Something that I am actually passionate about is ESports players creating a players union.

These kids get picked up by teams and leagues right when they turn 18. They got no idea what they are actually worth, and sign a contract with fucking convoluted language that lawyers go to school for YEARS to be able to decipher. Get stuck their first few years adult life with a coach or a team that may or may not treat them right. A players union would ensure that these players would be taken care of, so that they can have a life, that they can rest, that they get compensated properly.

Do they have them? Well, there is one players union for csgo now. I'm so proud of them. I hope more players get on board with a union, I don't like it when people get taken advantage of in gaming.

Yagami would later be introduced to Ryuzo Genda, who paid for his education and supported him as he went through law school, and offered him a part-time job at the Genda Law Office. Yagami spent his first paycheck on buying a coffee maker for Matsugane.

Mafuyu Fuji:

During Yagami’s solicitor days it was implied (in a flashback) that he had some a sort of unofficial relationship with Mafuyu but soon abruptly “ended” after shortly quitting when his client got acquitted

Despite the “break up” three years later, after becoming a detective, Yagami can either choose to be indifferent, but friendly, towards her or he could state that she was more like a sister to him (optional)

Masaharu Kaito:

During his teenage years, Yagami would get into alleyway fights with Masaharu Kaito, a member of the Matsugane Family. Eventually, the fights would catch the attention of its patriarch Mitsugu Matsugane, who saw himself in Yagami and raised him as a son.

<> After being harassed by her aggressor and stalker, Takada, did Yagami stepped in to help Nanami out who immediately quickly pretended that he was her "boyfriend" and soon after the situation had been resolved they exchanged numbers

<> Shortly thereafter Yagami had gotten a text from Nanami saying that she was kidnapped by Takada and was held in a black van (and gives him several other details) before her smart watch had died; leaving Yagami to search for her whereabouts.

<> He finds the van outside of the ramen shop but accidentally sets the alarm off after picking the lock on the trunk; tipping Takada off to rescue the mission

<> After the ensuring fight, Takada is arrested, Nanami clutches onto Yagami, who comforts her. She tells him that she'll pay him back for everything he's done for her, leading to her asking Yagami out on a "date.”

Part 2:

<> After a couple attempts of asking Nanami on a date (and after being blown off many times over her work) Yagami goes to Yukiko as a last resort to win the former’s heart; which would had to involve a snippet of pretence to get them closer

<> After Namani found out about Yagami’s “deceitful” motives — like he had a choice because she refused to do anything else — she had gotten very angry (and hurt) with him for doing what he did.

Marcy is an Epic Competitive Gamer best known for being the world's best Vagabondia Versus player, an older but still technically live service 1 on 1 pvp game. She's sponsored by Calamity eSports and streams, but rarely and without voice, but she's still pretty popular just for her gameplay that's several cuts above anyone else you could be watching.

When Vagabondia United, the next entry into the online versus Vagabondia games is announced, Marcy's fan base is excited to see her dominate ANOTHER game; and Marcy's happy to oblige them... Until she learns it's a 3v3 game. 

Marcy isn't known for making friends in the community. She doesn't make tutorials, she hasn't done a collab for a decade, her organization has no other competitive VBV players signed because *why would they when they already signed the best*?

So the announcement passes and Marcy remains stoic about what her plans for VBU are because she doesn't have any... Until she gets an email from the eccentric owner of Calamity saying they've found some teammates for her to play with. She immediately writes back that she's not interested, and the owner responds that they aren't interested in using Marcy's contract to force her to play BUT they will be using it to at least force her to meet her potential teammates. Grumbling about lawyers, Marcy gets ready to meet the two idiots that Cal wants her to play with.

Frannie is a household name in the VTuber scene and has been for a couple years now. Of course, Anne Boonchuy isn't nearly as famous a name, even though they're one and the same. Rising to stardom in the VRenaissance, the duality of Frannie's positive attitude while playing rage inducing online games paired with her vicious temper when she did rarely get mad or, as happened more often, when someone fired the first shot at another member of her team, put her in a difficult to find and extremely popular niche.

But Anne wanted to keep her anonymity, which got harder and harder to do as she got more and more popular. She'd deleted all her oldest collabs, before she had adopted the Frannie avatar, to keep her friends (some of whom were her IRL friends rather than online ones) protected from the horde of her fanbase, the size of which frankly terrifies her, as thankful as she might be for them too.
