Celebrating the FSA anniversary by drawing 4 different Fours from different Links Meet AUs. I’m a day late because I didn’t know that March 18 was the anniversary. I was planning on drawing these guys for a while, several months ago, I just forgot to. Fun fact, the day before the 18th, quite literally the day before, the 17th, I thought, “I should finally draw these guys the day before the FSA anniversary so I can post them on time.” Like. Wtf. So I’ll be making a calendar eventually so I know when all the anniversaries are.

Anyways, some thoughts on the guys:

Four from @linked-maze - His hair is so scruffy, I love it. He’s so optimistic and happy.

Four from @heroesspirit - I didn’t color it in here, but I love his ombré hair, the orange fading into a yellow looks so pretty.

Four from @linkbetweenlinksau This is just devolving into me gushing over the hair. Anyways I love the hair and the little hair tie thingy is SO good. Also love the eyes.

Forge from @echoes-of-courage - I didn’t have to space to draw the multicolored sash :( One of my favorite aspects of his design honestly. I’m glad I was able to draw the ponytail, I love ponytails.

I wanted Minish to be the shortest on the team to show that the Minish magic really affected him physically but I realize that he’s… not that short compared to the others 💀💀 so yay for him?

OOOH ok so Four… I have so many thoughts on four

So when Four used the four sword he really couldn’t mentally merge again. There are side effects to magic if you are not built to wield it, which you’ll see with a lot of my links who were touched by magic! It took a bit for him to realize that he was no longer Link, but he was now green, blue, vio, and red in one body. Bascially they’re all vibing in the brain seeing things the person “controlling” Link sees, however they can’t just let someone control. Idk how they switch but they don’t know how either lol. I do want to be clear tho that this is NOT DID. I am not skilled or educated enough to write DID correctly and Four is simply too young to even have fleshed out alters. But yeah that’s his whole thing involving the split. It’s heavily inspired after the manga so the personalities are all the same! I’ve been projecting HEAVILY on Blue, he’s very angry but he’s actually super lonely but he prefers to keep to himself so he blames himself whenever he feels lonely. He’s just like me fr.

I cant say what happened directly after the events of MM but I will say that Termina was not a different kingdom, but it was a parallel universe not touched by Hylia (which is why it’s called Termina and not Hyrule). Idk how he got there but he does weird funky timeline shenanigans while trying to find Navi. It’s why everything is the same as Hyrule but also very different. It’s also why the world was going to completely end because there was no goddess there to stop it. Very weird freaky stuff going on. I have more thoughts on Termina and the happy mask salesman but I don’t want to spoil anything lol. And y’all already know this but when Time was able to return to Hyrule, he figured that since everything is much different and so much time has passed, that he shouldn’t even bother to rekindle the old friendships he had from oot. So he just kinda travelled on his own, but he got terribly sick and Talon found him suffering on the side of the road. He also recognized Epona so he brought them both home so Time could get better. And that’s why Time is at lon lon and why he fell in love with Malon.

Linktober masterpost

Well. That was a wild ride. Fun fact- I never planned on doing Linktober this year! Because I am not the best with 2d art, I just kind of assumed I couldn't. But on the literal first. Day. Of October, my adhd brain realised that I could do an October challenge in another medium- mainly eggs. I've been doing egg carvings for years, so I figured I could just. Carve eggs.... for Linktober... and then I did it??

From there it quickly evolved into a random personal challenge to see how many different art mediums I could stuff into these prompts. I carved rocks, glass, bottles, etc... about halfway through the month I ran out of eggs and had to wait for my chickens to lay more. And then on a random whim I actually finished all thirty one days, falling behind twice. Go figure.

Researchers are raising the alarm after discovering that Covid mRNA “vaccines” trigger a deadly blood-based cancer in healthy, young, athletic women.

A chilling case study documents a young woman who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Where do you draw upon inspiration for your more passionate fics?

Hey Nonny!

Ooooh this is an interesting one to break down. Ok so, for all the fics in the series Lord Bridgerton's List which was written for Kinktober, I cherry-picked from about four or five Kinktober-specific prompt lists. This also applies to the first batch of The Queen and the General, because those first five fics derived from LBL.

For most my other fics, I don't generally go in with anything in mind, I just see what spicy scenes come up as I write or make some general notes in my outlines beforehand if an idea pops up.

The exception to that is Chicken Soup and Oral Sex: Lord Bridgerton's Surefire Sickness Cure, which is VERY MUCH a tribute to Anthony Bridgerton's canon excellent oral skills. And also that I had a cold at the time I wrote it and that is a cure I would have VERY MUCH enjoyed!

Ok well. An anon a looong time ago asked how the lbl boys handled being sick so here’s the answer. Take 2 cuz tumblr friggin ate the other one and now it’s transported to the fourth dimension never to be seen again.

Sky: he’s ok, usually he sleeps it off and it’s kinda nice having an excuse to sleep all day. But when there’s something important going on like saving Zelda from evil he completely ignores self care and pushes through.

Minish: if it’s a fever or something that weakens him in any way he usually takes care of himself, cuz he has to lift heavy metal all day and he needs his strength. Now if it’s a cold he’ll work through it, and he’s actually really good at hiding being sick so sometimes grandpa smith doesn’t know.

Time: he’s gotten much better. Malon and Talon makes sure that if he has any sign of an illness that he gets medicine asap. A simple cold he works through, but anything else? Nope, he needs to rest.

Legend: he’s actually really good at taking care of himself. He listens to his body, sleeps, eats, takes medicine, and he’s usually able to toughen through it

Hyrule: absolutely awful he is in so much pain and agony but REFUSES to rest and pretends that everything is fine and dandy. He’s very stubborn and frustrating to deal with when he’s sick.

Twi: also pretty bad. He usually toughens through it but sometimes he overdoes it and passes out, which isn’t good. Unfortunately for him, Uli and Rusl won’t let him hurt himself that way, and he’s terrible at hiding it.

Four: uh, idk, it depends. Sometimes he lets himself rest and sometimes he doesn’t. It just depends on the circumstances.

Windy: he’s pretty bad, he always tries to push himself to exhaustion whenever he needs to do something, but luckily grandma’s soup helps him feel better and forced himself to rest.

Spirit: if Phantom ever catches him sick and not resting he’d get an earful from her lol. Alfonzo and Nikko never let him do anything if he was sick.

Age: bro is great at hiding it and great at toughening through it. If anyone catches him being vulnerable he’ll keel over and die.

Wild: he’d usually rest until he feels better and then continue on with his life. If he’s lucky he’ll be by a horse stable or something of the sort.

Warriors: he takes illnesses very seriously, so what does he do? Avoid everyone so they don’t get sick, and then does an awful job at taking care of himself. It’s better he dies than someone else

US State Department approves Patriot missile sale to the Netherlands

The US State Department has supported a possible unfamiliar military deal (FMS) of Patriot rocket framework to Nato part the Netherlands.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency has informed the US Congress of this expected deal.

The Netherlands had mentioned 34 Patriot Advanced Capability 3 (PAC-3) Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) rockets.

Also, the potential FMS incorporates eight kitted two-pack PAC-3 MSE Missile Round Trainers (MRT), six kitted two-pack PAC-3 MSE Empty Round Trainers (ERT), four PAC-3 MSE Skid Kits, one Lot of Classified PAC-3 MSE Concurrent Spare Parts (CSPs) and one Lot of Unclassified PAC-3 MSE CSPs.

The program will likewise incorporate PAC-3 MSE fix and return handling support administrations and other subordinate help.

Lockheed Martin will be the excellent project worker for this deal, which is assessed to be esteemed at around $241m.

The proposed deal is supposed to improve the Netherlands' rocket defense market ability, and prevent current and future foe dangers. The Nato part is supposed not to confront any trouble in accepting the weapons into its military.

Guide to Visual Basic 6

Introduction:

What are you going to learn out of this guide?

You are going to learn how to code correctly in Visual Basic. And maybe pickup a thing or two you did not know before. I am assuming that you are able to pick a control from the toolbox and placing it on the form and setting its properties. I broke up the guide into four parts.

Part1 - The Basics involving writing good code and formats.

Part 1A: The Basics

An important of being a good Visual Basic programmer is using good names for your files and your controls. It may  seem like  TCBasic extra work but in the long run, it will enable you to code faster and allow yourself and others to understand your own code better.

A rule I use for prefixes is to keep the prefix in lowercase then uppercase the first letter of the name of the control or file.

Prefixes for files:

prj = Project

frm = Form

mod = Module

cls = class

usr = user control

Prefixes to Common Controls

cmd = Command button

img = Image control

pic = Picture box

tmr = Timer

shp = Shape

chk = Checkbox

lst = Listbox

You have already learned how prefixes can help making coding faster and easier. Now lets move on to comments and indenting!

One of the worst things around is finding code that is not indented and or no white space.

When do you indent?

You also tab once when you begin to code in an event or subroutine. Then for each if statement, loop, you also indent.

Comments:

Visual Basic comments begin with ' and can go anywhere that you want They are useful in explaining your code to yourself and others. I really wish VB had multi line comments like in C++ but it is not too bad.

White Space:

Leaving white space makes your code easier to read and makes it look cleaner

The very first line in all your forms and modules should be Option Explicit

What does Option Explicit do? Well it forces you to declare all your variables with otherwise would make them all the variant type.

Example so you can not do:

for i=0 to 100 next i

You have to first have i declared Dim i as byte for i=0 to 100 next i

Variables

What are Variables? They hold data that may change when you run your program

Byte = holds numbers from 0 to 255 String = holds characters or letters such as "Hello World! and numbers too 123456789" Integer= numbers no decimals from -32,768 to 32,767 Long = numbers no decimals from -2,147,483,647 to 2,147,483,647 Single = Can hold decimal numbers 32bit Boolean = holds either True or False

Constants

What are constants? They hold data that does not change. An example of a constant would be private const Pi = 3.14

Private/Public/Global

What does Private mean?

Private means it can only be accessed in the current form, module, or class.

What does Public and Global mean?

Public means it can be accessed from any form, module, or class

Static

If you make a variable static it will save its value the next time the sub is run.

Like the switch statement in c++ What is it good for? It is good for instances when you have one variable and do not want to have a million if then statements.
