Now that we saw his dad, Lazslo’s relationship with fatherhood is so interesting, he’s been using the monster as a sort of surrogate son and it’s only made more complicated since he has Colin, the person he actually raised next to him and he doesn’t even remember him as a father. He’s putting all of this expectations on the monster aid he was raising a son and it’s devastating

Thank God it's over!

At last, the fandom can have sole child custody of the show.

If nandermo had been canon I was ready to say something like- they've been edging us for six years and it paid off!! Or- slowest burn ever, but they didn't.

Mah, nothing really changed, pretty uneventful for a finale.

I laughed at the maga joke because it was so absurd and unexpected, but considering the political climate of the US right now? Meh.

No tied ends, no resolved plotlines, I trust the fandom will put all the potential to a good use!

Glad we got another good episode! PI Undercover and Laszlo's father might actually be the 2 genuinely good episodes this season but they sure do slap.

On an unrelated note, this might be the first time we've seen Nadja and Colin actually bond the entire show. They did it well though! I'm here for it!

Laszlo was so fucking done with everything this last episode (he said fuck it like three times), but his father came back so I get it

There's definitely bits in season one where it just doesn't land like it should which is fine cause season one is truly the most shallow of them all. After that though it does read like "this is my husband who I love very much, and this is my somewhat boyfriend who I only see like two weeks out of a century cause he keeps getting beheaded,".

I'm also really glad Laz never reads as jealous in this situation it's very much "my wife's boyfriend makes her sad sometimes, I should stab him about it," which I mean valid, I'd stab a man for Nadja too bud.

I do think one of the best interactions they have in this light is anything about the Baron because they are both so giddy about it and happy for each other lmao.

i do love that nadja and laszlo have such a healthy open marriage now but in season one it really did feel like they were cheating on each other and i wonder if the writers realized how shitty it was a changed gears

Its so freaking funny and sweet how when derek was gonna bite Guillermo, guillermo was like ‘yea nandor does all these nice things for me’ with a smile and cutesy way and looked at the camera and just stood there in silence expecting a long montage of nandor doing nice and sweet things for him to be edited, like idk if hes romanticizing nandor or he genuinely thinks Nandor has done so MANY good things for him to warrant like just standing there for some time, but the editors and crew did him dirty and continued to freaking show us in the next shot guillermo and derek just awkwardly standing there.
