Junho + Fluff
(You remembered I wanted a pet for my birthday and you still got it for me besides our break up. Isn’t that strange for exes?)
Tumblr media
When you pulled into your driveway, the last thing you expected to see was your ex sitting on your porch with a small carrier case next to him. As you get out of your car, he stands up, and you can see the nervousness rolling off him in waves.
"Junho?" You ask once you're close enough. "What's going on?"
He opens his mouth to say something, but he closes it with furrowed brows for a moment before trying again.
"I know your birthday is in a few days, and there was a gift I was planning on getting you before..." he trails off, not wanting to mention the breakup. "I know how badly you've been wanting a cat, and I've been keeping my eye out for a month or so for one I know you'd like... When I went with Wooyoung to the pet store, we walked past these cages with the cutest little kitties in them, and I knew I had to get one... or two..."
You blink a couple of times as you try to process what's happening. "You got me two cats?"
"No," he sheepishly replies. "I, kind of, bought one for myself, but I couldn't leave the other one there by itself! Its little face was pushing against the cage, and I knew it wanted to come with me!"
The way his eyes grow big like a puppy dog as he talked about the cats made you smile. You knew how much he loved them and how he wanted to take them all and give them love, which is why he already had three cats of his own.
"Do you want to see her?" He excitedly asks, making the smile on your face grow.
You nod and head toward the porch, not even caring about how weird it is that your ex bought you a pet for your birthday, and as soon as you see the cute furry face, you're a goner.
"She's as sassy as you, by the way." He tells you as she reaches her paw toward you and mews.
"Good. I hope she gave you a lot of trouble while you had her."
He smirks at you. "Nothing I couldn't handle."

Late Night Cuddles ~ Lee Junho
Tumblr media
Your footsteps were sloppy as you walked through the apartment, noticing Junho laid out on the sofa. He could barely keep his eyes awake as he looked across to finally see you walking in, smiling weakly as he placed his phone down beside him on the sofa.
You had no recollection of how late it was, as you slipped your shoes off, noticing Junho sitting himself up slowly, stretching his legs out from the many hours he’d spent on the sofa.
Just as he sat up, you sat down, letting go of a heavy groan as soon as you felt yourself hit the comfort of the sofa cushion. To say you were knackered was an understatement, your body felt as if it was running on empty, which Junho quickly realised.
Yet another late shift, and yet another late arrival back home.
Tonight, seemed different as he studied you though, watching as your hands nervously ran through your hair, shaking from the lack of energy that you seemed to have.
Watching you broke Junho’s heart, he’d watched you come home several times over the past few weeks, but this one finally seemed to be the one that broke you as he wrapped his arms around your frame and pulled you down to lay across the sofa.
“I’m sorry that I kept you waiting,” you told him as Junho laid your head down to rest against his chest, running his hand along your arm.
His head shook back across to you, he was prepared to wait up all night long if he needed to, to make sure that you were safe. Even if you didn’t want to talk, which seemed to happen most nights, he would still be there for you.
“You don’t need to apologise,” Junho assured you in a calming whisper, “I know that you’ve had a hectic few days, you were needed at work, and that’s alright.”
More than anything you didn’t want to be needed at work, you wanted to be left alone and allowed to leave work at a reasonable time. You wanted to be able to come home and talk to Junho rather than immediately bail on him for bed.
For some reason though, he seemed to understand. He didn’t get angry or frustrated at the lack of time that he seemed to have for you, instead he just took care of you like he always did and made sure that you were looked after for the limited time that you had at home.
“I’m sorry that we’re having to be like this right now,” you whispered across to Junho.
As you tilted your head back, he brought his down to be able to meet your tired eyes. He didn’t want to listen to you apologise, and he definitely didn’t want for you to feel bad about what was happening, it was out of your control, which Junho understood.
“You shouldn’t have to stay up until one or two in the morning to look after me,” you told Junho as he tightened his arm around your frame, “you need to go to bed at a good time too, I’m not the only one that works.”
A soft kiss was pressed to the top of your head so that Junho could silence you momentarily. “I always have time for you, even if it’s two in the morning. There’s no way that I could leave you alone right now.”
You smiled anxiously back across at him, “you should be asleep though, you said earlier that you were starting to shoot today, that must have been exhausted.”
Whilst admittedly, the shoot for his new drama had taken it out on Junho for the day, he knew that he wouldn’t be able to sleep without having you home anyway. However long he’d have to wait, he’d do it, just to see your face.
“I’m not the priority right now Y/N, you are.”
“I shouldn’t be your priority this late.”
“You’re always my priority,” Junho assured you, continuing to keep the encouraging smile on his face. “It’s obvious how exhausted you are, even if you keep wanting to pretend that you’re fine. I know you feel like you’re burdening me, but you’re not, I promise you. I want for you to be alright, that’s the only thing that matters to me.”
Your head nodded as Junho spoke, as ever there was a clear sincerity in his voice that meant you absolutely believed every word that he said to you.
His hold on you was strong too, cuddling up to you tightly to make sure that you knew that you weren’t alone. He always seemed to have the right answers when it came to looking after you, even at such a terrible hour of the day.
“I’m so tired,” you whispered across to Junho, “what did I do to end up like this?”
“You didn’t do anything,” Junho smiled, struggling to know what the best thing to say was.
As much as he knew that you were working late because the people at work trusted you and knew you were capable, seeing that being to wear you down suddenly flipped everything around for Junho, he didn’t want to see you tire.
“Why don’t we head up to bed soon so you can get some sleep?” Junho asked you, “I’ll even carry you up if you’re tired, as long as you stay on cat watch for me.”
“That was pretty funny when you tripped over one of them last week.”
His head shook back across at you, with a tinge of pain still in his back from where Johnny had tripped him as he sleepily made his way up the stairs.
“You can walk up,” Junho joked as he slowly tried to sit you up, keeping his arms around your frame to make standing up with you in his hold much easier. “The sooner you get to bed the better, otherwise you’ll crash on the sofa.”
Your head nodded in agreement with him as you stayed clinging to Junho, not wanting for any distance to get between the two of you.
“I hate seeing you so tired,” Junho hummed as he stood up, carrying you still in his hold with your legs wrapped around his waist. “I wish that sometimes they would go easier on you, take better care of you.”
“Luckily for me I get to come home and be taken care of by you though,” you whispered, pressing a kiss to Junho’s cheek, “even if no one else in the world looks after me, I know that I can always count on you to be there for me.”
“Absolutely, no matter the time, the place, or anything else,” he promised.
Your head nodded back to Junho, knowing that he would be there for all of those situations, always making time for you as he promised time and time again.
“We’ll get you wrapped up nice and cosy in no time,” Junho promised you as he got you up the stairs and into your bedroom, slowly opening the door into the room and placing you down on the bed carefully to stretch out.
“I’ve missed this place so much; our bed is the best.”
A chuckle came from Junho as for once you seemed comfortable again. The weight of the world lifted as soon as you curled up in bed, waiting for Junho to slide under the duvet and cuddle himself up to you again.
“Our bed, with the two of us is my favourite place too.”

Three Strikes
Summary: Young-woo has caught the eye of high school baseball star Lee Jun-ho.
Tumblr media
Author's note: Not me writing a whale couple au about a sport that I know absolutely nothing about! 😂😂😂 everyone let's take a minute to laugh together. Please just ignore anything dumb I said about baseball that isn't accurate and focus on high school Wooho featuring oblivious insecure bb Young-woo and flirty and direct Jun-ho who knows exactly what he wants. (hint: it's the same backwards and flipped)
"Young-woo, wait up!"
She hears his familiar deep voice over her shoulder as she walks quickly down the hallway, avoiding eye contact with her classmates- some of who are usually her tormentors except when Geurami was around swinging chairs left and right. And when he's around, nobody dares to bother her when Jun-ho is beside her.
His fists were as powerful as his smile.
She had gotten lost on the first day of school despite the school secretary's very clear directions, fears of being bullied making her body stiffen in anticipation. Her heart had been pounding nervously in her chest and then he was there, his handsome boyish face filling her vision as he slightly bent down to meet her eyes.
For a moment she allowed it before swiftly looking away.
"Are you lost?"
Her eyes darted over the rest of his body that she could see. He was much taller than her, with long legs and broad shoulders. The school name was printed across his chest but unlike the rest of the students in the hallway he wore a white and red uniform. The baseball bat in his hand made it obvious why.
"Hello?"
She jumped lightly as he stepped closer, realizing she hadn't responded to him. Lost in her thoughts.
"Yes. It's my first day. I just transferred here."
She could hear his soft sound of understanding, she even managed to see a sliver of his smile in her peripheral.
"What class are you in?"
And just like that he became an almost permanent shadow in her school life. It was strange to have someone to walk home with, eat lunch with and defend her against bullies who thought it was funny to mock the autistic girl. He never stood for any of it.
"Do you think you're cool picking on others? You should be ashamed of yourself, you're all pathetic!"
All of it made her heart flustered and confused, and she couldn't figure out why.
Shaking herself back to reality, she slowed her steps allowing him to catch up with her although his long legs made that easy enough already.
She gasped as the weight on her back suddenly disappeared, turning to look at him in shock as her backpack now dangled off his arm.
"You look different."
He immediately noticed after only glancing at her face for a few seconds. She nibbled on her bottom lip trying not to blush or ask him what he thought.
"Geurami put some lipstick on for me. She said it would make me look prettier."
Not that she wanted that. At least that's what she told herself as his eyes continued to analyze her face. His eyes lingered on her lips for a moment before looking away, the muscle in his jaw tightening.
"You don't need makeup for that." He finally answered under his breath, walking ahead of her and she stood in silence not quite computing his reply.
"What?" She called to his back but he ignored her, easily walking to her homeroom as he did everyday.
Only then did he hand her bag back to her, she took it and turned to enter her classroom, smiling as soon as Geurami started waving at her- purple streaks in her hair today.
"I have practice after school today." She paused turning to Jun-ho as he spoke, she nodded in understanding knowing that she would have to walk home alone, Geurami got detention almost everyday after all.
"Okay. I'll go home without you." She tried to convince herself that the feeling in the pit of her stomach was just discomfort because this was breaking her routine and not something else.
She started to walk away again.
But with a few quick steps he was blocking her route, so close she almost walked right into his chest. She instinctively put her hands up to prevent the collision. This time she couldn't stop herself from glancing up at him, eyes wide in her surprise.
He answered her silent question instantly.
"No, I don't want that. I still want to walk you home, why don't you come watch my practice? It'll only be thirty minutes today, coach wants us to get extra practice this week for the big game next week."
Everyone knew about the first game of the season, there were posters and banners all over the school. It was all anyone could talk about, she'd heard her female classmates all giggling about seeing him in action. Even now his arms were distractedly beautiful, sinew and muscle coiling under the skin.
"They just need me to pitch a little bit. I promise it won't be long."
She thought about it. Running the idea over in her mind. Usually when she got home she took off her uniform, showered for exactly twenty-five minutes, ate sliced apples, then started her homework, read her sea life encyclopedia, ate dinner with her father before putting on her pajamas and going to bed. Going to his practice would disturb that meticulously timed routine.
She fidgeted with her fingers as she considered his offer.
"Please, I'll buy you that gimbap you like from that place on the corner." His eyes were like melted chocolate as he pleaded with and she could start to hear her classmates whispering about their interaction. The same question she was used to hearing and sometimes thought herself: why was he hanging out with her?
She responded quickly, desperately needing not to be the center of attention any longer.
"Okay. I'll come to your practice."
He grinned widely in response, eyes locked on her own as he stepped even closer his words low enough for only her ears.
"Great. I'll see you later."
And then he was gone and the voices of her classmate only became louder. She itched to take out her headphones, only marginally resisting the urge.
"You sly dog you!" Geurami greeted her with a hard slap on the back, she yelped while shifting away from her touch. The girl was too strong for her own good.
"What? Sly dog?" She repeated completely lost.
"That! All of that!" The other girl pointed to the spot she previously occupied with Lee Jun-ho. But that didn't make things any clearer to her so she just pursed her lips in consideration.
"Aren't you supposed to be a genius? He just asked you to come see him practice. You know what that means right?"
She didn't see what her being a genius had to do with this at all.
"It means he wants to walk home together to maintain our routine although it will alter my personal routine at ho--"
"No! Be quiet, what are you even talking about? Do you know who the baseball boys usually invite to their practices?"
She scanned the knowledge in her brain, analyzing all the information she had about baseball- home runs, innings, curve balls, words flashed in her mind but nothing about practice etiquette.
"No. Who do they usually invite?"
Her friend huddled in close, mischievous grin on her face as she whispered loudly, "Girls they like. It's just an excuse to show off for their crushes."
She blinked at the admission. She had never known that, and if that were the case then why would he invite her?
"So why did he invite me?" She poses the question to her closest friend, and honestly only friend besides the very boy they are whispering about.
Instead of answering though Geurami suddenly starts tugging harshly at her hair while screaming and throwing her body around violently.
The teacher enters the room at that moment, utterly unaffected by her friends antics ignoring her outburst to greet them all as the bell rings announcing the start of the school day.
So she pushes their discussion to the back of her mind, ready to accept new knowledge today. She loves school and learning, despite her classmates trying their best to ruin it for her.
Her head hurts when it all comes rushing back to her at lunch, she sits at their usual table unwrapping her foil and arranging her rolls until they are neat and symmetrical. He plops down in front of her a mere minute later, back in his school uniform now. She only steals one glance at his arms, his shirt cuffs rolled up and putting them perfectly on display.
He clears his throat though breaking her from her reprieve and when she looks up she sees a special glint in his eyes and a peculiar smile on his lips.
"My eyes are up here."
She feels her face heating up, embarrassed to have been caught staring. It was rude of her and she immediately begins to apologize, "I'm sorry."
But he shakes his head, smirking at her.
"Don't apologize. You're not the only one who can't help staring."
He's always making comments like that. Comments that make her heart race a little too fast.
Then he smiles innocently and starts digging into the provided school lunch, eagerly eating all his pickled radishes.
She feels his eyes on her periodically, knows that he's waiting for her to start talking about whales on an endless stream but for once she finds herself unable to focus long enough to spew out the information. Other stimulus are overwhelming her thoughts.
"You're quiet today."
She nods, "I have some things on my mind."
He looks at her for a long drawn out moment before nodding too.
"Okay."
And then they eat in silence until she's down to her last piece of gimbap.
She takes a bite, chewing slowly before swallowing and then he disturbs the quiet surrounding them.
"Can I have some?"
She pauses looking at the half bitten roll, then moves her eyes to his face. He grins back at her.
"What?" She says perplexed even going as far as looking down to see if there was more gimbap that she missed but there is none, only the one between her chopsticks.
"I don't have anymore. This is the last one."
He nods in agreement, motioning to the last gimbap.
"I know. Give me some of that one."
She looks between him and the roll, confused and slightly scandalized.
"But I already bit it. You can't eat the one I already started eating."
She doesn't need her flash cards to comprehend the amusement on his face. He chuckles when he replies, "Why not?"
She blinks, "It's unhygienic. To share things you've put in your mouth.
He considers her words, looking around and rubbing at his neck before completely taking her off guard with his next question.
"Have you ever been kissed before?"
She almost drops her gimbap, blood rushing to her cheeks as she feels her eyes widening and her heart shifting into overdrive.
Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump.
"What?"
He just smiles though, not repeating his question because they both know that she heard him, her reaction is proof enough.
"Why is that important? How are those things related?"
"I was curious, if only food is unhygienic or all things from someone else's mouth?"
This time curiosity trumps her embarrassment.
"What goes in someone's mouth when they're kissing?"
His gaze seems to get sharper, darker, a little more pointed, heated. She can physically feel it on her skin.
"Sometimes a tongue. Maybe some saliva."
She cringes at the thought of someone else's spit in her mouth, chills running down her spine.
"I don't think I would like that."
He reaches across the table, his fingers hovering next to her arms but never touching. She twitches from the heat he emits.
"Not even with the right person?" His eyes bore into her own as if he's not talking about something hypothetical any longer. He groans at her prolonged silence, those fingers slowly retreating.
"That's disappointing." He breathes out, voice husky and she feels her chest constricting.
When the lunch bell rings, she stands up suddenly too many feelings swarming inside her to stay still and with a quickly mumbled goodbye she bolts from the cafeteria too terrified to look back.
She misses his shocked laughter and him reaching across the lunch table to pick up her forgotten half bitten gimbap, popping it in his mouth with a hum of satisfaction before standing to throw out both of their trash.
She avoids him after that. Spinning around frantically each time she hears his boisterous voice in the hallway, he's hard to miss.
"You're so obvious. Why avoid him now? You guys have been not dating for months now. Did you just realize?"
No. They were not dating. She knew what dating was, had seen her classmates and characters on dramas. Her and Jun-ho didn't do those..... things. They had never even held hands or hugged. They were just friends and he just said strange things sometimes, that was all. She didn't mind, whales were strange too sometimes but she still loved them.
"No, we're not. He's only my friend."
Geurami rolled her eyes but continued to drag her to the bathroom.
"So why are you running and hiding from your friend?" She stressed the word out pulling the d until it sounded silly.
That she couldn't answer. Yet. She was still figuring that out.
"No answer huh? Well anyway I'm here to help you get ready for your first time at your not boyfriend's baseball practice."
"He's not my boyfriend."
Her friend smile cheekily, "That's exactly what I said."
She couldn't argue because technically she was telling the truth but it was clear that Geurami's 'not' had a different definition from her own despite them being the same word.
"Why do I have to get ready for a practice? I'm not the one practicing."
"But it's your first time at his practice. You have to look cute and supportive, like a good not girlfriend."
"I'm not his girlfriend."
"Same thing I said."
She rolled her eyes in exasperation.
It was pointless arguing with the other girl so she closed her eyes as she demanded and felt light strokes on her lids, the urge to move away was high but she fought it happy when she moved on to her cheeks instead, safer territory.
"There all done."
She turned to face herself, she looked different but the same. Her eyelids were barely decorated with a soft smoky red eyeshadow with little star stickers on the edge. But what caught her eye were her cheeks.
LJH

She rubbed at her face but it didn't budge.
"I used waterproof eye liner so it'll stay even if it rains. You look so cute, he's going to love it." Geurami squealed at her handy work but she felt no such excitement, only nerves settling in her stomach.
"I don't think I should-"
"Shhhhh. You're just friends right? This is nothing for friends. Come on, practice is going to start soon and you need to get a good seat in the front."
With that declaration she was dragged from the bathroom, her friends strong grip easily pulling her despite her attempts to escape or argue.
"Hush now, he's waiting for you. You shouldn't keep him waiting too long."
She flailed but to no avail, her struggles were futile.
There were a lot of people sitting on the bleachers.
She stood frozen in the spot her friend had dumped her in before leaving with a quick, "See ya later! I have detention again."
There were girls wrapped up in huge jackets that were clearly not their own, their significant others name and number branding their backs. She watched them giggle and point, waving and blowing kisses when they spotted their boyfriend.
She felt completely out of place.
Then as if clockwork some of them started to notice her arrival and the whispers started.
"What's she doing here?"
"Oh my god, what's that on her face?"
"Is she serious? She really thinks she has a chance with oppa?"
She instinctively covered her cheeks, realizing she was the only one who had done this. She couldn't help feeling like an idiot, an outsider. Hot shame filled tears started to pool in her eyes.
"What are you doing just standing there? Aren't you here to watch the practice? Don't worry about them they're just jealous that you're the first girl that Jun-ho's invited to watch him play." Someone said loud enough to be heard. All the whispering stops immediately as the other girls turn away in shame and anger.
She turns to look at the new voice and sees the pretty face of the school's goddess, Choi Suyeon. Gratitude washes over her like a wave, even more so when the other girl pats the metal seat next to her wordlessly inviting Young-woo to join her.
She ambles over, thankful for the act of kindness.
"Thank you." She whispers and the other girl grins in reply nodding back before her eyes are drawn to the tall figure of Myeong Seok, pushing the bridge of his glasses further up his aquiline nose.
She on the other hand tries not to look for Jun-ho. Instead staring at her feet.
How would she walk home with him with his initials on her face?
Jun-ho's arrivals is greeted with squeals and shouts of his name, and without thinking her eyes drift up and like magnets his gaze instantly meets her own. She watches a look of bewilderment form before a blinding smile eclipses it, accompanied by his joyful laughter.
He points to his own cheeks while looking at her and gives a thumbs up.
She blushes covering her face and looking away, she can feel too many eyes on her due to his attention.
"I think he likes it." Suyeon whispers to her and she pretends not to hear.
He's amazing. She has heard classmates talking about his magical hands before, the power and skill of his pitches but it's something else to see it in person with her own eyes.
He oozes confidence on the mound. Winding his arm back each time, all the muscles in his body working in harmony before the ball cuts through the air across the field and straight into the waiting gloves of the catcher almost every time. His teammates seem both impressed and infinitely annoyed with him.
One of them shouts out after his third strike, "It's just practice! You don't need to go all out, who are you trying to impress huh?"
This sends the rest of his teammates into a fit of laughter and she watches his ears turn bright red at their teasing, but he doesn't deny the accusation.
He tones it down after that but not by much.
She watches mesmerized as he tugs off his hat and wipes the sweat on his forehead away with his forearm.
"You should see your face right now. I didn't you were that type of girl Young-woo."
She jumps only now remembering that she wasn't alone.
She blinks at Suyeon's teasing smile.
"There's only a few more minutes left. He'll be all yours soon."
"What... What do you mean? What's wrong with my face?"
Suyeon chuckles girlishly before giving her an answer, "You look starved."
"But I'm not hungry at all."
"Hmmm are you sure? There are different kinds of hunger after all." The other girl winks at her before standing and leaving her spot, walking over to the only person who has had her attention the entire practice, who looks completely flabbergasted to be approached by the school's goddess.
She's lost in her thoughts again when she hears loud steps on the metal of the bleacher.
"I hope it wasn't too loud or boring."
He looked even sweatier up close, the uniform clinging to his body even further. She struggled to swallow and reply.
"I thought about wearing my headphones. But I didn't want to stand out even more here."
Instantly his face became stormy at her words, "Did anyone bother you? Who was it?"
"It's fine. I'm used to it. It's because I'm strange to them."
She watched that muscle in his jaw clench hard.
"That's not an excuse for anyone to harass you. If anyone says anything next time, tell me immediately."
She knows that he means that and history has proven that he will do something about it.
"Okay."
But then she processed the rest of his words.
Next time.
Would there be a next time? Wasn't this just so they could go home together, why would she come here again?
"You're a good pitcher." She says the first time that comes to her mind, changing the subject so she can have time to further think about his words later.
He preens at her words seemingly taking them as praise instead of an objective observation, she supposes it can be both.
"Glad I impressed you."
"Who are you trying to impress huh?" The memory replays in her mind like a video but before she can say anything he's leaning back and asking her a different question.
"Do you want to try?"
She racks her brain trying to figure out what he's offering her to try, but nothing comes to mind.
"What?"
"Do you want to try pitching?"
"No. I don't think I've ever had that desire before in my life."
He chuckles at her immediate response, walking backwards down the bleachers without falling somehow.
"Humor me." He beckons her to follow him and she can't stop her feet from obeying.
It's not until she's on the field with him that she realizes that they're the only ones there now and she doesn't even remember all her classmates leaving. She seems to constantly have that issue around him. It was quite the conundrum.
"Come here."
She hesitates but he keeps waving her over so finally she goes, heart racing prematurely.
"You need to find a comfortable position to hold the ball and then just throw, make sure to extend your arm and visualize where you want the ball to go."
She sucks up his directions like a sponge, taking the ball from his grasp and obeying his instructions to the best of her abilities. Unfortunately the ball doesn't go that far, landing a few feet from her.
She expects to hear his laughter but it never comes.
"That wasn't bad but you need more power. You didn't extend your arm enough. Can I?"
She turns to look at him and realizes he's moved behind her now, his body almost completely dwarfing her own. She has to look up at him over her shoulder.
"Is it okay if I touch you?"
She stills at the blunt question, feeling his hands hovering near her again without touching.
He waits for as long as it takes her. Silent as she turns his words over in her head.
"Yes. It's okay."
Shockingly enough, it really feels okay. The thought of him touching her doesn't make her uncomfortable, at least not in a bad way.
"Just not my hands. I don't like anyone touching my hands."
He nods firmly at her clarification, gently holding the bend of her elbow with one hand and and her waist with the other.
"It helps if you twist your waist and extend your arm fully like this, it'll lengthen the trajectory of the ball. Here try again."
But this time, he moves with her pulling her waist back and pushing her arm forward and she watches as the ball sails through the air, going much further that time with his assistance. Her body tingles everywhere he's touching her and she can't keep it in any longer, she's too confused.
Her back is so warm absorbing all the heat that he's expelling and it makes her hot all over. She can feel his chest constricting and expanding behind her and their closeness finally dissolves her logic forcing her to check the validity of the thoughts swimming in her head.
"Is it true that your team invites girls they like to watch them practice?"
Because they're so close she can feel him stiffen behind her, the hand on her elbow falling away. Which only forces her to focus on the hand that remains on her hip, loose but still present.
"Yes. It's true."
She processes that.
"Did you invite me here to impress me?"
"I think you already know the answer to that. I think you know the answer to very question up there in that amazing brain."
Pushing down her nerves she turns in his hold, putting them face to face and he looks taken back by her bold move.
"You like me."
He closes his eyes at her statement, nodding with a gentle smile on his face.
"Since I first saw you. Do you have any idea how pretty you look when you're lost? I had no chance from the beginning."
"But I'm autistic. It's not easy to date me."
There will always be people staring and judging, shocked that they're together and telling him that he deserves better. She wasn't sure that they were wrong.
"What do you mean? It's been fine so far. I always have fun with you even if you're just talking about whales."
"Do you....have we been dating? Is that way you walk me home, carry my things, have lunch with me, call me pretty and buy me gimbap?"
He shrugs at her, like it's obvious. Maybe it was but she just couldn't see it.
"Well, yes. I do all those things because I like you and want to be around you. I call you pretty because you are though, even your fingers are pretty."
She glances down at the digits, wiggling them trying to see their beauty.
"I thought when people were dating they did other things though. We only do things that friends do."
His brows shifted higher at her proclamation before he responds, "Oh? Do you have other friends who do what I do with you too?"
His voice sounded tighter, as if he was squeezing out the words. She could only blink at him no idea why he seemed to be in pain.
"No. You're the only one." She answers honestly.
Then like magic all the tension left his body.
"Good. Good." Then he was grinning again, stepping closer.
"What things should we be doing if we're dating? Is there something you want to do with me?"
"Kissing. Couples usually kiss and hug. We've never done that before." She says automatically.
Without warning he reaches up to cup her cheek, brushing against his own initial written on her face she squirms lightly at the touch but doesn't move away.
"Do you want that? To kiss me?"
She gulps at the look on his eyes, taking a step back to catch her breath but he follows her pulling her closer with the hand on her waist.
"I....I....don't know."
It feels like she's going to float away from all the butterflies fluttering around like crazy in her stomach, she can barely maintain eye contact staring at his lips before she realizes what she's doing and forces her gaze away.
"It's okay. We can figure that out together. I'll ask a different question. Do you like me too?"
Her gaze snaps back to him but he doesn't look confident this time, she can see a softness in his gaze.
Vulnerable.
He looks vulnerable waiting for her response.
It doesn't take long to search her heart for the answer, the one that's been staring her right in the face while she's been looking everywhere else.
"Yes. I like you too."
It's almost as if he's a puppet that's been released from his strings the way he collapses in front of her.
"Then, will you be my girlfriend?"
She stares at him, thinking back to her earlier conversation with Geurami and how adamant she was. She was the only one who was confused it seems.
"Yes. I will."
He smiles brightly, pulling her closer until their foreheads met in a gentle touch his breath fanning over her face as he stares at her.
"You're staring."
"Is that a problem? I don't mind when you stare at my arms."
She pulls away, walking away from him as a blush covers her face.
"Don't be embarrassed. I'm your boyfriend you can stare all you want. You can even do more than stare if you want."
She scrubs at her cheeks forcing the blush away.
"You promised me gimbap. Your practice is over we should go."
His laughter is musical behind her as he runs to catch up with her.
"I really liked seeing my initials on you. You should come to every practice and game like this." He pokes at her cheek, that dark look clouding his eyes again.
She walks faster calling over her shoulder, "I want two orders of gimbap." She ignores him and his teasing.
"Can I call you babe?" He ignores her right back.
She does get her two orders of gimbap and only flushes a little when he places it on the table in front of her with a soft, "Here you go babe" with the most satisfied grin she's ever seen on a face.

on the development of young-woo’s and jun-ho’s relationship
- I made a young-woo and jun-ho moving in together post a while back, and though I was mostly joking, I really do hope they get together while the series is going on, as opposed to near the end of it. some people say the development of the relationship is too fast. firstly, I disagree. this is happening over the course of a few months, and they haven’t even kissed by episode 8 which is usually the turning point in kdramas. second, it seems fast because there’s no waffling on young-woo’s part, no complicated love triangle to drag things out. she shows her consideration in her own way because it’s suyeon, and for her to have that awareness of perhaps being jealous shows the start of her feelings. but the moment suyeon points out the obvious to her, she wastes no time making things clear to herself and jun-ho. because she finds it hard to lie, there’s no opportunity for denial or misunderstandings.
- I find it interesting because this is the first drama where I really want them to be in an established relationship while the drama is going on. there’s been plenty of dramas I’ve dropped once the main leads get together, but I’m intrigued in this case, because despite the fluff, you already have a sense of foreboding.
- why? because sure, young-woo shared her feelings, but this doesn’t necessarily mean she wants a relationship with jun-ho. as long as she identified the feeling, she shared it with him. and jun-ho must feel so lost, because what if that is the case? even if he also has feelings for her, how does he resolve the stalemate in case he wants more but young-woo doesn’t?
- I now agree with other posts saying he seemed to be worried when he heard young-woo’s realization in episode 8. it seemed to me that he was steeling himself to reveal his own feelings, but at the same time also preparing himself to ask her, so what now?
- the thing is, he’s shown to be jealous in the next episode. while I love suyeon with all my heart, I don’t think jun-ho has ever been misleading. he’s a perfectly nice guy, but while he treats everyone in such a friendly way (even minwoo of all people), he’s always given young-woo special treatment (but of course within the bounds of professionalism). so it’s no wonder that he’d get jealous.
- but there might be complications there, because unlike young-woo, he still, still hasn’t made anything clear to her. young-woo has only been focused on how she feels, although logically she knows there might be something there because of how he avoided answering the cham cham cham question directly, she’s just reviewing the facts, but not really making any conclusion, especially with jun-ho not having said anything yet.
- so on the one hand, jun-ho doesn’t have the right to be jealous because nothing is clear between the both of them yet, but as we all know, that’s not really something that can be controlled. so I think he might even end up feeling bad about being jealous, but on the other hand this could be an avenue for them to finally clear the air between them.
- on the one hand, his being jealous might completely go over young-woo’s head, but on the other hand she might also recognize the feeling as one she felt when she thought jun-ho liked suyeon.
- simply put, they can’t push forward unless jun-ho makes his feelings known, and young-woo decides what she wants should their feelings happen to be requited. because I have a feeling, jun-ho’s want for a relationship will depend on that.

Autumn Leaves...
Tumblr media
Pairing: Lee Junho x Fem reader
Genre: Angst, Fluff, maybe suggestive?
AU!: Rival to lovers trope; Supritendent of police, forensic psychologist
Warning (s): swears, mentions of murder, serial killer, victims
Rating: T
Word Count: 976
A/N: Hey, everyone.. I am back after a long break, things didnt go my way and we're tough but now it's better because of God's grace. ase, it's a small request to kindly give your feedback. It means alot ❤️
Sorry for grammatical mistakes and dramatic ending.. 😭
Summary:
"Now, I realised that as much as most of us call fairy tales as overrated and exaggerated versions but somewhere and somehow even we wish to have for own selves, for us to remember and for us to tell.. It happened with me as well but by the time I started hoping for one, I didn't realise that it might not be the type of ending I wished but I still didn't wanna give up"
"Wow, Mr Lee that's an amazing write up and I can't wait for the book to be published and read it but please, excuse my curiosity but there is more to it right? As in it feels this is actually from your own perspective like from your life experience or something?"
"Ofcourse, it is dear Lia but wait for the right time though."
Chapter-2 HE IS HERE..
‘CHAOS!’ ‘FRETFUL’ ‘STRESS!’ and numerous words like these fail to describe the current situation that was prevalent not only in the country but in the departments that joined hands to understand and solve the crime. It was as if the serial killer knew each and every move and is three steps forward,
“What the fuck is going on?” Junho said in frustration as he threw the set papers in his hand towards the wall. “Junho, you can’t just throw papers like this! I know you are frustrated and so we are.” Taecyeon said with a sympathetic look.
“You aren’t understanding the gravity of the situation! The victims are rising and so is the cruelty. I am worried what if the next victims are—
“Junho! I mean Mr Lee and Mr Ok, here is the report.” You rushed to his side with the thick folders and gave it to him before leaving. “How many times have I told you not to run with these thick folders?” Junho said with a stern look before taking the said folders and started going through it.
Taecyeon scoffed and texted Jennie.
Me: How long will they take?
Jen: Guess?
Me: I don’t know? Days, weeks, months, years, centuries or even millennials
Jen: Or they won't ever confess. Don’t worry
Me: Yeah, take care
Jen: You too :)
He closed his phone and saw him making notes. “Found something valuable? “ He said and sat next to him. “The reports have given great detail about the gruesome killings.” Junho said and turned his attention to Taecyeon.
“You remember, the initial conversation we had with the Chief? We spoke about backgrounds, abandoned areas?” Taecyeon nodded. “Well from the recent documents and evidence that were found, most of the victims are directly related to the killer in some way. Though, this sounds crazy especially how evidence has been gathered or possibly if the killer is deliberately leaving his evidence to find him, but why?”
“Because we are next on his target list.” Dr Kim said as he came with the Chief in their room. “Sir!” They stood up and saluted the Chief and greeted the doctor.
“Dr Kim is right” the chief sighed before continuing, “The two victims through which we thought we were able to get a hold of that monster, what happened? Another victim was killed horrifically and was not related to all others. So, that your attention could be diverted and from the rough sketches that were drawn and witnesses were called, most of them said that the accused knew the victim somehow the other way. It's not just a gruesome and gory play but it has some connection with the accused as well."
Later that night:
You and Jennie were going back after a hard and tiring day. “This case is too gory and scary.” Jennie said as she took a sip from juice. “Can’t agree more. It is literally so scary that I have become paranoid at this point.” You too walked closely keeping an eye out even though the general public was there but who would take a risk.
There were times when you felt someone’s presence but when you turned around, no one was there.
Rushing through your apartment’s door and closing it, a sigh of relief came out from both of your mouths.
“Lets get changed fast, then we can watch some shows while having some fried rice and the side dishes.” Jennie said to which you nodded
Everything was going well and you were about to fall asleep when the lights went off. “Why now?” You whined. “Don’t worry it will come in a minute or so” Jennie said but sadly, that minute turned into 15 minutes.
“Yes, thank you” Jennie sighed as she ended the call. “What happened?” You asked
“They are checking for the issue and the generator will start in a m-
A loud sound was heard as if someone broke the glass, making you both scream. “Jen-sh-” and another glass breaking sound was heard followed by bangings on the main door.
Tears were flowing down both of your faces. “D-do you think, its him?”
You frantically called the first number.
“P-please p-p-pick up!”
“Hello?”
“H-he is here. I think. P-
Before you could say anything the call ended and within a few seconds police sirens were heard and the bangings stopped and some rustling was heard outside.
“Y/N!!!” Junho screamed as he broke your apartment’s door followed by Taecyeon and other police officers and the lights came back.
“B-baby” He kneeled down as he took you in his arms, rubbing your back softly. “D-don’t worry baby, I am here” He whispered softly. After sometime, when you calmed down a bit, you snuggled your face in his chest and your grip on his shirt tightened.
“P-please don’t l-leave m- “Never, angel”
“Sir, we found this paper crumbled and this pin” San said he brought the evidence.
Both you and Jennie looked at the pin before you both turned pale. “Y/N, this is the p-pin that you lost!!” Jennie lost her balance and Taecyeon helped her.
“What does that paper say?” Junho growled. San’s hand shivered when he read it
“I was planning to meet you, my princess Y/N and your friend. You are too beautiful and i hope you remember this article. See ya next time”
“You are coming with me” Junho said as he stood up with you in his arms.
“I-I won’t go with you” You said as you tried to go from his arms.
“ARE YOU CRAZY?”
“He is after me and I don’t wanna go with you all. I can’t risk your saf-
“Risk safety? Are you insane??’
“I am insane enough because I love you Lee Junho. Please, I can’t risk losing you or any of you. I can’t lose more people.” You fell on the floor crying. “Its all over!!”

Tumblr media
fandom: extraordinary attorney woo
pairing: youngwoo/junho
tags: fluff, wedding fluff, future fic, fluff without plot, kissing junho sees youngwoo in a wedding dress again, but this time it’s because they are getting married, they are so cheesy ugh disgusting i can’t stand them sometimes
summary: “Did you just fall in love again?” Youngwoo asked, supple pink lips stretched into a smile that was brighter than a thousand suns combined. She pressed her face into a bundle of flowers she was clutching and laughed—Junho swore he stopped breathing. He had died and went to heaven. Again. It was a different dress than the first one but he couldn’t help but flash back to that day, to that moment.
aka ‘junho sees youngwoo in a wedding dress again and still doesn’t know how to properly react’
preview: Junho dipped down, pressing his lips against her pulse point that made a gasp shoot through her body every time he did it. He said the next words against her skin, his warm breath caressing and coaxing her heart rate to increase by ten folds. “I thought I felt sick inside when I liked you; how do you think I feel now? That was nothing compared to now. I love you. Youngwoo, I love you so much that it hurts. To breathe. To speak. To move.”

firstly and lastly they did us dirty, i have no other words so you are telling me atty jung has stage three cancer like you are serving me coffee at 5 pm? wtf why was that so casually inserted into the storyline???? 😭 secondly every one of lee junho's questions, trying to understand why youngwoo was breaking up with him literally felt like a stab to my heart and then my man started crying and then they proceed to show pretty dolphins frolicking behind them? WHY WOULD U DO THAT
the plot about youngwoo trying so hard to find the owner of the noodle restaurant did give the episode some kind of wholesomeness ngl, watching atty jung take in everyone eating noodles happily like a proud dad watching his kids was THE moment this episode needed i am conflicted about suyeong and minwoo too, they were good to each other in todays episode tho PLEASE I NEED JUNHO AND YOUNGWOO TO COMMUNICATE before i lose my braincells
like i am even ready to bow 158 times if thats what it takes for that happy ending

Dream Project {title in progress}
Part 1 |  Part 2 | Part 3
A/N: The whole premise is actually based on a dream of mine but the details are somewhat based on my life. So please do enjoy! This would be in parts because I think it will be easier to read that way.
Synopsis: A young female CEO, Liviana Voss mistaken his pending business partner who is the CEO of a global entertainment company, Jayceon Stone as her assistant.
Genre: Fluffyy to the max
Note: Not yet proofread but I thoroughly thought about the names.
Word Count: 3,340
“Wow, right on time!” Liviana greeted the young man who entered her office. “Thank you so much for accepting and signing off to be my personal assistant, Mr. Schone. I really appreciate it! Because as you can see, I am a mess and a day without some help is very impossible in my case.” She says in a continuous manner as if not taking chance to take a breath, then checked her watch for the time.
She continued talking without waiting for the man in front of her to reply. “I still have a lot of things in my plate so I really won’t have time to talk to you but no worries! I had checked your CV, portfolio, and audio recorded interview; what can I say? I am impressed with everything I saw in there! I love how you answered all the questions in your interview on point as if your mind is a perfect match for me. Especially by how open you are on being gay, I can already sense from your interview on how creative you are going to be as part of this company. So please do not be afraid to tell me about your ideas with the projects I am working on. I hope it is okay to say but honestly, I did not expect your fashion style to be this masculine and I am digging it! I love how it shows command. Anyways-”
Liviana then picked up the iPad in her desk and gave it to him. The man just took the gadget without responding with brain processing what is happening and the word gay is on repeat on his head. “- I am really sorry if it seems bad for a boss not to let my employee talk, but I still have another meeting to attend and I need you to assist me to take notes. I believe everything you will need is in that iPad so just use that for reference throughout the day.”
The man smiled when she said that she is going to her next meeting, but his face darkens when they entered a conference room full of people. “Hello guys, I see that you are already halfway through the meeting I apologise for the tardiness, but I want you to meet my new assistant Jermaine Schone. I hope it is fine for them to call you by your first name Mr. Schone or is Jermain maybe Jer okay?’
The man remained silent as he is perplexed with what is happening and why on hell he is being called by different name. “Uh-uhmm anything is fine.” He stuttered to say. Only then he realised that it was a wrong answer.
“Okay then, Jer it is. So, guys please welcome our new member of the family, Jer.” Everyone welcomed him with an applause. “Back to business everyone. Where were we? I can see that all of you are already finalising the candidates who will be part of our inter-branch audition for the scholarship of being trained in our entertainment company. Well from the get-go, with what you sent me last night, I can say it is a pretty good set of contenders. I am pretty proud of your selection output this year I’ll give you that. So, do we have any problems or maybe a teeny-weeny concern with this?”
“Well Liv, I believe in our part everything is set and good to go. But we’ve heard about the Academics Department having a conflict with this event in one of their participants. So, I believe you should call your friend, Anne about this.” A representative from the main branch said.
“Oh okay, thank you Jane. So, are we all good with this meeting? Nothing to raise while I am here?” Liviana checked once again with her employees. But all of them answered unanimously that there is no problem so far and a formal letter will be sent or someone from the respective branches will go to her once such problem would occur. Therefore, with that, she adjourned the meeting and have everyone sent to their schools.
She dialled Annie Giovani, one of her friends who helped her to keep the family school business afloat while Liviana focus on acquiring an Entertainment Company to achieve her dream of integrating a private school with a Korean Entertainment Industry with a sure promising future for trainees. “Hey Anne, I heard from one of the branches representatives in the upcoming LV Entertainment Scholarship Finals Audition that we have a potential problem in your department. What is it about?”
Annie or as everyone calls her, Anne replied at the other end of the line, “Oh yeah about that Liv. Well, we have this kid Annabeth Caddel here in the main branch who is so adamant to join both events. For the interbranch in Academics department, she also wants to join the creative writing contest and the Extemporaneous Speaking. Oh, she is also part of the Math Quiz Bee and Science Quiz Bee Teams. So, it is a lot for a senior high school student”
“Yeah, I totally agree with that being too much for a senior high school student. Does she have any reasons on why she is being so persistent as if there is no tomorrow?” Liv asked more to understand the young student’s sentiments.
Anne was a bit unsure what to say so she just responded based on what she hears around the school campus, “I heard from her classmates and friends that it is actually because she felt like her future is already set by her parents, so she is taking the opportunity with the LV Scholarship Audition programme to somehow let fate led her to what’s really meant for her.”
Liv took a moment to process what just her friend told her because she can really relate to the young student’s sentiment so she replied with content and supportive voice, “I can totally understand so I’ll just say let her be. Make sure her event schedules will not clash because that is the least we can do with how persistent she is. I am sure no matter what Annabeth’s parents will still support her and let them gather and use all the resources they can access.”
The handsome man who still beside Liv smiled on how she is talking through the phone because of how he appreciates her way of handling things – always giving space and not being too uptight can actually help everyone around her grow and develop. He is amazed on how she is still sure that until to this day parents are still there to support their children even though it might get too demanding because of their trust to their child or children. How he wishes that is also how his parents raised him. Everything was so easy for him because his parents are very protective of him as he is an only child.
Anne is actually pleased with what her friend responded so she just replied, “Okay then, it is all settled. As far as my knowledge goes, the schedule seems good for Anna, so I guess fate is already giving her the signs. Thanks Liv, really. I appreciate your support on this.”
Liv is happy hearing her friend praised her, so she ends the conversation saying, “Well, thank you also Anne for giving me these kinds of insightful thoughts of students you are handling. It really helps me to understand and make decisions. So, goodbye for now and see you soon when I visit there or maybe your house.”
With a smile Anne on the other end of the call also bids her a goodbye, “Goodbye Liv, keep safe and have nice day.”
The call was ended, and Liv turned her attention back to the man who is still in the same room as her and instructed him to follow her back to her office. “Oh yeah, I almost forgot that I need you to note that I remember the meeting I had forgotten about an investor coming in after my introduction with you earlier.” Then her face has this confused look. “But I totally forgot the name. See? I cannot last a day with an assistant because I really suck at faces and names. Please don’t get me wrong I don’t have that illness, Prosopagnosia. I just have this problem even when I was a child. I need like time to familiarize myself with people’s faces but heck right now, I do not have that ‘time’. So that is why I need my seniors and assistant to help me with newbies and meetings outside the compound.” Liv smiled when she realised, she is talking too much again.
“Am I talking too much and too fast?” She asked.
“Yeah.” The young man managed to say with a small smile forming his lips.
“Sorry. But I think it is time for me to tell you another three main reasons on why I really need an assistant for you to lessen your growing judgement towards me.”
The guy was startled when she said growing judgement, so he tried to retort, “I am not judging. I totally understand.”
Liv was glad about what he said so she answered, “Well thank you for that but I still think I need to say the other reasons. One is as already evident with your surroundings – that I need help to keep everything organised. This is actually a never-ending dilemma that I have.” She laughed as she recalled her undergraduate years. “I never get myself to be organised that is why I almost got myself failed in one of my academia years because of this problem. Two is I need help with time and my schedule. Trust me, I used to be always on time and always got annoyed with how my mom is never on time. But only now I realised that when you are caught up with so many things that are sometimes hard to grasp, you will totally lose your sense of time.” Liv smiled as she reminisces the times she had always waited for her mom on Sundays when getting ready for church then she continued with her last reason, “Last and most importantly is that I need second opinion with all the decisions I am making. Because with how hectic everything is and never has its cooldown phase so far, I would totally need to have second opinion. Just like how vital it is when you got checked up and diagnosed by a doctor, always go for another one.”
Unbeknownst to Liv’s knowledge the young man may appear lost with everything she just said but instead, him listening to her has been delightful. Because even though most people might find her conceited for always talking about her, he finds her perceptive and a person with depth as how she always talks about herself, all of it are reflection on how she sees situations and people around her. He finds himself falling with that trait of hers.
“Sorry. Did I bore you?” She asked worriedly.
“No. I actually find everything you told me very helpful. So, thank you.” The young man answered reassuringly.
“Thank you also.” She said with a warm smile then checked her watch once again. “Oh, I think it is almost the end of your shift.”
“Really? I didn’t even notice. It was nice being your company.” He replied.
“Ditto. Oh yeah, why do I keep forgetting about that investor that I should’ve met earlier. I should probably call my old assistant when I get home.” Liv informed him.
He responded, “Yeah, I think so too.”
“I can have you leave early today since this was like supposedly to be your introductory day but I should probably also let you have the iPad from now so you can familiarise all the scheduled appointments already and have ourselves smooth-sailing from tomorrow.” Liv said as she pointed the gadget that the young man still has.
“Okay then. Thank you for today Ms. Voss. See you again tomorrow.” The young man said as he waved her goodbye and walked outside the room.
***The Young Man’s POV***
“Hey Dexter, what was the emergency earlier this afternoon that caused you not to accompany me in the LV Entertainment?” The young man asked his assistant as he took a seat in his penthouse dining table.
“What the- how does that kind of thing even happened? I cannot believe this. With how you dress and carry yourself, you still become an assistant.” His assistant jokingly said with a chuckle afterwards.
“My apologies sir. It was your father who needed my help with the transitioning rights of the company to you Mr. Stone.” Dexter answered his boss.
“No need to apologise Dex, I understand. But you did cause me troubles.” Mr. Stone said as he hands over the tablet Liv gave her earlier. “I think the CEO there, Liviana mistaken me for her new assistant. So, I need you to know why and how with that iPad.” He stated as he pointed the iPad he handed over.
“Well actually, I did not find myself got offended because she just proves with such mistake that she is not judgemental but just really suck at recognising faces and remembering names.” Mr. Stone said with a smile as he recalled everything Liv shared to him. “Do you even know on how open she is as if she doesn’t hide anything? She just says everything what her mind can think of – as if she has unlimited ideas and opinions. It is so fun to listen to her.” Now he is grinning wildly as he said those last few words.
“So, I guess it is pretty safe to say that you did not have a hard time attending as her assistant earlier. It looks like you grew fond of her, sir.” Dexter the older man suggested.
“Yeah, I think I do.” The young man said as if in deep thought then proceed saying, “You should eat dinner first and do what I requested from you earlier Dexter. Thank you.” The older man just nodded and went to the kitchen to do as what he was told.
Jayceon Stone or as some close people call him, “Jayce” and “Ceon” ate his dinner then proceeded to feed his cat named, Jovê and went to his living room to watch TV and read a book at the same time. He is the sole heir of his father’s international entertainment company called Stone Global Entertainment Corporation or as majority calls it “Stone Corp.” and Jayceon has always been an ace in following his father’s footsteps on where the company is heading in the present time. However, this project of investing to LV Entertainment and its sister company, Tree of Life Academy (TLA) was somehow his own decision and without his father’s permission because he wants to know his full potential without anyone coaching him. With his meeting with the company’s CEO, he can already say that he has chosen a great company.
Jayceon’s assistant comes back to his living room to tell him what went wrong with the scheduling, and he explains, “So it turned out that Ms. Voss’s former assistant got confused. You and her newly hired assistant has the same initials, J.S. and when she attached the notes in the calendar, she interchanged your profile information with Mr. Jermaine Schone.”
Mr. Stone cannot help but smile with fascination with the turn of events, so he says, “Alright then Dexter, call Mr. Schone right away and tell him to report to our building due to the partnership of Stone Corp. and LV Entertainment. Give him a suitable job for the week.”
Dexter was confused with what just Jayceon remarked so he asks, “What do you mean sir? Are you planning to be her assistant for a week?” The older man was somehow disheartened on how his young boss is using his brain right now and it is evident on his frowning face. “You do know that the two of you haven’t signed the partnership yet? You are aware, aren’t you Jayce?” He asked worriedly.
Jayceon did take notice on how his assistant is feeling concerned, so he reassures him by saying, “Yes, I am sure Hyung. Do not worry. Give me this time, just one week and I promise you that you can stand proud in front of my father with how I will take over the company. This might seem like a random act and not thought through, but I give you my word that I did some thinking and do have a plan. This will be purely business. Don’t tell me that you thought I had fallen totally for Liviana.” He just laughs away the idea, but he sees the face of his assistant being confused so he continues, “Wait- really? You did assume that I- well, maybe I did talk highly of her but that was all as a business partner. Trust me, I will make sure to have this sealed at the end of my given week. So… until then, keep father from bothering me. Please, hyung?”
Dexter his older friend cannot help just give in to his request and answers, “Fine, I will help you out but you promised to keep this totally professional, okay?”
Jayceon replies, “Of course! Thank you so much hyung! Please send me your revised scheduling in the iPad in the way I could understand before I leave for Liviana’s office.”
“Sure, Jayce. I will have everything prepped in the living room before you leave tomorrow. I will head to my quarter now.” Dexter remarked as he took his leave. Jayceon did the same and head to his bedroom.
***Liviana’s POV***
“Home at last.” She said as she stretched out her arms from the long day. Then she proceeds to her kitchen to heat up her prepped meal by her helper in the afternoon. As she prepares the table, she remembered that she must call her former secretary about the investor she should’ve met earlier. However, the only answer she got was, “The number you have dialled no longer exist.”
“Wow, how great!” She sarcastically said and starts to worry, which made her ask herself, “What should I do now?” After few minutes of thinking she realised, “Oh, I should eat dinner first! How else I could think of solutions?” After eating she washed the dishes and went straight to her room. Then while lying on her bed, she started to check through her phone and sees the need for her to start saving number instead of looking through messages to find the person she should call. Liviana then remembered that her old secretary had sent her a message of Jermaine’s profile in case she wants to check him out before their meeting earlier. So, she went her messages and called the contact number provided. Little did she know that her ex-assistant mistakenly interchanged all information of Jayceon Stone with Jermaine Schone. Then without thinking twice, she called the number.
“Hey Jermaine, I am sorry to call this late, but I have a problem. It seems like my former assistant already changed her number and I cannot find any information regarding the investor I was supposed to meet earlier. I really need your help with this one and it cannot wait until tomorrow.” Liviana said through the phone.
Jayceon who already know that this might happened so he kept his composure and not totally surprised with the phone call, replies to Liviana’s sentiment calmly, “Oh yeah, about that Liv. No need to worry. I already checked through the iPad you lent me, and I can say everything you need is in that tablet. I can totally arrange a meeting with you and Mr. Jayceon Stone.”
“Wow, really? You’re really amazing! I totally made the right decision hiring you. Thank you so much! See you tomorrow.” Liviana replied happily.
“See you and goodnight!” Jayceon responded with a smile.
“Goodnight.” She said and ended the call.
