Though this brought up a new question, how would he even go on about this? Gen being well… Gen, would definitely know how to retaliate in such a situation, so Senku had to do something that’d be unpredictable. Something the mentalist would never expect the scientist to do. With that in mind, a plan started to formulate. A cheshire grin spread across Senku’s lip, like whenever he’d plot his next scientific advancement, except now it’s solely for his personal gain. All that was left was to find the damn mentalist…

It didn’t take long to spot the dual-haired guy, his voice being easily recognizable wherever he went. 

“Heh, time to put this plan to action” Senku spoke to himself, before ungraciously catapulting himself towards the mentalist. Sending them both tumbling along the ground. 

“EEK-! Huh? Senku-chan? What are you doing?” Gen looked up with a dumbfounded expression, watching the scientist settle on top of his waist with that typical smug look that could only mean trouble.

“Just… humor me a bit, mentalist” without much further explanation, Senku’s hands started to rapidly squeeze the older boy’s torso. 

“Huh- whaHAHAT?! WAIT! SENKUHUHU!” Gen’s pleading words instantly got drowned under his uncharacteristically raw laughter. Rivaling the usual charm that the mentalist tended to portray. “Woah…” the scientist stopped for a moment to observe the sight. The sound of Gen’s laugh massaging its way into his brain. Watching as the mentalist tried and failed to keep his reactions at bay. “You’re stupidly ticklish, mentalist. This’ll be much easier than I thought~”.

Senku practically drank up the sight of Gen’s face turning all shades of pink and red. From his cheeks, spreading all the way to the tips of his ears. ‘Adorable’ rang through the scientist’s brain, surprising himself for thinking such a thing in the first place. That’s a problem for another day. Right now, he just wanted to see how flustered the mentalist would get, and so far the results were better than expected.

Gen could only laugh himself silly, anticipating yet dreading the scientist’s next move. It was going to be a long day of testing… not like he minded.
