Sometimes I think to myself "actually maybe I'm exaggerating the terror I felt from being stalked", but then I remember that the person in question followed me and waited for me outside my school every day, tracked me down on every website I'd spent even the slightest time on, left physical letters in my mailbox, sent creepy as hell novel length messages on a near daily basis on FB. And then when I was living abroad and I answered the phone I told the caller to text me cause I couldn't hear, after which I had to read "I was saying that you would probably be VERY scared if you knew who's calling... hehe" with my own damn fucking eyes...

And then I'm like yknow what nevermind!!!! the fact that I'm still terrified of being perceived and seen in public not just IRL but also FFXIV might be understandable actually!!!

#im not saying its what caused my psychotic breakdown cause there were many factors #but needless to say it played a HUGE part especially surrounding the debilitating paranoia i was left with for years #i should mention that i only learned LAST YEAR that this person supposedly gave up according to them #by an old mutual classmate (the only one im still in contact with sadly because this person destroyed all the connections i held dear)#(we were classmates for years and this fucked me up cause we were friends for years before it all went down)#but yeah so last year they gave up apparently and it started 2012.#id managed to evade their notice online since 2019 when they last contacted me on facebook and i assumed id simply shook them off #given the habits i developed as a result of it that still affect me in ways i hate #but yeah its only been about a year of feeling relatively safe for the first time since 2012... and even then only relatively #cause i have no idea how permanent that is. and i dont dare to fully relax knowing what the person is capable of in terms of violence #hysterically tumblr is one of the very places online where they never found me it seems #but yeah. apparently they can just move on and here i am meanwhile still feeling the effects #such as feeling like im drenched in ice even in fucking *ffxiv* just because someones targeting or emoting at me #even though its never actually a problem! its a normal thing! and yet that brief moment of dread and fear seems to stick #IDK WHY IM RANTING ABOUT THIS I WAS JUST REMINDED AND. AURGH #awful. horrible. hopefully itll be fine forevermore and that ill be able to relax one day #silvi talks

The exact anniversary of it went past without me noticing, but this month marks five years since I last had to go to an ER or urgent care!!! :D

Still don't know what exactly is wrong with me health-wise, but I am doing so much better than I used to be it's a little ridiculous. I was in an urgent care or ER every summer for severe allergic reactions for years, and now I hit that late June/early July mark and don't even notice

#the person behind the yarn #hospital mention #okay this isn't quiiiite true #I did have to go to an urgent care last year or the year before #but that was not for allergies or severe dehydration #that was because I had to get my potassium levels checked and my primary care doctor didn't have the ability to do bloodwork on the weekend #but five years!! oh my gosh five years!!#I had a doctor visit today that basically boiled down to 'something is wrong with you. don't know what though. definitely not RA'#which on the one hand is good news! I do not have an autoimmune disease that will get worse over time!#but on the other hand means I'm back at square one. again.#but oh my gosh FIVE YEARS of no hospital #sometimes it feels like I am making no progress towards a diagnosis #but realizations like this really help. five years! five years. I am getting better #I might have moments where I don't feel well and downward slumps but I have to remember #I am doing so much better healthwise than I was in 2019 even on my worst days now

Today’s installment of “I watch Hayden Christensen’s filmography and tell you how pretty he is in it” is The Last Man (2019)

Hayden plays Kurt Matheson, a veteran suffering from severe PTSD and hallucinations. Increasing gang violence, climate disasters and the sermons of a doomsday street prophet lead Kurt to start preparing for the end of days. He takes a job to pay for his homemade fortress but his mobster boss and the boss’ beautiful daughter threatens to derail Kurt’s survival plans.

How pretty is he in it? When Hayden first appears on screen, his Santa beard and old prospector long johns are a near jumpscare. But once he loses those a half-hour in, he’s about as hot as he’s ever looked.

Welcome to the gun show indeed.

Does he get drenched at some point?: No proper drenching but he does get good and sweaty (and shirtless) a couple times. 2 💦 out of 5

How’s the movie itself? Pretty bad! There’s approximately four half-baked plots at once with no effort to make them cohesive and dialogue & line delivery that makes the Prequels seem Oscar-worthy in comparison. Hayden is just about the only bright spot, he plays unstable characters really well and if I could pluck his character Kurt out of this movie and into a better one I absolutely would. I’ll give this movie some credit for *looking* way better than it had any right to, and Kurt and his love interest Jessica are cute (and their love scene is spicy and definitely the best scene in the movie)

Is the RottenTomatoes rating unfairly low: It’s currently sitting on a big fat 0 but there’s only 5 reviews. The audience score of 24% feels way too high though, I’d say this deserves a 10-15% rating.

In short: The concept is interesting and Hayden along with Harvey Keitel do the most they can with what they get, but they’re not given much. I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone watch this movie but if you must, only do it if you’re in the middle of a Hayden hyperfixation. Otherwise, just go to the love scene about halfway through and after that stick to the gifs.

i just cannot stand the way bendis writes. if 40% of the page is covered in speech bubbles, maybe cut down the fucking dialogue, dear god

#i'm reading losh 2019 (and finishing it this time so help me god) and i think it's so far the worst here #nothing is happening! all they do is talk!#i'm on issue 9 and two. TWO. in-universe days have passed #everything feels like set-up and the pay-off is a battle that lasts for a page and a half #do not read this #stare at a white wall instead it's more fun #i also read some of his superman and ac which are. not just as bad but also not good in that regard #i think the only thing of his i read and liked is ultimate spider-man. tho i can't remember why i didn't finish this #maybe he was getting annoying. maybe i just got distracted #either way brian michael bendis might be my new worst enemy
