A6, selfended with the fanart placed on the “endpapers”. Bookcloth is silver & red, with winter soldier arm lines and the title printed on -the silver didn’t take the printing well but I think it looks ok! And I like the faded-looking title, it fits with the fic. the star on the cover is a cutout.

this is one of my all-time favourite winter soldier fics, wherein Bucky finds himself liberating and looking after a child created as an experiment with his DNA. the child is brainwashed (and beloved Bucky to be his dad) but through well-meaning but perhaps inadequate caretaking & affection they become a family unit. highly recommended!

before i knew what "no beta we die like xyz" on ao3 meant i saw this on one of the fanfics from jnh for the first time. it said "no beta, we die like lanyon" and oh boy, i loved that sentence. i literally said it to myself everytime i entered my chem class in school. no beta, we die like lanyon *opens a chemistry notebook to do homework*

jekylls design is still kinda a work in progress so im not posting too much of it

basic summary of the story is its a story set after the events of all the gothic lit books but in a alt universe where they all dont die in the end and survive and live after it.

Anywho - this broke me a little with how simple and beautiful it was and I wanted to share it.

Jekyll: *surrounded by textbooks piled up to his chin, papers thrown everywhere, aggressively writing*

Lanyon: *done with his nonsense*

Utterson: Harry… when was the last time you left this room?

Lanyon: He stopped verbally responding to me around midterms. I just leave food at the doorway and hope he hasn’t been decomposing.

Jekyll: *unintelligible grunting*

Lanyon: We best leave him be, the daylight might ruin his circadian rhythm. See you in a week Jekyll!
