Nació en Jindrichuv Hradec.

Creció en su familia, hija de Josef Provázk, un oficial del ejército austrohúngaro, en los lugares donde él trabajaba: en Pilsen, Šumperk y Komárno. Cuando se jubiló, se le concedió el título nobiliario "de Lanova / Lanow", que más tarde la hija utilizó junto con el apellido de su marido. Su hermano mayor Stanislav fue un microbiólogo checo, codescubridor del agente bacteriano del tifus.

Estudió pintura en Viena, Munich y París. Su obra estuvo significativamente influenciada por el expresionismo. Pintó flores, paisajes y retratos.

Recibió pues, su educación artística exclusivamente en el extranjero. En 1899 se unió al pintor Heinrich Strehblov en una escuela de arte privada en Viena, pero ya en 1901 se mudó a Munich a la escuela del pintor húngaro Simon Hollósy. Gracias a él, también entró en contacto con los representantes de la colonia de arte en la húngara Nagybanya.

De 1906 a 1911, estuvo casada con Sándor (Alexander) Galimberti, un pintor de ascendencia húngaro-italiana. En 1907, fueron juntos a París, donde asistió a la Académie de la Grande Chaumière, la Académie Russe y la Académie de la Palette, donde el pintor Fernand Léger se convirtió en su instructor.

En este momento, se familiarizó más con la obra de Paul Gauguin, Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse o Amadeo Modigliani.

Ya en 1908 expuso allí por primera vez en el Salón Independiente y tres años más tarde también en el Salón de Otoño.

Viajó a Italia y España en viajes de estudios.

También trabajó en la colonia de arte de Kecskemét, donde se hizo amiga de Vilmos Perlrott. Desde el extranjero regresaba constantemente a lugares relacionados con su familia: Jindřichova Hradec, Kamenice nad Lipou o a un apartamento de verano cerca de Zvíkov, en Bohemia del Sur.

Después de 1917 regresó permanentemente a Bohemia y comenzó a unirse a asociaciones y grupos artísticos nacionales. Ya a principios de los años 20 expuso en la Asociación Libre de Artistas Checos Independientes, gracias a lo cual se acercó personalmente al artista gráfico Josef Váchal y a su futura socia, la artista gráfica Anna Macková. Junto a ellos, a partir de 1921 comenzó a participar en las exposiciones de la asociación de arte Tvorba.

Ya en 1931, cuando tenía 51 años, comenzó a asistir al Estudio Ucraniano de Bellas Artes en Praga, que se creó como un programa educativo dirigido principalmente a miembros de la emigración rusa y ucraniana en Checoslovaquia.

A partir de 1935 expuso regularmente en la Asociación de Artistas. Esto le permitió presentar de manera más completa su propio trabajo después de muchas presentaciones parciales anteriores.

A esto le siguió una exposición individual en Jindřichov Hradec (1942) y dos años más tarde dos exposiciones en Praga. Su última exposición fue organizada por la Asociación de Artistas en 1949. Sólo en esta década la artista fue apreciada tardíamente, al menos parcialmente, pero al final ya no pintaba.

Debido a los largos años que pasó en el extranjero, luchó por establecerse en el entorno cultural checo, y una apreciación más fundamental de su trabajo no llegó hasta el final de su vida. Tras su muerte, la obra casi olvidada fue conmemorada por primera vez después de mucho tiempo en una exposición en la Galería Bohemia Occidental de Pilsen en 2011.

Murió en Mariánské charitní dům en Litoměřice a principios de los años 1950 .

Henford House (wip)

Henford House is a royal country retreat in the parish of Henford-on-Bagley. Built in 1870 and based in Henford, it is the much loved private home of His Majesty King Philip VII, unlike Geraldi Palace or Lanova Castle. Set in 20,000 acres and is best known for being the location for where the monarch films the famous Christmas messages,

Her Majesty Queen Grace once described the house as "dear old Henford, the place I love better than anywhere else in the world".

The property was purchased in 1864 and completed construction in 1870.  

As the private property of the monarch, it was passed down to Grace's first son and heir, His Majesty the King, as indicated in her will. His Majesty is as devoted to the house as his mother was, writing often to his father HRH Andrew, the Duke of Cannes, “I have always been so happy here and I love the place". The Duke eventually took residence to permanently retire at Henford House. 

After construction in the 18th century, this old Valencian estate once belonged to the Duke and Duchess of Henford before being purchased by Queen Alexandra. Henford House is one of two personal and private residences owned by The Royal Family, unlike the Royal palaces that belong to the Crown.

Although the home has maintained much of its 18th century elegance, it has since undergone many renovations to bring it up to date to the modern era. In addition to a working farm and stables, the estate features vast longings, conservatory and secret study.

          Sidereal watched the token spin above him with a a mixture of emotions playing across his face.He was finally leaving Lanova, finally going home after four long years. If everything hadn’t moved so quickly he may have even had time for tears, but as it was they were moving things along right after he won. The trials had always been exhausting, but actually winning them had drained the young man almost dry. 

          He had time to dwell on that later, time enough to dwell on everything that had happened to him. At the moment all that matter was getting home.Shaking his head, he refocused on the coin, now spinning fast enough to blur.Any moment now and he’d fina...

          A blinding flash and the feeling of being pulled through a rip stream interrupted any thoughts he was having about his homeward arrival.His landing home is in much the same way, sudden.The sudden ability to breath again, The sudden impact with the wall and the sudden pull of his conscious mind down into a stupor.

          However, the fall cloak was not to let it’s wearer fall to something so simple as a concussion and Within moments Sid’s sight came back to clarity, revealing not the museum from which he had left, but another rural town.Guards and peasants alike standing around and staring at him.For a brief moment he hopes this is just a trick, anything other than what it looked like.

          This hope was dashed the moment the man in front of him drew a sword and leveled it to Sid’s eyes. He was still in the trials.He hadn’t won, of course he hadn’t won.Of course he was still there, it was too easy, Asura had gone down, Asura couldn’t lose how could he even have thought that. 

          In between one breath and another everything changed, and Sidereal reacted. In one movement a dagger of ice came into existence and was thrown at the guard’s throat. A moment later and the mage was upon his feet sprinting towards the next, fire lapping along his hands.A sweeping motion is made and a wave of fire springs from the youth’s hands burning, the grassy cobblestone black and reducing the target of the mages hatred to nothing but a burnt out corpse. 

          The arrow takes him by surprise, ripping through his shoulder and dropping him to the ground.For a moment it looks as though the terror is over for the men still alive, the mage was feeble and died easy. That thought dies the moment the figure starts to stir.

How would Sid react to having to fight the members of the Council again? What about Sura?

If he knew he wasn't going to be stuck again, he'd have no problem fighting the council members. He's already proven to be their superiors in terms of magic. It'd be frustration above all else.

However. Sura is and has been the subject of almost every night terror the mage has had since leaving Lanova. He would look for anyway to avoid it, any way that he could skip the fight or escape it.

Sidereal is convinced the last time they fought, he won only by a chance. A split second decision, a spell cast just a hair faster, and trauma that would last a lifetime. He has no intention of ever interacting with Sura ever again.
