Aro Headcanon Meme

I'm in an aro-positivity mood and want to spread the love, so I'm creating a new tag game that I'm hoping you'll join me in. Share 5 aro headcanons across 5 pieces of media and tag 5 followers to do the same. I'll kick us off.

Taylor Kelly from 9-1-1. My darling, dearest aro headcanon. My career girl. My I want a person I can share my life with, but on my own terms while keeping my independence Queen.

Avery Morgan from Doctor Odyssey. No falling in love on her bucket list. As vital a piece of the Odycule as Max and Tristan, whether her love for them is platonic or not, and I simply must stan.

Natasha Trace from Top Gun: Maverick. Is Bradley Bradshaw her platonic life partner? Yes. Does she need Jake and Bradley to get their shit together because Bradley keeps coming to her with his lovelorn woes like they're in an Austin novel and she does not know how to deal with that? Also yes.

Mick Rory from The Flash/Legends of Tomorrow. Literal divorce arc with his platonic life partner. Needs to be loved like a feral cat. Don't smother him. Respect his space. Take the love he has to give the way he has to give it because it's so special actually.

Abed Nadir from Community. There's love like The Notebook and there's love like The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, and maybe that's a distinction Abed can make when it comes to film theory, but that boy has never once loved Troy or Annie or Jeff in a way that makes that distinction feel relevant in his own life. Maybe it's the autism, maybe it's the aromanticism, and maybe there's absolutely no fucking point in holding those identities up as two separate things that can be experienced independently of one another, and honestly, same king.

The first character I fell in love with: Amaya.

The character who is my “baby:” In the end, it was Gidget. Who knew?

The character you do not understand: There are many, but the most inscrutable is probably Martin Stein. What’s his deal? What does he want?

The character that I think the show ruined: John. I don’t get why they couldn’t have written him off without him entirely imploding.

The most attractive male & female character: This question PAINS me in 2 different ways. I’m going to go with Jax, I guess? What even are men? And it’s a very tight battle between Talas and Maisies but I’m giving the win to Amaya because she could 100% murder me.

The character death that was the worst for me: When everybody died in season 5. The combo of Sara knowing it was coming and being unable to stop it, Ava’s reaction when Sara went down, the surprise Astra stabbing, and Charlie being the only survivor… it didn’t last, but it hurt.

The character that is the most like me: I’m Mona with a pinch of Ava. Millennial writer/reader who is over educated and underappreciated and just desperately wants to be part of the team. But with anxiety, spreadsheets, and lesbianism.

The character I think the writers love: Totally contradicting myself here, but John up until they had to get rid of him.

The character that I just want to be happy: Astra. Obviously all of them, but I’m picking Astra because she doesn’t really know how, so she needs the help.

My 4 favorite characters: Zari, Zari, Charlie, Astra

20 Questions for fic writers

I was tagged by @racerchix21 and @tizniz (retroactively lol) quite a while ago but I'm just now getting around to doing this.. This is the first time in forever I've been on a device that hasn't been my phone or ipad.

1-How many works do you have on ao3?

Currently.. 2.. 😅😅 I had 3 and one point but I deleted one thing that in the end I didn't like. HOWEVER I currently have about 4 or 5 WiPs that I'm hoping to maybe start posting some more stuff soonish if life stops getting in the way.

Currently: 9-1-1 (during my ff.net days I've also done some Stargate stuff as well).

Published or unpublished? 🤣 If we're going with PUBLISHED, then I had (guess it's still there) a Stargate Atlantis/Torchwood crossover over on ff.net. UNPUBLISHED.. well then we'll probably have to go with my Legends of Tomorrow/Power Rangers Dino Charge (It's a multiverse story that didn't feature the characters/crew in the show other than a mention here or there... that has now bled a bit into 911 territory as well) that may or may not ever see the light of day... Depends on my mood.

Don't think so. Nothing has probably ever been good enough to warrant theft haha

Contributed some ideas but nothing more than that.

Probably gonna get some hate here but... oh well.. -Chiley (Chase/Riley), Buddie (Buck/Eddie), Tevan (Buck/Tommy), Stackhouse/Markham (this was from Stargate Atlantis and let me tell you.. for two extremely minor characters, those two launched an impressive ship!! Hell they didn't even have first names!! And yes, I jumped in on that ship as well! Obviously since I'm mentioning it!)

15-What’s a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

Probably the Stargate Atlantis/Torchwood one... Or my "Silver Saber" story (Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.. My mind does drift back to that idea every so often but I doubt I'll ever redo anything with it.)

Creating the general idea/premise probably.

Actually putting thoughts into words that sound good.

If it works/fits then I'm all for it I guess but... thats about it.

Power Rangers.. I've always been the creative kid and I was writing fanfic BEFORE I even knew that was a thing.. I was just "writing stories" at that point lol

Don't have one yet.. I like some of my ideas but I don't really have a favorite story YET to be honest.

Not part of the questionnaire thing but I'm thinking about starting a side blog just for writing stuff, the kinda give updates and share ideas even if I'm not able to get any actual writing or posting done... haven't decided fully yet.
