Shania Twain - Ka-Ching! 2003
"Ka-Ching!" is a song recorded by Canadian country-pop singer Shania Twain. It was released on February 17, 2003, as the second single to her fourth studio album Up! (2002), exclusively to Europe and Central America. The song was written by Twain and Robert John "Mutt" Lange. Lyrically it centers on greed and consumer culture. "Ka-Ching!" became one of Twain's most successful singles in Europe to date, reaching the top ten in six European countries and topping the Portuguese music charts, which lead to the song peaking at number two on the European Hot 100 Singles, becoming her highest peaking single on the chart. In the UK, it became her sixth consecutive, seventh overall, top ten single.
"Ka-Ching!" remains one of Twain's most genre-diverse songs. The main "Red" version is an upbeat rhythmic song with a Middle Eastern influence. The "Green" version has a country feel, and the "Blue" version is more worldly. Remixes have provided Hip hop, Lounge, and Bhangra versions.
"Ka-Ching!" received a total of 48,6% yes votes.

Tian Guan Ci Fu and the Number "3"
Tao gives birth to one. One gives birth to two. Two gives birth to three. Three gives birth to all things and all beings.
Tao Te Ching – Chapter 42
The number 3 is a subtle yet significant recurring element throughout the whole story of TGCF. Hua Cheng prefers to be called 'San Lang', which means 'third son', and he raises 3000 lanterns for Xie Lian during the Mid-Autumn Festival. There are three realms (the Heavenly, Human and Ghost Realm) and Xie Lian ascended three times. The repeated use of this particular number is certainly no coincidence.
In Chinese numerology, the number 3 is usually considered a lucky number associated with the journey of life. It represents the three stages of life (birth, marriage, death). And in Taoism, the number 3 represents harmony and balance, as it is found in the trinity of cosmic structures such as heaven, earth, and humanity, or the states of a being (the physical, energy and spiritual body). The interaction between Yin and Yang, the two universal opposing forces, creates a third state – a state of harmony from which all other things are created, making the number 3 a powerful symbolic number.
In TGCF, the use of the number 3 is consistent with the meaning of balance between different forces and moments of transformation.
Each of Xie Lian’s ascensions marks a certain stage of his journey. His first ascension reflects his initial ideals and ambitions, born of his youthful and naive aspirations, full of hope and glory. His second ascension comes after dark times filled with tragedy and failure, marking his fallibility. Finally, his third ascension comes at a time of humility, when Xie Lian accepts his flaws, representing completion and spiritual balance.
Likewise, Hua Cheng goes through three stages upon his own journey. First, still alive, as Hong Hong-er, outcast and weak, seeking purpose and dying on the battlefield. Then as a ghost – first as a ghost fire, later as the wrath Wuming – following his reason for staying, but helpless against the tragedies that befall his beloved. And finally, as Hua Cheng, supreme Ghost King, strong and feared, ready to stay as an equal beside his beloved.
They are meeting during each of these stages but both are in their third stage when they reunite for their paths to remain intertwined forever. In the world of TGCF with tensions between the Heavenly and Ghostly Realm, Xie Lian’s and Hua Cheng’s bond, which grows from acquaintance to friendship to love, creates a bridge between these two opposing forces, representing balance.
The recurring use of the number 3 reflects the symbolic meaning behind this number. Through the clash of opposing forces – gods and ghosts, love and suffering, rise and fall – new paths are created. Both Xie Lian and Hua Cheng grow through their pain, and their transformations eventually lead to a shared life of harmony and balance.

In January, Taipei-based food writer Liz Kao thought she had scored a coveted invitation to the inauguration banquet for Taiwan’s president-elect, Lai Ching-te, on May 20. She was flattered when one of the organizers asked if she wanted to attend. But when she hopped on a clarifying call with him in March, she realized there was more to it.
“He told me I was going to make the menu. I was shocked,” Kao said.
Suddenly, Kao, a lawyer-turned-food influencer, found herself in charge of designing a state banquet for more than 1,000 guests. She put together a task team composed of veteran food writer Jewel Tsai—“who is very experienced in sourcing ingredients,” Kao said—and two critically acclaimed Taipei chefs: Wes Kuo of Embers, who has an encyclopedic “knowledge of herbs and plants in Taiwan,” and Tsai Jui-lang of Mountain and Sea House, who specializes in traditional 20th-century banquet fare. “He has the technique,” Kao said.
In less than 36 hours, the group had sketched out a preliminary eight-course meal. Their strategy was to concoct dishes and flavor profiles that would represent Taiwan’s five main ethnic subgroups: Indigenous, Hoklo, Hakka, Chinese mainlanders, and Southeast Asians. “We wanted to tell the story of Taiwan’s multiculturalism and democracy,” Jewel Tsai said.
This story is central to Lai’s platform. His Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is the first political party in Taiwan’s history to secure three consecutive terms, and Lai has styled himself as an extension of his predecessor, Tsai Ing-wen, who maintains that Taiwan is already a sovereign, independent country and does not need to declare independence. The party asserts the island’s autonomy in part by embracing its vibrant mix of cultural identities, and this year’s banquet menu is an expansion of that ethos.
At first glance, Taiwan may not look like a very diverse society, since 95 percent of its inhabitants are ethnically Han Chinese. But that’s a huge and broad term for a multitude of peoples. In addition to its Indigenous residents, who make up about 2 percent of the island’s population, Taiwan has a 400-year history of immigration, and each wave has brought new food customs, condiments, and dishes to the island.
Seventy percent of residents have Hoklo ancestry, descending from the initial wave of migrants from China’s Fujian province who started settling on the island’s west coast in the 17th century. Hakka, a migratory group from southern China, also arrived during this period and comprise about 15 percent of the population.
Another 10 to 15 percent is represented by Chinese mainlanders, who fled with the Republic of China’s government to Taiwan during the Chinese Civil War in the mid-20th century. Southeast Asians, the most recent immigrant group, began arriving in large numbers in the 1990s and now account for 2 percent of Taiwan’s population.
“Taiwanese cuisine is the combination of all these groups of people. It’s a sum of all the cultures,” Kao said.
As Kao’s team prepared the menu, they narrowed in on ingredients unique to each of these cultures. For the first course, for example, they opted for an array of seasonal vegetables, including Makino bamboo, chayote squash shoots, and lily bulbs, plated over a streak of sauces that represent Taiwan’s ethnic subgroups: te’nas, an Indigenous chili saltwater dip; Dongquan chili sauce, a Hoklo-style hot sauce; a sweet Hakka kumquat jam; fermented tofu paste, brought over by Chinese mainlanders; and satay sauce, a nod to Southeast Asian immigrants.
Eaten together, these starkly different sauces create a bright, savory blend that ties the dish together. “Ingredients are a vehicle to represent democracy,” said Kuo, who curated the sauces for this dish.
State banquets in Taiwan have long been a soft-power tool for the island’s leaders. When the Republic of China government, led by Chiang Kai-shek, fled to Taiwan in 1949 during the Chinese Civil War, Chiang wanted to project it as the sole legitimate ruler of China. For his inauguration banquet, his staff therefore served haute regional Chinese dishes such as Sichuan smoked duck, Cantonese barbecue pork, and Shanghai-style fried prawns.
Over the next few decades, state dinners followed a similar script. In 1965, Yen Chia-kan, who would later become Chiang’s successor, hosted a dinner for foreign press corps featuring braised shark’s fin, Beijing duck, and northern Chinese knife-shaved noodles. The recent wave of mainland Chinese immigrants made up less than one-sixth of the population, but they had already become Taiwan’s ruling elite. The cuisines of the rest of the populace—Hoklo, Hakka, and Indigenous—did not appear on official menus.
Taiwan transitioned from a dictatorship to a democracy in the 1980s, with the old ruling party, the Kuomintang (KMT), or Nationalists, becoming one player in a multiparty system. But state menus didn’t change significantly until 2000, when Taiwan-born Chen Shui-bian became the first elected leader from the DPP. Unlike the KMT, the DPP had less of a cultural affinity with the Chinese mainland. Chen’s banquet included local delicacies that predated the Nationalist government’s arrival in Taiwan and elevated what had previously been considered working-class fare, such as meatball soup made with local milkfish and steamed savory rice pudding.
Since then, Taiwan’s inauguration banquets have become increasingly egalitarian and specific to the island, reflecting a growing number of people identifying as Taiwanese over their ethnic subgroups. That assertion has upset the Chinese government, which claims Taiwan as part of its territory.
The inauguration banquet of the KMT’s Ma Ying-jeou in 2008 took a farm-to-table approach that showcased the island’s food production; the menu listed the sources of many of the ingredients, including chicken from Guanmiao, a southern Taiwanese farming district, and squash from the east coast city of Taitung.
Indigenous ingredients weren’t represented for the first time until the inauguration meal of Tsai, the outgoing president. Her menu in 2016 featured pork chops dusted with maqaw, a native Taiwanese spice akin to lemon pepper. It also included Hakka-style rice noodles topped with shiitakes, which, according to the menu, were harvested by a farmer named Tian Chin-feng in northern Taiwan. Tsai has ancestry from both groups.
Lai’s banquet builds on that legacy by being more inclusive than ever. “Past menus have not acknowledged the new immigrants,” said Jewel Tsai, referring to the Southeast Asian population in Taiwan. Eighty percent of all foreign residents are migrant laborers, hailing mostly from Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. “They’re an important part of Taiwan. They have small restaurants all over,” she said. “I believe that in the next five to 10 years, their food will be integrated into Taiwanese cuisine at large.”
On a Friday afternoon a few weeks before the inauguration, I met Kao’s team at the Formosa Yacht Resort in the southern city of Tainan, the venue for the banquet. Unbeknownst to patrons enjoying the breakfast buffet, the team was huddled in a private room nearby for a tasting of the presidential dinner. They had finalized the menu, but the hotel chefs were in charge of executing the vision. It was the last rehearsal before the big event, and nerves were high.
Chefs Kuo, Tsai, and their associates sat together, jotting down tasting notes and feedback on plating and tableware choices for the in-house staff. In the next room, a local vlogger was interviewing Kao. Meanwhile, Jewel Tsai patiently explained each dish to me as they arrived.
The hors d’oeuvres platter featured a drunken chicken medallion marinated in Shaoxing wine, which represented mainlanders’ cuisine, alongside a taro, sweet potato, and kumquat spring roll—a personal favorite of Lai, who has Hoklo roots—from a vendor in the president-elect’s hometown of Wanli. It also included a Hakka rice dumpling flavored with mugwort, an Indigenous millet wrap stuffed with pork, and a singular shrimp coated in a bright Southeast Asian-style sweet chili sauce.
Most of the other courses weren’t as literal but still drew from the theme. A filleted seabream from a local aquaculture farm sat on a salted white puree flavored with bright green drops of oil made from cicong, an Indigenous prickly ash, which lent it a peppery, yuzu-like tang. A chicken soup with aged turnip and a parcel of pickled mustard greens paid homage to the fermentation techniques of the Hakka. A 1930s-inspired sweet and sour pork adorned with preserved plums and green mangoes recalled Hoklo fine dining when Taiwan was under Japanese colonial rule. There was thinly sliced goose with turnip and tofu braised in two types of sauces: one to represent Chinese mainlanders of Teochew descent (“It has more spices,” Jewel Tsai said) and another in the style of the Hoklo (“More simple,” she said).
While the dishes were steeped in symbolism, none of the flavors were overwhelmingly spicy or bold. The fish had been deboned. Most courses could be enjoyed with a fork and knife. It was an elegant progression of courses fit for a crowd of political leaders, important campaign donors, and foreign dignitaries from around the world.
Then the unexpected happened. As the seventh course arrived, the room suddenly erupted in cheers. “Bubble tea!” Kuo exclaimed. Servers carried in shrimp rice and the iconic Taiwanese beverage, sourced directly from two popular eateries in Tainan. It was essentially takeout on a plate—a jolting deviation from the intricately composed dishes that preceded it. The bubble tea, which came with fat black straws, looked almost cartoonish.
A special request from the president-elect, the course was rumored by the team to be a nod to Chinese President Xi Jinping. In a television interview last summer, Lai said that if he ever had the opportunity to dine with Xi in Taiwan, he’d order shrimp rice and a cup of bubble tea. For dessert, we finished off with a fruit popsicle dipped in a citrus-forward marmalade, surrounded by mango, pineapple, melon, and wax apple—all sourced from Taiwanese farmers.
After the tasting, I asked Lee Hou-ching, the secretary-general of the nongovernmental organization in charge of planning the banquet, about the official reason for the seventh course. He demurred. “Tainan is known as a food city,” he said. “Lai wanted to represent Tainan with a dish appropriate for a banquet.”
Food is subject to interpretation, but that’s partly what makes it such an effective yet subtle tool of soft power. The inauguration banquet is a way for Taiwan’s new leadership to set the tone for how it wants the world to perceive the island. “We want the world to know Taiwan’s identity,” Kao said. “We represent democracy, freedom, and diversity.”

“You should meet people, go out” said a concerned cousin who feels that I am getting more withdrawn from the world of the living and is starting to be a “Hikikomori” a Japanese term for people who started to recluse themselves.
I am far from that, really and I know where to draw the line naman. I feel that i am in a phase na I want to be quiet...
so ayun in order to assure them that i am still in control of my head, I decided to meet this guy i dated a couple of months back.
a doctor....again....
since I need to buy stuff narin, we met at Greenhills and ate at Le Ching which serves good food but the service sucks and the cleanliness of their tables, questionable. After eating we did our rounds and had coffee before heading home.
as usual, I was tulala most of the time. like was it intentional? or i am just plain finding comfort in the absence of words? really, i do not know?
even communicating sa text nalang, di ko ma enunciate....feeling ko ang bobo ko. ewan. i came to my senses lang when he said he feels like trash...
was it because of me that he feels shit and all? and it its the case, shit ang sama ko na pala.
guilt-ridden i went to his apartment for some peace offering and invited him to have coffee at 7/11 - yes kids, when you get old and you want some privacy and a serous talk, park you car, get a 7/11 coffee and talk like mature people do to sort out issues at the parking lot.

Just some thoughts...
Labyrinth "You know how much I hate that everybody just expects me to bounce back/Just like that" "You know how scared I am of elevators/Never trust it if it rises fast/It can't last" Ours "Elevator buttons and morning air/Strangers' silence makes me wanna take the stairs/If you were here we'd laugh about their vacant stares/But right now my time is theirs/Seems like there's always someone who disapproves/They'll judge it like they know about me and you" [Most likely she would rather rally platonic relationships around her vs. romantic right now- especially with the public eyes on her.]
You Are in Love "Buttons on a coat""The light reflects the chain on your neck" [Style references?] "He says, "Look up"/And your shoulders brush/No proof, one touch, but you felt enough""One night he wakes/Strange look on his face/Pauses, then says/You're my best friend/And you knew what it was/He is in love [Comfortable/comfort/confide]
End Game "Reputation precedes me, they told you I'm crazy/I swear I don't love the drama, it loves me/And I can't let you go, your handprint's on my soul" [Sound like she appreciates the mundane things in life-btw, reminded me of Eros & Psych mythology] "It's like your eyes are liquor, it's like your body is gold/You've been calling my bluff on all my usual tricks" Mastermind "I'm the wind in our free-flowing sails/And the liquor in our cocktails""I laid the groundwork and then saw a wide smirk/On your face, you knew the entire time/You knew that I'm a mastermind" [But her life can never be normal- like a superhero or villain]
So it Goes..."Gold cage, hostage to my feelings""Met you in a bar/All eyes on me, your illusionist/All eyes on us/I make all your gray days clear and/Wear you like a necklace" [Made me think of Harry Houdini- magician/illusionist] Call it what you want "… I want to wear his initial/On a chain 'round my neck, chain 'round my neck/Not because he owns me/But 'cause he really knows me" [Proud in public, not kept like a dirty secret?]
Stockholm Syndrome "Who's that shadow holding me hostage?""Oh, baby, look what you've done to me" [Line is like LWYMMD] Kiwi "She sits beside me like a silhouette/Hard candy drippin' on me 'til my feet are wet" [Style music video visuals?] "And now she's all over me, it's like I paid for it (cha-ching)/It's like I paid for it, I'm gonna pay for this" Cowboy Like Me "Only if they pay for it/You're a bandit like me" Mastermind ""No one wanted to play with me as a little kid/So I've been scheming like a criminal ever since/To make them love me and make it seem effortless'This this the first time I've felt the need to confess/And I swear/I'm only cryptic and Machiavellian 'cause I care'"
All too well "And you call me up again just to break me like a promise""And there we are again when nobody had to know/You kept me like a secret, but I kept you like an oath/Sacred prayer and we'd swear""The idea you had of me, who was she?/A never-needy, ever-lovely jewel whose shine reflects on you" [Mirrorball & Blank space ref- chameleon?] You are in love "You keep his shirt, he keeps his word/And for once, you let go/Of your fears and your ghosts/One step, not much, but it said enough" [Trust & belonging/home]
I'm not familiar with their whole catalogue or others around them (or their influences). Kinda wondered if HS listened to Def Leppard? I remember TS did a CMT crossover episode with them. Their bootleg album Rare Gems, Vol. 6 had one of the songs she covered w/ them- Pour some sugar on me. Mutt Lange produced DL & (his ex-wife) Shania Twain's albums also.
I enjoyed all your thoughts on these. Thank you 😊

Book One: Tao Te Ching
Pinanghawakan ko ang Hotdog ko.
Wait, parang ang sagwa pakinggan.
Pinanghawakan ko ang pagiging Hotdog ko.
Puwede na. Okay.
I was in Grade Two when everyone officially named me Hotdog. I still write my Carlisle Arjeantine name kapag kailangang isulat, but nickname? Hotdog talaga.
I was Hotdog Mendoza way back then. To be honest, hindi siya weird na nickname, because I had a classmate, and she was named as Kukay. I found Hotdog a bit presentable than Kukay during those days.
I was enjoying being Hotdog in an empirical manner when I realized, there was nothing special about being Hotdog.
First Year High School, ang random ng thought, everyone knew me as Hotdog while some called me Arjan. My mom used to call me Cali, and it was confusing me in another level kasi hindi ko alam kung ano ang dapat itawag sa akin.
You had a freaking name, and it was legally applied, and no one wants to use it for you, even yourself.
Same kay Kukay. Ang real name niya, Angelica Marie Joy R. San Vicente. But no one called her Angelica or Marie or Joy, or any of it but Kukay. Like, dude, for real?
Symbolic for me ang nickname na Hotdog kasi sobrang rare kong kumain ng hotdog kahit noong bata pa ’ko. Laging cheesedog. So, I asked my dad some time when I was six, “Pops, bakit may ganito na white sa hotdog?”
It was a white, gewy substance, dripping at the tip of the hotdog. And damn, it sounded so not safe for work, but it was.
“Cheesedog naman kasi ’yan, hindi ’yan hotdog,” sagot ni Popsky.
“Bakit po may cheese?”
“Kasi special kapag may cheese. Kapag, wala, common hotdog lang siya.”
Intrusion! Intrusion!
But yes, it was a sudden flashback during my childhood days na kapag may cheese, special.
Ang bibingkang may cheese, special.
Ang ensaymadang may cheese, special.
Ang putong may cheese, special.
Ang burger na may cheese, special.
There might be something about cheese that makes everything so special.
“Kaya pumayag kang maging Cheesedog?”
Ah! My mind was wandering around, kausap ko nga pala si Jazmin pero Z.
“Cheesedog is a good source of discussion, anyway,” sagot ko.
Jazmin pero Z is my student. Humanities class.
Well, she’s . . . she’s interesting. Very . . . interesting in a sense that she found me in a place where no one wants to look for me.
There’s something about the timing na hindi ko ine-expect. There’s something about the idea na ang sarap i-look forward because someone found you where you’ve been.
She’s cute. I like her eyes. Madaldal.
“Because I want you, guys, to understand that book?”
“Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu,” pagbasa niya sa librong pinababasa ko sa buong klase for a reflection paper. “The Book of Way.”
Her name is Cherminne. I was nineteen when I first found this.”
Ako pa ang nagbuklat ng page at ipinakita ang bookmark ko roon sa page na may memorable line for me.
“We wu wei,” nakangiting sabi ko. “When nothing is done, nothing is left undone. Kung wala kang ginawa, meron kang ginawa. Wala nga lang.”
Napapangiti siyang nagtakip ng noo at parang nahihiya sa sinabi ko, umiiling pa. “Puwede bang bumalik na lang tayo kung bakit ka naging si Cheesedog, sir?”
It was fascinating, for me. Si Ate Cherminne kasi, virtual assistant siya. Sobrang broad ng pagiging VA, and I was a student way back then. She has an expressive eyes, and she looked at me like she was reading me until the very fiber of my existence.
And nineteen years old wasn’t that old enough to know something about life in general. And she’s double my age.
Ate Cherminne and I were on the same table, and she was reading that book habang naghihintay ako sa kanya. We had a small talk, some questions about life, as in sobrang random na hindi naman normally pinag-uusapan ng dalawang taong hindi rin naman magkakilala.
She asked, “Tingin mo, simple lang ang buhay?”
I answered, “Yes po.”
She smiled at me. “Why?”
“Simple lang ang life because it’s more of living and knowing why you live?” hindi sure na sagot ko.
“If simple lang, bakit mahirap maging masaya?”
“Hmm.” I really thought about that part. “Subjective po siguro ang happiness. Siguro nakadepende ’yon sa source of happiness nila kaya mahirap.”
“So, dahil ba sa constant craving nila for something they do not have, kaya mahirap maging masaya?”
“Kung happiness po ng ibang tao ang magkaroon ng maraming pera pero tambay lang po sila, mahirap po talaga. O kaya kung gusto nila ng T-Rex.”
Tinawanan lang ako ni Ate Cherminne sa sagot ko.
But really, isa ’yon sa mga tanong sa mundo na madali sanang sagutin kung pare-pareho lang ang meaning ng happiness para sa lahat.
Maybe it was about that constant craving gaya ng sabi ni Ate Cherminne, or maybe it was about the contentment na kung enough for you ang kung anong meron ka, you’ll feel happy kasi satisfied ka na. You don’t have to crave for more, you don’t have to ask for anything else.
Maybe it was about perspective, depende kung saang side ka tumitingin.
“When people see some things as beautiful, other things become ugly. When people see some things as good, other things become bad,” pagbasa ni Jazmin sa isang page ng book. “Ang philosophical nitong book, parang nakakabobo basahin, sir. Parang gets ko na parang hindi.”
“Pero ikaw, ano ang definition mo ng happiness?” usisa ko habang tinititigan siya.
“Hmm. Quiz ba ’to? May score ba ’to, sir? Exempted na ba ’ko kapag sinagot ko?”
Tinuktukan ko siya ng sign pen sa ulo bago ko binalikan ang lesson plan ko. “Magbasa ka na lang.”
“Ang definition ko ng happiness, sir, kapag busog ako, hahaha!” biglang sabi niya kaya napasulyap ako. Hawak-hawak na naman niya ang bookmark na iniwan ko roon. “Cheesedog Was Here.”
“Ibalik mo ’yan, ha?” utos ko.
“Opo, ito na po, ibabalik na.” Isinilid niya ulit ang bookmark sa page ng libro. “May favorite quote ka rito sa book, sir?”
“Meron,” sagot ko, sinusundan ng tingin ang ginagawa niyang paglipat sa libro.
“Natatandaan mo pa?”
“Yeah. I am different from ordinary people.”
Bigla siyang tumawa sa ’kin. “Ang GGSS! Legit ba?”
Ako naman ang napangiti sa kanya. “Joke lang, ang bilis mong maniwala.”
“Kaya ko nga tinanong kung legit ba. Grabe siya, ha. Pero seryoso, natatandaan mo pa?”
“Yep!” Tumango naman ako. “If you want to become whole, let yourself be partial. If you want to become full, let yourself be empty. If you want to be reborn, let yourself die. More like if you want to be one, become one.”
“Sir, hindi na makatao subject mo. Nakakabobo na, ha. Hindi pa nga ako nakaka-recover sa I exist; therefore, I am mo. Sumisingit ka pa ng nakakasira ng utak.”
“Mag-aral ka kasing mabuti.”
“Business naman kasi kinukuha ko, sir, hindi naman philo. Uy, meron pang isang bookmark. Taray!”
Dinampot niya agad ’yon, pero kaiba sa bookmark ko, pilas lang ’yon ng papel na sinulatan.
“Every moment that passes by is a new piece of time, a new chance to make things right as they were before, a new start to do good as it was written for us long ago. Every life has an opportunity to change its ways if it wants to be happy again,” pagbasa niya roon. “Buti pa ’to mabilis arukin. Wala ka bang ganito, sir? Kaysa yung one plus one mo.”
“Hahaha! Magbasa ka na. Ikaw una kong tatawagin bukas sa recitation.”
“Hoy! Namemersonal ka na!”
“Hahaha!”
Life is composed of simple things that make us happy. A simple joke, the laughter of a cute kid, a short conversation with someone you adore, a cute toy. And I guess it wasn’t complicated at all. We just have to look at it as something worth its existence.

Lyrics:
We live in a greedy little world,
That teaches every little boy and girl
To earn as much as they can possibly,
Then turn around and spend it foolishly
We've created us a credit card mess
We spend the money that we don't possess
Our religion is to go and blow it all
So it's shopping every Sunday at the mall
All we ever want is more
A lot more than we had before
So take me to the nearest store
Can you hear it ring
It makes you want to sing
It's such a beautiful thing, ka-ching
Lots of diamond rings
The happiness it brings
You'll live like a king
With lots of money and things
When you're broke, go and get a loan
Take out another mortgage on your home
Consolidate so you can afford
To go and spend some more when you get bored
All we ever want is more
A lot more than we had before
So take me to the nearest store
Can you hear it ring
It makes you want to sing
It's such a beautiful thing, ka-ching
Lots of diamond rings
The happiness it brings
You'll live like a king
With lots of money and things
Let's swing
Dig deeper in your pocket
Oh, yeah, ha
Come on, I know you've got it
Dig deeper in your wallet
Whoa
All we ever want is more
A lot more than we had before
So take me to the nearest store
Can you hear it ring
It makes you want to sing
It's such a beautiful thing, ka-ching
Lots of diamond rings
The happiness it brings
You'll live like a king
With lots of money and things
