It’s my birthday this week which got me thinking about all the kids having to celebrate their birthdays under lockdown. If that’s your child/niece/nephew/grandchild then send me a DM, and I will try my best to create a custom Insta-birthday message with their name. Here’s how it will work: 1. You send me a message with their name(s)—hopefully several days in advance. 2. I will illustrate a custom insta-birthday message for your child and post it on Instagram on their birthday—tagging you so you’ll be notified. (If I get a flood of requests then I may have to pick and choose since I’ll probably only be able to handle 1-3/day. I may also re-use artwork depending on my availability). 3. That’s it! You can print it out if you want. Just don’t sell the artwork as your own. It’s all free! I just want to do my part in spreading joy during these tough times. It’s also my way of giving back to the amazing parents out there who are working their tails off trying to stay positive for their kids—all while working from home and keeping up with their kids’ education. I can’t imagine how hard that would be right now. I salute you. I’ll be doing this on a week-by-week basis depending on how many requests I get, and depending on my workload. Also, if you have a child who had a birthday in the last couple weeks still let me know and I’ll see if I can create a custom belated-birthday message for him/her.
