What’s the Deal With Casino Rewards and Luxury Casino?
Whenever you look for an online casino in Canada, you always seem to Rai88 stumble upon a Casino Rewards casino. They are literally everywhere. The main reason is they have 17 popular online casinos under their umbrella. But lately it seems like one brand has stood out more than the rest: Luxury Casino.
What makes this casino so popular and why is everyone talking about it? Let’s find out.
Luxury Casino
Luxury Casino is the premium brand within the Casino Rewards network. The casino has been around since 2001 and is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and iGaming Ontario. In other words, this is a secure and regulated online casino. Perfect for Canadians and particularly Ontarians.
Their game selection isn’t too shabby either. Their suite is primarily powered by Microgaming, but they also have games from Sling Shot Studios, Alchemy Gaming, Stormcraft Studios, all41studios, Gameburger Studios, Neon Valley Studios, Pear Fiction Studios, Pulse 8 Studios, Fortune Factory Studios, Switch Studios, and Triple Edge Studios. Their live casino games are from Evolution Gaming.
So when it comes to slots, you’ll find hot titles like Immortal Romance 2, Agent Jane Blonde Max Volume, Fire and Roses Joker, Thunderstruck Stormchaser, Lara Croft: Tomb of the Sun, 9 Masks of Fire, and many many more.
According to Dana Nikolic's Luxury Casino review at eCheckCasinos.ca, "The game library features titles with premium themes and superior graphics, often including exclusive or limited-edition games. For example, the brand offers the official Game of Thrones slot via HBO licensing."
They also have a lot of table games like Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, and even Video Poker and progressive jackpot games.
Bonuses and Promotions
Luxury Casino offers a generous welcome package of $1k spread across the first five deposits. The bonuses are as follows:
First Deposit: 100% match up to $150
Second Deposit: 50% match up to $200
Third Deposit: 25% match up to $300
Fourth Deposit: 50% match up to $200
Fifth Deposit: 100% match up to $150
Just keep in mind that these bonuses come with wagering requirements that must be met before any winnings can be withdrawn.
Loyalty Program
As part of the Casino Rewards network, Luxury Casino participates in a unified loyalty program. That basically means that the more you play, the more loyalty points you earn. And these can later be redeemed across any casino in the network. The VIP program features multiple levels, offering increasingly valuable benefits and exclusive promotions as you advance.
Security and Fair Play
Player security is a top priority at Luxury Casino. The site uses a hardcore SSL encryption to protect your personal and financial information, so a middleman attack won’t leak your info. Moreover, the games are regularly audited by eCOGRA. This is an independent testing agency and one of the most reputable in the industry. So you can be sure the games are fair and fully legit.
Customer Support
Luxury Casino provides 24/7 customer support through live chat and email. To be fully honest, their livechat sucks. It absolutely sucks. You start out by talking to a robot and it takes forever to get connected to a human agent. And when you finally get connected to a human agent, you’ll be slamming your keyboard with your fist. It feels like their human agents aren’t part of the Casino Rewards at all. There is just so much info they don’t have ready at hand. So if there’s anything negative we have to say about this casino, it’s the customer support. It’s actually the only negative thing we could find. We just hope the VIP support is better. Although to be fair, customer support isn’t much better elsewhere with the trend we are seeing now to replace agents with AI bots.

Nevermind, the kids are happy, so I’m happy!
But jeez Luise Gus, you’re not even trying to be subtle about it anymore, huh?
You just know that if Gus wasn’t trying to out/support Hunter, he’d insist on going dressed as a normal human. And when people would ask him about his costume, he’d be like: ”I’m dressed as a completely regular, ordinary, normal human!” and they’d be like ”Whoa dude, that is scary.”
”Funny how things just show up in basements, right? Without you hiding or you putting them there. Life sure is full of surprises!”
And on tonight’s episode of ”Things that can be said by moms with secret nerdy hobbies, or serial killers…”
I guess those Not-Star Trek books really were Camila’s, huh? We got ourselves a closet nerd here!
I kinda get it though. I hate it when people ask me what my hobbies are or what I do on my free time. Because if I answer truthfully and say that I like to write, they’ll inevitably ask what it is I write, and then I’ll have to explain what fanfiction is, and there is just no un-awkward way to explain that to someone who doesn’t know.
Which is why my new tactic is to say ”I guess I like to write stories, like adventure stories. Oh, and I also like to bake!” and hope they focus on the baking part. The downside to that is when they respond with ”Oh, you’re good at baking? You should be on one of those baking shows on TV then!” and I’m like ”No, I didn’t say I was good at it!”
Another tactic is to mention that I have a (this) blog where I talk about cartoons. Most people seem to understand that, even if they don’t ”get it.”
Now, to be fair, they’re probably as interested in hearing me talk about my favorite cartoon as I am hearing them talk about their favorite football teams: not at all.
Speaking of explaining fanfiction though, I do remember in high school, we had this book on literature history. It had a (very) brief blurb on fanfiction with a picture of Lara Croft next to it? For some reason? I recall the teacher skipping over it so we could talk about ancient Greece or something.
I’m sorry, I started rambling there, what was I doing? Right, watching The Owl House, I’m a bit rusty, as you can tell. Let’s get on with it.
Let’s see, we’ve got a Nontendo Swap, what might be either a DVD box set or a VHS tape (ask your parents, kids) called Rage Ron, another VHS tape called… Jen or maybe Den? I think? I’m no good at reading cursive. I can also see that someone let their intrusive thoughts win and took a bite out of a DVD. Which of the kids do you think it was?
Hold up a second… does the bad guy(?) in the movie have a scar over their eye? Like Luz? I also notice Bad Guy(?) wears multi-colored clothes like Luz did at Hexside, and the tip of their staff kinda looks like an egg, like Luz’ palisman currently does. That… feels like it might be significant, especially considering the movie is called ”The Betrayening.”
And on tonight’s edition of ”If The Lampman had just waited a few more seconds…” the show explained it to me.
Villainous Lucy (GET IT?!?) betrayed their friends and now everyone is gone. Villainous Luzy says it was for ”the greater good.”
So, obviously, Luz feels like she let down her friends, betrayed them in a sense, and now everyone in the Demon Realm is lost to them.
The thing that’s interesting to me though is that Villainous Luzy says it was ”for the greater good.” That phrase… doesn’t really describe Luz, I think? I mean yeah, her motivation is to do good and help people and save the world and all that. Certainly, a greater good. But the phrase ”for the greater good” is almost exclusively brought up when someone wants to justify an evil action. You see it in villains all the time. They’re looking at ”the big picture” and find that they can justify atrocities for what is (in their mind at least) a greater end result.
To use one famous example from pop-culture, Ozymandias from Watchmen. His big masterplan would kill millions of people… to bring peace to billions, by preventing the impending nuclear war between the US and the Soviet Union.
My point is (and follow me here, I swear it makes sense), ”for the greater good” is not a phrase I would associate with Luz. But… there is a character that I would associate with that phrase. Someone who has a facial scar, a magic staff with a ball-shape, and betrayed someone close to them.
Philip.
I’m not sure where it’s all going but… Y’all remember that fanfic I wrote after Clouds on the Horizon? All that’s at stake, which you can read HERE. Well, to quote myself:
”I-I hate you,” Luz said slowly, her voice as shaky as her legs. Those words were like poison on her lips. They hurt her more than anyone else. ”We are nothing alike. And I don’t want to be anything like you. Not in any way.”
Hey, kinda random, but I just remembered back in Yesterday’s Lie, I theorized that Vee slept in the bottom bunk and Luz in the top bunk.
WELL. Actually, this doesn’t prove anything, I could still be right. Luz switched to the bottom bunk to be at level with Amity.
I do think it’s weird that Vee is lying on her back. That cannot be comfortable, right? I was even thinking of making another Vee headcanons post, where one of the new headcanons was that sleeping on their backs was uncomfortable for basilisks. I guess this smashes that to pieces.
Tag yourself, I’m Luz. I’ve slept next to walls my entire life, I’m not about to stop now. Also, we both have horrendous sleep schedules. Most of the time I’m fine, but if I get just a little off-centre then I’m out of tune for the next month.

Amazon has ordered a new Tomb Raider TV series to production, and it will be written and produced by Fleabag star and writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who also starred in last year's Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Like Amazon's Fallout series, this Tomb Raider show will premiere exclusively on Prime Video to more than 240 countries and territories around the world.
This series order arrives as part of a larger deal between Amazon MGM Studios and Tomb Raider reboot developer Crystal Dynamics, which is currently working on a new Tomb Raider game in Unreal Engine 5. In December of 2022, we learned Amazon Games will publish that in-development Tomb Raider game, which Amazon describes as a "single-player, narrative-driven adventure that will add a new chapter to Lara Croft's story in the Tomb Raider series."
"With great IP, the possibilities are endless," Amazon Games vice president Christoph Hartmann writes in a press release. "The richness and depth of the fiction allows the Tomb Raider series from Prime Video and the video game from Amazon Games to tell separate stories about Lara Croft's adventures. We're honored that Crystal Dynamics has entrusted Amazon with this iconic franchise, and we're looking forward to seeing where this collaboration takes us."
This is the second upcoming TV adaptation to star the iconic treasure hunter. Netflix's animated series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, starring Haley Atwell, is set to premiere sometime this year. That particular show is set within the continuity of Crystal Dynamic's reboot trilogy, taking place after the events of Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
If you're curious about Crystal Dynamics' recent Tomb Raider reboot, you can pick up Tomb Raider: Game of the Year Edition on PC via GOG for free if you're an Amazon Prime member throughout May. You definitly should stream Gold Editions of Tomb Raider :O It will be hilarious
Me: Hilarious? Why?
My brain: Shhh, it’s not the game, it’s you
Ok, if Gold versions are available on GOG/Steam, why not? To be honest I’ve only played The Golden Mask and The Lost Artifact (this last one I enjoyed it so much!!!), maybe it’s time to re-play them again and, in time, play Unfinished Business and The Times Exclusive Level too, why not? Again, if they’re available…

The Gaming Heads Tomb Raider™: The Angel of Darkness - Lara Croft Exclusive edition statue
Kinda underwhelmed with this one. The details just aren't there, the pose is boring and her face doesn't look right. At almost $400 for the statue, this doesn't seem worth it.

Gaming Heads 20th Anniversary Tomb Raider Statue: Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness Exclusive Edition
Created by Gaming Heads for release in early 2022 (revealed at the end of July 2021), this statue is the 5th of 6 in the 20th Anniversary range of Tomb Raider statues. The official description reads: 'Accused of the murder of her former mentor the famous archaeologist Werner Von Croy, Lara Croft becomes a fugitive on the run. In an attempt to clear her name, Lara must confront a powerful secret alliance intent on taking over the world.... The design of Lara from Tomb Raider™: The Angel of Darkness was inspired by the cover art of the game with Lara holding both of her pistols straight ahead of her, with a steely determined expression and all while she stands atop a stone slab. She has also been designed to complement the four previous statues in the 1:6 scale series of Tomb Raider™ statues. The Lara Croft Tomb Raider™: The Angel of Darkness Exclusive edition statue is only available here at Gaming Heads and has Lara wearing her sunglasses with the Chirugai (Kurtis' mystic weapon) in her right hand while she points her pistol skywards with her left hand. It also includes the parts that come with the Standard edition statue, which are Lara holding her dual pistols pointing straight head.'[1]. It is a 1:6 scale and has the dimensions of: H 45.5cm x L 20.5cm x W 21.5cm (18" x 8" x 8.5") and weighs 2.85kg (6lbs). The statue also comes with a validation card as a CoA. It is made from polystone resin and is hand crafted and hand painted, and its limited number can be found on the base. It is limited to 500 worldwide. As usual, it has two variants: a regular edition and a collector's edition.
It is available to pre-order on the Gaming Heads website for $389.99 with a $38.99 non-refundable deposit.

and finally this here is our main Christmas gift! I was suppose to get this last year for Christmas but apparently it was pushed back due to the whole virus situation then I was told I was going to get it for my Birthday then I was told I wasn't? and then it was never mentioned of again in this house so I thought I wasn't going to get it after all which seemed kinda mean to tell me I was getting it twice and then not giving it to me. but what can I say anyway it floated to the back of my mind it would have been great to go with the Queen of the Jungle one but that's ok..
Then once everything else was opened this monstrosity was brought out and it is huge! the box itself is huge its like 2-3 feet high and 2-3 feet square when it was brought out and the reason I didn't receive it on my birthday was apparently it was lost in the mail?
I don't know how they managed to do that I could see it if it was a letter or a small package but because of the size of the box and it weighs like 30lbs how could you loose it? but I was told the whole story about it. How the Tracking number was wrong and it was tracking a completely different package and the phone calls and emails that were made and sent and all this stuff and them searching for it for it to find out were it went/was I can say this had quite the harrowing journey to finally get to here and be handed to me for Christmas
but I am over the moon for getting it now and it will be displayed proudly in the living room. It is the most expensive collectable I have ever and probably will ever own in my life.
anyway.. Here is what the front of the box looks like and the side It shows the statue.
and then it has a lil flap that opens and there is a really nice write up on creating the statue on the box and on the other side it has another nice write up about the Lost Valley lvl and its history which was cool
and finally on the back there is a nice full size picture of the artwork this statue is based on which is really nice.

Tomb Raider and the brand have been around for over 23 years and any fan would appreciate that this is quite an achievement! But with this vast history comes items, tidbits or things that have become lost along the way. We have decided to create a list in a hope that someday, someone might be able to rediscover them!
==========================================================
1) Lucozade 'Challenge Lara' Flash Game
This flash game was available to play on Larazade.com in 2001. Players could choose from a selection of equipment and clothing to race in. Lara's energy bar would deplete so players would have to pick up Larazade bottles to refill it. Players had the chance to win one of five Land Rovers or a chance to visit Croft Manor. Very few fansites offered this flash game as a download back in the day. If you'd like to learn more about the Lucozade sponsorship, click here.
2) Timex 'Race Against Time' Flash Game
Created by Snowball Interactive in conjunction with Timex, Eidos Interactive and IGN to promote the Timex feature in Tomb Raider Chronicles, this flash game had Lara defeat enemies with her Timex. The aim of the game was to 'help Lara save her manor before a bomb destroys it!'[1] There was a grand prize winner for so many weeks and 5 runners up. Prizes given were a copy of Tomb Raider Chronicles, a Sega Dreamcast and the choice of a Timex Gripclip or a Timex wrist watch. Sadly, this flash game could not be downloaded. You can still view the original website here however the game no longer loads. Or if you'd like to learn more about the Timex sponsorship, click here.
3) Tomb Raider: Legend Jeep 'Trail Raider' Flash Game
This little flash game could be played on Jeep's website back in 2006/07. Players had to control one of a couple of Jeep vehicles through a side scrolling level. There were 3 levels in total and the goal was to complete the 3 levels as quickly as possible. Once again, this flash game was not offered out as a download so it is another item lost in the history of 20 years of tomb raider. This mini game is not to be confused with 'Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life' Jeep game titled 'Trail of Life'. To read about this game or see more imagery, see here.
4) Lara Croft Tomb Raider Movie Land Rover Defender Mini Game
The only piece of information of its existence is from the old fansite trmovie.com. The link on the page led to the the tomb raider page on the Land Rover website but this is all we know. This game could be downloaded but few fansites at the time and no websites now offer this as a download.
5) TV Games
This includes the Sky Gamestar, the Tomb Raider Apocalypse series, Tomb Raider: The Reckoning and Tomb Raider Secret of The Sword. These titles were never made available for download online and was exclusive to the sponsors. As times have moved on and popularity with the series changed, these quirky games have been lost to time. It is hard to find media concerning these games although several websites at the time have screenshots. One standout fan site is World of Tomb Raider and you can find the links to these pages in their sidebar.
6) Lux Veritatis Website
Recently re-discovered by Tomb-of-Ash here. There is little to no history about this very well hidden sub website. There could be a number of reasons why this project was not expanded upon. The first image came from Aussie500's Photobucket. In February 2018, whilst looking around the web archive for the sub site, we came across a screensaver, which we believe was given out as a prize for completing the puzzles. Sadly there was nothing to tell us what the puzzles were. To read more, see here.
7) Gordonstoun Cinema Advert
Back in 2001, Gordonstoun created an advertisement with the help of former students Lara Croft and two female adventurers to promote the school. The 3 minute advertisement was shown in cinemas before the start of the Tomb Raider movie. Gordonstoun offered the advertisement for download on their website, however very few fansites covered this story and so very few sites offered it as a download. This one is lost. You can visit the original website here or read more about this at Croft Times here.
8) Playmates Talking Figure Prototype (And other Prototype Figures)
Like many figures, prototypes are made and taken to conventions to stir up interest in the new line. This product was complete with packaging but for some reason, never mass produced. It would have been interesting to know what Lara would have said as she was never too chatty in game. The Croft Times did publish some details which came from the Playmates website: 'Twelve-inch Realistic Talking Lara Croft figure. Highly detailed Lara Croft figure with authentic fabric fashion and rooted hair; the figure speaks hundreds of phrases from the Tomb Raider video game series. Available: July. Estimated Retail Price:$29.99'[2]. We don't think that there were hundreds of phrases - probably seven or eight. We know that the figure existed as a physical item, as it was shown at Toy Fair in New York on February 8th, 1999, where there are pictures of Nell McAndrew stood by it. As well as this talking figure, there were various figures, an arctic Lara with snow leopard, an all brown outfit Lara with snow leopard and an Area 51 diarama with alien. It would be interesting to one day find out where these are now.
9) Down Among the Dead Story
A seven-part story, written by Erica Wagner, the literary editor of The Times, to coincide with the release of the Core Design Times exclusive level. From our research, very few fansites followed this story, which is understandable as the story was only released in the UK newspaper, The Times, so only the first part seems to exist. We managed find pictures from various fans collections, and wrote up the first part. To see more, visit here.
10) Flatland Rover
Although not completely lost as a few files can be found through the website archive, this rather cool piece of history has become forgotten. In 1999, Eidos Interactive and Flatland Rover Online struck a deal and provided fans and users of the Flatland Rover software the tools needed to create Tomb Raider-esque levels that could be played in a 3DML browser. In return, Flatland Rover helped to promote 'Tomb Raider 3: The Lost Artefact'.
11) Lara Croft: Reflections
This mobile game was released free on the Apple App Store in December 2013 but only in New Zealand and Australia. There is very little of this game left, only the most dedicated of fans would have captured imagery, videos.
12) Shadow of the Tomb Raider - Path of the Stars Mini Flash Game
There has been a few other browser mini games that were created in promotion of something Tomb Raider that can no longer be played. But because of social media and fans being more connected, the basic images of them won't be lost forever. 'Path of the Stars' was created to tease 'Shadow of the Tomb Raider' but now after game release, the webpage is gone. Yes, it was simplistic but when it's gone, it's gone forever. You can't even go back in time to play it.
13) Tomb Raider (2018) Movie - Escape the Tomb Mini Flash Game
Another flash game that will be gone when support for Flash ends in 2020, well, actually the page is now non-existant. Whilst you can go back in time to play the game, it doesn't load correctly for at least one of the puzzles and therefore it cannot be completed. This means that its art is also gone.
==========================================================
We are sure that there are a few things that we have missed from this list, maybe there's more to the Core Design's Anniversary edition that is yet to be uncovered, maybe there are more early/ beta game ideas for the franchise but what we've learnt from this is that we need to save everything that we can from our franchise's rich history. We'll leave the list open for any future inclusions.

Okay, stupid question BUT. What are 4 games you would recommend someone to play in a heartbeat?
Let me preface this with: I am Sony all the way, at least up to now. If they keep on keepin’ on with the next generation, I’ll stay that way. For me, I primarily play story-focused games. So for me, Sony and Playstation have managed to secure the exclusives that appeal to me.
Okay. So, I’m (MOSTLY) going to stick with the current generation as it’s most accessible and available. Which honestly is pretty easy given the advances in storytelling we’ve witnessed this generation alone.
And here we go!
1. The Last of Us
This is a given with me. If you’ve listened to me talk about games at all, this one almost always comes up. Yes, it was first released on PS3. So whether you have a PS3 or PS4, this title should be pretty inexpensive at this point.
This isn’t on this list because of the gameplay. It’s fine, it’s functional, it takes some getting used to, lots of waiting because: stealth. It’s here because this is, in my opinion, one of the best told stories in video games. It’s a good story in general, but the use of environmental storytelling, the quality of the banter and moments that are easily missed, the slow growth of the relationship over time through your time with the game... It’s done masterfully well. Neil Druckmann is a genius. Whatever formula he has for writing, it’s working, with this and with Uncharted 4, Uncharted The Lost Legacy, and soon with The Last of Us Part II. I still haven’t seen anything like it.
Okay, as for the next, I’m going to go with...
2. God of War (2018)
I’ve played all the prior God of War titles. Ascension, the psp games, all of them. God of War 3 felt like the best we could possibly get with the character that was Kratos.
I’m so relieved Cory Barlog proved me wrong.
As a female gamer, I treasure those moments where I feel powerful. It’s not too often, at least in terms of games that appeal to me (shout out to Aloy and Lara Croft!). I didn’t expect to bond with Atreus and Kratos and even Mimir as much as I did. I never felt excluded or never thought that the story was unrelatable. In fact, as with the Last of Us, my lack of a father figure growing up only made this more meaningful for me.
This game is stunning. The combat is SO SATISFYING! It’s a grand tale of an adventure with the background of a stunted relationship between father and son. The constant over the shoulder camera, not broken at all throughout the game, gives you the sense that you are there with them. It’s such a refreshing thing, seeing game directors choose to go out of the box with certain things. This is a must play as an all-around good game. The Leviathan Axe is amazing on its own.
3. Divinity: Original Sin 2
This is not a console-exclusive game. In fact, for the longest time it was inaccessible to me as I don’t have a gaming PC, until they released the Definitive Editions for consoles. Still, it was a good while (a year about) before it was released on consoles. It’s now also available on Nintendo Switch!
CRPGs are definitely not for everyone. They weren’t for me when I first tried it. Too complicated, multiple systems running in the background, and at that point with no knowledge on the rules of D&D and how it would apply to a game like this, stats, usefulness of certain things over others, the freedom of the game, etc, it was honestly far too complex for me.
Thanks to watching some of Critical Role as well as going back and watching CohhCarnage’s playthrough of the game (some, not all, his playthrough on youtube is easily over 100+ hours) I felt like it was doable.
So I jumped back in. With a better understanding of how things worked, I spent over 120 hours on my own playthrough. The story and characters are wonderful, the grand scale of the game felt insane to me! The absolute freedom to create your character in terms of what their expertise would be, how you want them to talk to other characters, etc, it was just giving me everything I wanted from a game like Dragon Age (I will say, companion interactions and romances are obviously top notch over there, but the gameplay leaves something to be desired). It clicked so much for me primarily because I don’t have real friends to play D&D with, so this was the next best thing. It’s an amazing game. Can’t wait to see what Larian does with Baldur’s Gate III.
Finally...and narrowing this one down was difficult, let me tell you...
4. Final Fantasy X
An oldie but a goodie. This game is available on basically all consoles at this point. It’ll be on Xbox GamePass soon with all the other Square Enix titles like Kingdom Hearts, etc, so if you have an Xbox, prepare yourself.
This was one of the first games I played fully on my own.It came out in 2001. I would’ve been about 9 years old. I don’t know exactly when I played it, but I didn’t finish it the first time around. It wasn’t until high school that I went back and actually completed it all the way through. Before that I’d relied upon my step-dad’s gamesaves to experience the ending of both X and X-2. But doing it for myself still felt fresh and new. And heartbreaking.
This is the sort of gaming convention (turn-based combat) that I wish would make a real comeback. Everything about it in this title is smooth and smart. We’ll see how Yakuza 7 does! Who knows, maybe the FFVII remake in Classic mode will scratch that itch (though the new battle system looks insanely good too).
This entry in the extensive Final Fantasy franchise stands out to me personally (next to Final Fantasy IX) as one of the best stories offered. I still cry even though I know what happens and exactly when. And I still haven’t explored the game’s depths (screw you celestial weapons!). The fact that it’s still in the back of my mind to return to this tells me it’s quality. Try it if you haven’t. Enjoy it.
Honorable mentions: Tomb Raider reboot franchise, Mass Effect 2, Batman Arkham franchise, Uncharted franchise (specifically 4 and TLL), Detroit: Become Human, Dishonored franchise, Prey, Resident Evil 7 (PLAY IT IN VR IF POSSIBLE!), Bioshock franchise.
Thanks for listening, and asking!
Go enjoy video games!

Forza Horizon 4 Bond Car Reveals
Speaking of Playground Games, we had even more news to share on Forza Horizon 4 which is launching with some day one DLC and it’s a love letter to 007. With 10 classic James Bond cars on the way, and even some of the weirder ones, the only thing we’ll be missing is a properly shaken and stirred martini to make us feel like the super spy himself.
Fortnite Interview and Xbox One S Fornite Battle Royale Bundle
Getting ready to celebrate the first birthday of Fortnite Battle Royale, our very own Larry Hryb sat down with Nathan Mooney from Epic Games to look back on the year that was. A time before Ninja and Drake were besties, when Thanos appeared, and many other memorable moments. Mooney also shared what the future of Fortnite has in store for all of us. Not to mention the reveal of the Xbox One S Fortnite Battle Royale console bundle.
Route Creator Revealed for Forza Horizon 4
Next up were even more details for Forza Horizon 4 – the reveal of the much-requested fan feature: Route Creator. This in-game tool will allow fans to draw our their very own course in the world of FH4 and then share that online with the larger gaming community.
New Xbox Update Details
The first info for the next Xbox One update came through today as well, with features like Dolby Vision, new voice integration for Cortana and Alexa-enabled devices, and new details on Xbox Avatars. But in perhaps the biggest bit of news coming to Xbox…
Mouse and Keyboard Support for Xbox
Phil Spencer joined Inside Xbox for a very exciting piece of news: mouse and keyboard support for Xbox One. Soon, developers will be able to build mouse and keyboard support in their games if and how they choose — entirely at their discretion — and Xbox will support them in creating the right experience for their games to ensure an optimal and fair gaming experience. Warframe will be one of the first titles testing mouse and keyboard input when the feature arrives to Insider. We also announced that we’re partnering with Razer, a premiere peripheral manufacturer in the gaming hardware space, to bring you the best possible mouse and keyboard experience for this new functionality. We’ll have more details to share on mouse and keyboard support during our November episode of Inside Xbox.
Announcing X018
A global celebration all things Xbox filled with news, first looks, and surprises live streamed on the largest Inside Xbox episode ever. X018 will be hosted at the fourth-annual Xbox FanFest: Mexico City. While more than 10,000 fans will join us onsite, we hope millions of Xbox fans will join the celebration online. We will livestream X018 on Inside Xbox so fans all around the world can participate online. Inside Xbox will air 3 – 5 pm central time on Saturday, Nov. 10, and fans can tune into Mixer throughout the weekend for additional X018 news.
Reach Out Worldwide Charity
Last year, Xbox teamed up with Cody Walker for Game4Paul3 and helped raise over a $150,000 for Reach Out World Wide. We’re getting everyone back together this year for another big charity stream, and we could not be more excited about this event. Catch the Game4Paul4 live stream on October 11.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider DLC Reveal
Shadow of the Tomb Raider may be the conclusion of the new Lara Croft trilogy, but there’s still plenty do to after the credits roll. In fact, seven-months-worth of tombs to explore. Larry raided Rich Brigg’s brain-space from Crystal Dynamics for an exclusive look at the first DLC coming this October on this episode of Inside Xbox.
The Forza Horizon 4 Seasons Simulator
We looked at the one-of-a-kind Forza Horizon 4 Seasons Simulator. The 360-degree booth is designed to mimic the changing seasons in Forza Horizon 4 where celebrities had to endure rain, snow, heat, and mud while they play the game on Xbox One X. Check out these stars battling all the elements on Inside Xbox.
Hollow Knight Interview
Hollow Knight is an incredible indie platformer that’s full of style and mystery, and it’s available on Xbox One right now. The Voidheart Edition on Xbox One means you get all the DLC included for free and is currently 20% for a limited time until October 2. Learn about this modern classic here on the show.
A Closer Look at the Forza Horizon 4 cover car: the McLaren Senna
Only 500 of these high-performance machines were made — and they’re completely sold out. The last one was auctioned off for close to three million dollars and Justine got to check out the cover vehicle for Forza Horizon 4 with Tanner Foust to find out why they’re so coveted.
McLaren Senna Stunt
Inspired by the cover car and spectacular showcase events in Forza Horizon 4, we staged an unprecedented head-to-head race at one of the world’s most iconic motor racing venues. The race saw a McLaren Senna take on the bikes in a straight fight to the top of the Goodwood Estate’s world-famous Hill Climb. And despite the bikes’ unconventionally direct route up the hill, including a few jaw-dropping jumps and tricks, the Senna’s incredible speed and power won out in the end.
Thanks to everyone who tuned in! We hope you enjoyed the show and we can’t wait to tell you all about next month’s episode in a few weeks.
