I firmly believe that Vere is one of those monarchies where the reigning dynasty has very long names, so Laurent could very well be Laurent Maximiliam-Clément Lucius Theodore Octavian Rochefort or whatever.

And when Damen, who would probably already be aware of this fact since he studied to be a king, asked Laurent his name, he would respond already aware of what was to come: Damen teasing him for each of his names.

I think college au lamen would be so funny if they were roommates and they absolutely can’t stand each other at first even though they secretly want to bang so bad. Till they hook up at a frat part. Neither of them are drunk but both of them act drunk. They try and pretend they were too drunk to remember what happened but they slowly start inching their way to being friends. Till another part where they are both actually drunk and confess to each other to not being drunk the previous time. And Damen is crying on the stairs with his face smooshed between the banister about how he knows laurent hates him but he likes Laurent’s smile so much and it’s just not fair. And laurent is petting his hair, all of it taking a half hour for it to sink in for both of them. After that they don’t even talk about it they just are together in the most committed loving relationship anyone has ever seen

I was a little frustrated that I couldn't get the polish captive prince special editions 😔 (And the new US covers weren’t out yet, but I will definetly get those now!!)

So I went: 'Fine. I'll do it myself."

I don't know what got into me, but I started to add more and more to this and it ended up taking me 60 hrs 💀

Still not satisfied with everything (especially the font and frame) but it's ok, maybe I'll come back to that a little later ✨️
