             SHE APPEARS TO BE A combination between a mouse and a bunny, perhaps with a cat thrown into the mix — she’s an animal of sorts, that’s for sure. saskia isn’t one for parties yet had been dragged by her so-called best friend, only to be ditched at the nearest opportunity that arose infused by alcohol. she’s leant against a wall ( a wallflower, quite literally ) as she observes her surroundings through pursed lips and curious eyes; people watching was an intrigue, a way to pass time simultaneous to her bored interest. chocolate hues scan the room and meet the statures of two bodies intertwined, making out in undecipherable costumes, next to a guy in a banana suit squished into the corner of the room and nodding his head out of beat to the surrounding music. another girl sits alone, a reflection of herself, and for a moment saskia thinks, ‘hey, it’s not just me’, and then she’s joined by a friend with two drinks in hand. the brunette nurses her second, scrunching her nose at the taste of spiked orange punch as she wonders why she’d even bothered attending; to be left here, unaccompanied and blending in agonisingly well, much to her displeasure. not even a horny frat boy would come over and introduce themselves in all her scantily clad glory ( not that she wanted them to, shyer with the opposing sex than she’d care to admit ), but maybe that was due to her visible discomfort in such coquettish outfit choice, that her friend had chosen, of course. it’s then that her eyes fall upon a singular figure, sat alone on the couch with an expression alike to her own; disinterested and unaccompanied. he was cute, in an approachable way — and she was sad, alone and had been recently dumped ( not just by her best friend ). her ex was somewhere at this party, undoubtedly so, and for her to even be seen conversing with another guy regardless of how well it went, would hopefully emit some sort of reaction. it might be the barely there buzz of alcohol ( she was a lightweight, but had barely drank on this particular occasion ) that moves her legs involuntarily toward him, and she slumps down beside him. “hey, hot stuff — what are you meant to be?” saskia gestures to his costume, dumbfounded toward his attire; cursing herself for opening with the line that she did. who even SAID hot stuff nowadays? who EVER did? the girl rubs at her temples out of sight, uttering “nice one, sas,” beneath her breath. “let me start over. you looked alone and i was too, so —... hey.”

it’s christmas time ! yay ! to me, christmas is about spending time with the ones you love. and you know what ? i can honestly say that i love a bunch of you. which is why i couldn’t let the holiday season pass by without doing a lil somethin’ somethin’ on this blog. my activity has been a mess for awhile now, as my life is chaotic and busy and - finally, after a number of years where i thought i’d never get to this point - good. i wish i had more time to interact with you all, since i miss you guys more than words can possibly express. but just know i’m thriving. and know that when i have a free moment, i’ll be popping on here with the usual trash content you’ve come to expect, know and - dare i say ? - love. 

AND WHEN IT GETS COLD I’LL BE YOURS.

i don’t think i have the words to verbalize how much i value your friendship. just... everything. always. putting up with me and my tswizzle love, my cougar ways towards khalid, my inability to be healthy, just... all of it. any random thought that pops into my head is usually sent your way, and you haven’t blocked me yet. i don’t know why. but it’s awesome. and so are you. my kween. in a totally platonic way.

“you know, this might not be our best idea,” abi mumbles as she’s lugging her sleeping bag up the large steps of the abandoned prison. she’d been talked into spending a night at one of the most supposedly haunted prisons in their state--- and now that they were here, she was definitely starting to regret it. “how many times have i told you not to ask me shit when i’m stoned out of my mind? i mean, i’m not about to leave you here all alone but... we’re not shane and ryan and we don’t even have any ghost hunting equipment. i’m not really sure what you’re hoping we find here.”

where to begin..,, tbh when we began speaking to plot some bits i was v intimidated by u because u were so damn funny. like sooo fuckin funny. i fr felt like such a loser because everything u said was so dry and witty that i couldn’t even think of a worthy response other than to laugh??? i’m being srs when i say that first convo made my day. ur honestly an angel. ur hilarious and talented and sooo sweet, a great writer with even greater muses, all of which are so different and interesting. u are lovely and our threads are even lovelier. u are just… wonderful. thanks for coming to my ted talk
