Title: Eda’s Foot Rub Fiasco

It was a lazy afternoon at the Owl House, and Eda was lounging on her favorite chair, kicking her feet up with a contented sigh. The sunlight filtered through the windows, casting a warm glow across the room as Luz and Amity were quietly chatting nearby.

Eda, feeling particularly relaxed, stretched out her legs and let out an exaggerated groan. “Ugh, my feet are killing me. You two,” she said, her voice dripping with mock authority, “better get over here and give me a foot rub.”

Luz raised an eyebrow. “Wait, what?”

“You heard me, kid,” Eda said, reclining further into her chair and crossing her arms, a wicked grin forming on her face. “I’ve been running around all day, using my powers to protect this place, and you owe me. Foot rubs. Now.”

Amity exchanged an uncertain look with Luz. “Uh… Eda, we’re not your servants, you know…”

“Yeah, yeah,” Eda waved it off. “You two want me to keep teaching you magic and saving your butts? Then this is part of the deal.”

Luz smirked, leaning forward. “Fine, fine… but, just so you know, you do have some of the worst feet smells I’ve ever encountered.” She winked playfully.

Eda narrowed her eyes. “I’ll let you live another day for that comment, Luz. Now get over here.”

Reluctantly, Luz and Amity approached Eda, sitting down at her feet. Amity was clearly less than thrilled by the task, but Luz was all for the idea, smirking at the thought of what might happen next.

As they began massaging Eda’s feet, Eda let out a sigh of contentment. “Yeah, this is the life. You two better start working those knots out—my feet have been through a lot.”

But then, as Luz kneaded one of Eda’s arches, she noticed something… peculiar. Eda’s foot twitched. Not just a little movement, but a full, jerky reaction.

“Did you just—?” Luz smirked, her eyes narrowing. “Wait a second. Are you ticklish?”

Eda, caught off guard, sat up quickly. “Pfft! Me? Ticklish? I don’t—”

Before Eda could finish her sentence, Amity took the opportunity to press her thumb into the base of Eda’s foot. Eda flinched instantly, her foot jerking away.

“Ha! You are ticklish!” Luz exclaimed, her grin widening. “Oh, this just got interesting.”

“Stop that!” Eda snapped, but there was a hint of unease in her voice. “I’m not ticklish! You’re imagining things.”

“Sure, sure,” Amity said, her voice laced with mischief. She pressed her fingers into the ball of Eda’s foot, and Eda let out a small squeal, immediately pulling her foot back.

Luz chuckled. “Oh, this is gold. Who knew the mighty Eda Clawthorne had a weakness?”

Eda’s eyes widened. “You two better not—”

Too late. With a shared glance, Luz and Amity both dove into action. Luz grabbed Eda’s foot while Amity tickled the arch with gentle but persistent movements.

“AHH! NO! STOP!” Eda cried out, trying to pull her foot away, but Luz held it firm, grinning at her success.

Amity wasn’t backing down either, her fingers dancing lightly across the base of Eda’s toes. “What’s wrong, Eda? I thought you weren’t ticklish?”

Eda’s face reddened in embarrassment as her laughter bubbled out uncontrollably. “NOHOHO! I’M NOT TICKLISH!” she protested, but her laughter said otherwise.

“Really? Because you’re laughing pretty hard for someone who’s not ticklish,” Luz teased, wiggling her fingers even faster.

Eda squirmed in her chair, kicking her foot and trying to pull it away, but Luz held her in place with surprising strength for someone so small. “You two—OH NO! STOP IT!” she begged between gasps of laughter.

Amity leaned in closer, her voice teasing. “Hmm, I don’t think I’m done yet. Your feet are just too sensitive, Eda.”

Luz was practically doubled over with laughter as she continued to tickle the sides of Eda’s foot. “You have got to be kidding me. The most powerful witch in the Boiling Isles is this ticklish?”

“STOP! I—I CAN’T BREATHE!” Eda gasped, her body shaking with uncontrollable laughter. Her usual confident demeanor was nowhere to be found as she was reduced to a giggling mess.

The two younger witches showed no mercy, having found their new favorite way to make Eda squirm.

Finally, after what felt like hours, Amity and Luz stopped, both of them sitting back and watching Eda struggle to catch her breath. Eda’s face was flushed with laughter-induced exhaustion, and her usual tough exterior had cracked completely.

Luz wiped a tear from her eye. “Wow, Eda. I think you’ve had enough fun for one day.”

Amity, grinning, added, “You’ve really got to stop acting like you’re invincible. You’re so ticklish.”

Eda was panting, still recovering from the tickling barrage. She shot them both a glare, but there was no heat behind it. “Okay, okay, you two. You got me. I admit it. I’m ticklish. Happy now?”

Luz smiled wickedly. “Oh, very happy.”

Amity leaned in. “But just remember, Eda… payback’s a thing. We’ll be watching.”

“Yeah, I’ll get you both next time!” Eda promised, though there was a mischievous gleam in her eye. “You haven’t seen the last of me.”

As Eda sat there, catching her breath and trying to regain her dignity, Luz and Amity exchanged a victorious look. They’d discovered her weakness—and they were definitely going to have fun with it again.

A few tricks up the sleeve

(Author's note: First fic, yippiee! It literally took me a year to finish, yes, I started in 2024, but I finally made it! So excited!)

Summary: Luz has been feeling a bit funny lately, and Eda just can't let that slide. The rest is quite predictable

It was slowly getting late, Luz was sitting on the couch with Eda, a totally normal evening. Except something was different for Luz. Everything just seemed so... fuzzy for her.

She knew what was happening, and she wasn't really happy with that. She had the mood.

"So.. whatcha up to, kid?" Eda said, trying to strike up a conversation

"Me? Uh, nothing much. Just thinking about... stuff, obviously. What about you?" Luz blurted out nervously, trying to switch the attention to Eda.

Eda noticed it right away, and became suspicious of the younger witch's behavior. She was nervous. Eda has NEVER seen Luz nervous before. Sure, she caught her being stressed about an exam coming up before, but this was different. Luz was just acting so... tense.

"Just the usual, daydreaming about people giving me money" she answered her question, then chuckled at her own response "What's the matter with you, by the way? Why are you so panicked?" Eda snorted.

Luz's eyes widened a bit, realizing she wasn't really good at hiding what she feels. "It's nothing, I'm fiiiine" She tried to play it off cool, but Eda knew better.

"Don't even try me kid, I'm not falling for that. What's up?" She said straightforwardly.

"Nothing important, really!" Luz refused to give up. She could be really stubborn when she wanted to be, and she wasn't going down without a fight

"Just so you know, I got a few tricks up my sleeve and I won't hesitate to use them" Eda said cracking her knuckles with a smirk.

"Like what for an example?" Luz said oblivious to her mentor's intentions.

Eda only looked at her, giving her the look that says "you've got 5 seconds to run" and Luz took off immediately after she realized what was going on. She didn't make it far tho. It only took a few seconds for Eda to catch up with her. They both were sent flying to the floor after the older witch basically jumped on the younger one. Before Luz could react, Eda picked her up and threw her onto the couch.

"Are you sure you don't wanna just say it?~'' Eda teased, then she sat next to the Luz and kept her hands on her belly.

She just stuck her tongue out. "Make me" Luz said with (fake)confidence. She was secretly hoping to get this kind of reaction from Eda, but she would rather die than admit it.

Luz's eyes widened as the other witch started spidering up and down her tummy. "Ack! Nohoho! Edahaha!" She squealed and kicked her legs

Eda smirked at the reaction. "What? Can't stand a bit of tickles?" She kept on teasing.

"Nohohoho" Luz giggled lazily, grabbing the tickler's hands "Noho teahasihihing"

"That's a no can do, sorry" Eda snorted "Should have just told me what's bothering you in the first place, huh?" She said with a smirk, moving her fingers up to where her ribs met her sides.

Luz was having the time of her life at this point, and Eda noticed it. She smirked again and then asked her "Woah, are you having fun down here?"

Luz basically choked on air right now. Her eyes widened as a blush spread across her face. "Huh?! No... Why would I even like that? It's childish and stupid and annoying, seriously I don't know what even made you think that- EEK!" Eda stopped her before she got lost in her own thoughts by poking her ribs.

"Hehehey kid" she chuckled "it's alright, I get it. No need to panic right away" then she just continued tickling the spot. She was a bit surprised with Luz's reaction. She didn't expect her to be so easily embarrassed with just tickles, but oh well. Eda wasn't going to complaining, the sight was waaay too adorable for that.

The younger witch was still giggling her head off beneath the older one. She was kind of a mess at this point, especially after being so flustered because of Eda, but holy cow did she enjoy it. The thought of someone wiggling their fingers on her sides, spidering them on her tummy, anything that has something to do with tickles, has been following her all day, if not even longer. She was just happy to be in the place she is right now.

In fact, Luz was enjoying it so much that she even stopped fighting back! She just laid here and took the tickles while giggling cutely.

"Oh my titan, you're too adorable for your own good" Eda cooed very much amused "Just look at you!" She moved one of her hands to Luz's neck, causing the younger one to scrunch up her shoulders in an attempt to protect it.

"Eek! Ehehehehe" Luz continued giggling, surprised with the sudden change of spots. "Sohoho you don't thihihink ihits weihird?" She tried to speak through her laughter

"Wha- why would I think that?! Don't even say that, I find it adorable!" Eda's answer reassured Luz. It felt nice to not worry about being weird, even though she wasn't the one to typically worry about others' opinions.

"Oh, ohohokahay" She said with a bit of relief, giggling freely under Eda's wiggling fingers.

Then the older witch decided to switch spots, and the decision landed on the armpits. Oh boy, only did she know that she was going straight for the kill.

"NAHAAHA!!" Luz laughed as Eda had stuck her hands straight into her armpits, locking them under the younger one's arms

"Hah, that's a good one" she snorted

After some time Luz's laughter slowly began to be more and more silent, so Eda decided to stop. She didn't want to overwhelm her mentee.

"U alright, kiddo?" She asked kind of scared that she had broken the kid

"I'm fine, thahanks.." Luz replied breathlessly, some of the leftover giggles spilling out.

After that, they both fell into a deep, peaceful silence. Luz was laying on the couch, enjoying access to the air, while Eda flopped down next to her, laying on her back and enjoying the rest of the evening. Both the characters just laid there, relaxing and watching the sun set behind the window.

Title: Stuck and Struggling

It was supposed to be a simple errand—grab some potion ingredients from the forest and head back before anything ridiculous happened. But, of course, this was Eda we were talking about.

Now, the mighty Owl Lady was stuck.

Somehow, while reaching for a rare root, Eda had gotten herself wedged between two thick tree branches. Her upper body was bent forward, arms pinned between the trunks, while her legs dangled helplessly off the ground.

“Alright, okay,” Eda muttered, struggling. “This is fine. I just need to—oof!—nope. That’s not working.”

“Eda?” came Luz’s voice.

The teen stepped into the clearing, eyes widening as she took in the sight before her.

Eda Clawthorne—legendary wild witch, infamous outlaw, her powerful mentor—was completely stuck.

Luz’s grin spread slowly. “Oh. My. Titan.”

Eda groaned. “Don’t start.”

Luz crossed her arms, trying (and failing) to hold in her laughter. “Wow. You’re, like… actually stuck, huh?”

Eda rolled her eyes. “No, Luz, I live in this tree now. Of course I’m stuck! Now quit gawking and help me out.”

Luz tapped her chin, her grin turning mischievous. “Mmm… I dunno. Feels like this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

Eda narrowed her eyes. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

Luz stepped closer, wiggling her fingers. “Oh, nothing. Just thinking… have you ever been on the receiving end of some harmless payback?”

Eda’s expression faltered. “Luz. Don’t you dare.”

“Oh, I dare.”

Before Eda could react, Luz reached out and poked her right in the ribs.

Eda jerked so violently she nearly dislodged herself. “GAH! LUZ—DON’T—”

Luz gasped dramatically. “No way… Eda, are you ticklish?”

Eda’s face paled. “I am not—PFFT—Luz!”

Luz’s grin turned absolutely wicked. “Ohhh, you so are.”

Without hesitation, she launched a full-on tickle attack. She scribbled her fingers against Eda’s sides, and the mighty Owl Lady lost it immediately, kicking her legs helplessly as helpless laughter burst out of her.

“BAHAHA—LUZ, I SWEAR—HAHAHA—YOU’RE DEAD WHEN I GET OUT OF HERE!”

Luz giggled. “Aww, but you’re so stuck right now. Can’t even fight back.”

She wiggled her fingers up under Eda’s arms, making her shriek and twist as much as she could.

“NOHOHO—STOP THAT, KID!” Eda howled, her usual cocky demeanor completely shattered.

Luz just laughed. “Wow, Eda! I always thought you were, like, unshakeable, but look at you! Completely helpless and giggling like a little kid!”

“I—I AM NOHOHOT—”

Luz danced her fingers over Eda’s stomach next, making her snort before bursting into even more frantic laughter.

Luz gasped dramatically. “Wait. Did you just snort?”

Eda’s face burned. “NO, I DI—BAHAHA—LUZ!”

Luz grinned. “Ohhh, this is amazing. I’m never letting you live this down.”

She slowed her fingers, giving one last poke to Eda’s ribs before stepping back.

Eda hung there, breathless, face red, her usual smugness completely ruined.

Luz crossed her arms. “Sooooo… how’s it feel, Owl Lady? Being totally at someone else’s mercy?”

Eda panted, glaring at her. “You… are so grounded.”

Luz snickered. “Oh, yeah?”

Without warning, she darted forward again, skittering her fingers over Eda’s ribs for another few seconds.

Eda squealed, her whole body convulsing with giggles. “LUZ—PFFT—HAHAHA—QUIT IT, YOU MENACE!”

Luz giggled. “Aw, what’s wrong? I thought you were so scary?”

She tickled up to Eda’s underarms again, making her howl with laughter. “OKAY OKAY—I MEAN IT! STAHAHAHAP!”

Finally, Luz relented, wiping a tear from her eye. “Alright, alright. I’ll let you go… for real this time.”

Using a few glyphs, she loosened the tree’s grip, and Eda finally tumbled to the ground with a groan.

She sat up, glowering at Luz. “You… are the worst.”

Luz beamed. “No, I’m the best.”

Eda crossed her arms. “You do realize this means war, right?”

Luz gulped.

And from that day forward, she was never truly safe from Eda’s revenge.
