My birthday is today (hooray for 33!) but due to schedules and being busy preparing for the upcoming trip to the USA, my birthday dinner was moved up a week. As I am a TOTAL fiend for sushi, we went to Yo Sushi! and had delicious, delicious noms.

Lately, I’ve been so lazy when it comes to outfits. My Punk Rave, Dark In Love, and Devil Fashion trousers and leggings with tees and tunics have been my best friends. I think it might be due to the fact that I am so run down that my energy is very low. In this selfie, I am wearing my favourite Aesthetic Perfection tee that I picked up at the show in April with brocade trousers from Punk Rave. Since the weather has FINALLY gotten to the point of needing an actual coat, my favourite brocade Pirate Princess (as seen in posts from last year...has it REALLY been a year?) has been brought out and everything was topped off with this. Throw on a dark unicorn cameo and some basic makeup and I’m set.

I’m starting a new venture in the new year that is a bit hush-hush at the moment, but there will be details surfacing soon!

overcome with the urge to seek out and purchase goth/darkwave/industrial compilation CDs from the early/mid 2000s.

apparently, i already want to relive my embarrassing teen mallgoth years.

but also it’s fun to listen to compilation CDs and think about all the kids who first heard of big names in goth/darkwave/industrial music from those compilations, you know?

(also, when i say “embarrassing,” i mean it in a fond kind of way. i was melodramatic and RANDOMXD and really bad at applying makeup--and i was also kind of fearless? not literally, since i was wracked by anxiety and depression, but like i wasn’t afraid to do weird shit, you know? it’s a time i don’t want to go back to, really, but i do give myself credit for, like, being comfortable enough with my own weirdness that i could carry dolls to class with me and wear cut-up tights under my shirts and put snarky pins on my purse and just....throw whatever i could think of at the wall to see what stuck. it was admirable, if not always a great idea.)

so today im hanging out with my roommate near the campus green in my college as college kids often do, and this guy says i have nice hair. i do have super nice hair so this wasnt a shock and so i went like "thanks dude" and kept this shit rolling. after he walked away i got a good look at him

taller than me, long greasy badly dyed black hair, some metal band tshirt, trap pants and a wallet chain. i was in all black too so maybe he thought we were one in the same. he thought wrong

so im talking to my roommate more and hes standing a ways away from me and kylo ren over there is scribbling shit in a journal. i dont really care bc i stay in my lane and so a few minutes later me and my roommate go our seperate ways to classes.

about 30 feet out, severus snape dude comes sprinting after me and i just fucking accept death im not even kidding. im like "oh great fuckin kylo is pissed about something and now hes gonna strangle me with his wallet chain or some shit" like i dont even try to run or hide or anything. like idk about yall but when a weird dude starts sprinting after me i just accept the fact that hes probably gonna kill me. dude shoves a piece of folded up paper in my hands and says "call me"

idk if this dude knows that heterosexuality is not a trait of mine but okay okay lets keep it going

he walks away all giddy and i take a look at the note he gave me

the front says something like "fancy running into you here" so we're already off to a bad start. like seriously dude

1.) i have never met this guy before. i dont know him. my friends dont know him. this is no place we would be in it at the same time. our forst interaction was a few minutes ago
