i don’t think I’ve mentioned it on here but I’m a big nirvana and alice in chains fan and i’m listening to music rn and wish you were here by pink floyd is on 🥲 it’s officially 30 years since kurt cobain passed and 22 years since layne staley passed (he died a month before i was born)

So, forever ago (last October) I made a post about what type of cats the guys would be. I was going to make a big elaborate post showing a picture and cat traits, etc. But stuff happened and then I just didn't have the energy or will to do that.

BUT I still have all the info I found, so I will still post a version of it. All the pictures I just found on the internet somewhere. And I've linked the main website I used when looking for info if anyone wanted to amuse themselves with cat facts.

Geoff is a Maine Coon

He was the easiest to decide on. The Maine Coon was chosen for both looks and personality type of the cat. Maine Coon temperament I also thought fit rather well: Gregarious, kind, intelligent, family oriented -When you meet a Maine Coon cat, you'll understand why they are called the gentle giants of the cat world.

Cesar de la Rosa is a Tortoiseshell Ragdoll

I decided on the Tortie Ragdoll for multiple reasons. The temperament of the Ragdoll was a big plus (Sweet, easygoing, gentle, relaxed). And some of the Tortoiseshell facts that I found made me say, Perfect. The facts I liked: -They are thought to be a sign of good luck/ fortune -They are super energetic felines -Meet the tortie Ragdoll, a feline masterpiece where sass meets sweetness, and fiery fur swirls around mesmerizing blue eyes. These calico cuties aren’t just beautiful—they’re a genetic anomaly wrapped in a purring cuddle bug.

Eli is a Siamese

I chose the Siamese mostly for looks (and suggestion). Otherwise there was another cat option that I would have chosen for personality instead of looks. (Siberian but more specifically the Neva Masquerade)

Layne is an orange-colored Devon Rex

There really wasn't another choice once I looked into the Devon Rex's personality type, especially when you add in the orange cat traits. -Temperament: Doglike, energetic, people-oriented, mischievous -The Devon Rex is a curious, mischievous, active and playful cat with a love of heights, earning itself the nickname ‘monkey in cat’s clothing‘. -Devon rexes are an extremely people-oriented breed that loves to be close to their human family at all times. -Orange cats are often referred to as the “clowns” of the feline world due to their playful and mischievous nature. And also, its fur is short and curly (like Layne's when he doesn't style it).

And there we go. Now I can finally say I've done it. Hopefully this randomness gives some amusement.
