The fact that I need to full on block terms like "radfem", "terf", and "gender critical" just to be able to scroll through the feminism tag without being bombarded with transphobia every other post. Seriously?
Feminism is about fighting AGAINST hate and prejudice. Wtf is all this gross bigotry doing in the feminism tag?
Transness is NOT a threat to womanhood. It is NOT a threat to feminism.
Trans people have existed longer than the feminist movement. And they have never been a threat to it.
Just leave trans people alone! They literally just want to live their lives! And many of them literally are feminists.
Trans women should be included in the feminist movement. They are women, and they experience a lot of the same treatment as cisgender women, often times even more so because they are trans.
Transphobia is NOT feminism and only hurts the feminist movement.

Algeria's Imane Khelif won the gold medal in women's boxing at the Olympics. She was subsequently accused of being a transwoman (assigned male at birth), but she has been a girl since birth. There are public pictures of her living as a girl in her early childhood. It's a ridiculous accusation, born of jealousy rather than evidence.
But there is an Olympic boxer who really is trans, and openly so.
Patricio "Pat" Manuel, also known by the stage name "Cacahuate," was assigned female at birth, became a champion amateur boxer in the women's division, then came out as a transman and announced he would be transitioning to male. After his transition and sporting a stylish beard, he once again rose in the boxing world to win his first male division bout in 2016, and was officially inducted to the US men's professional boxing league in 2018.
It's a myth that transitioning to female gives one an advantage in sports. But it is true that trans people, including transmen, can be sports stars.

i wanna talk about something.
i am a 15 year old trans boy. i would assume that when you read that, your reaction is "oh, that's horrifying! a child being forced to think they're something that they are not!" nope. nobody forced me to be trans. i thought about it myself. i knew only ONE trans person at the time that i realized i was trans (when i was 11). and i knew trans people existed. but my mother never talked to me about it. when i was a very little kid, i said a lot of things about how "i was supposed to be a boy" and that "i am not a girl, i am a boy." this started the same year i learned how to talk. i cried so much as a little kid because i "was supposed to be a boy, i'm not a girl." nobody ever talked to me about it. i even asked my mom why i liked it when people assumed i was a boy one time. she told me it was normal, sounding nervous. when i came out to my mother, she didn't believe me. not because she didn't think i was valid, but because she was in denial. she knew i was trans, but she didn't want me to be bullied, hatecrimed or even murdered. however, she came to accept it quickly. my parents never offered me hormone therapy or binders until i asked for it. nobody forced me to be trans. and i regret nothing. i don't regret being on testosterone, i don't regret binding, i don't regret anything. i feel like me. i never felt like me as a little kid. and yes, you probably think i am "too young to make these decisions." and i don't care. you aren't me. you don't know my mind. you don't know me. i am damn well sentient enough. im old enough to learn to drive. i should be old enough. and nothing is being forced on me.

My wife (a trans woman) doesn't even have a tumblr account.
But if you think I won't go to war for her to be able to be safe from at least THE STAFF of a social media website.
Ya stupid.
Leave trans people alone.
