What is one of your favorite mythological stories from any culture?

Honestly the story on Thrymr and how he stole Mjolnir 😂 just the thought of Loki working together with Thor to retrieve Thor’s hammer is funny because Loki was a whole ass menace to the Aesir but said “you know what I can help out this one time” and actually helped is funny to me lol.

Oof let me tell you about the Dreamer Trilogy buckle up. Not gonna lie, the first book was actually pretty good! We always knew that Ronan was the author's favorite and it was nice to expand on his life after TRC and his relationship with Ronan, but that's about all it has going for it because the plot is just a mess if you can even call it a plot. Major "twists" are just repeated beats from TRC (literally the big bad is just the 2.0 version of a previous one with the exact. Same. Backstory.), so much stuff is retconned for the sake of moving the plot forward and just because the author decided to change them for convenience, and the reveals that are supposed to be shocking just feel really cheap. And if only readers wanna go in for Pynch then they're gonna be majorly disappointed. Because he and Ronan only interact once in the first book, NEVER in the second book, and at the very end chapters of the final book. Don't get me wrong. I really wanted to love the Dreamer Trilogy as much as I loved TRC but it wasn't very good. The only saving grace was the new character Jordan Hennessy (both of them) because her character arc is actually sick as heck and she could have held the whole trio loft down by herself like the author originally planned to do before making it a Ronan series, but other than that the rest of it just fell horribly flat. I know I'm in the minority here but after two years of the book being published I was finally able to figure out why I just didn't vibe with it.

🧶 - Do they do any arts, crafts, or creative hobbies?

In the aftermath of the war between the Queenguards and their allies and The Titanic Ten, the resurrected legendary warriors, and rebel monsters whose side with them, and the arrival of the continent, Sweetopia, where The Candyfolk Kingdom reside (created by @cooltmoney95) coming to help aid everyone in the rebuilding of Mewni, she take up baking to help provide food aids for the people of baking. Vincenza is fast enough magically to delivery messages (if her crow, Salem is needed by the Second Division) to Captain Fum and food aids. Even considering helping Spikeballs (Her knight, Vega’s dad) out in construction work in repairing villages. But baking is what she got into the most in the rebuilding phrase of Mewni. The scent of breads rising up in the oven, freshly baked are so wonderful. This is all thanks to Vincenza spending her time with Gino Churro.

💙 - Describe their bedroom! Is it personalized, unchanged? Messy, neat?

Vincenza tried to make her room neat and tidy to be presentable of her royal status. Her clothes are kept in her dress cabinet (it is where she stash board games and a box of her maps). She make sure to dusts it before the maids do. However, the room will occasionally have eagle feathers and outdated maps of Mewni, that she drew, scattered on the floor. Vincenza make sure to pick up the outdated maps and put them in a box for safekeeping. Otherwise the maids will throw them away by going into the trash, or worst, her mother see them.

Vincenza personalized her room to be a mix of Bloomcore and in-between Gothpunk and Whimsigothcore.

A unicorn, due to how rare I am in writing stories about her that I promise to, and her being one of the first Pixie Hybrids in existence in Tales of Mewni. Vincenza only appear in @kururu418’s Tales of Mewni (main storyline), the stories I typed using prompts, and the story of her and @laylaylamode’s Jia exploring Noceto Forest. I really need to finish the sequel. 😥

🌊 - Does this oc have a secret or repressed desire?

Her secret desire is to marry Fum (this character is The Captain of the Fifth Division and he belongs to @kururu418), but everyone in the Queensguard know. Her colleague, Robin Skylight (@cooltmoney95’s ToM SVTFOE next gen character) calls her Simp. 😂. That is why she is honing her size manipulation, in order to becomes bigger. By bigger, I means giant-sized, so she can challenge Fum to a duel of love. However, Lilli (ToM Brownie OC of @doomface) seem to beats her to it 😂.

People to play with in Dungeons and Dragons. (Although, I don’t know how to write a story of people playing that game. 😔)

💝 - How much effort do they put into appearances? Do they have a favorite article of clothing?

Vincenza doesn’t put much in though. Usually always wear her double dutch braids in her duty as a knight.

When it come to social events and representing the pixies in Pixtopia, Vincenza put a lot of effort in her appearances when it come to social events. She wears a Dutch Braided Bun when attending meetings with the heirs of Mewni Kingdoms and Monster Tribes on Cordelia’s behalf.

In her time on Earth, Vincenza is low-key into gothic fashion (Originally Pastel Goth. Vincenza is trying out a combination of Romantic Gothic Fashion and Faerie Gothic Fashion). Her theme of fashion is a cherry blossom theme.

What is one of your favorite mythological stories from any culture?

Lmao I finally have the time to go through my asks.

Tbh I had to brush up on my knowledge of different myths since it's been a minute since I've actually sat down and read any. But my favorite has to be the origins of Hermes and (from the versions I recount reading) he was a mischievous kid who stole cattle from Apollo. He was also super smart for his young age and essentially trolling many gods.

I'll name another one (since I took so long answering this ask) but I also enjoyed the myth of how Thor dressed up in a wedding dress to trick a giant into thinking he was Freyja.

🍣 What helps you focus or get in the mood to write?

It depends, but usually either music or old YouTube videos/movies/TV series I've already seen before! Just having something on in the background for some nice background music helps whenever I'm working on something, but bonus points for something that has a similar vibe or mood to whatever it is I'm working on!

🍲 When did you start writing and why?

I first started writing fiction/short stories starting in 5th and 6th grade for class assignments, but in terms of starting writing because I genuinely wanted to? Probably when I was around 14-16? My first fan-fic posted to DA was a contest entry, but I think I started writing simply because I wanted to explore my OCs more in writing, since I was primarily an artist at the time. Eventually in my later teen years I got more serious into the concept of story-telling and exploring my original characters and universes through writing, and it has been my dream goal for the longest time to become a published author someday.

🥘 What category do most of your fics fall under?

That's a bit of a hard one, because I feel like I write a variety of stuff? Probably mostly relationship-focused stuff(whether family, couples, or friends) since establishing different and good bonds between my characters is a top priority for me, both fluff and angst, modern/contemporary fantasy, regular fantasy, supernatural/paranormal, coming of age, AUs, and I've also dabbled into a little bit of horror and smut/erotica, but nearly as much as the other genres.

Pick two of your characters. If they were in Avatar, what kind of bender would they be and what fighting style would they have?

For Sophia, I can picture her being a fire bender and using her skills to intimidate people. (Basically Azula) I can see her using the fighting style that fire bending designed after and taekwondo techniques.

Now Lucille can be a pretty decent water bender and I can see her using blood bending to her advantage. The fighting style for blood bending is called Chin Na which is a form of Chinese martial arts, so I can see Lucille doing that with a mix of Capoeira.

Pick two of your characters. If they were in Avatar, what kind of bender would they be and what fighting style would they have?

I can see Janaya more of in-between a fire bender and a water bender. His father’s spell, the Kill Ball and I saw some SVTFOE Next Gen Content Creators whose give Janna the ability to use magic, have her use a fire magic attribute. So I am going with him being a fire bender. His fightning style would be a mixture of Tai Chi, Eschrima/Kali, and Northern Shaolin. The Tai Chi aspect on firebending is inspired by Zuko using Tai Chi in his fightning style when bending fire, when he joins Aang, Katara, Toph, Sokka, Appa, and Momo.

Fengge would be a wind bender and his fightning style would be Baguazhang. Since he was bless with wind manipulation by Ring Ring, it make sense for him to be a wind bender.

“Gabe!” Beatrice cae rushing into Gabe, wrapping an arm around him as she hugged him tightly. Every girl in the hall glared at the sight as she looked up at him brightly. “I totally missed you yesterday! It’s too bad you couldn’t catch our game. We totally wiped the floor with those guys from Uppertone. My sets were way too on point.” 

Gabe hummed, and then offered a smile before reaching up and patting her on the head. “Sorry I couldn’t be there in person, but I did see the stream. You and the rest of the team did great,” he complimented. 

Beatrice blushed and smiled gleefully as he patted her head, then shot a smug smirk to the rest of the girls in the hall. “You can gawk all you want, you losers, but at the end of the day he’s mine…” She was the only one outside of Mala who could even get clingy with him like this. The others were nothing but dumb fangirls.

Beatrice grit her teeth angrily as she looked across the cafeteria at that stupid redhead. She couldn’t believe she had the nerve to act so casual with her Gabe. And he actually smiled back at her for some reason. Did he just pity her? She didn’t blame him. She looked like a total loser. But still, she should have known her place and stayed away from him. “That uppity commoner…” 

Mala slurped up the rest of her noodles before following her friend's gaze. “Oh, you're looking at that Edith girl again? Yeah, I’m kinda glad that he made a friend on his own… mama says she thinks she might be more than that though, whatever that means,” she said, shrugging her shoulders. 

Beatrice nearly crushed the soda bottle in her hand. “Humph! As if Gabe would ever entertain the thought of courting someone like that! He could do a hundred times better than her!” she said, sticking her nose up in the air. 

“You mean like you?” Fala deadpanned as she shot her trash into the trashcan nearby. 

“Exactly!” Beatrice said, not at all catching the sarcasm. The only one fit for the likes of Gabe was her! Anyone with eyes could see it!

“Isn’t that the loser who’s been stalking Mala…?” Beatrice asked, eyes narrowed as she watched the senior make his way across the gym. Mala either hadn’t noticed or hadn’t cared about how pushy he was being, but Beatrice sure as hell did. She might have been an annoying little loudmouth, but she was her annoying little loudmouth. 

Serj clicked his tongue as he leaned against the wall beside the bleachers, his arms crossed. “I believe so, yeah…” he said. “Already got a new target in your crosshairs?” 

“Oh please, I have people for that… like you, get him off the team,” she said simply. 

Serj raised an eyebrow. “Beatrice, I just joined. I need some time before I can make a move like that.” Safely anyway. “Just muddy his reputation like you usually do and-” 

Beatrice stepped up on the bleacher until she was high enough to reach him, and then grabbed onto his collar before flashing him a chilling smile. “Serj, you know me… do I respond rationally when I don’t get what I want?” she asked. 

Serj stared at her, and then sighed. “I’ll see what I can do.” 

“That’s my little worker bee…” 

Fala

Edtih grunted as the girl not so gently bumped into her, shooting her a smug smirk as she did. “Oops,” she said, shrugging her shoulders. “Didn’t see you there.” 

The redhead grit her teeth, already working on a spell to frizzle her hair the moment she turned around. But suddenly another figure came by, bod checking the girl and slamming her into the locker. The girl groaned, and then turned with a glare towards the figure who had crashed into her. But she stopped and went wide eyed, looking up at Fala loomed over her. 

“Oops…” Fala said, narrowing her eyes. “Didn’t see you down there…” The girl shrunk before her, and then slowly turned and began walking away, rubbing her now sore shoulder. Fala grunted and continued walking, making her way past Edith. 

Edith looked towards her, and then crossed her arms. “Thanks…” 

“I didn’t do it for you,” Fala clarified. “I hate that petty shit.”

All of these dumb girls tripping over themselves for Gabe when he wasn’t even interested in them. It pissed her off. They needed to either take their shot and get rejected or drop it… not that she was one to talk.

“Wow, you really wrote this?” Gabe asked, looking impressed. He held the lyrics to the latest song Fala wrote, and needless to say he was amazed by it. 

Fala nodded as she sat beside him on the roof. “Yeah. I was gonna see if Laika wanted to sing it,” she said, leaning on her palm. “Course if you wanted to give it a shot, then I wouldn’t be opposed to that either.” She had actually written it with him in mind, but she knew how he was about singing in front of other people. 

Gabe scratched his cheek. “Heh, maybe some other time in private. But… this song also definitely should be performed in front of an audience, and I’m sure I’d just freeze up on the stage,” he said.

She smirked. “Figured.” 

“You should think about singing it yourself too. Your voice sounds almost as good as my mother’s. If you joined the talent show then-” 

Fala reached up and put a hand over his face, surprising him. “Alright, this is the part where you start hyping me up, and I’m totally over it. So just pretend I'm thankful and cut the speech, yeah?” she asked. Gabe blinked, and then just chuckled. Fala smirked, a faint blush on her cheeks. He was such an idiot…

“Moms been nagging at me about my hair again,” Fala said, looking annoyed. She was always going on about how she didn’t grow it out. She had such beautiful hair, and it was such a waste apparently. Aside from shorter hair making it easier to play volleyball, she just didn't like taking care of it. 

Laika hummed. “Well, she’s not wrong,” he said. “And I heard a certain someone might have a thing for girls with long hair.” 

“I will knock you the fuck out…” 

“Alright, alright,” he said, waving a hand. He knew how touchy a subject that was for her. “In all seriousness though, you should think about heading right home after practice. It’s getting a little crazy out here lately, and you don’t have a Miraculous…” 

Fala raised an eyebrow, and then huffed. “You know I don’t need one…” 

Laika suddenly felt a chill up his spine, and for a moment he spotted what looked like flowing hair passing by him. He shivered. “Right… Tiene Sa…” He had wrote that off as bullshit once, and he was wise enough not to do it again. “That’s not gonna be a problem for Edith, is it?” 

Fala narrowed her eyes. “Not unless she’s fucking with Gabe, no…” 

Serj

Serj slammed the ball through the hoop, hanging off of the rim for a moment before dropping down. He cracked his neck before turning over towards Dylan. “Say, you don’t think dunking too much in the next game would come off as flashy, do you? I mean, it’s obvious we’re going to win, but I don’t want to rub it in,” he said. 

Dylan rolled his eyes. “I feel like if you have to ask that then you already know the answer. By the way, there are four other people on the team, so maybe you won’t have to worry about dunking so much if you pass the ball more,” he said. 

Serj laughed. “Oh, my bad. You’re totally right,” he said, reaching out and patting him on the shoulder. “Should be a little more considerate to my teammates. I mean, you guys play just as hard as Gabe and I do after all. You’re all really reliable back up.” 

Dylan narrowed his eyes. “Back up?! This mother…!”

“So, make any interesting connections at school?” Stacie T asked, rolling the pasta around her fork as she looked towards her son. 

Serj hummed. “Well, there was one interesting guy I thought I could use as muscle, but he’s been stalking around Mala so Beatrice wants his head,” he said, knowing he could already count that option out. 

Stacie T frowned. “God, Dorian is still letting that little brat run rough shot over everyone. I swear to god you better keep your relationship with that girl business only. If you ever try to bring her home I’ll change the locks on the front door,” she promised. 

He waved a hand. “Oh c’mon mom. Me and Beatrice? She’s obsessed with Gabe… although…” That was obviously going to be a dead end with that Edith girl around, and the look on his mother’s face almost made the idea worth entertaining.   

“You wipe that smirk off of your face…” Stacie said, narrowing her eyes. If there was one thing he had gotten from his father it was the knack for knowing just how to get on her last nerves.

Gabe wiped his face off with his towel before looking over towards Serj, who was chatting with Mala. He frowned, waiting until Mala ran off to join her friends before approaching him. “What were you and Mala talking about?” he asked. 

Serj turned towards him with a smirk. “I was giving her some advice on some jumping drills. Not that she needs them. She seems to have springs for feet. It’s hardly a wonder why they call her the Monstar,” he said. 

Gabe narrowed his eyes. “Don’t try to manipulate my sister…” he warned, fists clenching tightly. 

Serj hummed. “Please. Mala isn’t someone who can be manipulated. She’s too… chaotic? Unpredictable? Whatever it is she has I’m not nearly skilled enough to deal with. She’s on a whole different playing field than you are,” he said, making his way off. “Oh, and good luck with your next little outing, Mr. Noir…” 

Gabe narrowed his eyes after him. He really couldn't get a beat on that guy. He wasn’t bad. He just felt so… uneasy around him.
