Oh, that’s right! I totally forgot it was less that they cut the apology out completely and more that they just kinda replaced it with a shorter/less sincere one? 

I mean the one we got was like you said (”sorry not sorry”) but I remember hearing a sound clip a while back where Lilith talked to Athena about how she realized she was kind of starting down the same path as Jack and generally sounded a lot more like she meant it. Also Claptrap chimed in at the end about how “the awkward look on Athena’s face must mean she forgives her”.
