Tired and bored of Syrcus Tower and Labyrinth of the Ancients? Don't worry, I found a solution! Not really a solution for not getting it, because I cannot help with that. But hear me out and maybe this might help you as well.

Usually the FF14 music gets me through even some boring dungeons. As with the two Crystal Tower raids this is a bit difficult, because I got bored of that as well. Some of you might know about my obsession with the Persona games. At a whim I switched of FF14 music (which I really rarely do, because it simply is soooo good) and put on the following while doing Labyrinth of the Ancients - "Life Will Change" from Persona 5.

Totally different feeling. Always loved that moment in P5, when you get to the last part of a mind palace and walk up to the boss while that music plays in the background.

So, problem fixed. You're welcome!

Will and Nico being friends since The Titans Curse and continuing being friends throughout the rest of the books is one of my favorite headcanons, not only because it's a cute trope, but because it would explain so many things in the canon, like how quickly they got together, or why they barely talked about their trauma to eachother in The Sun and the Star

Imagine after the battle of the laybrinth and battle of manhattan, Nico and Will have late night talks in the forest where no one would interrupt them

Them opening up about their trauma to eachother

Nico talking to Will about Biancas death, Will talking to Nico about the death of his siblings

Will telling Nico that he will wait for him until Nico himself believes that there is a place for him in camp

Nico surviving through Tartarus because of the thought of his friend waiting for him in camp, and refusing to be another person that Will looses

Will being the reason why Nico stays in camp half-blood after the battle of manhattan and the battle with gaea

Imagine during the 3 days in the infirmary Nico tells Will about his experience in Tartarus, and Will comforting him and helping him with his nightmares

Will having a crush on Nico ever since he first arrived at camp, and the years of pining he endured

They barely talked about their own trauma in The Sun and the Star, because they already did, they know, they know the horrors the other has been through, and it's an unspoken thing between the both of them

They've seen eachother at their best and at their worst

Also the angst potential. Like imagine, after the Battle of the Laybrinth, Nico is gushing about Percy to Will, and Will is just smiling and nodding while internally he's having a mental breakdown because his crush of like 2 years likes someone the complete opposite of him

I'm curious how he would react to things like The Labyrinth, Star Wars or Lord of the Rings

Would he understand Sauron? Or would he love Aragorn? How would he vibe with the Laybrinth? The very human theme of a teenage girl maturing

Would he see himself in Anakin? The journey to becoming Vader?

izzy asking magnus to ‘distract’ alec so he takes a break from work

Magnus portals inside Alec’s office and throws himself down on the couch with a loud thud.

Alec lifts his head up from the files on the table.

“Hey, baby.”

“Mmmmm.”

“What’s going on?”

“Hshajsjjsslaksk.”

There’s a noise signaling that Alec pushed back his chair. His husband walks around the desk and bends down infront of the couch. Alec puts a gentle hand on his back while running the other one through his hair.

“Magnus?”

He eventually turns and peeks his face out from under his hands.

“Hi.”

Alec gives him a sweet smile and caresses his cheek. “Is everything okay?”

He shakes his head, “I’m dying.”

“Okay. And why’s that?” Alec snorts.

Magnus begrudgingly sits up on the couch and complains, “Everyone needs me today. I want a break.”

There’s a small frown on Alec’s face. He raises a hand to Magnus’s forehead and thumbs it soothingly. “Then take a break, baby. Go home and rest.”

“I can’t.”

“Why?”

“I have so much work. I was called to the LA Institute for a consult. And then, Ragnor is calling me to the Spiral Laybrinth. I also have to work on this potion and it’s of supreme importance. For that, I need to go to the Shanghai Shadow Market. It’s all very urgent, you see,” Magnus rambles. “And, I need a shadowhunter’s assistance at the shadow market and Simon had volunteered but something came up so he can’t come. Biscuit isn’t free as well.”

Alec squeezes Magnus’s face between his hands and shushes him, “Breathe.”

He takes a deep breath, sighing into it as he leans against Alec’s body.

After a few seconds, Magnus puts his feet on the ground and gets ready to stand. “I should be going. I have work to do. And, as I’m sure, you have as well.”

Alec shakes his head, a tender expression on his face. “My work can wait. But you don’t seem like you should be working right now.”

Magnus gives him a fond smile. “Well, my darling, I wish I could spend all my leisure time with you but alas, the world calls for me,” he says dramatically.

Alec chuckles at the man. “Okay Mr. the-world-needs-me, what’s the highest priority right now?”

He thinks for a moment, “Cuddles?”

The shadowhunter snorts, then leans closer to kiss his lips softly. Magnus tugs Alec closer by his sweater as he angles his face to deepen the kiss.

As they pull back, Alec breathes against his mouth. “This will have to do for now. I’ll go to the shadow market with you.”

Magnus raises an eyebrow, “You’ll come with me?”

Alec feigns offence, “Hello? Shadowhunter here,” he points at himself. “You need a shadowhunter and I am one. And frankly, I am offended that I wasn’t your first choice for this mission.”

“Jealous, my dear?”

Alec rolls his eyes at him.

“I knew you were extremely busy,” Magnus plays with Alec’s fingers as he adds, “I didn’t want to bother you.”

“Never too busy for you,” Alec breathes and pecks his nose. “Come on now,” he raises on his feet and lets out his hands for Magnus to take. “It’s a date.”

A huge grin appears on his face at the words. “Shadow market dates are my favorite,” he says excitedly.

“Me too,” he says.

Magnus snaps his fingers and a small apple appears in his hand.

“Please tell me you have eaten something else than this Apple the entire day,” Alec raises an eyebrow at him.

“You know how I feel about breakfast, sweetheart,” Magnus kisses Alec’s pout. “I was going to come here for lunch but then I got late and I’m sure you’ve already eaten. I’ll eat something after we’re done with work,” Magnus says, grinning internally.

There’s a second of panic on Alec’s face before he replies, “Yes, of course I’ve eaten. But you’re going to have a proper lunch. We can go to that dimsum place in Shanghai you like. Then, shadow market.”

Hypocrite, Magnus thinks with fondness.

“If you insist.”

They have a fulfilling lunch and the next few hours are spent strolling in the shadow market. The weather turns the right amount of chilly and it’s a great outing altogether.

They hold hands throughout and kiss every chance they get. They’re used to the Shanghai shadow market now, having spent a lot of days here.

Magnus finds a few interesting items that he’s been wanting for a while. As they portal back to Alec’s room, there’s a small frown on his husband’s face.

He ignores that as he lies on the couch, his head in Alec’s lap.

“I’m going to go and get the boys from Maryse,” he says and raises his head up to leave but Alec’s hand in his hair stops him.

“What about Spiral Laybrint?”

“Oh. I’ll go there tomorrow.”

Alec hums. “And LA institute?”

“You were right, my love. I deserve a break.”

“Hmm. Hmm.”

Before Alec can question more, Magnus turns in Alec’s arms and starts making his way over him.

“You know, there’s something else on my mind.”

Alec looks down and smiles, “And what’s that?”

“You know. I could blow your brains out,” Magnus suggests simply. Like he’s telling Alec about the weather.

“Or,” Alec removes both of Magnus’s hand from his waist and threads their fingers together, “You can tell me all about the potion you’re going to be making.”

Magnus tilts his head in confusion, “What?”

“The potion,” Alec says animatically. “For which we went to the market.”

“Oh. Yes, of course. I’ll get to it as soon as I get home,” he explains, trying to not get caught because while Magnus is a great liar, a master of words—someone no one can match in storytelling and insanity, there’s one man who can easily catch him in a lie.

And that Magnus is currently peering right into his face with his beautiful soft eyes filled with love.

Hell, his next potion should be focused on creating a resistance pill against Alec’s eyes.

As Magnus shuffled to pull himself up, Alec pulls himself against his chest again. “You know, an interesting fact just struck my brain.”

Magnus puts his chin on Alec’s chest, flutters his eyelashes as he speaks, “What’s that?”

Alec runs his fingers through his husband’s hair as he answers, “We spent three hours at the shadow market and yet, you bought nothing of importance. Nothing, you couldn’t have easily magicked. Neither did I hear you talk about any potion.”

His eyes widen a little and he covers up his words, “I didn’t want to bore you with magic talk, darling.”

“Really now?” Alec mumbles, his fingers making a soothing circles on his head. “You once spent seven hours retelling me about the greatest inventions of the shadow world—the portals. I also remember once you informing me about the different between two types of owl feathers used in potion-making. And what about that time when—-“

Magnus puts his palm against Alec’s mouth to stop him. “Okay, shush. I get it.”

Alec shakes his head in amusement, “So….”

“Just forgot about it.”

The shadowhunter raises an eyebrow at him and Magnus sighs, realising that there’s no point to continuing the charade.

“Okay fine. I was lying.”

Alec throws up a hand in the air in victory. “I knew it. I knew something was up.”

“You win,” Magnus rolls his eyes defeatedly.

“But why?”

He sits straighter and lets Alec stretch his legs on his lap. “I just wanted you to have a few hours off work. Isabelle called me and informed me that you were very stressed.”

Alec’s face soften at the words. “Magnus—“

“I did what I had to and I will not apologise for it.”

“You’re an idiot,” Alec says affectionately.

“I’m not the one who skips on lunch because he’s overworked,” Magnus points out.

“I do not forget—” Alec stops himself after a second, realising that lying to Magnus isn’t conducive either. “Okay, fine.” His eyes widen then, “Wait, the whole apple thing was a lie too? What else are you lying about? Our kids? Are they real or not?”

Magnus rolls his eyes, swatting his chest. “Oh shut up, you.”

“Are you even a warlock?” Alec puts a hand on his face in fake astonishment.

“You’re ridiculous,” Magnus points out.

“I married a liar. Wow.”

There’s a beat of silence as Magnus takes a deep breath, mulling over his husband’s ridiculousness.

“Are you done?”

“Almost,” Alec says cheekily.

“Can we skip this part? Because I have things to do?”

Alec arches a brow. “Like what? You have a 7 o clock appointment for lying classes?”

Magnus groans dramatically before he jumps on Alec. He frantically works on his pants and unbuttons them.

His husband sucks in a sharp breath, as he realises where this is going.

“Baby—“

“I’m going to make good on my promise and blow your brains out.”

“I don’t remember such promise,” Alec smirks as he immediately latches onto Magnus’s neck.

“Not to you,” Magnus explains. “I made a promise to Isabelle.”

“What?” Alec squeals.

“She told me I should blow your brains out or something to get you to relax. I was going to do that but I thought I’d take you to lunch first,” Magnus swallows as he pushes Alec’s pants down. “You know me, I like to dine a man before I get into their pants.”

Alec chuckles which quickly turns into a choke. It takes him very hard to find the words. “Magnus, I….I need to get back to work.”

He leans closer to Alec’s face and pushes their lips together in a dirty kiss, “You can, after this.”

“You know I won’t be able to do that. I’ll be sleepy after this,” Alec struggles through the words.

Magnus hums before he pulls back. “You want me to stop?”

Alec’s hand on his hand stops him, “Don’t even.”

“Thought so,” a grin appears on his face and gets back to his task.

“I hate you,” Alec groans.

Magnus gives him a cheeky smile. “You don’t.”

A few hours later, when Alec finally reaches home, he falls straight into Magnus’s arms and tucks his face in his neck. “Thank you, baby.”

“For the blowjob?” Magnus grins.

Alec chuckles softly. “For always looking out for me.”

RAIN CODE X POKEMON:

Yuma and Eevee

You Heard of Detective Pikachu... Get ready for Detective Eevee!

Yuma's Eevee is also a top detective. (it also strongly resembles him) Raised in the WDO all it's life, it has a lot of strong insight and can usually tell if a culprit has malicious intent behind them. (but since it only senses malicious intent it isn't always right on the culprit) It's also very helpful during investigations. (its had lots of experience) With Yuma having amnesia, Eevee is very helpful to him during crime scene investigations. It has a serious nature and it has a strong will.

Of course, because of this, it does not get along with Shinigami. Because of Eevee's strong insight, it can sense her. (and pokemon and human are bound in this world by a link, so whatever yuma can see, eevee can usually see too) Being the jealous type, she calls it a “rat” constantly telling Yuma that it would just get in his way. With both of them being Yuma's partner, they became rivals. They fight and argue a lot (shinigami can understand pokemon speech) causing poor Yuma to get a headache. Yuma also has Shinigami translate what Eevee says during investigations. (tho she almost never complies unless yuma says "please" or begs her, causing eevee to get annoyed with her again) The fighting never ends with them.

Eevee does get along fairly well with the rest of the nocturnal detective agency’s Pokémon partners. It becomes best friends with Desuhiko’s partner, it has a fellow kinship with Halara’s partner since both are oddly colored, when it later meets Fubuki’s partner for the short time it comes to their aid it gets along pretty okay with it, its a little wary of Vivia’s partner, but it doesn’t hate it. And it likes to hang and take naps with the chief's partner when its at the agency (though it isn’t often) Outside of the agency, the only other Pokémon it knows personally is Kurumi’s partner. It actually has a huge crush on Eevee and loves following it around whenever Yuma and Kurumi are together. And it eventually meets Makoto’s partner, though it isn’t until MUCH later. Makoto lies saying he doesn’t have a partner when he first meets it and Yuma. But in reality, he's hiding it from sight.

Eevee can join in the Mystery Laybrinth as a guest due to the Coalescence ability since it is usually on Yuma's shoulder. Meaning it does sadly forget the case it helped it's master investigate. But it helps in other ways. When in a Mystery Labyrinth, Eevee holds onto the Solution Keys until Yuma asks for them. It carries them in a little keyring. After the mystery is solved it forgets the event like any other guest. But it makes Yuma bond with it more, since he remembers.

HUGE RAINCODE SPOILERS BELOW

Being the partner of Number One of the WDO, Eevee completely objected to his master using the Book Of Death to erase his memory for the Kanai Ward Mystery. (so it already didn't like shinigami) But he told Eevee to look after him and always be by his side to help Shinigami form him into a detective using the skills they both learned in their journey becoming Number One, together.

Since this was a command from it's master, Eevee obliged. It cared deeply for him and made sure to keep a watchful eye on him.

Through Yuma's amnesiac journey, Eevee remained by his side. Despite Yuma forgetting about it, he still allowed it to stay with him no matter how much Shinigami protested. It proved helpful in every case and even in the Mystery Labyrinth. And is even a good source of comfort for Yuma whenever he gets anxious. (he gives it hugs :3) It was always cheering for him, even if he lost his memory.

Though the memory loss does cause a bit of friction in their relationship. It even causes them to fight in Chapter 4. Due to it having the same worry as Vivia, because Eevee knew who the culprit was from the start. (Sensing the murderous and malicious intent from the culprit when he rescued Yuma) It felt conflicted and caused it to be distant from Yuma. It was both disappointed in his reluctance and worried for his feelings. Even though it knew feelings had to be discarded in these situations, with the methods of the WDO (and Number One himself) it knew for so long.

Though after Yuma got stronger from the ordeal and before the final battle, the two were practically inseparable. Shinigami even earned a bit of respect for it (though she still calls it a rat)

Up until they reach the ugly truth and Makoto reveals himself behind the mask, as well as the partner he's kept hidden all this time.

Shinigami and Eevee finally make attempts to team up to help Yuma get through the last laybrinth and final battle with his homunculus. Helping him out of the despair he feels losing who he is when both of them remember who he truly is and that he shouldn't give up. Because they're both by his side.

Once he snaps out of it the final battle between the two begin. Eevee fights Mimikyu while Yuma fights Makoto.

In the end they are both defeated. And they find the solution for Kanai Ward's mystery. Eevee comforts Mimikyu the whole time Yuma is talking to Makoto.

In the end, Shinigami acknowledges Yuma's partner and admits defeat. Allowing Yuma to leave from the emergency exit. Telling him he already has a great partner. Though the goodbye was still tearful and emotional. Even Eevee shed a few tears. It had began to get used to Shinigami's company. But it knew this would happen, but she would be missed. Eevee comforted Yuma until the fated goodbye kiss from her, as both of them left through the emergency exit.

Upon the Epilogue of the story, the final labyrinth, and Yuma getting his memory back after parting ways with Shinigami, he embraces his beloved partner as Eevee squeals in joy with it's beloved master's memory returned.

"Thank you, Eevee. Good work."

Eventually with his resign from the WDO and journey through the world to erase all unsolved mysteries, his Eevee eventually evolves into Umbreon during a case at night. Becoming ESPECIALLY more useful in night investigations. Using it's glowing rings to help navigate through the dark, AND it can now produce ultraviolet light to help investigate in crime scenes (in a way it became its own forte although its rings are blue it can also produce purple light) The duo was stronger than ever now that they've both evolved from the Kanai Ward experience, together.

The Noir Detective and his Partner of the Night~🔎

(Yuma and Eevee were more like business partners when he was Number One with it as his partner, but the journey through Kanai Ward made Yuma love and care for Eevee as a friend, and thus post game when Yuma appreciates Eevee more with his memories back from the experience, the friendship evolution finally happens. The Journey helped them both grow as individuals, and as friends)

allison is already my mother idgaf like ppl on the pjotv subreddit were going crazy overr the fact that rick riordan could dare change another thing from the book but tbh i see this as a win. in the books we never see true adult demigod life. the only examples we have are luke, quintus, and new rome. luke was on a ship and was a vessel for majority of the books, plus he was at camp halfblood for most of his older teen years. quintus literally lived in the laybrinth he is the worst example of this. and new rome adult demigods are guarded from danger while they live their lives. allison gives the oppournity to see how adult demigods who may not want to live at camp halfblood (shes a apart of luke's army) live. grocery shopping, keeping jobs, having a social life, and just regular human tasks. it also depends on whose her parent, but i want to see how someone like her would generally get around and live their lives. it would be nice to show that a demigods life doesnt have to be over once they reach 25, some demigods can have full lives too.

The power of Oxloth is mostly based off of support. She can create a bubble around allies or enemies and do stuff like buff or debuff their magical/celestial power, she can even heal while inside this sphere.

The larger the area of effect is, the less control she has over that space. She can even do stuff like teleport people from the ship and back like those things in Star Trek.

Passive Ability: Immortality

Every time Ramiris reaches the end of her lifespan, she will revert back to a child-like state. Bubba equated it to the process immortal jellyfish go through to keep their youth.

Ramiris is the Queen of Spirits that originates from another dimension. However, when she came into this dimension she lost almost all of her power and gained a pseudo-life span. She was the one who helped Milim calm down after her pet died.

Once Ramiris reaches Adulthood she gains her full power making her one of the strongest, after a hundred years in that state she will revert back to a child-like form and will lose her power once more.

In her adult form she is graceful, elegant and smart. But in her child-like form she is bratty and sobby and also very stupid.

Ramiris is not very strong, she may be good at support. But in a one on one, she is incredibly weak and vulnerable when she is not in her adult form.

Detective Ability:

Ramiris is a great detective, having solved many unsolved murders. However, her way of sleuthing is to put it mildly...unconventional.

When she sleuths, she always follows the wrong trail of clues or makes the wrong assumptions or accusations. Yet despite all her mistakes, she always comes out to the correct answer and finds the real culprit.

Ramiris' Sin:

Ramiris fell from grace to become a demon lord, although how she did is still unknown since she refuses to elaborate.
