Daisy Duck and April, May and June Duck - The Legend of The Three Caballeros - Sheldgoose Square Dance - Happy birthday Daisy Duck!
On June 7, 1940, Daisy Duck appeared in the classic short "Mr Duck Steps Out" and on that occasion I decided to post this video clip again, since the previous one on the occasion of Mother's Day was not working properly (problem in the tags as far as I know ). The rest is the same.
An excerpt from the episode “Sheldgoose Square Dance” from The Legend of The Three Caballeros. Yes, even though Daisy had some really bad moments in that series, this was one of the best parts of her in my opinion, when she helps her nieces, April, May, and June with the drafting of the will left by Donald’s great-grandfather Clinton Coot. Daisy put it together like a puzzle and said this: “I’ve always been the Puzzle Champion and they call me Gipsy Daisy because I’m Puzzle Crazy!”
And May says, “Right?”
Certainly, in my opinion, this is perhaps the only moment of the relationship between Daisy and her nieces in the animation, since unfortunately there is none, although there is a lot of it in the comics, this is certainly proof that Daisy gets along well with her nieces and that she is a great parent even though their aunt.
Happy birthday Daisy Duck and if you are a fan of Daisy Duck and her nieces, please like and reblog this!

I have 6 sides - Cartoon and Comic Edition - Meme - Crossover - Donald Duck and The Three Caballeros, Looney Tunes, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Woody Woodpecker, Sponge Bob Squarepants, Tom and Jerry and Garfield - My version
I haven't drawn for a long time again, and now I'm drawing it, this time with other cartoon characters and comic book characters that I also loved to watch and read when I was little, and now I love to enjoy it. This time I did a different meme, and what I drew is similar to six of my favorite characters as my meme, otherwise this is more current on TikTok so you can see more here: https://www.tiktok.com/discover/i-have-six-sides-template
As my template from where I got it, of course. Not only do I draw Disney ducks, I drew other characters that I love that I enjoyed as a little boy, and I still enjoy now, so I decided to draw my other favorite characters from other franchises. I hope you recognize them.
The first is certainly the Three Caballeros (Donald Duck, Jose Carioca and Panchito Pistoles) together with Donald's nephews (Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck) and Aracuan Bird as my favorite characters from the Duckverse (the universe of Donald Duck, as the best part of Disney that I love the most), otherwise I drew as a redraw from The Legend of The Three Caballeros poster. The second is the Acme universe, which is the Looney Tunes, Tiny Toons and Animaniacs cartoons in one place, since I feel they share the same universe even though they deviate from the original Looney Tunes. I draw my favorite characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Buster Bunny and Plucky Duck (Bugs and Daffy's students) and the brothers Yakko and Wakko Warner. The third is Woody Woodpecker with his famous laugh, along with his nephew Knothead and niece Splinter plus his rival and neighbor Wally Walrus and friend Andy Panda. All these characters were invented by Walter Lantz and belong to Universal.
The fourth one is definitely SpongeBob SquarePants along with Patrick Starfish and Squidward Tentacles and drawn as a redraw from one of my favorite episodes "Idiot Box" where SpongeBob shows a rainbow as IMAGINATION! All these characters were invented by Stephen Hillenburg and this year SpongeBob had its 25th anniversary. The fifth cartoon is definitely Tom and Jerry, definitely the best golden era cartoon of all time, along with Nibbles (Jerry's nephew) with his dog Spike the Bulldog and his son Tyke. All these characters were invented by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. And finally the sixth drawing showing Garfield the cat eating lasagna, with Odie the dumb dog and Jon Arbuckle, his owner and best friend. All these characters were invented by Jim Davis and last year had its 45th anniversary (on Garfield). Yes, drawn on Monday, the day of the week that Garfield hates.
I hope you like these cartoons and feel free to like and reblog this and feel free to tell which are your favorite cartoons that you enjoyed. Just don't copy these same ideas of mine and these characters without mentioning me. Thank you!

New Rejected Disney Television Animation Pilots Unveiled "Odd Jobs" and "Portal Hoppers"
Recently we unveiled a a look to the rejected Disney TVA series Uncookedland, apparently Matt Danner ("Legend Of The Three Caballeros") worked as Director for the pilot.
As Danner was thanking the people for seeing the pilots where here worked on ("Shred Force", "MEGA, MEGA Whoosh" and Uncookeland"). Cartoon Network Studios creator Andrew Dickman ("Harmony In Despair") mentioned a pilot under the name "Odd Jobs" where he worked on.
Tumblr media
Not many information for Odd Jobs or it's creator is available however based on it's title we can assume is a wacky episodic comedy about the mcs having multiple jobs.
youtube
Recently JJ Villard attended the Creative Block podcast where he commented about his career as cartoonist/animator that lead to create the Adult Swim series "King Star King" and "JJ's Villard Fairy Tales" and the Cartoon Cartoons short "Scaredy Cat" that according to him almost lead him to be blacklisted after trying to sell it to Nickelodeon since Warner Bros/Cartoon Network dosn't want to release it and apparently broke the NDA contract.
Tumblr media
During the podcast Villard revealed that he had a small overall development deal with Disney Television Animation with a show under the name "Portal Hoppers" according to Villard the series was aiming to be for Disney XD, as it's name says the show would have been about multiverse dimension hopping alongside the likes of Star Vs The Forces of Evil by Daron Nefcy, Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero by Jared Bush and Sam Levine and Very Important House by Jenny Goldberg and Jhonen Vasquez this is the only information so far.
Likely "Portal Hoppers" was passed when Disney decided to bring back all DTVA series in development for the Disney Channel which made Portal Hoppers to feel out of place with the demographic Disney Channel is know for.

A deleted frame from an episode of Legend of the Three Caballeros that was cut for being too sexual. There was another with Panchito. But that frame is confirmed to be lost to time.

AU idea: In the last episode from DT17 s3, Donald really fell into the portal but, instead killing him or annul his existence, he went to another dimension alongside with the people who worked with Bradford (his brothers and Black Heron), especifically the Legend of The Three Caballeros (Lottc) World. The villans fell in a different place than Donald, planning their way to return to their dimension while he was trying to return too and having adventures with José, Panchito and Xandra in the most of the time.
In the other side, Scrooge and Della almost killed Bradford for the happened, he's bad but alive in the hospital now just because they need him to find Donald. The kids, Gyro, Fenton and Manny are trying to do a portal to rescue Donald, but they doesn't know even if he's still alive.
Scrooge feels soooo guilty about this and he's working hard to be a good parent for his clone daughter Webby. Daisy is totally devastated, but putting all of her strongness in May and June's rearing, because adopting the girls was the last thing Donald talked about with her in the phone.
The season 4 is totally about Donald having magical adventures with his friends, Black Heron trying to dominate the lottc world and return home, Webby, Beakley and Scrooge's relationship and the Duck Family having adventures and doing the pretty impossible to find Donald, because these ducks don't back down!

things that happened in the legend of the three caballeros
the main villain is a snarky, bitter evil staff
they go to egypt and discover the pyramids are actually rocketships full of space mummies. they end up on the moon fighting an army of moon bots. i have no explanation for any of this
the easter island heads are revealed to be guardians buried in the ground up to their heads, tasked with stomping on underground lava lizards to keep them from escaping the volcano and destroying the world. the villain convinces them to have a party instead and the lizards get out so the caballeros have to come save the day. the lava lizard queen is massive and round and likes to say "MY GOOOooOooOOO!!!" and it's uncomfortable
theres an episode where they get teleported to goblin town and it's randomly a musical for a while
theres a monster in the goblin episode called the "baydoodior" and i cannot figure out what the fuck that name is supposed to be. if its a pun or something it is not landing at all for me
they meet the ghost of george washington at mt rushmore. and also abe lincoln. i kind of wasnt paying attention for most of that but it sure happened
xandra the goddess of adventure is a major character through the series, she looks like a human woman hanging out with all these bird characters and is really out of place but she's pretty funny sometimes, anyway she briefly has a romantic fling with Death. she didn't know he was death at the time though. josé also briefly flirts/dances with Life
they go into a Line Dimension through the nazca lines and a monkey sings a song which is like 80% just the word "line"
Tumblr media
most episodes dont have songs and they always seem completely out of left field whenever they appear
the caballeros wind up in the underworld and daisy's nieces summon panchito through a seance with an unfinished slice of pizza

Donald Duck gets fired - Quack Pack and The Legend of The Three Caballeros - Video Clip
Donald Duck has worked many jobs in many cartoons and comics, but whenever bad things happen to him, he gets fired. So in Quack Pack and The Legend of The Three Caballeros. In Quack Pack, Donald was a cameraman working for Kent Powers, but in the episode "Pride Goeth Before the Fall Guy", he is fired under sabotage by Nigel Nightshade. Although Daisy defended him, Kent Powers still fired him.
In the episode "Dope-A Cabana", Donald is a hairdresser and barber who works for Mr. Macklemore, but unfortunately because he couldn't give Pete's son Pete Junior a good haircut (Pete is actually a woman in The Legend of the Three Caballeros), he angered Pete and Mr. Macklemore fires Donald with "You're fired!". And on Donald's birthday, unfortunately.
You can freely compare, but you can see a big similarity that Donald worked for blondes who are very awkward towards him. If you want justice for Donald, feel free to like and reblog this!

This was supposed to be a few sentences but it kinda grew as I was writing down my thoughts, so sorry about the giant block of text.
I'd say it depends on your interest in watching old movies. If older films aren't your thing, their appearances in DuckTales 2017 and their cartoon the Legend of the Three Caballeros might do the trick. I really enjoy their appearance in DuckTales, as I think it does a good job modernizing them and putting them in a narrative story Additionally, there are only to episodes where they play an active part in the story, so you're not getting a ton of Caballeros content. LOTTC, being a show starring the Caballeros, is much better if you want a ton of Caballeros content all at once. It is a decent cartoon, but its characterization of the Caballeros is different from other works and I know it's been divisive among some fans. Granted, the Caballeros characterizations tend to change a lot between the different comics, films, and shows they appear in.
If you don't mind watching older films, I'd just watch The Three Caballeros film, or you can start with Saludos Amigos if you want to see the first appearance of Jose Carioca. The films are admittedly dated in many aspects, particularly, I think, in its treatment of women (Donald Duck is borderline a sex pest). If that isn't something you're interested in, that is more than understandable. Certainly, if you are going to watch either of the films, you do have to put them in their historical context and remember they were made during World War II.
Because they are war time pictures, however, they are package films, with the runtime being filled out with other animated shorts that are loosely narratively connected. Because of that, many have a hard time connecting with the films. Still, I enjoy them not only because I love the Caballeros as characters, but as a lover of animation history I think they are a great showcase of the talents of the animators, and you kinda get a feeling by the end of The Three Caballeros that they were running the show.
Anyway, I don't really think there is a wrong place to start; it all just comes down to personal taste. For a property over 80 years old, there isn't much Caballeros content so there really isn't a bad place to begin.
If any of you fw the three caballeros
Tell me how to get into it

Donald kisses Daisy Duck - Donsy - The Legend of The Three Caballeros - My redraw - Duckverse
I drew this on July 12th.
After a long time I drew again my favorite couple Donsy (the love couple between Donald and Daisy) and this time I decided to redraw scenes from the end of the penultimate episode of Shangri-La-Di-Da"" underrated series "The Legend of The Three Caballeros" and that's when Donald kissed Daisy on the beak and told her "I'm going to my destiny!" or "To my destiny!" in front of Baron von Sheldgoose's house or the New Quackmore Institute. Yes, Donald had to help his best friends the Caballeros (Jose Carioca and Panchito Pistoles) and the goddess Xandra in the fight against Baron von Sheldgoose and his ancestor Lord Felldrake who want to destroy and turn the world into chaos. Donald left Daisy with Ari the Aracuan Bird and Humphrey the Bear. What will happen in the end remains to be seen in this great series. Yes, I'm aware that Daisy had bad moments and treated Donald badly, but still after they were at the Himalayan Spa, their relationship changed for the better and Daisy had some good moments in that series. If that series had more episodes and lasted longer, maybe they would have gotten a focus on Daisy Duck. Also this kiss is my favorite moment, it's like it's from a movie. So I drew this as my redraw from that scene, in my own way. Thanks to Matt Danner and all the people who worked on this. On June 7, 1940, Donald’s classic short “Mr Duck Steps Out” was shown, featuring Daisy Duck for the first time. 9/6/1934 The Classic Short “The Wise Little Hen” was shown and Donald Duck appeared there for the first time. Donald Duck will become one of the main stars of not only Disney, but also cartoon films, comics and video games at all. Certainly there is no need to tell his history. I mention this because even though it passed, it is definitely one of my favorite Disney series that I have watched and enjoyed. I hope you like this.
I hope you like this drawing and feel free to like and reblog this, just don't copy these same ideas of mine without mentioning me and without my permission. Thank you! Also this is a gift for my friend who adores this love couple, dear @barbiedisneyavenger, @barbiedisneyavenger-reblog and for all of you who love this couple. And happy late birthday to Daisy Duck and especially Donald Duck, who turned 90 this year!

I sometimes wonder at the high turnover rate of cartoons these days. During the cartoon golden age it seemed almost expected for a show to run for five or more seasons (at least, as was the nature of Hasbro cartoons. Maybe because they did marketing differently).
But these days it feels like a show is lucky if it reaches 3 seasons, and a complete seasonal arc with a defined series finale is getting more and more rare. Mostly Disney shows admittedly, but I’ve definitely seen examples from other studios. It feels like networks are employing a cut-and-run technique for shows far more often now than, say, even 20 years ago, and it’s almost never by the choice of the showrunner.
Cancelling a show based solely on viewership doesn’t make much sense to me. I’ve seen mostly obscure pieces of media shoot to stardom because one person said the right thing at the right time. A new show needs time to get some traction with its viewership, especially if the marketing for it isn’t great (which Disney is notoriously bad for). Cancelling a show after two seasons, just when that traction is beginning to build, doesn’t seem like a sound idea to me.
Or maybe I’m just bitter than small, loyal fandoms aren’t enough to keep incredible-but-niche shows on the air. Or maybe I’m tired of forming emotional attachments to characters that won’t be around for very long. Or maybe I’m frustrated that there’s a constant bombardment of new media all the time and nothing ever seems to stick.

Entirely fair! Here we go into the wonderful world of weird things Jinx reads! And if they aren’t to your taste, hopefully they’re to someone out there’s taste lmao.
All of these should link to the correct thing.
Shadamy things
If The Glove Fits by ppeachx3 ~ Playing with the idea of gloves being important to Mobian culture and the headcanon I’ve seen a few times here and there of proposing using gloves instead of rings. Full of misunderstandings and Omega being a little shit.
Ups And Downs by Zehntacles ~I want to label this a cute first date fic, but it’s way more in character than that and includes motorcycle chases and gun fights.
Glitch Version 1.1 by ShadamyHeadcanons (HyperGinger) ~
Sonadow things
Tides of Chaos by LightningHikaru ~ I’m usually quite fussy with Sonadow stuff myself because it’s easy to pull them out of character when trying to write them together, I actually found this one while looking for fics about Omega lmao. What I like most about this is honestly the world building done in this AU, a pirate AU where magic, vampires and ghosts all exist, but robots don’t, it’s very much that world building that sucked me in. May well not be your cup of tea, gets a bit weird in there.
Other Sonic
Brothers by Vintage (Sour_Gummies) ~ Ah, the Chaotix fic of the list. As a big Chaotix stan it had to be there. A one shot about their bond in the early days of their team status and adapting to being in a team.
Welcome To The Parent Of An Alien Hedgehog Club by writingonceagain ~ A really nice take on the whole idea of putting Silver and Shadow with Wade.
Dark Boom by Smash_50 ~ What it says on the tin, a write up of episode style scenarios in which Omega and Rouge could be placed in Boom.
The Best Omegaverse Fanfic Ever by Smash_50 ~ Sonic but everyone is Omega.
The Sonic Chaos series by sleepfiction ~ So I’m actually a bit weird with this one, I’ve only read small parts of this and jump around it instead of reading it in order like a normal person, but specifically these two chapters are things I happened across by chance via a google search for Chaotix and Hooligans content and really enjoyed. The series itself is a series rewrite, which I normally do not vibe with at all, but I can’t deny this author is really good at this and at keeping the characters, well, in character, at least in what I have read. It mixes canons nicely to build up its own canon and can be really creative in the way it does it.
Ducktales things
Remissionem by Allmightluver ~ Set some time after Last Crash of the Sunchaser, the relationship between Scrooge and his nephews and Webby is still tense at best and during an adventure someone is hurt and it serves as a catalyst to try to talk things out. Very much a whump fic, some detailed description of medical things in this one.
Definitely Real Family by ExploringEarth ~ Gyro takes in Boyd as his son (very negative relationship with the Drakes version) but struggles with issues in his own past and self.
Time Alone by Korkorali and Tsundereanubis ~ Takes place after the finale and explores multiple platonic dynamics as everyone vibes at the manor but also has some good Scrooge development, I really like this one. Mild WebLena but I read this for Scrooge and Webby father-daughter stuff and also because Jose was tagged.
Feather One Divided (I cannot link this one or see the author name as it’s the one that’s user locked) ~ This works on an AU where the Duck family have magic and it’s a crossover between Ducktales and Legend of the Three Caballeros - the basic synopsis is Felldrake comes back and targets Donald’s family.
The Ducks And Elements series by NatureWitch21 ~ An interesting series written in a Frozen AU, with the elemental spirit things from Frozen 2 (which I never watched but hey I’m having fun!), definitely a bit of a weird one but fun weird.
You’ll Be In My Heart by Shychick ~ Gyro takes in Boyd (Positive relationship with the Drakes version), focuses more on letting Boyd be his own person and step away from things that were programmed into him, including making the choice to be closer to Gyro.
And on the subject,
CURSE YOU, MUSK!
Tumblr media
What's the one fic dragging you into the AO3 dark side? 👀 I'm so down for a fic recommendation right now. (Knowing full well it's gonna go in my TBR list with no hope of ever coming back out. 😭)
Good luck putting it on your TBR list, you wrote it my dude.
I can however offer you one of the other fics on my reading list.
Provided ofc you don't mind 8 Shadamy's, a pirate Sonadow and whatever weird Ducktales fics I have on my list (which I now realise one of them has also been user locked so make that two fics to make an account for-)
For everyone else, if you like fun fics with crack ships and also the Hooligans in general, When The Day Met The Night by Authorleaandres.
