Prompt 48 - “You would think you'd get less ticklish as you got older, but you're the opposite!"

“Wow really?” Raine teased. “Right here, huh?” They curled their fingers devastatingly into Eda’s upper ribs on one side, her side on the other. “Or… is it everywhere?” They smirked.

“NeheheheHEHHE RAHAINE! Cut it OOHOHOUT!” Eda squealed, toppling backwards into her nest, and further into the clutches of her tickler.

Raine made a pleased little sound as Eda fell back against them. They wrapped their arms more tightly around her and noted. “You would think you’d get less ticklish as you got older, but I think you’re the opposite!”

“Nahhh- hahaHA- no wahahAHAY!” Eda snorted, gripping onto Raine’s wrists as they tickled away at her sides and ribs.

“Don’t deny it!” Raine tutted. “Think I can’t tell how bad this tickles?” They suddenly darted both hands up under her arms, making Eda shriek with laughter.

Just when Eda almost managed to get a grip on Raine’s arm, they moved their hands down to squeeze her hips. Eda cackled, kicking her legs into the air.

“Nonononohohohoho- Rahahahahaine! Ahahaha-! Stahahahahahop it!” Eda wheezed, grinning widely as she laughed.

Raine did give her a break, then. They patted down her wild hair, drawing her in close to cuddle in the nest. Eda laid against their chest and sighed, catching her breath in a content snuggle.

Before she found herself nodding off, Eda peeked up at Raine and added. “I will get you back for this. Don’t forget.”

Raine blushed a little at that, smiling at their partner.

Eda winked, then nodded off to sleep just as quickly as she had spoken. Raine got comfortable and sought rest a little more slowly, enjoying the sound of Eda’s gentle breathing almost as much as they had enjoyed hearing her laughter.
