are you freaking out?
Reinhart: When I spotted you all earlier, I noticed you looked a little pale. I wanted to make sure you were alright.
Sayo: We got into a small car accident earlier but I’m just fine, sir.
Reinhart: If it was a car accident, you should let me take a look at you, just in case.
-Laito latches onto her arm
Laito: Let’s go to the infirmary, Sayo-chan~ That’s much better than listening to boring lectures.
Ayato: Laito, you jerk…! I won’t let you hog her.
Laito: I’m not doing that. Nfu~ I’m just skipping. Consider this a humble gift from Sayo-chan. Why don’t you two join us?
Kanato: Laito has a point. Let us go. Sensei, do you have an sweets?
Reinhart: ...Seems like you have a couple of ‘knights in shining armor’, huh?
Sayo: Honestly…Haah..I didn’t want to go in the first place! You guys are a pain!
-The group follow Reinhart to the infirmary. He performs a light physical exam on Sayo while asking a lot of questions, much to Sayo’s annoyance
Laito: How exactly were you able to judge her condition from far away, sensei?
Reinhart: Hm…Her aura, I suppose.
-Sayo cocks an eyebrow at him
Sayo: Aura? What does that have to do with health?
Reinhart: Hahaha. That’s just something I can see. This time it seems I was right since you did get into a car crash. It seems like you really are doing okay, though.
Laito: Hey, hey, sensei~ What color is her aura? Vibrant pink?
-Sayo shakes her head
Sayo: I highly doubt that. Pink doesn’t suit me.
Ayato: Well...you have a point.
Reinhart: Hahaha. It is a bit difficult to explain using colors…hers would be like a kaleidoscope, a color that shifts depending how you look at it. At first, you think there’s nothing there but when you begin to move it, you see that there are many colors and aspects to her you’ve never seen before.
Laito: Heh…?
Kanato: Hmph…I can’t insult her when you say it like that…
Sayo: That’s….certainly not what I expected, sensei.
Reinhart: Don’t mind me, that’s just the feeling I get. Well, how are you feeling?
Sayo: I’m just fine.
(We’ll just neglect to mention the hallucination. That will bring more problems I don’t need…)
Reinhart: I see. That’s good then.
Ayato: Oi, teach, offer us something to drink...maybe something to eat, too.
Reinhart: Oh my…Classes will resume shortly. You don’t want to be late.
Ayato: Huh?! What was that?
Laito: I’d love to stay a little longer, though. Come on, Sayo-chan, you should join me in this bed. It’ll be fun, you know~?
-Sayo shoots up from her chair, heading for the door
Sayo: Yeah, no. I’m going to class.
Kanato: I won’t go. Right, Teddy?
Reinhart: Come on, I’ll give you a candy.
Kanato: Heh. I see you are trying to bribe me. However, I’ll accept your puny candies.
Reinhart: Please drop by anytime you need.
-The group leaves the infirmary
Laito: Don’t you think he was a little suspicious?
Ayato: You have a point…
Sayo: What about him was suspicious, exactly…? Seemed like a normal teacher to me. Although a little quirky.
Kanato: That’s not it! He…must be fond of you…
Laito: Nfu~ So we all thought so.
Sayo: Ahaha! Do you know how ridiculous that sounds? You guys are definitely imagining things.
Ayato: It was so obvious! You’re too damn cheeky, Sayo!
(They’re pretty worked up….This probably won’t turn out well. Better make a break for it before things get any worse.)
Sayo: We’re going to be late for class!
-Sayo runs away down the hall
Ayato: Oi! Wait, dammit!
Laito: Aw~ Ditched again~
-After school, Sayo is in the garden, taking out the trash to finish her cleaning duty
?Ruki?: Is it really okay for livestock to leave its master’s side and wander around like you are?
-Sayo turns to look, at first not realizing he was speaking to her. She glares once she realizes he’s looking straight at her
Sayo: Excuse me? Are you talking to me?
?Yuma?: Of course we’re talkin’ to you! Fuck off with that shit!
?Azusa?: We can finally…talk to you…Eve…
(Eve…? Where have I heard that before? That hallucination…?)
?Kou?: Hey, hey~ No need to be so frightened, M-neko-chan~
Sayo: What did you just call me?! Besides, you’ve got the wrong person. My name isn’t Eve.
-Sayo tries to walk away but ?Yuma? steps in front of her
?Yuma?: Hold on.
-?Yuma? grabs her before she can go around him. She struggles to get out of his grip
Sayo: Hey! Get off dammit!
?Yuma?: Tch! Stop struggling…fuck…you stupid sow…!
Sayo: Excuse me?! What the fuck is wrong with you guys?!
-She struggles harder, making it very difficult for ?Yuma? to restrain her. ?Ruki? gets up in her face in an attempt to get a good look at her
?Ruki?: This livestock won’t hesitate to bare her teeth at her master. And you are strong willed. I fear this will not turn out well.
Sayo: If you don’t let me go I swear to god…! I don’t even know who the fuck you guys are!
Ruki: Hmph. I am Ruki Mukami. And the guy who is trying to make you behave is…
Yuma: The name’s Yuma.
Kou: I’m Kou! Nice to meet you!
Azusa: Azusa…Haah…
Sayo: That’s great. Now let go, Yuma Mukami! Why the hell did you grab me?!
Kou: Fufu…We’re transfer students, you see~
Sayo: What about it?
Ruki: Is that how you talk to your seniors? Aren’t you being disrespectful?
-Sayo glares with a small smirk
Sayo: Oh, I’m sorry. As your respectful underclassman, shall I offer you a tour? If I do that will you let go?!
Kou: Feisty~
Shu: Sayo…What are you guys doing to her?
Sayo: Shu…
Shu: I can tell you things won’t be pleasant if you torment her any longer…so will you let go of her?
Ruki: Hmph…Oi, Yuma.
Yuma: Tch, fine.
-Yuma pushes her towards Shu
Yuma: Scram!
-They can all see from Sayo’s expression that she is livid. Shu knows he needs to end this before she blows up on them, if she hadn’t already
Shu: It isn’t like you to cause trouble…
-Sayo rolls her eyes as Reiji walks up to the group
Reiji: What is all this commotion? ...hm? You all…
Ruki: Let’s go.
Azusa: Eve…I’ll see you soon, okay…?
Kou: Bye, bye~
Yuma: Tch…This pisses me off…
Sayo: It pisses you off…?! I’m the one who’s pissed…!
Subaru: Oi, the fuck happened?
Laito: What’s this? Did something happen?
Ayato: We passed by some new people…
-They all turn to Sayo, looking for answers
Sayo: God if I know! Those guys just waltzed up to me saying all this weird shit! And then that tall one grabbed me and wouldn’t fucking let go. Luckily Shu came or I would have pulled my damn knife on them.
Ayato: Next time, I’ll crush them!
Kanato: Their scent…
Subaru: It reeks…
Reiji: I see…
Sayo: What is it?
Reiji: We’re all here now, so let us head home. The car is waiting.
Sayo: Let me go grab my things.
Reiji: A familiar will fetch it for you.
Sayo: Sure…
(Why is he in such a hurry…? Is it because of what just happened?)
-Later on in the limousine
Subaru: The crash earlier…Don’t you think those guys could have done it?
Kanato: Probably…
Sayo: So you think those guys are vampires?
Laito: From their scent, they aren’t pureblood vampires.
Sayo: You can tell as much by their scent?
Laito: That’s right…nfu~
Shu: Those guys…are they attending school now…?
Sayo: They told me they’re transfer students.
Shu: Haah…and it seems like they’ve got their eye on you.
Laito: Nfu~ Shu, are you jealous? You aren’t very relaxed, you know?
Shu: Shut up…The fact you even think of bringing up jealousy says more about you than me…you fake pervert.
Sayo: Fake…? Pretty sure he’s the real deal…
Laito: ....Do you want to die~?
Shu: Hmph…go ahead and try?
Monologue
I resisted the urge to sigh. The atmosphere was too oppressive now. I glanced out the window, trying my best to ignore everyone. It would be best to take a bath and go to bed early. That way, I wouldn’t have to deal with them.
-The next day, Sayo is getting ready for school when she hears a knock on her door
Sayo: Yes?
-Reiji enters the room
Reiji: Good morning.
Sayo: Good morning, Reiji. Is something wrong?
Reiji: There is something I would like to talk about before we head to school. I have to rouse the others, but if you are ready, please meet me in the living room.
Sayo: Sure. I’ll head down in a moment.
Reiji: Thank you.
-Reiji leaves, shutting the door behind him. Sayo finishes getting ready before going down to the living room. Shu is sleeping on one of the couches. One after the other, the brothers filter in
(Subaru, Kanato, and Ayato look like they might as well still be asleep. And of course Shu is still sleeping. The others don’t look much better for that matter…)
-Reiji comes in with a pot of tea, giving each of them a cup
Reiji: I’ve brewed a tea to combat exhaustion for everyone to drink. Subaru, wake up!
Subaru: Hah…
-Sayo resists the urge to laugh
(He was seriously sleeping while standing…)
Reiji: The reason why I’ve had you all gathered here is obviously about yesterday’s accident and that group of vampires.
Laito: Ah. That, is it?
Reiji: Yesterday’s accident was most likely caused by them.
Kanato: It would be impossible for anyone without similar powers…...so you gathered us here just to talk about them…?
Reiji: That is not all.
(Where is he going with this…?)
Reiji: I would like to ask everyone’s opinion on their target.
Subaru: Ah? Target…? Haven’t they come to murder us?
Ayato: Yeah…exactly. It’s ‘cause that shitty old man…geez…
Sayo: I’m assuming you mean your father. Just what kind of person is that guy?
Reiji: Well, it is off topic but I will tell you. Our father has been the head of the vampires for over 2000 years.
Sayo: Seriously? That long?
Laito: His speech is totally old fashioned. His words reek of mold.
Shu: Well…He is a pain in the ass…
Kanato: Our Father is also a shapeshifter. He can turn into anything…
Ayato: He’ll show up with a different appearance sometimes. Even we don’t know what he really looks like.
Reiji: He is shrouded in mystery.
Sayo: Well then…
Reiji: You lot, we’re returning to the previous topic. About those guys’ target.
Kanato: To destroy our household?
Reiji: I think their true motive may lay elsewhere.
Ayato: Aah? What do you mean?
Laito: Nfu~ It’s Sayo-chan, isn’t it?
Sayo: ...huh?
Reiji: Haah…Laito, when it comes to women, you always become very sharp, don’t you?
Laito: Can I take that as a compliment?
Reiji: I am disappointed in you…I do believe you are right though.
Sayo: You’ve got to be kidding me…There’s no way.
Reiji: You were confronted by them yesterday, isn’t that right?
Sayo: I guess…Could have just been to take a jab at you guys, though.
Reiji: I considered that myself. However…if it were us they were after, they could have done so before now.
Subaru: This never happened before you showed up…
Shu: Well…that’s true.
Sayo: There are other explanations for this. Like they just moved here and are getting territorial, for example?
Reiji: I am fairly certain it is you they are after.
Sayo: What reason could they have for that, though?
Kanato: Your blood is the most obvious reason…right, Teddy? You do give off such a delicious scent.
Ayato: Your looks aren’t bad either. But your blood is top quality.
-She rolls her eyes with a sigh
Subaru: What are we gonna do?
Reiji: What is it you want to do?
Subaru: Without you, we won’t have blood. You should stay, Sayo.
(He says that as if I give them much blood to begin with…Oh well.)
Laito: Nfu…Agreed~ Well, I can still enjoy whatever they might do to you, but I won’t let them take you.
Ayato: Your blood belongs to me, right, Sayo?
Kanato: It is mine as well so don’t decide that by yourself.
Laito: What about you, Reiji? What would you do if some other guy tried to steal her?
Reiji: It should be obvious that I do not let others steal my possessions.
(Even Reiji is being possessive? What the hell? This is getting creepier by the second…And again, it’s not like I give them blood all that often in the first place!)
Laito: Oh? I didn’t expect that from you. What about you, Shu?
Shu: Aah…Well…I pretty much agree with you guys…Those guys piss me off…
Ayato: Sayo, don’t you agree?
Sayo: Hearing you guys act so possessive is actually a bit annoying but those guys piss me off so I didn’t intend on getting anywhere near them in the first place.
Ayato: Then we crush them, right?
Reiji: Wait a minute. Is that your only solution?
Ayato: Aah?! Then what do you think we should do?
Reiji: For starters, don’t you think you’ll be playing right into their hands?
Kanato: Their hands?
Reiji: They approached her yesterday to agitate us. If we pick a fight with them, they’ll use that opportunity to take her away.
Subaru: …So what are we gonna do?
Reiji: For now, we have no other choice. We have to watch over her.
Sayo and Subaru: “Huh?!”
Subaru: Lame! The fuck…
Sayo: Yeah! I don’t need a babysitter!
Ayato: Shit…! Having to go through all this trouble…
(And yet he looks like he’s accepted it…?!)
Laito: In that case, I’ll keep a close eye on you every second of the day~
-Sayo glares at him
Sayo: No way in hell.
Shu: I have a suggestion. One of us will watch her…that way it’s that person’s fault if she’s caught.
Reiji: I don’t like how the good for nothing suggested it, but it is the most logical solution to this problem.
Shu: Oi, Sayo. Pick one of us. Hurry up so they stop fighting.
Reiji: The person she chooses will take responsibility and watch her from today onwards. Is that clear?
Sayo: Hell no! Like I said, I don’t want a babysitter! I can take care of myself!
Shu: Don’t you remember how you were caught by that tall one yesterday?
Sayo: He caught me off guard. That won’t happen again.
Reiji: We aren’t taking any chances. If you refuse to choose, we will choose instead.
Sayo: Why can’t any of you just respect my decision?!
Subaru: Maybe we could if you were considering your safety more.
Sayo: You don’t even want to do this, Subaru!
Reiji: Well?
Shu: If she doesn’t choose, let’s just pull lots or something so there are no arguments.
-Sayo glares, remaining silent
(I won’t budge on this. I do not want a babysitter. It doesn’t matter that there are new vampires going to our school. We don’t even know for sure that I’m their target.)
(Yeah, Yuma grabbed me yesterday but now that I know who they are and that they’re vampires, I’ll be more careful. I don’t need one of the brothers following me around every moment of every day.)
Reiji: Haah…Fine. Lots it is. Why must you be so stubborn? Don’t complain if you get stuck with someone less than favorable.
Sayo: I could say the same to you guys. I hope you know I’m not cooperating with this.
-Sayo watches in silence as the brothers draw lots. After a moment, one of them lets out a victorious chuckle
Laito: Nfu~Looks like I get to watch over you, Sayo-chan~
Sayo: Jesus christ…
-Reiji stops himself from chuckling since this was what he meant. It would have been better for her to choose him or Subaru since she got along with them best but now she was stuck with Laito
Subaru: Shouldn’t have been so stubborn…
Sayo: This is absolutely ridiculous…We don’t know if those guys are even after me…
-Sayo grabs her bag, storming out of the room
Ayato: Are you sure this is fine…?
Reiji: Haah…For now at least. We can reevaluate if we have to. Do not go overboard, Laito.
Laito: Nfu~ I would never.
Reiji: Haah...I have a feeling this isn't going to go well...

gojo: i dont want to put in danger my baby/his baby mama
also gojo: let’s emotionally distress - pregnant - reader instead
🥴🥴
also gojo has known leiko has been interested in him for a while, does he not find it fishy that she wants to rub it on reader’s face their “relationship”…like imagine the stress reader is going to go through, THAT can really arm the pregnancy more than geto 🫠🫠 and then what gojo?
liked the chapter :)
ps. imagine if reader’s parents pay a visit to her and find out not only they are not longer a couple but he’s with leiko…after gojo make that promise to reader’s father 😬
oh gojo definitely knows Leiko wants to rub it in reader's face but he's doing whatever she wants so they "date", but he definitely thinks that Getou is more dangerous than whatever emotional effects this may have.
Thank you for reading!
Also, if reader's father finds out about anything, he'd definitely try to shoot Gojo

Controversy [edit]
The lesbian characters of Leiko and Duffy caused the series to be controversial among anti-LGBT crowds. In May 2023, the Governor of Oklahoma, Kevin Stitt, vetoed a measure to provide state funding to Oklahoma Educational Television Authority for three years, due to their broadcasting of Work It Out Wombats! (and of Clifford the Big Red Dog (2019 TV series), which also features same-sex parents) and the claims that it "overly sexualizing" kids.[28] The characters in questions are adults.

Gunnar Exiled
Gunnar had to prepare to talk to the wolves. None of them even had a clue that he spent the last year befriending and falling in love with a rogue wolf. They had no clue that he found his mate, welcomed a child as his own, and was having a baby. Because he was pack, his biological child would be. Because she was his mate, Reese should be. But he knew that he lied to his pack, his family, and they didn’t have to follow customs. Because of his unknown parentage, he was always been seen as a little different from everyone. Now he made made himself even more different.
A week after Reese and Gunnar learned they were having two babies, not just one, Gunnar knew he couldn't put off talking to the wolves. He'd lied to them for a year and a half, kept his friendship with Reese a secret, then his love for her, and certainly the mating bond. But now he had two additional children on the way, and they deserved to have a pack, not to be a secret any longer.
Gunnar asked for a meeting with the heads of their pack, and he met them in the Wildfangs bunker a few days later. He hadn't slept here in months, and nobody seemed to notice. But now the alpha stared at him in confusion as Gunnar was the last to arrive.
He joined the alpha at the table, nodding hello to his second and his granddaughter who was next in line to lead. Gunnar didn't get a word out before the door opened and Roman Weller walked though -- the wolf promised to the alpha's granddaughter. He was also one of Gunnar's best friends.
Roman held back a smile when he saw the formalities. Instead he found a corner to lean against, watching his betrothed and her grandfather motion Gunnar along.
Gunnar said the truth of it first. "I'm going to be a father," he told his alpha, Fen, and the heir, Rory.
Fenris stared, thick eyebrows pulling in as he sized Gunnar up. He showed none of the shock that Rory, Roman, and Fen's second-in-command displayed behind him. Despite his stone-face, Gunnar knew Fen was caught off guard.
"Who have you been seeing?" Fen asked, the question getting into the depth of the hierarchies. Some wolves, like Roman and Rory, were promised to each other since childhood because of bloodlines and pacts. So it was only natural for Fenris to assume -- because Gunnar kept his behavior a secret -- that it was likely someone a rank above him.
Gunnar spent years and years working himself up the ladder, becoming useful, then indispensable to the pack. Roman was poised to lead someday at Rory's side, and Gunnar was his right hand. His second.
"You don't know her," Gunnar answered.
Fen's eyes flashed, and he was up from his seat instantly. He grabbed Gunnar and shoved him back, taking both of them into the railing that separated the split-levels. Roman, Rory, and Connall (Fen's second) darted after the alpha. Connall pulled Fenris back while Roman stepped between and stood ahead of Gunnar.
"You would betray us by breeding with that Moonwood scum?" Fen howled after him as Connall divided them. "You would follow in your mother's footsteps, Leikos? Bring us another mutt to raise?"
Gunnar's veins turned to ice as the alpha's words sunk in. Fen's first thought hadn't been to Reese, the lone wolf he'd ordered them all to stay a way from over a year ago. His first thoughts went to Gunnar's mother who dishonored her family, her parents, and the pack by procreating with an outsider.
She brought Gunnar back and never explained his parentage. It created a dynamic in the pack, where people loved the rambunctious, well-behaved little wolfling, but feared that he'd have no pack loyalty, that he'd never really be one of them.
Gunnar spent his whole life trying to prove he was one of them, and now his alpha looked at him with disgust, seeing only his prejudice and Gunnar's mother's mistakes.
"I met my mate," Gunnar growled at Fenris, shoving Roman off of him and putting space between himself and Rory. She watched on with big eyes, calculating and quiet.
Roman stared after him, stunned. "Your what?"
"Mate," Gunnar reiterated with a hiss.
"An outsider," Fen spat. "A Moonwood wolf."
"No, not Moonwood," Gunnar spat back. "Her name is Reese Geroux. She has no-"
Fen was stunned. "The bitten wolf?"
"She's not bitten," Gunnar corrected, buzzing. "Her father was, and he was left alone to die, so he had no pack."
"No wolf would change a man and leave him to die," Fenris argued. "Our lives are too few and our position too precarious to risk discovery by leaving an untrained wolf out alone."
"That's what she was told," Gunnar said. "She was raised among the humans and was forced to hide what she was. Her father lost control when she was child. He killed her mother and then himself.
"She came here looking for answers. She has a son. She came here for him, to better understand what he's going through so young. He's growing fast."
“We know about the boy.”
They knew because Gunnar told them, months ago before he ever crossed paths with Reese and Kelley. They'd sent him out to find out who this wolf was sniffing around, and he'd given them all the info he had, and then some.
Fenris ordered the pack never to acknowledge her, never expose themselves to an outsider, a lone wolf with no loyalty or affiliation. Gunnar didn't follow orders.
“You disobeyed me," Fen said darkly, sitting back down at the table after righting his chair. "You sought out the wolf and her child."
Gunnar was pained. “She’s my mate.”
The alpha met his eyes. “And now she’s having your child.”
"Fen," Gunnar started. "Alpha. I got close to find the information you asked for, but when I got close, it changed. I felt what she was the first time I found her in the woods. I couldn't change it, and I couldn't walk away from her, from the bond. It's deep."
"You lied," Fen said. "You hid this from us, your family, your pack. You've been cavorting with this liability for a year. How do you expect your pack to trust you?"
Gunnar grit his teeth. "I expect the pack to understand that there is no choice when it comes to a mating bond. I expect them to welcome my mate and my family in."
"Your family," Fen drawled, getting to his feet with fire in his eyes. "And you plan to bring her half-breed child too?"
Gunnar glared, unable to tame the ire in his tone. "He's my son," Gunnar growled. Kelley's biological father was not a wolf -- yet Kelley was. That made him all wolf, that made him all Gunnar's. Kelley belonged to him the way that Reese did, with that stake down deep in his gut.
He bristled at the way Fen referred to his family, his mate and child. His expression drew lazy, careless. "I do plan to bring him," he told his alpha, his tone level and dangerous. "And my mate, and my two unborn children."
Rory's gasp was loud in the tense quiet of the room. Werewolf multiples weren't any more common than human multiples, but werewolf births were sacred, revered, longed for. The pack rallied around its children.
"I have a mate," Gunnar stated, "and I have three children, and through me, they're part of this pack."
"You don't get to decide who's part of this pack!" Fenris exploded up to his feet. "We do not answer to you, Leikos. You are not owed anything. You will not make demands of me or this pack."
Gunnar glared, ripping himself away. “I’ve been loyal to this pack my entire life, but they are my family! They are my blood. You cannot expect me to go on in this pack without them.”
The alpha bristled. “Then you will go on without the pack.”
Roman moved forward, but the alpha's glare -- the command in it -- stopped him short. Rory crept to his side to stay him as well, and that let Gunnar standing alone, staring down a choice. He was the pack. He spent his life becoming useful, irreplaceable. The pack looked up and saw him at Roman's side.
He could never simply walk away from the pack.
But it wasn't simple. And it wasn't a choice. Reese was in him, deep in his gut, anchored in his bones. He could no easier walk away than he could rip his own insides out. Being forced out of the pack was painful and raw and it took his breath away, but being forced away from Reese would make him want to die. It would be excruciating.
No one could reject a mating bond.
Fenris knew that.
He didn't even wait for Gunnar to vocalize his answer before he ordered everyone away. He didn't have to tell Gunnar to get his things and leave -- Gunnar's belongings were already at home, where he belonged more than he belonged with this pack.
Roman tried to meet his eye as Gunnar left, but Gunnar wanted words and not apologetic looks. So he left without saying anything to the man who had been his other half until he met Reese.

I plan on updating some of these, but for now here's an updated character sheet for Heartache. ♡━━━♡━━━♡━━━♡━━━♡ The protagonist in Heartache would be a young man/woman named Rin, who runs into the love interest at a library and how the story progresses and if a relationship is formed depends on the player's choices. ♡━━━♡━━━♡ ♡The main setting of Heartache would have been a university in a small town. ♡The university would have been founded by someone who was inspired by more western ones. By the time the game's storyline begins, it had only been open for about a year or two. ♡The yandere route heavily relied on the protagonist being close to they mother, Myou. The yandere route would have been the most difficult to go through. ♡The "True love" ending would have involved friending the little sister of the love interest (Jun), the childhood friend (Ayura), and the new friend Leiko. They would help Rin confess to Eri/Akio. ♡The idea for Heartache was to explore the idea of a yandere character, with the only character to explicitly fall into this trope being Myou. It was not meant to show the anime trope in a positive light. ♡━━━♡━━━♡━━━♡━━━♡ ♡??? and Myou are Rin's parents ♡Erina is a nurse in training who interns at the university. ♡Aimi is Rin's paternal aunt. ♡Risa is the late mother of Eri/Akio and Jun. ♡Ayaso is the sister of Risa. ♡Meiko and Chiemi are the daughters of Ayaso. ♡Akane and Aoi are sisters, twins to be exact. ♡Koto is heavily influenced by the delinquent type. ♡Hino and Minori are brothers. ♡━━━♡━━━♡

Long ass thread
OC reference and lore part 1/2
So here on tumblr I haven’t introduced any of my OC’s yet, but I recently made references sheets so I might as well introduce them all.
These are all going to be on separate posts because doing all at once will be too long to me.
(Lore about all of them in thread)
First of all I should clarify that within this universe these species exists.
1. Humans, 2. Aliens, 3. Elves. 4. Mermaids, 5. Demons, 6. Angels, 7. Gods
(1-4 are common and usually live on Earth or on other planets within space, 5-7 are not common and live on separate realms of their own).
These four are who I call my main four OC’s
1. Yoru Ahyma
Yoru is the main protagonist. They go by they/them pronouns, is genderless and are a lesbian. They are the odd one out because they are the only demon that lives on earth which makes them feel isolated. The truth though is that while they seem like a demon, in reality, they are the descendant of one of the 6 Gods of the world which is the God of Reality (I don’t have a name for the God yet though lmao), This also means they are also an angel but prefer to be a demon. They were born into a human family called the Ahymas (a family of terrorists). Their parents didn’t take it too kindly that Yoru is a demon and thus neglect and belittle them, making Yoru in the future disown them and using their abilities to stopping terrorists groups (while also running their own casino). Their most iconic weapon are the Chaos cubes which Yoru can use for any reason they want to.
2. Akari (Ahyma) Suzuki
Akari is Yoru’s wife. She is sapphic, a trans woman and goes by she/her. She is an alien princess who comes from the planet Zuthara. Her being trans actually plays a big role in who she is and why she is on Earth in the first place. See in Alien society, it’s the woman who always becomes the leader of the planet since in their culture, since she can bear children, she is considered God-like. The men are usually task to protecting the women and children in society. Akari only has one sibling and that’s her younger sister Hoshi Suzuki. When she was male she was set to be the leader of the army while her sister ruled. However when she started questioning her gender and came to the conclusion she wanted to be a girl, she knew the consequence of that was potentially snatching away Hoshi’s role as ruler which she has been working hard for. So she leaves her planet secretly and comes down to Earth, starting over as a woman. There she met Yoru and was the first few people to accept Yoru and vice versa. They then eventually fell in love and got married. Male aliens can summon swords by pulling them out their back and Akari still has that ability.
3. Leiko Ahyma
Leiko is Yoru’s older sister. She is pansexual and goes by she/they pronouns. She is the only family member of Yoru’s that accepts her demon form and the only one Yoru still sees as family and has contact with. Leiko currently runs a small nightly business as an inventor and engineer in Japan. One of her biggest achievements is building a self aware and feeling robot named XANDRA (I haven’t designed her yet either but she is coming).
4. Niko (Ahyma) Nakano
Niko is Leiko’s wife and Yoru’s sister in law. She is lesbian, demisexual and goes by she/her pronouns. She is an elf who was curious of the city life, since elves’ homes are typically in forests. She now lives in Japan and works with Leiko as a mechanic on projects. Her and Yoru’s dynamic is sister-like yet Niko is also very cautious about how Yoru acts sometimes.
Here are Yoru’s Demon form, Akari’s Alien form and Niko’s elf form.

PERSONALITY Personality Type: ENTP-A [Assertive Debater] Temperament: Choleric-Sanguine Alignment: Chaotic Good Clever | Self-Assured | Driven | Arrogant | Spiteful
Aristocratic in both upbringing and nature, Leiko likes to carry herself with regality. Her confidence and well-honed charm makes her a popular figure among her school peers, even though she keeps everyone at a cool arm's length. Her social aloofness leaves her with little to no close friends, which she figures is just as well, since she finds friends to be a waste of time.
Around others in the heroic scene, Leiko allows herself to show off. She’s known for her theatrical and flamboyant attitude, topped with a haughtiness she cares little to subdue. She’s assertive, witty, and adores a challenge. She lets this completely unfurl as the vain and dramatic Kitsune, who views the world as her stage and anyone watching her audience.
Leiko struggles with unlearning a deep-seated cynicism against others and is often skeptical of actions claimed to be done out of good will, which clashes with the ethics of heroism. Her grasp on empathy leaves much to be desired as well; she can be condescending, sharp, and impatient when the situation calls for exactly the opposite.
Still, steadily Leiko finds herself learning humility, trust, and care from her teammates, along the way forming friendships no Swiss bank account could buy.
ABILITIES AND WEAKNESSES
Powers and Abilities:
Physiology:
Lei doesn’t possess a human soul, but of that of her namesake, a kitsune. Her “soul” is instead a Hoshi no Tama, usually referred to as her soul bead. It is a fist-sized pearl that resides within her body. This is the source of her magic as well as her heightened physical attributes.
Enhanced Senses: Lei demonstrates fox-like senses. She sees just as well at night as she does during the day, hears better than a normal human, and has a better sense of smell. This doubles in the supernatural side, she can see, hear, and smell beyond the mortal plane.
Enhanced Physiology: Lei exhibits above-average speed, strength, endurance and rarely if ever comes down with diseases, viruses and the like.
Onmyodo: A traditional Japanese occultism
Illusion Magic: Lei’s strongest suit is her hold over illusion spells. Using a variety of paper charms, mirrors, physical cues, written and verbal spells, she's able to create confusion over her opponent. These illusions range from visual to audial, making it difficult to rely on one's own senses. Her illusions are often grandiose, jarringly colorful, with nods to the overall aesthetic influence of traditional Japanese art forms. In turn makes her relatively immune to similar tactics.
Barriers: Can alternately use barriers as a sort of defense or a barring mechanism. Barriers set up by paper charms are stronger and more durable than barriers set by simple verbal spells, however combining both techniques grants the best results.
Pyrokinesis: Lei’s kitsunebi is a mystic fire she can conjure in the form of pillars and spheres. Notably different to “mortal” flame, as it burns exclusively supernatural/otherworldly beings, but brings the sensation of weakness and illness to the human body.
Weapons and Inventory:
Enchanted Parasol:
Kit’s go-to weapon. By reaching over her shoulder, the same way one would unsheath a sword, her oil paper parasol materializes into her hand in a burst of flame. It serves both as a defensive and offensive tool.
Closed: While in her hands it doesn’t appear to weigh any more than a regular parasol, in combat it carries an inexplicable weight, able to break concrete. She uses it as a melee weapon, much like a bat or a club. Kit also uses it as a makeshift wand/staff, for bigger and more complex spells. And a favorite stun tactic of hers is to mimic pumping the action to a shotgun, aiming her parasol and “firing” it. It creates a momentary illusion of being “shot” to whomever her target may have been.
Open: Popping it open creates a quick-time personal shield, able to deflect various attacks and withstand a fair amount of explosive power. Ducking behind it obscures her from her opponent and she uses this window of time to work up a spell. Spinning the canopy of her parasol causes momentary dizziness. When jumping off of highland, the parasol allows Kit to glide for long distances (the amount of time and smoothness of the glide suffers when another person is in tow).
Ofuda: These paper charms can be used as delayed “bombs” affected by sticking them into walls, either simply timed or activated by touch. They also serve for warding spells. Gohei: A summoned short wand with a decorative paper trail, the length of the trail stretches during use. Lei uses it as a sort of weaponized gymnast ribbon, or a whip. Most effective against intaginable objects or enemies. Balance Charm: With Scribe's help and after many mishaps, Kit wears a beaded charm around her ankle which enables her limited enhanced movement. She appears to glide along, unweighted, making her movements seem feather light. It helps slow or cushion short distance falls and balance on unprobable surfaces. May also explain how she manages to fight in heels. Spellbook: Kit carries a small notebook with variant spells written herself for safe-keeping and for a quick reference check. Mirrors: Kit holds a small, two-faced mirror. The mirror serves to see through glamour illusions or create more intricate illusions of her own; more often than not, she uses it to admire a makeup job well done. Purification Salt: Ghosts in particular are vulnerable to salt, circles of it makes areas inaccessible to them. Calligraphy Set: A horse-hair brush, inkwell and a small stash of paper for written spells
Limitations and Weaknesses:
Water and Aquatic Environments: As host of a fire kitsune, Kitsune’s main and biggest weakness is water. Being around areas with large amounts of water dampens the potency of her magic, being doused in it cuts off completely until she dries off. While her parasol helps repel rain and small splashes, it can only do so much. The water effect includes any type, Lei incapacitaed by things such as baths and showers as well until she properly dries herself off.
Cynophobia: Lei’s “unprompted” fear of dogs, or really any sort of canine that aren’t foxes, can be traced back to Japanese folklore. Dogs were considered enemies of foxes, being used to hunt them down. People accused of being possessed by, or being kitsune, were sometimes forced to be licked head to toe by dogs in order to expel the demon to it’s true form. Dogs make Lei largely uncomfortable at best, aggressive dogs will either send her into a state of frozen terror or at worst, unabashed panic.
HISTORY [TRIGGER WARNING: SEXUAL HARASSMENT]
The only child of Ryuu Ara, a successful luxury hotel chain owner and president, Leiko grew up with the world served to her on a silver platter. She enrolled in the best schools, excelling in academics, popularity, and was starting to make headway as a teen model. Leiko formed into a pretty, precocious, if pretentious, girl.
At age 14, after wrapping up a student council meeting afterschool, the student body president forced her into a corner when she’d turned him down for a date. The boy grew increasingly aggressive, but was stopped from going beyond grasping at her blazer when a brilliant white flame unfurled from Leiko’s hands. She fled the second she found an opening, calling for help until she caught the attention of school security. The boy was found unconscious, but physically unharmed. (She would later find out, he complained of sudden illness and a downslide of rotten luck, with little to no memory on how he’d been knocked cold.)
Ryuu spared no expense on making sure justice was properly handed out, although that was simple when compared to the news Leiko gave him about her new ability to conjure flame. But he’d taken the revelation far easier than Leiko thought he would. Ryuu admitted it was something he’d been somewhat expecting, even dreading.
Leiko’s mother was something of a taboo subject. Outside of knowing her name was Cho (Ryuu never mentioned her maiden name) and that there had been an ugly divorce shortly after Leiko was born, she didn’t know much else. Even then, her father didn’t go into specifics beyond blaming Cho for Leiko’s newly discovered “peculiarity.” Ryuu ultimately decided it was best for Leiko to pretend she hadn’t discovered it. She had a bright future ahead of her as his heir and it wouldn’t be marred by her mother’s blood. Leiko obeyed despite her protests. They’d both come to realize, however, fire was just the beginning.
Over the following weeks, more abilities came to emerge, from heightened senses to supernatural awareness. She struggled under the pressure of maintaining the semblance of being normal. The weight of stress and desperation finally proved too much for Leiko, leading to a discussion gone sour, ending only when she noticed Ryuu backing away from the looming shadow of a four-tailed fox she cast on the wall. She would miss the following days of school when her eyes refused to revert back from their completely golden, slit-pupiled appearance.
Resigned, Ryuu took to looking into someone who could help Leiko with her magic troubles as this was beyond his reach.
That someone came to be a man by the name Scribe, a semi-public mystic who operated within New York. Scribe’s interest piqued at the mention of Leiko’s transformation and to the Ara’s slight relief, Scribe proved himself to be a sorcerer of true magic instead of a con-man looking for a quick buck. He’d confirmed their suspicions of Leiko being tied to the kitsune, fox spirits of Japanese lore, although he admitted he had little to no experience with said creatures.
Scribe refused to leave Leiko to sort things out on her own, however, and offered her a proposition. Scribe’s lifelong work dealt with a massive, mystical library he dubbed the Spiral, which housed knowledge from across space and time. Despite his years slaving away at discovering and archiving its secrets, progress was going at a crawl. He’d take Leiko under his wing, giving her access to whatever she could get her hands on and import what they couldn’t find from his various connections. In return, she’d take up being his personal assistant. Ryuu had been reluctant to let Leiko have a hands on approach and had made his dislike for Scribe apparent, but relented.
The world of magic was a far cry from the straight-laced, business-oriented life Leiko had grown in; it both terrified and fascinated her. Scribe, real name: Charles Mordichai Jenson (Charlie for short), proved to be an eccentric, but well-meaning guide where he could. As the two dove into research, Leiko let loose a sense of freedom and expression she stifled to fit her father’s expectations. Charlie was quick to help enable this. They were polar opposites in many ways, but Charlie saw a passion and potential in Leiko that mirrored his own at her age, and he fully intended to see it shine. It wasn’t long before Leiko wasn’t just checking inventory and jotting notes for both The Spiral and Jenson’s Comics (Charlie’s civilian pop culture store), but followed him out on relic retrievals and even the occasional “mystic field trip”. Charlie had been adamant on one thing when she stepped out of the safety of The Spiral however, much as he’d taken Scribe as his mantle, Leiko would have to make one of her own for the sake of her identity. It wasn’t a hard choice for her as it was practically staring her in the face, Kitsune took life. Over the next two years, Kitsune proved herself to be a capable magician despite being self-taught. Juggling her home, school and magic life was busy, but thrilling. Perhaps a little too thrilling. During an outing, Scribe and Kitsune were ambushed by a sorcerer named Felix Faust, who ultimately took Scribe prisoner. Well-aware of just how over her head she was, Kitsune went on a one-girl rescue mission to save her mentor anyway and was beyond relieved to find a young group of supers on the same trail.
The group, known simply as “The Team”, had been alerted of Scribe’s abduction through their resident mystic, Zatanna. Scribe had managed to send a distress signal before all communication cut off. Shoving down the twinge of jealousy that came with that revelation and of being out of the loop, Kitsune allied herself with the Team until Scribe was rescued. She was offered a permanent position on the Team, which she said she’d think over even though she had no interest in becoming a hero. She was more persuaded by the opposition placed by Scribe and the oddly genuine endearment shown by the Team’s speedster, Kid Flash.
Less than a few days later, an argument between Leiko and Charlie sparked by his confession of thinking she wasn’t right for the Team just yet sent her right to them out of spite.
Now taking a crash course in heroics, Kitsune tackles supercrime, training, self-reflection, team building and the frustrating, but integral importance of friendship.
NOTES
Kit has alternate versions of her Kitsune outfit and will switch between them mid-battle, either because she wasn’t feeling the one she was wearing, it got dirty, or a specific attack called for a wardrobe change
Because Lei’s brand of Onmyodo is largely “home-brew” given she’s self-taught, she incorporates other types of magic and styles to compensate
Lei has the passive ability of being ridiculously lucky, she never loses games of chance such as coin flips and dice rolls
The nickname ‘Lei’ was originally coined by Wally West and it’s a nickname she only allows within the perimeter of the Cave
Lei is proud of her musical skill, it’s not uncommon to hear her singing to herself and will shred an electric guitar when given the chance
She has a pet Bearded Dragon named Prince. Prince was a at-Death’s-door rescue surrendered to Charlie, who gave him to her after she helped nurse Prince back to health and she wound up attached to him
Lei’s father is unaware she’s taken up heroism, as far as Ryuu knows, she’s studying under Charlie to get her curiosity of magic out of her system

Okay so just imagining Shang Chi and Leiko's wedding in ASOMAM :
. So in ASOMAM, Shang Chi and Leiko are bethrothed in that late Feburary ( soon after that year's Yi Tish New Year celebrations aka Chinese new year in ASOIAF)
. The wedding date was set to early October that year ( ie Mid Autumn festival that year ), so there is much time to prepare for the wedding ( bethrothal periods in such setting can last between a few months to even a whole year )
. Amidst the war efforts against Wenwu, Leiko and Shang Chi had to help plan the wedding preparations
. It was through their bethrothal period that they gradually began to fall in love for real
. On the wedding day, everyone else at attendance was dressed to the nines
. Despite the ongoing war against Wenwu, the festivities are filled with joy and there are guards heavily guarding the wedding venue ( aka Yi Ti Imperial Palace )
. Shang Chi was dresses in a fancy Ming Dynasty style groom robe of red and gold, while Leiko wore a stunning Mongolian style wedding dress of red and gold
. The wedding has a mix of Chinese and Mongolian wedding elements, a testament of a union between 2 cultures
. Shang Chi and Leiko decided to use the wedding planning funds to help with soup kitchens in Yi Ti in rhe war, earning much respect from the people
. The reception banquet has a myriad of Yi Tish, Lenghi and Jogos Nghai cuisines. Leiko's parents and full siblings all showed up to the wedding btw. There was singing, dancing and good food. Everyone had a wonderful time
. Leiko and her Jogos Nghai party in tow did a throat singing/Mongol dance performance
. Shang Chi and his Yi Ti party in tow did a comedy skit and everyone laughed and loved it
. Katy and her Lenghi party did a Vietnamese style fan dance performance
. Despite the ongoing war against Wenwu, it is a joyous day for everyone else involved at the wedding
#shang chi#leiko#a song of marvel and metals#wedding!!!#i love writing this#thank you mr chaos for bringing that crossover series to LIFE

Chronicles of Galar - Prologue 1: Taiko Hirebayashi
Some Info beforehand. This is going a pretty long fic with several chapters. But the chapters are somewhat different than normal fanfictions. Because they are just in chronological order but some of them are not actually connected to each other and some may have a greater timeskip than others. Imagine it like a readable diary of your adventures with just the mention worthy adventures added. But be careful, because this story is like a HELL OF A TOOTHROTTING-FLUFF fic. The main pairing is of course You x Leon. A side Pairing is Taiko(OC) x Raihan and a mentioned Pairing is Leiko(OC) x Piers Although, you won’t have to deal much with Leiko. But Taiko will get a bigger role since she becomes your best friend. Oh and if you wanna look for the Fic and it’s parts, make sure to follow the tag: Chronicles of Galar. Now enough Chatting, here is the introduction of the first character: My lovely tsun Taiko! And don’t forget: This is NOT proof read. English is NOT my first language. So please be gentle with mistakes.
[Prologue: Taiko Hirebayashi]
[9 years before the timeline in sword / shield]
“Taiko, honey. Don't run too far away from the camp. The wild area is teeming with Pokemon. ”, a woman, around her late 20s to early 30s with purple hair that was tied in a pigtail, spoke in a warning tone. She wore glasses and petted a Flareon, her loyal partner Pokemon. "Yes, mommy.", a 9-year old girl with fiery red hair replied cheekily. "And stop using this word, please. Did you learn that here in Galar? Please just call me mother. ”, she corrected her daughter. Ever since the holiday in Galar began, the child seemed to have increasingly adopted the linguistic peculiarities of the inhabitants of this region. "Okay, mother.", Taiko muttered and rolled her eyes in slight annoyance. She didn't thought it was that bad, because she loved everything in Galar. Much more than at her home in Ecruteak City, in Johto. Her mother was one of the dancing geishas at Ho-Oh's temple, which was why Taiko was promised an Eevee for her 10th birthday as a starter Pokemon. Like all geishas, she should learn the art of meditation dance one day, in order to command the awe of the holy phoenix pokemon. But now they were here, in Galar, enjoying a few days of vacation.
Taiko quickly got bored, however. In her tent, she started to felt shut in. Her toys were only entertaining for a short period of time. She wanted to explore the wild area and see Pokemon! No matter how much her mother told her not to.
The young redhead sneaked out of the tent, while her parents were talking to an employee of the Pokemon Rangers, because a wild Dynamax Pokemon attacked the Lake of outrage nearby. Therefore, a warning was issued to all traveling coaches and tourists to stay away from this lake in any case.
If that didn't sound like an adventure ..
Without even thinking about it, the girl simply ran through the wild area. Lake of outrage was relatively in the middle of the area and her parents' camp was quite far to the south, at a popular campground for out-of-towners. Because there were only weak Pokemon running around, which did not pose any danger to hikers.
So Taiko just had to walk south, right? ... But she didn't knew where the south was.
The extroverted redhead remembered her days in the scouts camp, which had taken place near Cianwood City. She remembered that moss grows on the northern side of trees because they are often in the shade due to the rays of the sun on the other side and the moss can spread there. So Taiko examined the surrounding trees and based on the position of the moss, she quickly knew where north was. She nodded proudly and then strutted north, full of energy.
Meanwhile in another part of the wild area.
“Pokeball, go!” an 11 year old boy with dark skin, casual clothes and a red headband that hid most of his hair, shouted. The pokeball hit a small, white spherical pokemon, which was vaguely reminiscent of a slug. The dragon pokemon Goomy. The ball wobbled three times before stopping and trapping the Pokemon. "YES!" the boy smirked and put himself in a victory pose, which, of course, nobody could see because he was alone. Shortly afterwards, he took his Rotom smartphone out of his pocket and took a picture of himself and his latest catch. Then he opened a social media page that was similar to Facebook.
'Look, I caught a Goomy! The dragon tamer Raihan has struck again! : D Soon nobody can stop me, so take a good look @Leon! I will be champion before you!'
With a grin, Raihan tapped 'Publish' and waited for the many likes from his friends and “fans”, as he liked to call his followers. It took less than 5 minutes before his best friend and rival had already made a like and comment.
'Wow, congratulations @Raihan! This Pokemon is totally rare! Unfortunately I haven't seen one yet. But don't be too early! Who will be champion first is still to be decided! '
Raihan grinned and replied, in his cheeky way. 'You have to find the stadium for our decisive fight first! XD I have enough time to train my Pokemon. '
The young man put his smartphone back in his pocket, he knew that Leon never accepted his provocations and therefore it was a waste of time to wait for an answer. “Come on, Vibrava. Let's see if we can find more cool Pokemon! ”He said to his partner Pokemon. The green, dragonfly-like Pokemon nodded eagerly and flew over the area, while Raihan grinned and followed his companion. He just loved looking for Pokemon in the wild area.
Back to Taiko. The young redhead was already regretting her spontaneous ideas and had to admit: she was lost.
This part of the wild area was so heavily overgrown by dense forest that hardly any sunlight penetrated through the thicket and consequently the moss grew on all sides of the trees. So it was impossible for her to determine in which direction she had to go.
"...MUM? DAD? DO YOU HEAR ME? ”And then she gave up and called desperately for her parents. Why the hell was she always so .. stubborn and had to give in to her curiosity?
The girl fell on her knees and began to cry. She was just too spontaneous and didn't think about the consequences. Now she was here in an unknown area, far away from her parents and who knows what else was lurking in the dark thicket?
A bush near her began to jiggle and that frightened the little girl. She stopped her emotional outburst and looked frightened at the bush. She crawled a few feet back from her almost sitting position and shivered as the rustling increased. Taiko swallowed lightly, trying not to make a sound to attract the attention of this unknown creature in the bush.
Suddenly a small, white rabbit pokemon rolled out with some somersaults. It had a kind of red fur in the shape of a plaster on its nose and its long ears wiggled and twitched as it straightened up and looked around. Taiko looked at the little Pokemon, which noticed her now too. It looked back. Neither of them moved for a few moments until Taiko blinked several times.
"How cute ..", she beamed and crawled forward on all fours. The little Pokemon stopped and tilted its head slightly as it watched the humans movements. "Scor? Scorbunny!" the little creature said. Taiko knew that Pokemon could only say their name, so now she knew the species. So that was a Scorbunny! She had never seen it before. Was it a regional Pokemon from Galar?
"Mmm, I think I have some candy somewhere …" the redhead mumbled. At least the situation calmed her down enough to forget about her outbreak minutes before ... She searched her pockets and actually found some fruit gums made from red haban berries. A very sweet type of berry that was perfect for sweets. Taiko smiled and offered the Pokemon some fruit gums. "Little one? You're are hungry, aren't you? ”She asked.
Scorbunny bounced closer and sniffed the girl's hand. Probably a first approach as to whether it could trust the person. As it took a fruit gum on its paws, it sniffed the gelatine again and stuffed it into its mouth. Taiko giggled as the Scorbunny gleefully chewed the fruit gum and then happily hopped up. "Scor! Scor Scor Bun?"
Taiko didn't knew what the Pokemon was trying to tell her, but from it's hopping around and staring at the fruit gums, it was obvious. It wanted more candy. The redhead smiled and gave Scorbunny a few more fruit gums. This time the Pokemon was braver and patted Taiko's hand with its paws before pounding on the fruit gums. Taiko had to laugh gently when Scorbunny let 5 fruit gums disappear into it's mouth at once and chewed contentedly. "You remind me of me." Taiko giggled.
Scorbunny finished snacking and as a token of gratitude, leaned it with its head on her arm and cuddled up to her. Taiko blinked slightly in surprise. Who could have guessed that wild Pokémon would approach humans so quickly? So obviously love goes through the stomach. Taiko smiled again and ruffled Scorbunnys fur behind it's ears. The Pokemon let out a satisfied purr and closed its eyes.
After a while, the Pokemon hopped onto her lap. This action surprised Taiko and she put both hands around the Pokemon. "It's so trusting .. it definitely belongs to someone ..", the redhead sighed, disappointed. She would have liked to keep the Scorbunny to herself. The two lingered like this for a few minutes until Taiko noticed that she was still in a quandary. She still didn't know how to get back to her parents. And the Pokemon was certainly not a sign back.
Slowly, the girl got up and let Scorbunny on the floor. “Go, your trainer is probably already worried about you.“ Taiko smiled and gave it a few last fruit gums before she continued on her way.
For the next 10 minutes she already missed Scorbunny .. She sighed softly to herself and stopped to lean against a tree. "Scorbunny ..." Taiko's eyes widened when she heard the Pokemon's call and turned around. Scorbunny was a few meters away from her. Taiko didn't even think for a second that it might be another Pokemon. It MUST be the same ..
When the Pokemon saw the girl kneel down, it ran into her arms and snuggled against the redhead's chest. Taiko straightened up and hugged the Pokemon. "You probably missed me too ..?", She asked and as if Scorbunny wanted to answer, it's nose nudged her fist when she raised her hand in front of it. Taiko smiled. "Then let's find a way back together." Scorbunny nodded and climbed onto her shoulder, where it made itself comfortable.
Taiko went on for a while, she didn't know how long, but it was already getting dark. Her parents were probably worried ... Then suddenly a huge lake was before her. Scorbunny sniffed the new surroundings and then tensed up with a menacing growl. The redhead swallowed at this cautious behavior. "The Lake of Outrage ...", she realized then. She wanted to run in the other direction when suddenly a giant Pangoro blocked her way. Apparently she had invaded it's territory because it looked angry. And aggressive.
The redhead stepped back, startled, and tripped over a thick branch. She fell on her bum and held her aching foot after she fell on it with her weight and cried out in pain. Pangoro seemed angry at the noise and stepped closer. It's dangerous threatening gesture made the girl's blood run cold. Scorbunny growled loudly and jumped in front of the girl as if it wanted to fight Pangoro.
"No..! This is an evolved Pokemon ...! It's too strong .. ” Taiko warned, but Scorbunny tried to attack with a double kick and jumped on the evolved Panda Pokemon. Pangoro held up Scorbunnys leg with one paw and tossed it back so that it landed in the mud next to the girl. "Scorbunny!" Taiko shouted distraught and took Scorbunny in her arms when Pangoro came closer and raised his paw for a blow. The redhead closed her eyes tightly and tears ran down her cheeks. "I don't want to die yet ..."
"Vibrava, dragon rush!", a boy's voice penetrated her ears and Taiko looked up when something enveloped in a blue aura slammed into the menacing Panda Pokemon from above in full speed. Pangoro was staggered by the recoil and Raihan jumped in front of Taiko, ordering his Vibrava to make further attacks. "Super power, now!"Raihan ordered, causing Vibrava to launch a wave of attacks on the Pangoro. The fighting Pokemon appeared to be extremely robust and put up with all attacks. "Damn it, well then we have no other choice. Vibrava, use sandstorm! "Raihan shouted. Then he turned to the girl behind him. "Cover your mouth and nose!"
Taiko nodded and pushed the scarf, that her mother had given her over, half over her face. Vibrava created a dense sandstorm that made the entire area so opaque that you couldn't see anything. It was only when Taiko felt someone put a hand on her shoulder that she recognized the outlines of the boy, who helped her. "Let's get out of here before the storm subsides," he said. Taiko tried to get up, but a strong pain in her leg made her fall back to the ground.
"Ouch .."
"Hey, are you okay?" Raihan asked, holding her to keep her from falling again.
"I must have broken my leg when I tripped earlier .. I can't step .." the redhead sighed in frustration. Raihan blinked for a moment and saw his Vibrava land on his shoulder. He knew the sandstorm wouldn't hold up the enemy Pokemon much longer. An idea occurred to him without further ado and he turned his back on the girl while he knelt down. “Climb on my back. I'll carry you. ", He said.
"T-I can't ask that of you ..", Taiko mumbled and shook her head vigorously.
“Come on, my tent is not far from here and the storm won't hold back Pangogo for long. We have to get out of here. ”, the young trainer explained and Taiko probably had no other choice. She sighed and climbed onto his back, the Scorbunny clinging on her shirt and holding onto her as the boy carried her away from the lake.
It really didn't take long, a maximum of 10 minutes, until the boy reached his tent and gently laid the young girl on his sleeping bag.
"Here we are. Uhm. What's your name anyway? ”The boy then asked with a smile.
"T-Taiko and what's your name?"
"Raihan. Are you a Gym Challenger too? " Raihan asked and saw how the Scorbunny had snuggled up with her and was sleeping. The redhead shook her head. “I'm not from here and I'm only 9 .. My parents and I are only here for vacation. I live in Johto. “, She then explained.
“Then why were you alone at Lake of outrage? It's not an approved campsite at all. On the contrary, it is strictly forbidden for travelers to enter here.“
"Uhm .. well .. I was curious because I was bored in the tent and .. then I somehow got lost ..", the redhead explained, embarrassed, and tugged on a strand of red hair. Raihan just looked at her before he laughed. This reaction offended Taiko now that she thought he was making fun of her situation.
"Hey, that's not funny, I was really scared!" She said with a pout and turned away with slightly flushed cheeks. Raihan wiped a tear of laughter from his face and grinned slightly before winking at her. "Sorry, I didn't laugh at you. Just .. I've done so much nonsense too. When I was 5, my father was camping here with me too and I saw a Trapinch and followed it to Lake of outrage too. My father had to save me from a wild Gyarados in the water. And I was just thinking that I was having a deja vu when I saved you, ”he admitted with a laugh.
Taiko blinked slightly.
"Uhm ..", she just wasn't quite sure what to say to that. "Thank you for the rescue ..", she said quietly, but still slightly offended, and turned her head away from him.
"You are welcome. But let's take care of your leg first. ", Raihan said and got a first aid kit from the corner of his stuff. Taiko lingered as quiet as a mouse, a rarity with her otherwise extroverted personality, when Raihan exposed the leg by lifting her pants up the affected leg and pulling down her socks to inspect the damage. “That looks bad. No wonder you can't walk. ", He said and took a rag that he moistened with a kind of disinfectant spray. "That could burn a bit now," he warned her.
The redhead bit her lip and squeaked softly as he placed the rag on the wound on her leg. Raihan smiled and praised her for how bravely she got through this action. She even had to laugh a little when he confessed that he had screamed like crazy when he was injured and his father wanted to treat him with the stuff too. She didn't know why, but somehow Taiko didn't feel so helpless anymore.
She watched spellbound as he expertly cleaned the wound and treated it with a bandage. "You don't seem to be doing this for the first time," she said then. Raihan blinked and then looked up at her as he kneeled in front of her to put his foot on his lap.
"Yeah. I have a clumsy best friend. His injury rate is pretty high when he's got lost. I don't even know how often I've been bandaged his falls and grazes. ", Raihan said thoughtfully and Taiko giggled. “Sounds like me. I am also at risk of injury. A miracle it was only the leg. ", She sighed. Raihan smiled and put her leg down again.
“You would certainly get along well. He exudes the same positive energy as you. ", Raihan said, whereupon Taiko went a little red in the face. However, she didn't know why. "I exude positive energy?" She asked.
"Sure, of course. You can see that just by how Scorbunny has taken you to its heart! I thought to myself that it wasn't yours when you said you were only 9 and not from here. So it's a wild Pokemon, but it behaves like you've been training it for years. ", The boy remarked, whereupon the girl's cheeks turned even darker. "Uhm .. I'll take that as a compliment .." she whispered, slightly embarrassed. "It was one." Raihan winked and was amused by the shy behavior of the girl. At the lake she had behaved differently. Then there was a short silence between the two of them until Raihan reached for his smartphone. For once, he wasn't interested in his social media activities. “Which campsite are you at? In the east or in the south? ”He asked.
"Uhm .. south?"
"All right." Raihan smiled and started dialing a number.
"Who are you calling?"
“Mr. Pascal. He is practically the lessor of the campsite. Your parents surely miss you. So I'll give him our coordinates so that someone can come and pick you up. Because I can't carry you the way to the campsite. ”At this comment the redhead blushed again and turned away slightly. “Your last name would still be helpful to find your parents more easily. "..Hirabayashi."
Raihan called and talked to Pascal for a few minutes until he had passed on all the informations. About the aggressiveness of the Pokemon at Lake of outrage, about the injured girl and also their whereabouts. Then he thanked him and hung up. “They can't send a rescue team out until tomorrow morning because they'd have problems finding us and transporting you. I told them that you can spend the night with me in the tent and that you are safe. ", Raihan said. "Uhm .. but you only have one sleeping bag." Taiko spoke. "But that doesn't matter .. I can sleep on the floor."
Raihan sighed.
“There is no way of letting a girl sleep on the floor. You sleep in my sleeping bag, I sleep on the floor. " He said.
"Never."
"Well, then we'll both sleep on the floor if you don't give in." Raihan shrugged his shoulders, whereupon Taiko rolled his eyes. "Then give in.", She said and shrugged her shoulders. Raihan grinned slightly and folded his arms behind his neck.
"Only if you sleep in my sleeping bag." Was the devious answer. "To what extent is that giving in for YOU?" Taiko asked now and crossed her arms in front of her chest. The two just looked at each other for a few moments before Raihan sighed in defeat. "Well, let's make a compromise.", He said, which made Taiko sit up and take notice. “It gets darn cold here at night anyway. If we cuddle up a little ... together, we can both sleep in the sleeping bag and the body heat prevents us from half-freezing to death. "
His suggestion made Taiko look shocked. He wasn't really serious, was it? She didn't know this boy at all. But now that he said it, it was actually quite fresh. "..."
"You can of course also become a living Vanillite if you prefer that.", Raihan said and spread out the sleeping bag. "Okay, okay. It's only for one night. ", She gave in, whereupon Raihan had to laugh again.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
The next morning, Taiko's parents and some of the wild area staff members went to the location of forest that Raihan had described for them. It wasn't long before they found the tent, which was guarded by a Duraludon. “This is Raihan’s tent. It has to be. " Pascal remaked, before Taikos parents ran to the tent. "Taiko ?!"
Taiko blinked, she was still half asleep when she yawned and snuggled into something warm. This warmth moved slightly, from which the redhead woke up. She wiped away the sleep on her eyes and then saw how she was snuggled up against Raihan, her legs tangled and his arms pressed her to his chest.
The girl quickly broke away from him and Raihan woke up too. "Woah?"
The redhead ignored him and let her mother hug her tightly.
"What kind of things are you doing?" Her mother scolded her. "I'm sorry .. really .." the girl apologized and was then pulled into a hug by her father. "Never do that again," he said then. "You're hurt, aren't you? I'll carry you back. ", He said then and wanted to pick her up. "Wait, dad ..!" Taiko stopped him and then turned to Raihan. She made a beckoning hand gesture that signaled him to come closer. "Thanks again for everything, Raihan. I hope to see you again. ", She smiled and hugged him goodbye. Raihan smiled and hugged back. “Well, if you ever want to visit Galar again, you are always welcome. Until then, I'm champion and you can visit me in my palace. ”He laughed. "The champion lives in a palace?" Taiko asked and her eyes widened greatly.
"I dunno, but definitely!", Raihan laughed then, whereupon Taiko had to laugh too. "Well, see you at some point, hopefully. And take care of yourself, you risk-of-injury. ", He said teasingly.
Taiko was then carried back to the campsite and was even allowed to keep Scorbunny.
And what should she say?
5 years later, she set foot in Galar again after her divorced mother wanted to start a new life over there and Taiko seized the opportunity and followed her to see the cute boy from back then again.

Thinking about the twins being there for Nuri after Mai's death. I imagine there are things like Jedi therapy, especially during times of war, but the old methods aren't as effective for Nuri as they once were. She lost her mother figure, one of the three people she forged a Force bond with. And since Mai died saving her, she blames herself completely.
Nuri feels anger, guilt, despair, hopelessness, all of the things you would feel after losing a loved one, and more specifically, a parent. Rin, who is more familar with acknowledging and channeling her emotions, helps her by one, not treating Nuri like a wounded animal, like most of the people around her do, and two, by showing her that emotions hold power. They duel often, so Nuri can adjust to fighting with her injury (her leg got broken during the duel where Mai died), and so Nuri can channel her anger into something useful.
And as he always is, Leiko is a steadying presence for Nuri, not expecting anything from her, taking her grief as it comes, and holding her hand as she adjusts to this new world. They also connect over memories of Mai - she was a mother and mentor for them both.

Tainted Eve Prologue ~ Sayo's Story
(DBL is a game with mature themes, so reader beware. Sayo does go through abuse from members of the church, so please do not read if that will negatively affect you.)
“Eve….Awaken.”
“Annoying…” Sayo sighed.
“What was that?!” one of the nuns snapped, slapping her hand down on the table in front of her.
“Nothing,” Sayo forced a smile. “I’ve finished work for the day. That is all you needed me for, right?”
The nun narrowed her eyes at Sayo, but let it go. “You’re free to go. Make sure you aren’t late to school or I’ll hear about it from your father.”
“Never been late before.”
The nun swung her arm in a flash, the back of her hand slapping Sayo’s cheek.
“Obnoxious child!” the nun exclaimed before stomping away.
That wasn’t unexpected. She was aware her words probably wouldn’t sit well with the particular woman in front of her. Everything she did never sat well with any of the nuns working at the church her ‘parents’ were in charge of.
Sayori Makina was adopted. Kizuna and Ayumi Makina had only taken her in because they were paid handsomely to do so. And the person who paid them? Karlheinz Sakamaki, known by some as the king of the vampires. You would think a being such as a vampire would be strongly rejected by the two people who ran a church, however, it wasn’t doing well at the time. In exchange for the money he offered up front and the promise of financial support in the future, they agreed to take Sayo in and go along with his plan for her future. A future she was strongly rejecting.
After changing and getting her things ready, she began her walk to school. Most students she knew didn’t walk to and from school, especially considering it was a night school, but it wasn’t like anybody from the church was going to drive her.
Her friend Kisa Fujimoto’s mother had offered to drive her multiple times, but she always felt too bad to agree. She had a hard time accepting people trying to go out of their way to help her. It was a bad habit, something she had gotten better at recently, but it all stemmed from how she was raised….
“Sayo? Hey, are you even listening?”
Sayo lifted her head from her desk. The school day had ended and her and her friends were the only ones in the classroom. Leiko Koizumi was leaning towards Sayo from her seat at the desk next to her.
“Of course I’m listening,” Sayo sat up straight.
“Liar,” Lei grinned. “I know you too well to believe that. Getting lost in thought is your thing.”
“You’ve caught me,” she chuckled. “What were you saying?”
“We were talking about our next practice,” Kisa grinned, leaning against Sayo’s desk.
Emi Akiyama was with them as well. The four had been friends since elementary school. Before she had met Lei or Kisa, Sayo had only been close to Emi. The two were often holed up on their own in the library during their free time. Sayo was avoiding going home, just like she did now, and Emi was so shy at the time that she followed Sayo around like a lost duck because she didn’t talk to very many people.
That all changed when Kisa transferred in. She was loud and energetic, which rubbed some people the wrong way, but despite that, she was quick to make friends. Out of everyone, she grew extremely close to Lei because of their shared love of music.
Secretly, Emi admired Kisa from afar. She saw many of the things she lacked as a person in Kisa, and wished she had even a fraction of Kisa’s confidence. After a while, Kisa caught on. And so, she made it her mission to befriend the shy girl who liked her so much and, consequently, the bookworm who Emi hid behind when she was embarrassed. Kisa would purposely seek them out in the library, dragging Lei with her as well. Eventually, the four became inseparable.
Currently, Emi and Kisa were in a different class than Lei and Sayo. Even so, each day after school ended the two would join them. Whether they were working on homework together, studying, or just talking, it didn’t matter as long as they were doing something together.
During their first year of high school, the group decided to start a band. Kisa learned how to play bass and guitar as a child, and Lei had learned to play the drums in junior high. Emi’s mother loved playing the piano, and had taught her as a child as well, so she already knew how to play an instrument. That left Sayo. She didn’t have the money to buy her own. But since Kisa favored the bass, she taught Sayo how to play the guitar. After years of practice, Kisa wanted to put their skills to good use. They had already been writing songs together, so the next step would be performing.
They started off small, playing for whatever random events or places that would let them. The group was just looking for experience and to make a name for themselves, even if it was small, so they didn’t require payment. Eventually their band, Bitter Step, gained a following big enough to be regular performers at a dance club. It was an understatement to say they were grateful. The band was their pride and joy. They just wanted to continue doing what they loved.
“Yes," Emi smiled, munching on a cookie she had baked before school. “My plans for this weekend changed, so I’m able to do it Friday after all.”
Emi had passed out cookies to the rest of them as well earlier. The other girls had already finished them.
“The usual work, Sayo?” Lei asked.
“Does indeed,” she agreed.
“Then it’s settled,” Lei wrote it down in the planner she always carried with her. “Since we’ve figured that out, I should probably head home now. It’s getting pretty late.”
“That’s true...” Emi glanced at her phone to see the time. “I have to get home as well. I still have a lot of work to get done…”
Considering the two had announced it was time to go, everyone began packing up their things.
“Procrastinating on homework again, huh?” Kisa couldn’t help but laugh. “You never change, Emi. I’ll come with you so I can help, alright?”
“Thank you so much!” Emi smiled, her cheeks dusted pink.
“Come on, come on,” Kisa grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the door. “You’re too slow~”
“Yes, I’m coming!” Emi exclaimed, trying to match Kisa’s pace.
Lei and Sayo laughed, following after the two. They all exchanged goodbyes once they had reached the school entrance before going their separate ways. This was a normal day for them.
“Eve. You are the original. You must awaken. Awaken, Eve. Awaken.”
And as of a few days ago, that voice echoing through her head was becoming normal as well. It was the voice of Karlheinz Sakamaki, trying to push her into finally going along with his twisted plan...
Karlheinz had done nothing but torture her ever since she had known him. The day they first met, everything went to hell, for both her and her adoptive parents. That day, a tragedy struck, one that would have made her parents reject that large sum of money when he first approached them with the infant Sayo had they known it would occur.
Their real child, Shiro, died that day. And ever since then, they had blamed her because it was easier than blaming the man who helped keep the church in business. Her relationship with them had always been rocky at best, so it was rather easy for them to completely turn on her. They left her in the care of the nuns and only spoke to her when necessary. But of course, simply abandoning her to others wasn’t cruel enough. Instead, they told the nuns to treat her cruelly, like a servant, like someone who was subhuman. And so, they treated her terribly. Any nun who tried to show her any semblance of kindness was driven away. That was how much her parents hated her. And after her outburst that god didn’t exist shortly after her brother’s death, the nuns came to hate her as well.
Sayo had come to terms with that a long time ago. Trying to survive in such an environment was a lot harder when she was younger. But at seventeen, she was fully capable of silently doing her work and keeping out of the way. She had her moments, of course, like earlier that day. When she was in a bad mood, it wasn’t uncommon to accidentally say something to the wrong person and get slapped around in return.
Unlike a few years ago, they no longer tried to do worse. She had grown too much to make it easy for them. When she fought back, it would take multiple people to hold her down to accept her punishment. The nuns simply got tired of it after a few tries. It wasn’t worth the effort. They all knew, at this point, there was no getting through to her. Besides, they were just biding their time until she was finally gone.
The nuns didn’t know the specific details as to why, but they knew her parents were planning on pawning her off to some other family. The story that had spread throughout the church was that they were trying to arrange for her to marry the son of one of the church’s beneficiaries. Once that engagement was finalized, they planned to ship her off to live with them. Sayo hated that the rumor wasn’t that far off from the truth. In a way, her parents were going to give her back to Karlheinz, so that she could fulfill her role in his “Adam and Eve” plan.
This was something she was trying to oppose more than anything. Her role as “Eve” was to find her “Adam”...meaning Karlheinz was specifically trying to set her up with one of his sons. From what she understood, he thought he could somehow create a superior race if the plan succeeded. Sayo didn’t understand how that was even possible and had no desire to find out. She had figured out both families of vampires were sadistic and looked down on humans, treating them horribly. She had found out as much from the other Eve, Yui Komori.
Karlheinz had arranged for them to meet a couple of months ago, unbeknownst to his sons. Ironically, he was in a power struggle with Sayo. Since she was the one he originally chose to be Eve, he wanted her to willingly participate in his plan. It would make things go more smoothly. Since she knew about the plan, if she denied her role, even if he forced her to live with his sons, there could be problematic side effects. Either way, her stubborn refusal was a problem. Yui, on the other hand, knew nothing of the plan, so there was no way for her to deny her role as the second Eve.
He thought meeting the girl she would be living with would help Sayo accept her role, but it had quite the opposite effect. When they were alone, Yui told her some of the horrible things the Sakamaki brothers had done. She was appalled. Those stories made her want to run for the hills and only strengthened her resolve to deny Karlheinz and his plan with everything she had.
As much as Sayo wished she could help Yui get out of that situation, there was nothing she could do. Yui didn’t mind. She still didn’t know about the Adam and Eve plan, and assumed Sayo was another “prospective bride”. All she wanted was for Sayo to continue resisting so they wouldn’t share the same fate.
“Eve. Awaken, Eve. You do not have the luxury of watching from the sidelines. You must find your Adam.”
Sayo could suddenly see a flash of a glass pavilion. She had seen it before in her dreams. There was a large apple tree growing in the middle of it. Just like usual, it wasn’t blooming...but it wasn’t dying either. The only time she wanted to see that damn vision was if the tree was finally dying. She shook her head furiously to rid herself of it.
'Shut up! I don’t want to be a part of your sick game!'
Considering she was hearing Karlheinz’s voice more frequently, she had a feeling something would happen very soon. Exactly what, she wasn’t sure. All she knew was that after the meeting with Yui, he was giving her a little time to accept things. The next time he talked to her, he was expecting a more reasonable answer….although his idea of reasonable differed immensely from hers.
Unfortunately, she was right on the mark. When she got home, she noticed there was a limo parked outside the church. That certainly wasn’t normal. She had a bad feeling about this. Trying her best to ignore it, she walked by it, trying to get around to the back entrance. However, the door opened before she could get far. Sayo glared once she realized who was exiting the car.
“I was going to offer you a ride home, but thought better of it considering you were spending time with those friends of yours,” Karlheinz smiled at her.
“I wouldn’t have accepted,” she tried to walk past him, but he held an arm out to stop her.
“Please wait. We are going to have this discussion either way. Would you rather I wake up your parents, so they are present to hear what I have to say?”
Her parents would only complicate things, so she would rather not get them involved. Talking to all three of them pissed her off very easily, although that man could put her in a rage all on his own. She was surprised he was willing to speak with her without them. If she was alone, she was more likely to attack him. She had a few times in the past, not that it ever worked. As much as she wanted to, it was pointless.
“Shall we have this discussion in the car? If we go inside, someone might report it to your parents.”
“Whatever,” she grumbled.
“You have a much cooler head than usual,” Karlheinz noted as the two got into the limo.
That was certainly true. It wasn’t uncommon for her to immediately lash out at him in rage the moment she saw him. That happened less frequently the past few times he had come to speak with her. She still despised him, but had learned to keep her cool, even if she was thinking nasty things the entire time.
“Don’t misunderstand. I would rip your head off if I got the chance,” there was a sickly sweet smile on her face.
“Let us put any feelings we may have of each other aside so we can have a proper discussion. I am sure you know why I am here.”
“To try to convince me to accept that I am Eve,” she stated, rolling her eyes. “And, like usual, you’ll fail to do so.”
“Not quite. I have realized that the only way you will accept you are Eve is when you find your Adam. At first, I thought it would be best for you to move in with my sons-”
“No way in hell,” her answer was immediate.
“Hear me out before you outright refuse.”
“Why should I? Yui told me plenty of things about her time living with them. Do you really think I’ll agree to moving in when they’re just going to try to control what I do and treat me like a blood bag? No thanks.”
“You did not let me finish. Originally, I wanted you to move in with my sons, but I have changed my mind.”
She stared, baffled. What on earth could cause his change of heart? She would never understand him.
“Before I continue, I have something for you. Call it a peace offering.”
He pulled something out of his jacket pocket before holding it out for her. Sayo glanced down, fairly skeptical as to what it was. But she was shocked. It was a new pocket knife, much nicer than the one she had currently.
“Why are you giving me this?” She questioned, but took it anyway before he could change his mind.
“It is silver. I thought you might appreciate a new one.”
“What’s the catch?” She narrowed her eyes at him.
“There is none, child. I will say, I am surprised. You have mellowed out quite a bit since the last few times we have spoken.”
He wasn’t wrong. But her rage never fazed him.
“You giving me this does not mean I won’t use it on you if I get the chance,” she stated, deciding to be blunt.
He ignored the comment. “Now, I shall continue. I have decided you are more suited for the Mukami family. I know enough about your human life to understand what you desire-”
“That is bullshit-”
“Just listen, child. I know my sons well enough to know they will try to put an end to the life with your friends that you desire. That is why the Mukami family is a better fit for you.”
“I don’t care if they are a better fit for me. That does not change my stance on this. I will not take part in your plan. I am not your Eve. You found a new one. What more do you want?”
“The Mukami brothers failed to become Adam. I wish to see if that will be different with you.”
“Like I give a damn what you want. That doesn’t change the fact that they’re a family of vampires. I am not a blood bag and I am not Eve. Me being there will not lead to the outcome you want.”
“That is not something you can say for sure.”
“Sure it is,” she crossed her arms across her chest.
This conversation wasn’t going anywhere. His attempts at persuasion never did. She had heard him out for long enough.
“If that’s all, I’ll be going,” she stood up.
“I am not finished. I have given you plenty of time to consider this. I have waited long enough. You will admit to the Mukami brothers that you will be Eve by the end of next week…or there will be consequences.”
She didn’t reply, choosing to get out of the limo in silence. Karlheinz made no attempt to stop her. He had given his final warning. It was time to move forward with his plan…whether she was willing or not. Hopefully she would choose to accept it because of his threat, but he knew her well enough to figure she would be too stubborn. But he didn’t need her to agree at this point. The cogs of fate would start turning either way. He had an ace up his sleeve, after all.
Sayo was grateful that man let her go. Just that short interaction was exhausting. All she wanted to do was go inside and get to bed. She had work to do before school, after all. She was used to getting little sleep, but had no intention of shortening how much she got tonight.
As she was laying in bed, she couldn’t help but dwell on the conversation. Yui hadn’t told her anything about the Mukami brothers when they first met. From what Karlheinz had said, they had attempted to become Adam already through Yui. So what had she experienced with them? Was it similar to her time with the Sakamaki brothers? Talking to Yui at school could earn her unwanted attention from those vampires. She wanted to know what she would be up against, though, if the Mukami brothers went after her. If something happened after her week was up, maybe she would just have to risk going to Yui to get that information….
She sighed. This whole situation was a pain in the ass. Eventually she would need to make a plan on what to do about the Mukamis after her week was up, but that would have to wait. She was too exhausted to think about it anymore. And so, she fell into a restless sleep, the anxiety of the situation continuing to eat at her through her dreams.
Sayori could struggle all she wanted, but it is not easy to change one's fate. At least she had been spared from the Sakamaki brothers. She was unaware of it, but the Mukami family did have a sense of humanity deep down. They had been human, after all. And Yui's kindness did end up affecting them during her time there. Her savior truly was Yui. If she had not become an Eve, Sayori would have suffered a much crueler fate....

I’m going to shill a little bit and gauge reaction here! Cause I can of course. Here are my OC’s that I’ve created over the past years and a little explanation about them.

Adelina Fincher: Age 34, My Ace Attorney OC
She’s a prosecutor for the district of Los Angeles but didn’t originally live there. Her parents are Katherine and Victoria Fincher, highly regarded actors and noted perfectionists. As a kid she was emotionally neglected and abused by her parents who never found anything that she did good enough. This lead her to be more closed off and barely made any friends because she was too busy trying to please her unpleasable parents.
She wanted to be a prosecutor growing up because of law shows but her parents insisted she become an actor like they were and she learned a lot about playing a role because of them. However, she eventually convinced them that she would go to college and get her law degree, and that they would help pay for it. On one condition. She’d get a 4.0 GPA. And she did! At the expense of her social life again aside from 1 friend. But when she graduated she was saddled with a ton of debt because her parents were broke and were going after her for money.
She is straight forward, honest and doesn’t hold anything back. She is also sharp witted and is able to figure out things about people when they are holding back from her. She also has a crippling addiction to pepsi and drinks a 12 pack during court. It takes her a while to warm up to people because of trust issues (her parents betrayed her, she’s had others betray her and so on). But if you break her shell she is very friendly and cracks all sorts of puns and jokes.

Elly Lane: Age 25, a trans female OC
Growing up in San Diego California well before she came out as trans, Elly lived a relatively normal life, though her parents were highly religious. One time as a joke she was forced to wear a dress as a humiliation tactic and she found that she actually found it quite comfortable and that was the start to her becoming trans, though it would be a long time before she realized what it meant. As she grew up, she wore dresses more and more, having to hide them from the prying eyes of her parents who were convinced that she was mentally ill and needed to be subjected to some form of conversion therapy.
Elly took refuge behind a computer screen and is a massive fan of anime and manga. Her favorite Anime/manga of all time is a made up for her anime series called Princess Rikako, a series about a Princess with the ability to shape shift into whatever she wanted, albeit with more realistic limitations to it in terms of being able to change back. It was also a big part of what made her come out as trans. In person she is soft spoken and quick to emotional outbursts, usually tears because getting overwhelmed emotionally is very easy to happen to her.
Online though she is argumentative and defensive of her favorite shows. Japan and it’s culture are her favorite things and she has spent years learning to speak and write and read Japanese on her own, and while she’s not perfect, she was able to go to Japan on vacation and that’s when she eventually came out as trans. In the rp universe I have with her on discord she met up with Ren/Akira and Futaba in Akihibara and eventually became friends with the phantom thieves, and was able to get a job at Leblanc Cafe and stay in Japan whilst working towards her naturalized citizenship. And is currently in the midst of transitioning.

Valerie Mable, Age 33. My buff girl OC
Growing up in Minneapolis Minnesota Valerie grew up to a relatively poor family who didn’t have much to their name and as a result she valued food because it was scarce. However there come a point where her family ran across a large sum of money and her life turned around instantly. No longer was food and essentials something that had to be treasured but instead it was something that she could just have whenever. That resulted in her eating a lot and gaining a lot of weight. Even though she is 6′0 she was seen as very fat, being over 350 lbs at one point in her life.
She wanted to be a lawyer, a defense attorney and ended up going to the same college that Adelina did and she considered Adelina her only friend there, and was defended against when her weight was used for bullying. Despite being roomates with Adelina the two didn’t talk as much as expected and when Valerie graduated she didn’t even get to say goodbye to her friend. She went on a mission to lose weight and ended up developing anorexia as a result and nearly dying having lost a ton of weight in such a short period of time.
Afterwards she got her life back together and devoted herself to fitness where she became the buff fitness guru that she is today. She is a defense attorney in the district of Minneapolis and holds herself in high esteem, and will put your ass to work if she feels that you need a good workout. She is open about her jealousy towards other women and seeing buff women was the reason why she became so fit in the first place.

Leiko Enomoto, Age 23, my crazy destruction filled OC
Currently going to the same college that Makoto Nijima is, she is currently working on her degree to become an architectural designer. Her goal is to create the tallest structure in the world and she already has a mockup in blender to show this design. Plus she has worked on designs for buildings like big bang burger. As a kid she was rambunctious and a hard time for her parents but she was still loved regardless. Part of this was because of her then undiagnosed ADHD.
When she was little she played around in her father’s workshop and had a hot piece of iron fall on her face and that created a permanent crescent moon shaped scar on her face. She is reckless and often gets herself injured for various reasons. Her parents were killed in a burglary gone wrong and she was sent to live with her grandparents who did their best to take care of her despite her ways. Eventually she was diagnosed with ADHD but by then she was just seen as a nuisance by a lot of people. And she played into that, cursing and swearing a lot, dying her hair multiple colors, the picture has her with rainbow colors but she also does warm and cool colors depending on her mood.
She is a tinkerer by nature, working on such things as a custom battery for a power wheels jeep, a custom vibrator (she is really open about her sexualness and is a proud bisexual, she’ll talk about using her toys out in the open) a potato cannon and a flamethrower. Her tinkering keeps her mind occupied along with the work she does in blender for buildings. She loves explosions and watches action flicks just for the destruction.
These are my OC’s that I’ve made since 2017 and I want to know if anyone is interested in me doing a blog with them! I’ve been rping with them with my SO for a long time now (Leiko is my newest) and been a really enjoyable time. If I need to I will put this in a readmore because this post is rather long. Thanks for reading if you had the attention span to do so! And please ask if you have any questions.
