Something really just. Nice that I noticed with the bros is that each of them has shown off some pretty interesting skills.

Raph is the one who fixes April’s ceiling fan for her, Mikey takes on half the work when making the new puppy rescue for Todd, and Leo is outright able to reprogram Shelldon’s AI (he messed up, but the fact he was able to do this at all is like??? Raph and Mikey were there too did they know Leo could do that because they were not surprised-)

Of course, this is nothing compared to Donnie’s own immense talent and skill for inventing and science in general, but it shows that the others are not incapable of assisting in his field if need be.

What I like to think with all of this is that they listened to and likely helped with Donnie’s various ideas growing up. Sure they may not get the specifics, and complex science talk goes right over their heads, but in a pinch they’d be able to get Donnie the right tool or set a wire back in place. It’s not as necessary now that Donnie is much more independent when he makes things, but it’s cute to imagine there being a time where the others had to pitch in and learned some stuff because of it.

omg I was watching McCann Dogs!! I watched so so so much of their training vids before bringing Hugo home + during his puppyhood and it helped so much. these are some of the ones that I really Studied early on to give me a blueprint of how to start from ground zero w my boy

It's wild how people push you to develop self love out of thin air when you grew up not being loved. "You have to love yourself before anyone else loves you"--bullshit. Your parents loved you before you had a concept of self. Some of us don't have that privileged experience. The things that helped me stop hating myself so intensely: -Being loved by someone when I didn't love myself. -Working toward mastering a skill, thereby giving myself a foundation to build a sense of self on.

I just achieved Perfection for the first time ever on Stardew Valley and I'm just, so stoked I can't even explain it.

As someone who previously could hardly make it into Year 2 before I got bored/burn out the fact that I played this save for FOUR MONTHS and have over 120 hours in it and am half way through Year 4...

I'm just so happy. I had to share.

I used a lot of journaling/note taking and encouraged myself to take breaks as a way to help prevent burnout. I've learned a lot on how to better tackle games so I can actually enjoy them long-term and it's been incredible.

If you are ever in charge of a kid it is IMPERATIVE that you sometimes let them get away with stuff, because you will never see a grin like the grin of a kid who is Getting Away With Something. You gotta be a coconspirator and help them steal extra slices of capsicum that were supposed to go in the frying pan for dinner. You gotta pretend you don't know exactly what they're doing when they try to buy themselves another ten minutes before bed. I absolutely promise that the benefit of enforcing a non-essential rule 100% of the time is nothing compared to watching their delight over successfully breaking it.

i think peter parker had been trying and failing to breakdance long before the spider-bite, and is just happy to discover he finally has the upper body strength to actually pull it off now

Lmao okay so Cassandra and Daniela were the loudest advocates for having pets in the castle but Alcina always said no because it’s plenty of work for everyone to look after the three daughters and no one has the energy to do the same for pets (because tbh the daughters can’t do much on their own they have maids that literally do everything for them like they barely even dress themselves there is always someone helping them and this is just ONE example)

Anyway, years and years later, life made a full circle and one Cassandra Dimitrescu was asked by her very own daughters if they can have a pet. Cassandra took a moment to realize that if it’s not for her wife, this family would be in shambles because Cass can barely keep herself alive let alone her children. And then she realized that her mother was right. It is a lot of work already and having pets is not going to work.

Cass would rather die than admit her mother is right but she fully gets it now

Wendy's next, accompanied by Eleanor Truffles, her self-proclaimed assistant for the day! Seems a lot of Wendy's latest brews require ice flowers, so the two little ladies went off to find some!

Good thinking on Wendy's part, as with someone as eagle-eyed as Ellie on her side, gathering ingredients is a breeze!

Ellie's idea of an adventure with one of the ultra-famous Koopalings wasn't anything like this... but it's still fun! ^w^
