Hi! I'm a new fan of your Winx work and I think it's awesome! If it's not too much trouble could I get more info on Vale? He's got such a cool design and powers and he's sooo pretty! I just want to give him and his siblings a big hug.
Aww thank you! I’m glad you like my work! :D Ooh, been awhile since I did anything with Vale but I’ll do my best ^^
Tumblr media
Vale would have a secret passion for the violin, being one of the few instruments he was allowed to practice on when given free time from his studies and training.
If there’s one thing that can make Vale automatically softened, it’s birds. Specifically, small bird varieties like doves and parakeets as he likes to let them climb on his finger and pet their lil feathers.
If Vale had a favorite food, it would be Pie. He naturally wouldn’t really be allowed to eat that kind of stuff back at home, but if he ever gained some more freedom he’d be glad to taste up all the pie flavors he could find.
When he was younger, he used to like getting his hair braided by his mother (and vice-versa) whenever he was allowed to spend more time with her. This continues to this day whenever Vale has a break to spend time with her... which is where they’d go on to talk about their day and what they’re feeling.
He has a penchant for collecting shiny, metallic trinkets he’d randomly find on his missions. Mostly stuff like old watches, mirror compacts, keys, etc.

WINX AU SCREAMING (Part VIII)
Let’s continue with our Starter Villains After The Trix ™, Darkar and Valtor, plus some more! Also some details of how S2 and S3 would work on the AU.
Darkar, or better put, the Shadow Phoenix, is an ancient being rumored to come from the Great Dragon’s shadow. It’s considered an elemental, a bird made of black, cursed fire that wants to obtain as many Dragonscales and Dragonsouls as it can, as well to access the sealed Font of Magic, Realix. (Dragonscales are magical gems that hold some form of elemental magic or a power amplifier, Dragonsouls are the replacement for the Dragon’s Flame and are extra fonts of magic that are usually bonded to an ancient object or to a bloodline), and that was sealed in the deepest parts of the Under Ruins, a castle-like location in the Downland of Solenei, below Magix. Its current incarnation, Darkar, is the result of known Paladin and Grand Fairy of Shining Fire Esperanze Dia accidentally freeing the Phoenix out of its prison and becoming its host, his mind being killed in the process. He frees the Trix from their stay at Lightrock as he can sense some lingering traces from when they “stole” Bloom’s dragonsoul to become his servants, and the Trix agree out of fear of their lives.
However, the Paladin Order, concerned about Esperanze’s dissapearance, sends Luxiem Avalon (a high-ranking Paladin, with the title of Fairy of Light) to investigate as his last mission, as he’s already been teaching at Alfea for two years. Darkar caughts him, however, and keeps him prisoner as he can see him being useful. He grants life to one of the gargoyles in the Ruins and turns him into a perfect copy of Avalon, that he sends as a mole to learn about the outside world, and seek potential candidates to act as Keys. He needs someone with a Dragonsoul inside to kickstart the ritual to access Realix, as well as the four Codex pieces guarded in different parts of Magix.
This is where Bloom comes in. Much like in the show, Darkar would use the fake Avalon to isolate and control Bloom, and get her in his side. Dark Bloom (”Coal Bloom”, as Darkar calls her) would act more like an uncontrollable, perpetually-smiling slasher villain rather than the mean and silent Dark Bloom of the show, as they need her to be constantly happy for her magic to be stronger. Her outfit would turn from orange to brown, and any pink heart in her clothing would turn grey and crack. Her wings turn black and seem to be constantly on fire.
Valtor is the primary cause of the Freezing, as he was the one to cast the spell that caused the Endless Winter. Valtor was a Domino royal, who, tired of the “lukewarm” way Oritel and Marion were handling the kingdom, tried to stage a state strike. However, that didn’t work and was sentenced to 40 years of prison. He barely escaped, however, and sought refuge in the mountains. It was there he met the Three Ancestral Witches, and made a pact with them: if they would help him with his plan of overthrowing Oritel and Marion, he would help them to get Bloom (Nina, as was currently called) for their plans. He was not able to get farther than causing the Endless Winter and sending every person in Castle Town to Obsidian, as the spell was too much for him and ended up fainting. When he came to be, the Kingdom was dead, and he was sentenced to Omega. Valtor’s a Witch, Enchantix Level, and his title is that of the (self proclaimed Grand) Witch of Dark Flames. He also has in his possesion a dragonscale embedded in a chain-like belt, that grants him power over darkness. His transformation is in tones of maroon with black and red as accents, and it’s also quite revealing.

10 questions tag 📚
Rules: answer 10 questions and ask 10 new ones. Thanks so much @therefugeofbooks for tagging me in this, i’m so excited!!!!!
1. What's your favorite cold drink?
if we are talking about alcoholic drinks, caipirinhas are the utimate cocktail, do not @ me!!!!! all flavors, are just *chef’s kiss*, but like in general i love orange juice and ice tea.
2. What's the first thing you notice about a person?
i honestly don’t know??? i mean, if they are goodlooking and not a bad person??? those are literally my two criteria. i like people who are smart and have pretty smiles and kind eyes, just not to sound shallow (which i kinda am lol)
3. Do you have any pets? What would you name if you had one (more)?
I DO!!!!!!! i have two pets acctually, a cat and a dog and they are EVERYTHING TO ME!!!! their names are jake (the dog) and belo (the cat). if i had one more, i would like to have a black cat named luna, because i’m a sailor moon trash.
4. What was your favorite TV show growing up?
i don’t really remember, but i used to love all shows with girls doing stuff? like winx club and totally spies. i used to love those!!! i still kinda do actually.
5. What's your ideal vacation?
i love travelling with friends, and unfortunately, i don’t get to do as often. so i think my ideal vacation would be like travel to a really cool, unexpected place, with the biggest number of my friends that we can gather to such adventure.
6. Is there any book that you want to read but by any reason you keep avoiding it?
you mean like, 70% of my bookshelf/kindle library????? hahahaha honestly, i buy books faster then i can read them so is always a HUGE tbr pile all around my room, i’m a chaotic reader, and i take no pride in that. but usually the books i keep avoinding are the classics, and the bigger ones. specially because, from a little time now i’m trying to add diversity to the cultural stuff that i consume, and it doesn’t help that most of the books i have here are from dead cishet white dudes. but i will get around reading them, even if is just to complain about it.
7. What book do you hope will be turned into a movie or TV show one day?
one of the best books i’ve read this year was my sister, the serial killer by  oyinkan braithwaite, honestly, this book has everything that i love in fiction: complex women, sibilings relationships, FAMILY DINAMICS TO DIE FOR, pretty women comiting murder, humor... honestly five out of five stars, and i would love to see a movie adaptation of it. i would also love a kyoshi duology adaptation, even if i’ve only read the first book yet, i just love avatar universe so much, and kyoshi is my favorite avatar (ALSO A BISSEXUAL WOMAN OF COLOR IS JUST EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) it would be awesome to see a show about her. bonus points if it is animation, but honestly, there are so many great asian actresses around, i would love anyways.
8. Are there any books that are really popular but you dislike?
i can’t really remember many of those, even if i’m really picky with my readings, i’m quite easy to please. but a recent reading that was ABSOLUTELLY FRUSTRATING because i really wanted to like the book, was hanya yanagihara’s a little life. once again, the book covered subjects that i usually fell really drawn to, such as coming of age, found family, FRIEND GROUPS THAT DON’T FALL APART AFTER ADULTHOOD, non white writer/main characters, lgbtqia+ characters. honestly, a nox’s favorites textbook premise. AND YET, I HATED IT SO MUCH!!!! all the unecessary pain that some of the characters go to, that at one point through my reading i just rolled my eyes when something terrible happened/was revealed about the past of one of the main characters. and the identity of the non white characters wasn’t really explored as they should? it honestly felt like just more excuses to make those characters go through MORE PAIN. it was honestly hard to finish it up. and the more frustrating thing is that so many people seem to think this is a great representative book, just doesn’t sit well with me. i also think is impotant to say that there are SO MANY POSSIBLE TRIGGERS IN THIS BOOK, AND I DIDN’T SEE ANYONE TALKING ABOUT THIS BEFORE I READ IT!!! so i’ll leave a list of the triggers i was abble to notice throught out my reading, in case anyone is thinking about give it a go:
content warnings for a little life by hanya yanagihara: self harm, suicidal ideation, attempted suicide, disordered eating, physical abuse of a minor, domestic abuse, abuse of character with a disability, loss of a child, drug abuse/addiction, sexual assault/rape, pedophilia, ptsd, forced prostitution of a minor
9. When did you last visit a library?
wow it has been so long... i think it was sometime in march of this year, that i went to my college library to pick up some class readings that i had to do, and then QUARENTINE HAPPENED, and i still am with the books i picked up lol. thank god that they lifted up the tax for late books or else i would have to sell my soul to pay it hahahaha i really miss going to college...
10. Could you recommend me a book that you think is underrated?
THIS IS SUCH A HARD QUESTION!!!!!!!!!! as i’ve said, i’m trying to do more diverse readings, and in this time i have come in contact with celeste ng’s work, and it’s honestly SUCH GREAT STORIES!!! i also love some contemporary brazilian authors like vitor martins and lucas rocha (both were translated to english recently, and i really recomend that if you are a english speaker you check their work), i also loved laura pohl’s debute novel, the last 8, she is brazillian as well, but her work is published in the us so no excuse not to check out. also, if like me you are a big fan of avatar universe you totally should check the kyoshi’s novels by f.c yee!!!! i also been meaning to pick up the trilogy of the poppy war written by r.f kuang and children of blood and bone by tomi adeyemi, simply because: WOMEN OF COLOR WRITTING FANTASY!!!!! but it’s not really a recomendation, as i have not read those books, but i am definetly doing it in a near future.
(another author that i can’t go without mention is olivia pilar, she is a black bissexual woman who writes love stories between black women, and some of her short stories are available in english as well, and honestly WHOLESOME CONTENT!!!!!)
— Here are my ten questions, i don’t really know who to tag, but if you see that, and want to answer it i would love to see your answers, so feel free to keep on the tag! i had a lot of fun answering it, and i hope you guys do to!!!
what is your top 5 literature characters, and why?
are you a tea, coffee or hot chocolate kind of person?
what is your favorite/chosen aesthetic?
if you were the final girl in a horror movie, which song would you like to play in the soundtrack when you got away?
who are your favorite relationships in fiction (of any kind)?
how do you feel about villans?
what is your favorite boyband?
do you prefer physical or digital books?
what is your favorite type of story?
what is your favorite season?
Looking forward to see your answers ✨

Noon, ngayon at bukas
Tumblr media
Bibihira lamang ako manipilyo noon ngunit palagi akong nakangiti.

Please DO NOT REPOST.
Full Resolution here
I am never going to try to do a drawing this half awake again...Is all I'm saying so please do not give me crap about the lines...In away I left the lines like that because given how these characters are and where they live, I thought the rough lines gave it some kinda a style to it and...yeah I did this half awake...I had this idea to draw and couldn't ignore it. More Hazbin work, well more so Alastor work. I don't think I should explain who they're dressed up as but not everyone is a Sailor Moon fan so for those who dunno, this is Mimzy as Queen Serenity, Alastor as King Endymion and Tilly Melody as Small Lady. I know that technically Charlie and her family would suit this cosplay more but, being we barely know anything about Charlie's family, eh...I prefer drawing characters I at least know a little bit about so I can feel more passion when I draw them. That and Alastor looks awesome in a tux and you know he does. Also, I know Mimzy kinda is a bit slimmed down here...Please don't give me hell for that. I'm still getting the hang of drawing different body shapes. As you may notice, I do a standard kind of anime style most of the time, least when I'm not doing MLP or Winx Club style, so I often draw characters the same shape most of the time. So drawing curvy or thick characters or shoot, even muscular characters, not exactly my forte if you will. I still tried to make her a bit thick in the hips and breast at least. So yeah, don't give me flack about body shaming. I wasn't trying to. You will be blocked if you give me crap. I will say I'm pleased with how Alastor came out. That's the best I've ever drawn him. Same with Mimzy even if she is a little slimmed out. First time drawing her, again don't give me flack.  As for how I feel about Tilly, my NG,  I'm thinking about changing her eye type to maybe her mother's or a combo of both, so her eyes may look different next time I draw her. She still looks cute and is happy with her proud parents. Tilly Melody and art belong to me. Stage, lights found on Pngtree Mimzy and Alastor © VivziePop

Growing up I knew I was different. It was very clear to me that I'm gay. ❤️
Tumblr media
I am one of few who were lucky to have such great support system coming from their own family. I will never forget the day I told mama I'm gay. Coming out made my relationship with my parents stronger. Mas lalo akong napalapit sa parents ko. 💕
Of course, some people who identify as members of the LGBT community may choose to come out in a public way, others will not feel safe to do so, while others never will "officially" come out and simply live their lives. It's important to remember that an individual's decision to come out is their own personal choice.
So ikaw na nagbabasa nito, you don't have the right to out someone. Huwag mong agawin sa kanila yung right nila to decide how and when to come out. 😉❤️🏳️‍🌈

1, 3, 10, and 15 for the magical girl asks!
1. favorite magical girl show?
I have so many faves~ but my main ones are Winx Club, W.I.T.C.H, Tokyo Mew Mew, and Sailor Moon ❤️
3. what would your magical girl self look like?
Bright purple/magenta hair, sparkling green eyes, and a fabulously badass outfit ensemble to kick some ass~ ;D
10. if you could create a magical girl series, what would it be like?
I kinda technically made one of my own (with my Winx NG and sorta with my Three Mages story), but basically it’d be a story involving alot of strong female friendships and the like~
15. what magical girls do you admire and why?
Sailor Jupiter comes to mind, since I love how she’s able to balance being a badass fighter but still has that soft feminine side (her rose earrings, love of cooking, etc.).

01: Noon at Ngayon
Back then, long before you were born, your mother used to work as a katulong of the Trese Family and was very close to its matriarch, Miranda Trese. Coming from the province, she was no stranger to superstitions—even more so after knowing the work of Miranda's husband Anton Trese, who was actually the Babaylan-Mandirigma of Manila.
Years later, after giving birth to you around the same time Miranda gave birth to her twins (one a stillborn, unfortunately), it was you and Alexandra who became best buddies instead, as different your personalities were. You two had practically grown up together and you yourself heard countless stories of the supernatural from your Tito Anton. It wasn't that hard to believe when he and his sigbin companions would sometimes come home tracking blood prints on the floors (which you'd helped your mother clean up). Heck, you'd even met Señor Armanaz, the Great Stallion himself and the ruling tikbalang of the Armanaz herd. That pretty, white-haired diwata seemed extremely fond of you, too, which was evident when you'd sneak in with Alexandra to Tito Anton's meetings and she would smile (even wave) at you happily.
You had absolutely no idea why the fae-like lady was so nice to you, but you weren't complaining at all!
However, in spite of your experiences with the supernatural, you and your mother always believed that you were normal humans. In actuality, that was who you were for the majority of your childhood. It was only until Miranda herself saw a vision of you—a much older you—fighting the monsters of the Underworld alongside her own daughter. During dinnertime, Miranda told your mother that she saw you blessed by the heavens with powers that would aid in the battle against evil.
It sounded absolutely ridiculous, right? Yeah, your mom thought so, too.
Your mother only laughed it off as she placed a steaming bowl of tinola in front of Alexandra's brothers, who instantly dug in like they haven't been fed in years.
"Boys! Dahan-dahan lang," Anton reprimanded his sons. "Or else you'll choke and the soup will come out of your noses!"
"Okay, Papa."
"Grabe ka naman, Miranda. I doubt that anything like that's going to happen to my daughter," your mom chuckled, watching your little hands try to feed Alexandra with a piece of chicken. "Unlike you guys, our lineage isn't anything special. Ordinaryo lang ang lahi namin."
Miranda sighed, looking at you and her only living daughter enjoying your time being kids, "I guess you're right. Baka panaginip lang talaga 'yun."
Anton glanced at her knowingly. Although he was aware that you and your mom didn't dabble in magic or anything like they did, he knew that whenever Miranda—one of the Seven Seers—had such vivid dreams, it was something of great importance. But he decided to say nothing, understanding how much your mother wanted to let you live as normal of a life possible in this household.
That was when you were seven years old. One year later, Miranda died fighting against a group of aswang who decided to betray Anton. Said man found the eight-year-old Alexandra hiding in a corner behind the waterfalls, scared and holding Sinag close to her heaving chest as she tried to hold her tearful sobs in.
Of course, a few days later, you and your mother attended the funeral with the mourning Trese family. All the brothers had done their best to stay strong, especially for their little sister who didn't fully understand yet what just happened. Little you ran towards Alexandra, holding her hand tightly as her mother's casket was lowered. Around you were various comrades, both human and non-human, paying their respects to their bereaved allies.
That day, as you turned your back to return to your mother's arms, you knew you would never forget the feeling of numerous unearthly eyes following your every movement.
Even they could sense that there was something about you, a so-called regular human child. You smelled human and had the aura of one, but there was something they couldn't place. It was like a tiny rock getting into your shoe, not coming out at all.
Much changed after that, but you and Alexandra remained close together. To your dismay, just after you graduated elementary, you and your mother had to move back to the province to stay with your sick grandparents. The last thing you could remember was kneeling in the back of the car, looking sadly through the rear windscreen as Alexandra and her brothers waved goodbye to you.
More than a decade had passed since then. You used to write letters to Alexandra, but after Hank told you she had to undergo the trials of the Puno ng Balete, you haven't heard from her (although Hank did disclose that she'd managed to come home safely, which was a great relief to you). You didn't blame her; you knew Tito Anton had passed away in the five years she was gone and that she had to take over the title of Lakan, as well as the Babaylan-Mandirigma of Manila. It was a demanding job! You remembered Tito Anton sometimes staying up all night—breakfast would be served and he would still be in his study, going over paperwork. On other days, he would be gone for consecutive nights handling cases all around Manila. You could only pray Alexandra was fine.
Your life had continued on, as well—you took care of your ill grandparents until they died, helped your mother in the province, went to a good highschool, then earned your degree in another prominent city that wasn't Manila.
Your mom actually recommended that you go to school somewhere else, given the constantly rising number of attacks in the capital of the country. And so you did. Life was hard, but normal until then.
The funny thing was that, when you reached the age of twenty-one, you finally understood why those supernatural creatures kept looking at you weirdly as a kid (and why Lady Diwata liked you so much).
What was even funnier was that the dramatic revelation came to you when you weren't in the Philippines. It was after you freshly graduated college, when you were traveling all over Asia to volunteer in charity projects. It was always your dream to one day expand your horizons not only beyond your province, but the Philippines itself, while also doing good in the world.
And here you were, walking that path you dreamt of.
The organization you luckily managed to become a member of provided everything you needed, and every few months, you would move from country to country. Because of that, you'd already been able to travel to so many places. First it was Thailand, then Indonesia, China, South Korea, India, Japan, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, and currently, you were in Vietnam. Visiting those places was fun and gave you a whole new perspective of the world you lived in; it was a... learning experience, too.
Still, that incident happened when you were in Thailand, when you were the last one in the rented apartment balcony taping up the boxes for the donation drive tomorrow. Yawning, you cut more duct tape and stuck them to the open boxes tightly.
"Inday," someone said from behind you. You didn't bother turning around, thinking it was one of your fellow volunteers looking for you this late at night. Probably your roommate. She was the only one who usually called you by your nickname instead of your real name.
"Hmm?" you hummed, taping up more boxes. "Papasok na ako sa kwarto, Lyn. I just have a few more boxes to close. Alam mong mapapagalitan ako kung may hindi madidistribute bukas."
"Hindi ako si Lyn."
You paused, then slowly turned around, flinching at the sudden bright light that shone right against your eyes. For a moment, akala mo namatay ka na at hinaharap mo si San Pedro.
It was a glowing figure in white whose face you couldn't clearly see, which frightened you even more.
"Ay, mama!" you exclaimed, shielding your eyes and falling to your knees. Then, you gasped loudly, patting your body and panicking with closed lids. "Oh my God, am I dead? Nasa heaven na po ba ako?" Your lips wobbled. "Ngayon pa nga lang ako nakaalis ng Pilipinas... I haven't even done all the things I've wanted to do! Hindi pa ako nakapagpaalam sa nanay ko—aray!"
You'd felt something hit the back of your head. Hard. It was the glowing figure in white, but now you could see their unimpressed face scowling at you.
"Kalma lang, Inday. Hindi ka pa patay, pero makinig ka nang mabuti," they shushed you urgently (you weren't sure if they were male or female). "Do not be afraid. I am a messenger from the heavens, and I bear great news!"
"Great news...?" you trailed off, then your eyes widened excitedly. "Like, nanalo ba ako ng lotto? Isang milyon? Bilyon? Hala! Wait, is this a Mama Mary moment? I'm not ready to be the next immaculate conception!"
They glared at you, making you shut up instantly. "Sorry, I'll shut up now," you apologized with a mumble. This person (thing?) was kind of... strict. Whatever did you do wrong? You were just sleep-deprived and running on energy drinks (as well as kape).
"I have come to tell you that you are the vessel of the last skymaiden," they revealed, arms wide open. The light around them seemed to grow even brighter, making you squint. You felt like you were about the go blind! "Ikaw ang huling biraddali, Y/N L/N."
At ayun, zero brain cells remaining. Tunay na nagloading screen ang brain mo. Nag-error at nagcrash pa nga siguro, eh.
"... Ha? Ano?"
You blinked, completely speechless—as seen by how wide your jaw had dropped open. It wasn't that you were unfamiliar with the biraddali, it was just that you'd only heard of them once when you were just a young child. Your Tita Miranda had mentioned they were long gone from the world of the supernatural.
"Oh no, me? A biraddali? You're joking," you stuttered out, pointing at yourself. "Aren't they extinct or something? And, uh... not human?"
They nodded, "Yes. It is correct that everyone in the mystical world thought that the biraddali were long gone, even before the colonizers came to conquer the native lands. However, before the skymaidens all disappeared, the youngest and most powerful one among the seven sisters sealed her soul away to the rivers of time until the strength of a heavenly being was needed to help purify the evils of the world." The figure floated closer to you. "That last biraddali's soul, along with its corresponding power, traits, and knowledge, had chosen to reside deep within you the moment you were conceived."
Honestly, how were you even supposed to react? Your life was nowhere near ready for something like this. Was this a prank by your friends? Your colleagues? The light around this person seemed too authentic to be fake, though.
You stayed in shock for an entire minute, silent. The being in front of you only waited for a response.
"Ano 'to, Sailor Moon? Winx Club?" you whispered to yourself, before slapping your own cheek and scolding yourself. A stinging red mark was left on your face. "Inday, kakamanhwa mo 'yan! Nasosobraan ka na ata, matulog ka na!"
Sighing heavily, you rubbed your face tiredly, still in disbelief that you—according to this stranger—were apparently some old soul from a species of ethereal beings that were long gone. It sounded like something out of those reincarnation webnovels you got addicted to. What now, you were the MC? Wattpad ka, girl?
"Look, this is a mistake. I still have to wake up early tomorrow to give out the donations," you spoke to the glowing being (or whatever it was), laughing nervously. "I'm sorry, but I think you have the wrong person. Either that or I must be hallucinating from sleep deprivation, because I'm definitely not a divine creature. You're probably just a product of my imagination. Sorry, I'm going to bed."
Bang!
At that moment, the power in the building went out. The only thing you could see was the thing who assumed you were a biraddali (they were so bright they were like a flashlight in the dark for you).
"Brownout?" you blinked. It felt wrong, though. It was eerily silent. "Did a fuse blow up?"
"Nagsimula na ang iyong unang pagsubok, Y/N," they announced seriously. "Creatures of the dark have already begun to take over this building. You may not have noticed, but all throughout your life, you have always been helping and giving. It is your nature as a being descended from the heavens themselves, and now, it is time for you to accept your destiny."
"Hoy, sandali lang! Sandali, sandali!" You were absolutely wide awake now as you heard the sounds of strange whispers around you. It was terrifyingly creepy, much creepier than whatever you'd seen back in the Trese Residence (and you'd seen a lot in that house). You did not want to be a part of a horror movie-like lifestyle. "Don't I have a choice in this?! I—I don't have any training or fighting skills! Hindi ako Alexandra Trese o Babaylan-Mandirigma! I'm not ready for this, holy sh—"
The candescent creature raised a brow at you, "Inday, I just told you that you have the power of a lost mystical being. And tell me, if you had the power to save your companions in this building from the forces of evil, would you save them?"
You were silent, knowing the answer.
"Well?" they prodded.
You bit your lip, "Oo naman. I'm not heartless!" But you were a little impulsive. And apparently, insane.
"That's what I thought. I just need you to believe in yourself," the being encouraged, gentler this time. It transformed into something smaller and rounder—like a ball of light. "Ikaw ang huling biraddali, Y/N, at marami kang kapangyarihan. Isa dito ay ang pagtulong sa mga nangangailangan, lalo na laban sa masasamang nilalang."
Bestie, what had you just gotten into?
You swallowed apprehensively, then nodded in determination, "Sige. So, how do I save the people in the building? Biraddali were said to be able to shapeshift, right? If I remember the tale correctly. Oh my God, I can't believe this is happening to me right now."
"That's just one of your abilities, but I'll teach you. I'm actually your guide," they replied confidently. "With me, you'll be able to master your powers and exceed your capabilities in no time!"
"Wait! Anong pangalan mo?" you asked breathlessly, following them as they speedily flew out of the room. "Grabe, slow down! I'm not athletic! I haven't even exercised this week, goodness."
"... Gabay. Ako si Gabay."
Despite the adrenaline and fear running in your veins, you still grinned up at the ball of light, "Okay. Nice to meet you, Gabay."
This was just the beginning of your supernatural combat training abroad. When you returned to the Philippines three years later, you were stronger, faster, and more powerful than you'd ever felt before. It was crazy.
Oh, that guy who tried to rob you when you came back to Manila was crazy, too. The two identical-looking men in dark suits and white ties—you wondered how they were surviving the heat in that attire—could only watch in awe as you chased down that man who stole your bag while doing acrobatics and parkour.
"Uy, Kuya Crispin, sino kaya 'yun?"
"Ewan ko, Basilio."
"... She's kind of pretty. Type ko. Type mo rin ata."
"The more important question is, paano niya na nahuli ang magnanakaw?"
"Oo nga, no? One in a million chance 'yan dito sa Maynila, haha! Ang astig ni ate!"

± Author's Notes ±
Ayieee, type daw tayo ng kambal! 😌
How the hell did I write this entirely random thing in one day? 2k+ words? Ano daw? 😃⁉️
You know, this was supposed to just be a Trese one-shot or a bunch of drabbles for the characters I'm currently simping for... but it turned into a full-blown, shameless self-insert slash crackfic. Kakacellphone ko 'yan. 🤦‍♀️
Nagresearch pa ako ng articles about Filipino skymaidens because I wanted something similiar to the Japanese celestial maidens (tennyo). Very random idea but why not? 👻
I also haven't read the comics so please forgive me for any inaccuracies and of course, misspellings/errors. 🥲😗
Anyways, comments and constructive criticism are welcome! Hit those heart, reblog, and follow buttons for updates! Just comment if you want to be tagged in the next chapters. ❤

Hopefully this will be a good world-building question: What is a major festival (whether magic or mundane) that is celebrated on the major planets in your universe, and what is the reasoning for each festival? How do each of your main fairies feel about their homeworld's festival, and how do they personally celebrate them? Feel free to use your main fairies from your canon-verse or second AU-verse, but I am kind of curious to know more about your new AU fairies~ :3
One major festival I see happening in my Winx headcanon would be one to celebrate the beginning of a fairy’s “magic core” growing, almost like a “coming of age” ceremony, in a way. In a fairy’s first year of experiencing magic, they’d be tasked to join this festival to undergo a series of “tests” (in the form of carnival-like games) to see what kind of “core" their magic would lead to. Water magic, light magic, dark magic... anything is possible according to these tests.
By the end of the festival, the girl’s magic core would be finally realized and accepted by the other festival goers around her (usually consisting of her family and/or friends), with a gift of flowers (of their realm’s natural flora) being the big “prize” at the end to showcase the fairy’s acceptance into magic society. For each magic realm the type of magic cores would usually consist of stuff like Plant magic cores for those from Linphea, Water-based magic cores for Andros citizens, technological cores for Zenith residents, and so on.
For my main cast of girls (of both my canon + AU cast), they all experienced the core festival rather differently:
Sera almost quit her festival until she finally “sparked out” some blue lightning-like rays that everyone interpreted as being a “lightning magic core” (unaware at the time of “Dragon Tears” existence).
Carina’s went by fine until she lost her temper at her mom’s pushiness that her “fiery star” sparks started to flare up from her body... giving the reveal of her having a “star-based” core but also coming at a cost as the flares accidentally burned/melted off her flower gift.
Iris’ almost ended like Sera’s though at the very end she started to “puff out” some cloud-like magic sparks.
Persy’s went by swimmingly until she surprised everyone by accidentally poisoning the necklace of flowers she received as a festival prize, revealing her magic core being that of “poison”.
Saphira’s was pretty uneventful as everyone had correctly theorized that she’d receive some gem-based magic like that of her mother’s. The only thing that surprised them was the big statue of jagged diamonds she accidentally made when she sneezed upon receiving her flower prize.
Tetra’s was rather difficult for her since she didn’t seem to exhibit any of the usual signs of one carrying a technological/electric-based core... but near the end she was able to show her own talent for controlling “machina” by powering up an old, tiny robot that short-circuited whilst it was trying to hand her the flower prize.
Matty’s wasn’t exactly a “hard” festival, but she mostly struggled with trying to get in-tune with the more “relaxing” Melody-based games that someone like Musa would usually be a pro at. But once she got a comforting speech by her little sis Kazumi she was able to summon up enough sound-based magic to show her own core.
Lilly wasn’t sure if she would’ve been able to pass her festival due to Drake having to be close at her side, but thankfully they were able to make enough of a compromise to show her own light-based core (especially for when she was able to clear up the skies that were starting to become overcast over the festival that day).
Elsa actually never had a festival of her own since she came from a line of witches (so for her, she had to experience and come to terms with her ice fairy magic with just herself and Jack there). Her friends might come up with one for her though in the future to make sure she felt “included” alongside them.
Liana was kind of struggling with her festival since Persy was so adamant to stay close by her “baby sis” to make sure she passed it. But with enough persistence (and Persy herself getting nudged to give Liana some space), Liana managed to pass thanks to her own plant magic coming out at the last second.
Viola’s went by surprisingly peacefully, since she was used enough to the peaceful Melodian traditions that she was able to get through most of the simpler games to make it through to the end. The only problem was her twin Rio getting a little jealous and kept nagging to join in on some of her games (despite not even being a fairy). But in the end they were able to settle their differences when their mothers moved in to make them stop fighting.

Kalalakihan sa Konteksto ng Animation na Winx Club
Tumblr media
