Tickles for Tae pt. 2 (aka Jin gets the tickles)

Jin was in a difficult situation. It had been about two weeks since his bandmate Taehyung told him that he liked being tickled.

Of course, Jin was happy to give the younger one the tickles he deserved, but something had changed in the last few days.

As he tickled Taehyung, he secretly wished to be on the receiving end for once. But he was the oldest of the group and asking for tickles would definitely be weird for the others.

Besides…. what if he wasn't cute enough? What if he didn't react the right way? what if he isn't as ticklish as he thought he was?What if he didn't like it?

Unfortunately, today was another one of those days. He had just had another tickle session with Tae tae and as always it was just adorable how ticklish the younger one was but….Jin still wished to be tickled once in a while.

Should I just ask him? But it would definitely be weird for both of us! But I really want it! These were the thoughts that the older boy was so engrossed in that he didn't even notice Taehyung's worried look.

It was only when he heard his friend's worried voice that he was startled.

"Jin hyung are you all right? You seem very worried and sad lately?" asked V, looking at his hyung with worried eyes.

"Taehyung, it's nothing to worry about…just…lately I've been feeling the need…well…I'd like to be tickled once in a while," he confessed and lowered his head.

"Jin hyung?" Taehyung spoke cautiously when, after a minute, Jin still didn't dare to look at the younger one's face.

"Hmm?" was the only answer.

"Right or left?" asked Taehyung with a mischievous grin.

"What?" Jin replied, visibly confused.

"Right or left?", Tae kept repeating his question.

"Ehmm… right?" Jin said uncertainly.

"Good choice," laughed Taehyung, pulling out a fluffy feather from behind his back

Now Jin realized what was about to happen and took a deep breath, trying to steel himself for what was about to happen.

But as soon as the feather touched his sides, he couldn't help but burst into fits of giggles. He squirmed and writhed, trying to escape the ticklish sensation, but Taehyung's grip were too strong.

“You have such a cute laugh!” Taehyung teased his hyung. As much as he loved being tickled, he also liked being the superior one and having the upper hand.

“No! no! not there!”Jin shrieked as the younger male moved the feather near his belly button.

But of course, Taehyung didn't listen to what his hyung said.

"A-ah, Taehyung-ah noo-" Taehyung didn't let Jin finish his protest. His index finger made his way to his navel and dipped in there, swirling around. Jin's hazelnut colored eyes went wide before he stumbled into big belly laughter. His legs tried to kick.

“Wow. you are super ticklish.”Tae began the teasing again.

Jin didn't know what it was, but he had the feeling that the teasing made the tickling 100 times worse.

After a few more minutes, the younger one finally put the feather down, but of course he wasn't done yet. Next, he began to tickle Jin's armpits.

It wasn't as ticklish a spot as his tummy, but it was still effective. Jin literally squealed as he rolled around on the bed, unable to escape from his sunny bandmates evil hands. He was giggling and cackling, trying his damn best to escape but the lers hands were stuck in his armpits!

After what seemed like endless minutes (which were actually only 15), his laughter died down and he lay on the bed, exhausted and red-faced.

“That was so adorable.~” Taehyung cooed, hugging him close.

“Psshhh!!! Shush! It’s not! It’s embarrassing! And besides, now you're no longer the only one who likes to be tickled. Doesn't that bother you?" the oldest whined a little.

“Embarrassing? Bothering me? Not something that’s embarrassing at all. Plus I’m sure you know we both had fun!” Taehyung's words were carefully picked and his voice was calm.

Jin smiled happily and they both spent the rest of the evening cuddling and a lot of small tickles.

Honestly, they wished you were afraid of them sometimes. Then maybe you could see how they weren’t good for you. But then again, they were relieved you weren't afraid. It meant you trusted them, and that trust meant everything to them.

"Ouch, sorry to disappoint. I'll try to be more terrifying next time.”

The pure confusion on your face makes their heart flutter with joy. The thought that you can't fathom any reason to be afraid of them softens their features into a warm smile.

You're absolutely right. They don't even know why they asked such a question. Despite their attempts to come across as tough or intimidating at times, deep down they're quite gentle and kind-hearted.

Loud scratching and thumps at your front door wakes you. You wonder whether to arm yourself with a frying pan and then you hear your boyfriend muttering slurred profanities.

A loud bang reverberates through your home as he stumbles, drunk, through the door.

With a sigh, you crawl out of bed to check the state they're in.

Gun gazes at you, bleary-eyed and half focused. Slightly swaying on his feet, a very unusual sight of someone usually in full control of their body.

Then something clicks in his brain, eyes hardening just before he looks away. He tells you, tone disinterested, that he's a taken man.

"I don't know how I ended up here, but don't get the wrong idea."

He turns around, exits his own living room, exits his own home, and sleeps outside the apartment in the hallway instead.

"Yeah you're pretty cute," Ryuhei mumbles, words slurring together, "But my partner is cuter."

He pulls his phone out, drops it twice, unlocks it on the third attempt and shows you a picture - one that you have seen, actually one that you took of him smooching you on the cheek.

"Aren't they cute?" He beams, utterly besotted. "Let me just crash here," he says as he collapses on the sofa. "If you touch me I'll scream."

"Get your hands off me!" Goo screeches, slapping you away as you try to undress him and get him ready for bed. "My my, you're forward aren't you?"

Goo leans forward and gives you a smile halfway between utterly charming and complete sleazeball.

Then, all bravado evaporates and he sighs.

"Oh sweetheart you would be just my type, but," he pushes you off the bed, "I'm taken and very happy about it."

He lies down, burritoing himself and turning his back to you. "You can make your own way out."

Vin fiddles with his sunglasses, peering approvingly at you.

Even in his drunken haze he can tell that damn, you're fine. Except. He is also lucid enough to realise he is not looking respectfully anymore and he thinks of you, his ride or die, and his face completely changes.

He frowns and asks you what the hell you are looking at. That you have no chance. He has a partner at home that is much hotter, much better, thank you very much and yeah he's an asshole but he's not going to cheat so back the fuck off.

You roll your eyes, hackles would have been much higher if he wasn't actually being sweet in his own way.

DG takes a moment to process the situation. And when he does, he gets it completely wrong.

He plasters on his k-pop smile. The one reserved for winning over fans, interviewers and for his insincere apology videos.

"Did you want an autograph?" He pulls out a photocard from his inner pocket and a pen (and wow, you did not realise he carried a stack of his photos. You are not going to let him live this down) and scribbles his signature that comes with some love hearts and sparkles and passes it over to you.

"Here you go," he holds it out to you in both hands, not before mumbling under his breath, "You're cute but shit if you turn into another stalker..."

Jake is already asleep on the sofa by the time you pad out, which must be some super power in itself.

"Wake up," You give his shoulder a shake. He frowns, then cracks one eye open. "Come to bed."

He grunts something indecipherable and attempts to roll his oversized frame on your undersized sofa.

"Jake, cmon."

You start to drag him to your bedroom, your touch finally waking something inside and he bolts upright, removing your hands firmly off him.

"I have a partner." He tells you with no room for any misinterpretation. "But," he scratches absentmindedly at his stomach, "Do you have any food?"

Samuel does as he's told. Obediently removing his trousers, and unbuttoning his shirt, taking it off-

(Truly, you had no ulterior motive, you just wanted to remove the stink of alcohol.)

When, maybe for the first time in his life, he is afflicted with modesty and a startling clarity.

He yanks his shirt back on and pulls his trousers on with surprisingly sober efficiency.

"Absolutely not," he glowers at you, "This is not happening. I'm taken."

one thing about ptj's writing that always leaves a bad taste in my mouth is sometimes i feel he doesn't completely grasp the issues of abuse and sexual trauma, mostly and majorly for the female characters, but the male characters too.

take for example mira getting sexually assaulted by the cult leader and camp instructor, zoe's transaction with logan, club vivi, vin'mom being raped and killed by the shaman, sujin being abused and preyed upon and sexually assaulted before getting beaten to death by taejin... ALL of this feels so catatonic, almost unnecessary in its cruelty. this is a horrible world no doubt. but whatever he inflicts to his female characters seems to be done purely for the sake of shock value, almost like an indelible grief or hurt or helplessness a MALE character has to overcome in his path to nirvana. it is never shown what the woman feels about her own violation, no impact of it can be seen on her own life before she dies or simply forgets and moves on (kinda telling of the author's attitude towards how victims ought to react...).

then lets talk about the male victims. daniel gets stalked, goo and gun and eli were all minors who trained under a man who unironically touches people's genitals and brags about doing so, olly gets raped, eli gets groomed (i will not argue here about this one), sinu is shown naked often with the woman who brainwashed him. not mentioned in the comic but should be pondered upon is the fact that jake and jiho were in juvenile prison, a place with alarmingly high rates of sex crimes. dg is an idol who deals with invasive fans (sasaengs in real life are legitimately terrifying). seongji and vin were the ritual vessels for a cult. but this aspect of their trauma gets completely brushed under the rug, as if even alluding to it would take away from their strength and uhhh, masculine nature.

The Hobi cheer up pt. 6

Jin sighed sadly as he scrolled through his Instagram feed. Lately, he's been getting a lot of hate that he doesn't look good enough to wear the title visual and that he can't sing at all.

Of course he had already told the other members about it, after all they were his second family, but despite the encouraging words of them, all the hate comments made him sad.

But as usual, J-hope knew what would be good for Jin: a Hobi cheer up! But Jin wasn't stupid and knew what J-hope had planned. He had often seen J-hope do this to the others. And as much as he liked the younger one, he didn't think a bit of tickling would actually help him.

So he avoided J-hope as much as possible and spent most of the day in his room. Until one day Jimin came in.

"Jin hyung, would you like to join us in the living room? You've seemed pretty lonely in the last few weeks," he said, trying to hide the stupid grin on his face.

To his surprise, Jin agreed without objection and followed the younger one to the living room. But just before they got there, Jimin pushed him inside and locked the door.

"Hi Jin hyung," said J-hope, who was sitting on the sofa innocently. And now Jin realised that it had all been a trap, because now he was here, locked up with J-hope.

Jin banged on the door angrily, but it didn't help and before he could escape, Hoseok had already grabbed him and pinned him down with his hands above his head.

"You need this hyung", he smiled.

"Jhope, please don't," begged Jin, but fell on deaf ears.

J-hope started by lightly tracing circles in Jin's armpits, which alone was enough to make him giggle uncontrollable.

“Hoseok pleahahase! I’m too sensitihihive.” Jin squealed, but it didn't work.

“I think you love this but just can't admit it.” Hobi teased, digging into his hyungs hips, making him squeal in response.

"Coochie coochie co cutie pie!" Hoseok giggled, cooing at how cute his hyung was. His face red from laughing and his protests that are hardly hearable cause he's laughing so much.

Hobi smirked as he started digging into Jin's poor ribs, focusing on the lower ones to make sure he gets both his sides and ribs at the same time.

"Stahahap please!", Jin laughed. To be honest, it was actually a nice feeling to be tickled by someone he trusted and he hadn't laughed as much as he did now for a long time. But of course he would never admit that.

“ AHahahahah PLEASE I cahahahan’t” he pleaded. His nose was scrunched up slightly and he was a blushing mess. It was one of the most adorable sights to see.

The way Hoseok was poking all over his tummy, then lightly tracing one finger along his ticklish sides was just too much to handle.

"Ok ok you had enough", Jhope said and took his hands of the older one.

"But next time I'm gonna tickle you a looot more", he teased while poking Jin's belly button.

"Please don't", Jin giggled while holding his stomach from laughing so much.

"We'll see", Hoseok replied.

Confused and Concerned; He is gentle and nurturing to you. He might not even realize you're ignoring him because he wouldn't intentionally cause you to be upset. He genuinely cares about your feelings and wants to make sure you're okay. He might be worried he did something wrong and wants to fix it.

"Hey, is everything alright? You've been awfully quiet all night." Places a hand on your shoulder gently.

"Did I do something wrong? You seem upset." Looks worried with furrowed brows.

Cooks your favorite meal and sets the table. "How about we eat and talk about what's bothering you?"

Slightly Upset and Needy; He might be a little insecure and craves your attention. He might feel rejected or unimportant when you ignore him. Using playful tactics is his way of trying to win back your attention and affection in a lighthearted way.

Sighs dramatically. "Come on, (Y/N). The silent treatment? Really?"

Pouts and gives you the puppy-dog eyes. "Is this about [something minor you might be disagreeing on]?"

Whines playfully and nudges you. "Alright, alright, I'll stop. But you gotta tell me what's wrong, babe."
