Description

Le Sueur was the pupil of Vouet. This painting and its companion piece depicting Clio, Euterpe and Thalia were used to decorate the Cabinet of the Muses of the Hôtel Lambert in Paris. These charming, delicately painted pictures foreshadow the coming of Poussin.

ya pas de honte à pas savoir ces trucs là, vraiment cette semaine j'ai discuté avec des full adultes qui savaient vraiment pas du tout comment fonctionnait le système, des gens de 30-35 ans qui avaient jamais voté, et ici je pense qu'il y a plein de gens beaucoup plus jeunes que ça qui me suivent, c'est pas grave de pas encore bien comprendre, c'est des concepts pas hyper sexy, qui nous sont pas bien expliqués et tout, et c'est vrai que les gens qui savent ont tendance à faire un peu comme si tout était évident donc c'est chiant/intimidant, c'est vrai

mais si ya un moment pour se rendre compte que c'est important et que c'est pas non plus siiiii ultra compliqué que ça, c'est bien maintenant !! force à toustes

Description

In Greek mythology, Clio, Euterpe, and Thalia are three of the nine muses, who are characters that inspire the arts and sciences: Clio The muse of history and creativity. She is often depicted holding a scroll or book and crowned with laurels. Euterpe The muse of music and lyric poetry. She is often depicted playing the flute. Thalia The muse of comedy and pastoral poetry. She is often depicted wearing a mocking expression and carrying a theatrical mask of comedy.
