Major Right-Wing Groups Form Plan to Imprison LGBTQ People, Censor the Internet (& More) in 2025 The Heritage Foundation and other right-wing organizations have formulated "Project 2025," a plan for the first 180 days of the next Republican administration. The plan aims to dismantle the administrative state and enact nationwide internet censorship. It also aims to politically imprison LGBTQ+ people and expand the power of the executive branch. The plan is backed by 50 different conservative organizations, making it hard for any Republican president to ignore. The first order of business is to expand the power of the presidency to lay the groundwork for unconstitutional policies. The plan aims to rule by fiat under the "unitary executive theory," giving the president control over the entire Federal Executive Branch. Schedule F would be implemented, allowing the president to fire any federal employee with policy-making authority. This would lead to the president directly managing the Department of Justice and FBI cases. Environmental laws would be gutted, and states would be prevented from enforcing their own environmental laws. The EPA would be shifted away from focusing on climate change. The plan aims to remove federal employees perceived as obstacles to the president's agenda. First you have to ask yourself - what kind of country do we want to be? We have a National Guard; do we need the police to be a similar militaristic organization or not? I say “not”. What we need is more “serve and protect”, and there are countless ways to do that which don’t require military equipment.

Make them give it back. It's not like police are preventing mass shootings or reducing crime by being heavily armed. This program is just wasting money and endangering average citizens. The last four years were as tumultuous as any in my lifetime, and we didn't need combat troops in the streets of any city, even once. He'll, if the Capital Police had done their jobs and manned up appropriately, the Capital Insurrection wouldn't have even happened.
