Laxui Week Day 1: Water Fight
It’s Laxui week bless. D’: Here’s day one from me, set in canon-verse. ;)
Laxui: Water Fight
It was mid-morning when Laxus finally got rid of Bickslow, Freed, and Ever—who for some reason had insisted they come with him. If he had been honest with them, he would have told them there was no job. He was in Crocus for another reason. But he couldn’t tell them the truth… the person he was meeting had insisted that this had to remain between the two of them for now.
“There you are,” she was waiting by the palace gates, her hair tied back in braids, hat firm on her head. His heart skipped a beat upon seeing her again. The last time he had seen her was nearly a month ago at the Grand Magic Games Ball. She had enticed him to dance, and since that moment, looking into her beautiful jade eyes, he hadn’t been able to get her out of his head.
“Sorry I’m late, Princess,” he said, “Had to duck away from some friends. But now I’m all yours.”
The flush that rose in her cheeks at those words made him feel warm. She was beautiful, even in the gray light of a cloudy day. He remembered he dress at the Ball, the way her hair had been pulled back into a neat bun. She had been so happy then. But even more than that, he remembered her face the night they faced the jade dragon. Her ponytail tossing on the wind, her jade eyes full of fire and reflecting the stars above.
“Where are we going today?” Hisui asked, as he offered her his arm.
              “Wherever you’d like,” he smiled.
“I heard of this place in the center of Crocus,” she said, “Where there’s a water fountain that’s bigger than any of the fountains at the palace.”
“Oh yes,” Laxus nodded. “Central Fountain. I know a café there. Is that where you’d like to go?”
“I’d love to see it with you.” Hisui nodded. And so they were off, moving through the streets. Hisui talked about the changes they had made since the games, the preparations for her to become queen… the planning for the ceremony. Laxus told her how everyone in the guild was doing since the games. He found his arm dropping and soon enough she clasped his hand, fingers entwined with his. And for a moment, at the warmth of her hand in his he hesitated. But if felt right, like it belonged there.
They arrived at the square just as the sun was coming out through the clouds. The fountain was enormous, huge, white marble statues of mages spilling water from their hands. They reminded Laxus of Juvia’s magic. He turned to look at his companion to see her eyes wide in awe.
“It’s huge,” she breathed, “and beautiful.” The basin that the water spilled into was wide and deep, perhaps a couple feet, the edge of the fountain decorated with shimmering gold and white mosaic tiles.
“You’ve really never seen it before?” Laxus smiled, squeezing her hand.
“No!” She gasped. “It’s amazing! I’ve not seen much of the city, you know. Come on, lets sit by it, I want to feel the water!”
She pulled him closer to the fountain. He could feel the mist from the cascading water as they sat on the tiles. Hisui dunked her hand in the water, “Ah it’s cold,” she breathed, quickly pulling her hand out and accidentally splashing water up onto Laxus’s pants. “Sorry!” She said.
              “It’s alright,” Laxus laughed.
“There are lots of coins,” Hisui frowned.
“People make wishes,” Laxus said, “And toss a coin in so their wishes come true.”
              “Oh…” her face fell.
“Here….” Laxus pulled out his wallet and slipped a coin into her hand. “You have to stand up and toss it over your shoulder.”
              “What?” Hisui laughed.
“If you don’t, your wish won’t come true.” Laxus shrugged.
Hisui clutched the coin in her hand and then nodded, taking in a deep breath and standing with her back to the fountain. Laxus grinned. She was open. He ducked his hand into the water, and cupped water in his hand and tossed it up towards her back, splashing her with the cold fountain water.
She froze, her shoulders rigid, and turned slowly, green eyes wide. “You didn’t…” she blinked.
              He laughed, “I got you.”
“You!” She grinned diving towards the water and splashing him as hard as she could.
“Tch,” Laxus splashed her again, this time drenching her completely. She gasped, shuddering under the cold water, and then dove towards him. Before he knew it they were both falling backwards into the water behind them with an enormous splash. Laxus sat up, water dripping from his hair, Hisui soaking wet on top of him in the water. She was laughing, her smile contagious.
“Alright, you got me good, Princess,” Laxus laughed. She reached up to cup his cheek, her hand shaking. She was cold, her lips already turning blue, but she leaned in and kissed him softly. He blinked and then pulled her closer in the water by her waist, kissing her again as she pulled away.
She was shivering. “I should take you home,” he whispered, “So you can get dry.”
“Yeah,” she laughed, “I’m sorry, I ruined our date.”
Date… “No, you didn’t,” he smiled, “You made it perfect. And… would you like to go out again… tomorrow?”
She blinked, and then dove forward to kiss him again. He cupped her cheek and let out a sigh against her lips, pulling away once to press a kiss to the corner of her mouth. “I don’t want you to get sick.”
She nodded, climbing to her feet, dripping, and helped him up. “Thank you for today, even if it was short.”
“We’ll resume tomorrow,” he smiled, taking her hand.
The excitement in her eyes, despite being cold and wet, made him feel warm. She squeezed his hand, “Yes! I’m looking forward to it!”

I'M HERE
Author's note: Time to kick off Laxui week with the first Bonus day. I went with the prompt: One comforting the other. I hope you like it. I love this pairing so much.
Hisui whimpers in her sleep. She tosses and turns. Her sleep has been fitful ever since those assassins came for her. Laxus wakes up due to the movement and looks over at his wife. His face shows concern when he sees tears streaking down her face as she keeps whimpering. Suddenly, she shoots up and screams. "NOOO!" She then slumps over and sobs.
Laxus immediately wraps his arms around her and holds her close. "Hey 'Sui, it's okay. I'm here now. You're safe." He tells her gently wiping her tears away tenderly. "I keep seeing their faces and seeing them hurt my family. My brother and dad were so injured. I was so scared." She sobs. She leans against his chest soaking his shirt with her tears.
He rubs her back softly and murmurs more reassurances.  He kisses the top of her head and hold her close till she has calmed down.
"Remember this 'Sui, you are safe now. I won't let anyone hurt you and we dealt with the ones after you. Besides Wendy, Chelia, and Porlyusica are the best healers in Fiore. Your family will be just fine. They just need rest. So don't worry so much, Shortcake." Laxus tells her. She nods, still sniffling.
He rests his forehead against hers. "You have no need to worry when I'm here and I dont plan going away anytime soon. You and Yuri are my life." He leans down and kisses her. She hums softly and melts into the kiss. Laxus always knows just how to make her feel so much better.
She smiles at him when he breaks the kiss. She just hopes she is a comfort to him like he is for her. They stay in each others arms for a bit and Hisui just soaks up the warmth and safety she feels around him. Laxus drifts off and Hisui is not far behind.
The next day, they go about their duties as Queen Hisui and Sir Laxus, the Captain of the Royal guard and personal guard of the Queen. After all her meetings she goes to check on Yuri and spend sometime with her 2 year old son. Laxus goes to the lessons he has been attending to one day be the perfect King to help his Queen.
This isn't what Laxus thought his life would be like but when he looks at Hisui and Yuri, he knows it is the perfect place for him. He thinks back to the many times his wife helped him out like he did for her last night.
The most recent time was this last year.
He had been sleeping fitfully knowing Ivan was free.
He woke up in a cold sweat and she was right there to hug him and rub his back soothingly. "Its okay, Laxus. He can't hurt you here. If he even tried the guards would catch him and then there is the guild and your Thunder legion here." She said softly. Her touch and words helped him calm down.
He holds so much guilt over the things he did cause his father ordered it. He is so lucky to have had Makarov there to make up for his Father's evil ways. If he hadn't had Makarov and the guild then he wouldn't have his life now. A life he wouldn't trade for the world.
After his lessons, he and his wife go to check on her Family.  Wendy greets them outside the infirmary. "Hello, they are fine. I just checked on them. They will be fully recovered in a week if they continue to rest. I just gave them some medicine so they are asleep." She tells them with a relieved smile.
Hisui goes ahead and looks in the room to see them sleeping. They already look much better, Wendy had gotten most of the cuts and bruises and was able to diminish the larger wounds.
They then head downstairs with Wendy, who is holding a giggling Yuri. They join the others heading to the banquet hall. The whole guild is here for the GMG and they had helped catch the assassins. Laxus and Hisui were so grateful to the guild. They had planned a feast for them, but also after her brother and father recover a ball will be held.
Now, we all know that when Fairy Tail parties, they party hard. Hisui leaves in the middle of all the chaos to put Yuri to bed. Laxus leaves shortly after but not after seeing that the guards had stopped most of the drunken brawls. Once most of the troublemakers pass out Laxus goes to his room.
Hisui is leaving the bathroom looking like she just finished her nightly routine before bed. Laxus hurries and does the same. They both collapse into bed and curl up together. It had been a long day and they both were exhausted . Hisui looks up at him and smiles. "I love you, Laxus Dreyar." She says while kissing his cheek. "I love you too, Hisui Dreyar." He replies kissing her sweetly. She melts into the kiss content to just be with him. They settle down and fall asleep in each others arms, basking in the comfort they found in each other.

Laxui Week Day Six
Okay this one actually I really like, and I had fun writing! <3
Prompts: Music / First Kiss
Laxui: Festival
It had been a long week, one failure after another. One job had been canceled, another had the wrong address listed on the flier, and the last she had failed big time. With each failure, Hisui wondered if she had made the right decision. It was a tough life, joining a wizard guild like Fairy Tail. She had known that before she even set out to join. She had pondered the decision over several weeks. She had thought about her reasons for joining, the search for adventure, the desire to see the world. She had wanted to be absolutely sure, without a doubt, that she wasn’t joining for something else… or… someone else.
Now she lay in the grass by the river, staring up at the clouds passing by. “Maybe I’m not cut out for this.” She said. She had been raised in a palace, with maids and butlers, bodyguards and tutors. Maybe she had been too soft all her life and she wasn’t ready to set out on her own.
“What was that?” Someone said, and she looked up to see Laxus Dreyar standing over her. He looked only mildly interested, brow furrowed.
“I was just talking to myself,” she whispered, staring up at him from where she lay, her cheeks flushing. She blamed the warmth of the sun, but she knew—deep down—it was the way his orange eyes studied her from where he stood. He moved and sat next to her on the grass. It was rare to see him without his three closest friends: Freed, Evergreen, and Bickslow. The last time she had seen him without them… well… it must have been when they first met: at the Grand Magic Games Ball. “You’ve got guts,” he had said, “So… I guess this is thanks… for savin’ my life.”
You’ve got guts… She didn’t feel like it now. “Where are your friends?” She asked him.
“Getting ready for the festival,” he replied, leaning back, just a little, staring up at the passing clouds. That’s right, the festival. Laxus glanced over at her, “What were ya talkin’ to yourself about?”
“My, aren’t you curious today,” Hisui huffed, “Are you quite sure you’re interested in the affairs of a former crown princess?”
His cheeks flared with a blush, and he smirked, “Did ya already forget? I’ve been interested in you since the grand magic games.” Hisui blinked, trying not to look him in his mesmerizing eyes. She could drown in those orange eyes. She stared up at the sky, watching a cloud drift by.
“That was eight months ago,” she murmured, “I thought…”
“You know I would never forget,” he said, offering her a warm smile. They fell into a comfortable silence for a few moments.
“Are you going to the festival, Laxus?” she asked.
“I haven’t thought much about it,” he replied.
              “Is there dancing?”
“Yeah,” he nodded, “If you’re into that kinda thing I suppose.”
“You don’t like dancing?” Hisui asked, “I thought you enjoyed music.”
“Liking music and liking dancing are two different things,” he said with a chuckle.
“Come on! You danced with me at the Grand Magic Games ball!” Hisui gasped, and then paused, holding out her hand, “Would you dance again if I asked?” Orange eyes fell on her outstretched hand and then glanced up and met her jade gaze. He took her hand and she pulled him to his feet with a laugh. “May I have this dance, Laxus Dreyar?”
“Since it’s you askin’,” he said, and he pulled her close, hand on her hip. She remembered the ball, eight months ago, the way he had laughed at her teasing. And then once more at her admiration. “You have incredible magical prowess. You are the strongest mage I know.” And he had retorted with, “I’m not the strongest by a long shot.”
That night had been like a fairytale, seeing the city with Laxus Dreyar, feeling more free than she ever had. It had been the beginning of a change in her—the awakening of the desire for adventure and exploration in her heart. I want to join a wizard guild. Now, here she was, gold guild mark on her shoulder, hand-in-hand with the man who had started it all. She laughed as he spun her and then pulled her back into his embrace to the imaginary music.
“Laxus,” she said, breathless, as their dance slowed to a stop, hair a mess. He was still laughing, holding her hand tight.
              “Yeah?” He asked.
“If I were to ask you to the festival… as a date…”
He stared down at her, smile slipping away to seriousness. “You’re… askin’ me out?”
“W-well…” she flushed under his gaze, “Th-that is… Yes?”
He cupped her cheek, brushing his thumb across her blush, and then closed the distance between them to kiss her. Her heart skipped a beat, and then she grasped his purple dress shirt, pulling him closer, closing her eyes and leaning up on her tiptoes. When he pulled away he rested his forehead against hers, breathless again, “I shoulda kissed you months ago,” he murmured, letting out a soft chuckle.
“Is that a yes?” she giggled, their noses brushing.
“Yeah,” he smirked, “I’ll go to the festival with you, shortcake. As long as ya promise me another dance.”
“I’ll dance with you whenever you’d like,” she murmured, closing the distance to kiss him again.

Laxui Week Day 5
Ugh, I love them. They’re so cute. This week has been a blessing.
Laxui: Surprise
“I have a surprise for you.” She had texted him, early that morning.
“Oh yeah?” It had been only a month since their first escapade—the day they had first met. They had been texting since. Hisui had started the conversation—saying that she hoped she wasn’t bothering him. What she didn’t know was that it was impossible for her to do so. She could never bother him. He was glad she had reached out, though he didn’t dare mention that to his friends at the station.
Now, she had asked him to pick her up the next afternoon, by the West fence along the palace gardens. So he pulled the patrol car along the curb there, putting the vehicle into park. No one was waiting. It was quiet spring day, cherry blossoms in the air. Was Princess Hisui really late? She had seemed… well, he couldn’t say proper—because on the day they first spoke she was doing the exact opposite of proper.
He laughed at the memory of finding her in the diner, glasses on—her pretty jade hair tied into braids. He had thought, upon talking with her, that she would finally be the case that would drive him insane. And… she did drive him insane, just… in a way he hadn’t been expecting. The sound of heels on the sidewalk drew Laxus back to reality and he glanced out the window as Hisui dashed towards the car and slipped into the passenger seat before he even had time to greet her.
“I believe I lost Arcadios!” She said, out of breath, “But you should drive quickly! He might be just around the corner.” He revved the car and spun back out onto the street as Hisui clicked on her seatbelt, laughing. Her laugh was contagious and Laxus found himself smiling.
“Where are we headed?” He asked.
Hisui offered him a wink, and his heart skipped a beat. “We’re going to West Square!”
They had to park a block from the square, but they walked hand-in-hand together down the sidewalk. “You’re not telling me anything, are you?” Laxus huffed. Hisui offered him a dazzling smile.
              “It’s a surprise! Didn’t I tell you that already?”
              “Yeah, ya did,” he groaned.
“It’s my turn to treat you. Since last time I was out of the palace you were the one treating me!”
Laxus blinked, and then his orange eyes widened. “You’re taking me out?”
“I thought I implied that I was,” Hisui said, “Now come on! I think I know what we’re looking for.” She pulled him into the West Square, which was bustling with people. The center of the West Square held a small fountain. All along the border were dozens of little shops. She glanced around as if looking for something specific, and then pulled him straight towards a little café on the corner, hand holding tight to his. Laxus had seen and heard of this café before. It was famous for its chocolatey sweets, and he knew that Princess Hisui couldn’t resist chocolate. He chuckled to himself, glad he remembered to bring his wallet.
She pulled him into the store and right up to the display. “Pick anything you want!” She said.
“That’s alright,” he protested, “I don’t need anything, you can pick something—”
“I’m treating you, didn’t I say that?” Hisui insisted. “Pick anything you’d like.” And as she spoke she pulled out a little wallet. Laxus blinked, and then grinned.
“If you’re paying then, I guess I’ll take the king size, double chocolate cupcake.”
“Good choice.” Hisui nodded, expression perfectly serious. She paid for their treats, and they sat across from each other in a little corner booth. Laxus smiled, taking a bite out of his enormous cupcake, watching Hisui sip on her hot chocolate, whipped cream dotting her nose.
“You’re beautiful,” he murmured, and she blinked, jade eyes meeting his orange.
“W-what?” She flushed, glancing down at her hot chocolate.
“You’re beautiful,” he repeated, and closed the distance between them across the table to steal a kiss. The taste of whipped cream and chocolate on her lips was sweet against the dark double chocolate on his own. She tilted her head, cupping his cheek and drawing him closer, yearning for more than just a taste. Another kiss, and then another, pulling at her bottom lip gently as he parted from her, sitting back in his seat dazed. How could he focus on dessert now?
Hisui was bright red in the face, jade eyes wide as she clutched her mug of hot chocolate. “I guess… we were both surprised today then,” she murmured, and the giggled, her flush deepening. After they finished dessert, he walked her back to the patrol car, but she paused reaching out to take his hand.
“What’s wrong?” he frowned, “Is everything alright?”
“Everything’s just fine,” she said softly, glancing to the side sheepishly. “I was just hoping that… maybe I could kiss you again?”
Laxus grinned, leaning closer to her, “You don’t ever have to ask, Princess.”
She flushed, and then smirked, throwing an arm around his neck and closing the distance between them with another passionate kiss.

Laxui Week Day 2
Day two of my favorite week? bless.
Laxui: Breakfast in Bed
Hisui blinked awake. It was late. Later than she usually slept. She could tell by the way the sun filtered through the curtains of her room. And yet she felt like she had hardly gotten any sleep at all. She pressed a hand to her baby bump. She was almost due, and she felt absolutely enormous. It was late summer and so of course she was always hot. When are you going to come, baby? She was excited for motherhood. Nervous, but excited. So many nights, when she couldn’t sleep because baby was kicking her in the ribs, she curled up in her husband’s arms and imagined what their baby might look like. Maybe they would have her green eyes, and Laxus’s fair hair. His willfulness. Her determination. She laughed, thinking about it. Maybe that was a deadly combination.
Now, as she slowly woke, she reached for Laxus’s side of the bed to find it uncharacteristically empty. Laxus was usually a late sleeper. Hmm… So where had he gone off to?
She wasn’t quite ready to leave bed—exhausted from lack of sleep. Baby was beginning to kick again, the flutter against her middle. “I know,” she murmured, “You’re just full of energy.” She frowned. “Maybe I should get up and find your daddy.”
Just as she said those words the door swung open, and Laxus stepped in. A smile touched his lips as his orange eyes met her jade. “Oh, good! You’re awake.” He held a tray in his hands.
“What’s this?” Hisui blinked, struggling to sit up a little, with her pillow behind her back.
“I made breakfast,” Laxus smirked, crossing the room.
She let out a breathless laugh. “What’s the occasion?”
“Do I really need an occasion to treat the mother of my child?” He asked, gently pressing a kiss to her cheek as he set the tray on her lap. Eggs and Bacon and Toast. A glass of orange juice, and a vase with one sunflower.
“Thank you,” she whispered, “It looks amazing.” She took a bite of the eggs and glanced up at him with a bright smile. “It is amazing.” Then she frowned as Laxus rounded the bed and sat down on his side. “Did you eat?”
“Nah, too busy cooking,” he smiled.
“Here!” She held out her fork. “Have some. There’s no way I can eat all this!” He hesitated and then took the bite, humming in appreciation.
“Reminds me of our honeymoon,” he smirked.
Hisui felt her cheeks flush. She got warm just thinking about those days together. Breakfast in bed was a regular occurrence. “Tch. That’s probably why I’m like this now.” She gestured to her baby bump.
“You know I’m not complaining, princess,” he murmured, cupping her cheek and turning her head so he could look her in the eyes. “You’re beautiful. Like always.”
She flushed again, closing the distance to kiss him.
“Finish your breakfast,” he murmured against her lips, “Or it’ll get cold.”
She laughed, “You always make me too much food, bear.”
“What? Too much. Nonsense. You’re eating for two. And you know as well as I do that Dreyar boys eat a lot.”
“Laxus Dreyar,” she said after swallowing a bite of toast. “What makes u think we’re having a son?”
He smirked, “Everyone knows the Dreyar firstborns have always been boys.”
“Mmhmm…” Hisui laughed. “We’ll see about that. Personally, I’m rooting for a little princess.”
“Hmm…” Laxus mused, “Now that you say it that way, I suppose a daughter might be nice. She would be sweet and beautiful like her mother.”
“Hmm… I don’t know, she might inherit something from her father—like his stubbornness.”
“Is that really the only thing you can think of when you think of traits I could pass on to our children?”
“What can I say?” she said, “You are stubborn.”
“Well whatever they end up like,” he murmured, “I’m excited for this adventure with you. Never really thought of myself being a father, but…”
“You’ll be an amazing father, Laxus,” Hisui smiled, taking a sip of her orange juice.
“Mavis, woman,” he breathed, “I love you.” He pressed another kiss to her lips, and grinned. “Orange juice.” She laughed.
“Help me finish this breakfast, my heart.”
              “As you wish.”
