While I think Lucas will be gutted over Dillon because so much of Lucas is wrapped up in Dillon.

I think it's gonna hit him harder about Leah.

Because Leah has been Lucas's one constant in his whole life.

His big sister when Lucas and Leah were bouncing between their parents and all the many men in both their parents' romantic lives.

The loss of Amy at a young age and all the complications of it being Ryan and the drama that happened before and after they found out Ryan was responsible for Amy's death.

Not to mention all the other crap that Ste has pulled and mucked up over the years.

However, Leah was the one constant with Lucas the entire time through all of that. To find out that his sister did the ultimate betrayal it is going to destroy him.

Sometimes I like to check in on Ste and John Paul and I see kid characters like Tom, who now has a wife, and Leah now’s got boobs and storylines independent of her dad.

… and then I also remember that I watched Hollyoaks regularly 12 years ago and I ugly cry

i do kind of appreciate that this is all rather silly lol. like they’ve done earnest and dramatic first times before, and now they have lucas neurotically repeating how they���re going to have sex and instead of running a mile dillon is like hell yeah we are and it’s all just like funny LOL

Leah being exactly like Amy used to be and Lucas being exactly like Ste used to be is my roman empire. They are just young versions of their parents 😭

Ok, I'm not super mad at Dillon being the dad of Leah's baby. Maybe just a little mad.

It's Hollyoaks, the same soap that had John Paul have an affair with Ste's dad, and then marry Ste down the line. As well as John Paul was once engaged to Ste's husband James. It's a village and a soap, these things happen.

Also it makes sense that they got caught up in a vulnerable and low moment and one thing led to another considering the year they had.

If they are going to make Dillon and Lucas as epic as I think they are, they will attack them with as many cannonballs of drama and angst as possible. So they can break them up and put them back together more often than a light switch.

Honestly, I'm more mad that they are shipping Leah off. Hopefully, she will come back when Lucas finally finds out. It is shitty to destroy such an important sibling as Leah and Lucas. But they better not launch a bomb and then not have Leah there to have it out with Lucas and rebuild.

I do wonder how long they plan to keep it a secret? Six months? Nine months? A year?

it’s the fact that Lucas has got back from blackpool but looks like he has got a bit of a tan because i’m sure it’s around the time that Oscar had gone abroad

also Ste saying to Lucas you haven’t got that glow from blackpool clearly indicating ya know 😏 and Lucas not denying it whilst Leah says eww gross was everything
