Some ideas are just better in my head...

I think this was one of them, even though I still like the end result. I was basically watching some Brave Wilderness videos my boyfriend shared with me featuring some fuzzy caterpillars. Some moments later, my brain got the bright idea of putting trees on them.

[caterpillar of trees] is both the inverse and the spiritual successor of [the leaves leave] (both 1 and 2). Tiny trees grow out of it (and whether or not this relationship is symbiotic or parasitic is left ambiguous.) While the leaves leave was more about birds being disguised as a tree's leaves.

But near the end of completing the drawing I thought, 'Huh. This might not really look like a caterpillar at all.' And then my solution was to draw a face on it.
