Anime Recommendations

hello!!! im back with an anime recommendation list rather than my usual long anime review + recommendation post. the animes that i will be talking about below mostly has male main characters and are either action + comedy and comedy + slice of life vibe. recently, i’ve been enjoying those kind of genres lately, so enjoy!  -belle note: all public hate will be ignored, fite me in private m8.

Bongou Stray Dogs s1+s2. if you’re a fan of action and comedy then this one is for you. Atsushi was kicked out of his orphanage and while thinking about his so little life choices by the river he ‘saves’ Dazai, a suicide enthusiast, from his suicide attempt (?). The story goes on and Atsushi was invited to this ability detective agency. This anime really fits my tastes and I was a bit hesitant watching the first episode whether I would continue but I glad I did. The characters names and ability are all based on Japanese and International authors and book titles. Also, unpopular opinion, lots of people would go for Dazai but really, Rampo-san is the best.

Kekkai Sensen/ Blood Blockade Battlefront. also action plus kinda comedy, kinda drama? The world’s population is mixed with more monsters than humans and Leonardo went to Hellsalem’s lot for some reason, claims that he’s a journalist or something. In the other hand, he posses the All Seeing Eyes of God and after seeing him in action by the Libra Organization, he was asked to join them as a member. This anime is so good, the soundtrack is good, the art is good. I’d give it an 8 out of 10.

Owari no Seraph/ Seraph of the End s1+s2. If you got a thing for vampires, action, kind of school vibe, stubborn main male character along with quarrels. Earth was infected by a virus which killed most of the adults and children was took in by the vampires to use them as livestock. Yuichiro Hyakuya was an orphan who tries to escape the vampire city with his ‘family’, he escapes successfully but in return, his family dies along the way. As soon he left the Vampire city, he was greeted by adults, it seems so that there was still humans alive and they made an organization to kill all vampires and let humanity rise again. Yu is determined to become a vampire exterminator to avenge his family. So this anime has a lot of flashbacks from their pasts an it doesn’t only focuses on Yu but also to his teammates. Action is great, Art is great, I cringe a bit in some scenes but that’s who I am as a person anyway. Both seasons are great, also I read the manga and mate, it’s good. HELLA RECOMMENDED.

Masamune-kun no Revenge. Masamune-kun used to be fat and does his highschool debut as a handsome popular student and all his efforts is for revenge. His first love rejects him because he was fat and he enrolls in the same high school as she is in, all for the sake of revenge. Genre? Comedy, Romance, Harem (?). HERE’S THE THING, I cringed at most of the scenes but I gotta say, this anime was kinda worth the watch, I’m continuing it in the manga right now but this anime was funny and the art was great, the soundtrack also appeals to me, so i’d give it a 7/10. 

Amagi Brilliant Park. Seiya Kanie was asked by his classmate, Isuzu Sento to go on a date with her to an amusement park called Amagi Brilliant Park, which is on the verge of closing. Unbeknownst to him, the amusement park’s workers are actually staffed by creatures by from the magical realm, Maple Land. To save the park from closing, Seiya is hired by the owner, Latifah Fleuranza, the princess of Maple Land, to become its new manager and use his skills in entertainment to save it. However, they have only three months to attract 250,000 visitors, a feat that seems impossible given the park's current situation. I’d say the genre is comedy and slice of life. It doesn’t really fit in the romance category, and this anime was really enjoyable. I adore Seiya’s determination to save the park and the stories of those who work there are absolutely cute and so. 9/10, would re-watch again.
