Sorry, but you can't say "leftists have to disavow this awful violence on Israel or I don't trust them" and then turn around and talk about how you shouldn't be expected to disavow the IDF's decades of systematic human rights abuses and brazen ethnic cleansing in order to be allowed to criticize antisemitism. Flush with its “success” in securing the least popular UK government, in history (since elections were held in the UK) the Marxists in the Labour party are gloating and pretending that any policy they put forward has any support at all.

S, now the arrogant morons think that the US could benefit from the lunacy of the Left – joining up with similar Marxist means in the Democratic Party. In a sane world, they would be denied entry into the US or at last, the UK taxpayer (or UK Labour Party?) would not be funding this blatant election interference.

I wish I could be as optimistic as you about California breaking free from the chains of leftism. (I'd even accept making Jefferson a state.)

I do want to be clear here, I think at most they'll go left of center instead of the far left lunacy they've been supporting. I don't think they'll ever truly break free of leftism because too much of the state is overrun with leftist lunatics. They don't engage with reality as it is, so they can't react to things that happen in reality in anything approaching a logical manner. But there are lines that even the most Stockholmed "normal" Californians won't cross, and we saw that recently with the Soros DAs being recalled and replaced with more moderate--though still left wing--choices. And I think that's what will happen after the fires. I think, if enough non-far leftoids can organize behind a moderate candidate in the gubernatorial primaries, then that person will win the nomination. And in CA, winning the Democratic nomination is no different than winning the election. That's my most realistic prediction.

The 'Harry Potter' fandom and thus also the Snape fandom is in most parts so incredibly toxic here on Tumblr. Maybe it is just generally very toxic meanwhile and the stuff here on Tumblr is just one crass reflection of it. I try not to interact with most of their posts if possible but the crazy takes they're having are as pathological as most leftist stuff in general with a bit more disgusting stuff added to it. Usually the level of maturity of these people is very predictable so I was completely right when I looked if the fanart creator I recently reblogged from had already blocked me. He/ she had indeed. Wild. Once again I got blocked for existing as someone with Christian values and for politely stating that I disagree with their stance on J K Rowling. So yes, I do disagree with your childish and completely unreflected name-calling and bashing of a person you claimed to love yesterday and who's story is apparently still good enough for you to enjoy and to regularly create fanart of. You are a bully.

Recently I saw a post in the Snape fandom that was praising just how diverse and tolerant and varied this fandom is because there's sooo many different races and countries and sexualities in that. And I threw up in my mouth a little, just another brain-dead take on the usual "diversity" lunacy. I didn't interact with it because this is pointless but I bet the minute I would've said "Yeah, it really is such a cool and diverse fandom. I'm a Christian woman and I believe in traditional gender roles." I would've been called the vilest of names and been blocked by a 100 people and received anon hate for a week straight. Isn't it just always wonderful having an interaction with the truly tolerant and empathetic and welcoming group of this earth? :)
