I Know Love Pt.1
Tumblr media
Pairing: Lando Norris x Piastri!sister reader
Summery: Lando has always been a friend, her brother’s easygoing, fun-loving teammate. But when a fleeting moment in the garage—a near fall, a steadying touch—sends an undeniable spark through her, she starts to see him in a different light. And she’s not the only one. Oscar notices the shift, and he’s not thrilled.
Standard disclaimer: I do not consent to the posting, translating, or publishing of my work to any 3rd party site, the only place it may found is on tumblr or A03 under the same name. A/N: Wow a Lando fic? who am I?
Tumblr media
The McLaren garage was a controlled storm of movement—mechanics tightening bolts, engineers huddled over screens, the scent of fuel and rubber thick in the air. It was a world she had always been a part of, but this year, it was different. This year, she wasn’t just Oscar Piastri’s sister. She was an engineer. Fresh out of university, she had spent the last year interning with McLaren while finishing her degree. Now officially part of the team, she was living the dream she had worked for—traveling with one of the most competitive teams on the grid, analyzing data, working with some of the brightest minds in motorsport. And yet, as she stood in the garage, taking in the organized chaos around her, she couldn’t shake the feeling that she was being watched.
She didn’t have to look to know who it was.
Lando Norris.
He was perched on the edge of a workbench, race suit tied around his waist, arms crossed as he half-listened to an engineer briefing him about car setup. But his eyes—those sharp green eyes—kept flickering toward her. He had been doing that a lot lately. She tried to ignore it, just like she had ignored the lingering glances, the subtle teasing that felt just a little too personal, the way he always managed to be near her, even when there was no real reason to be.
Lando had been in her life since Oscar signed with McLaren. She had known him as her brother’s teammate, as the guy who spent way too much time in their apartment, as the one who dragged Oscar into ridiculous online challenges and way too many rounds of golf. But now?
Now she wasn’t just Oscar’s little sister who tagged along to races. She was a part of this team. She was someone Lando wasn’t supposed to flirt with, wasn’t supposed to look at like that.
And yet, here they were.
“Hey, rookie!” She turned at the sound of Oscar’s voice, watching as her brother waved her over from across the garage. She rolled her eyes at the nickname. He was already half-suited up, looking effortlessly in his element, the Piastri name printed proudly across his back. “Can you grab the updated telemetry from the board? We need to go over it before FP2.”
“On it,” she called back, already moving. The responsibility of being part of McLaren, of making real contributions to the car’s performance, was still something she was adjusting to. But she was good at her job. She had worked too hard, spent too many late nights studying aerodynamics, data analysis, and race strategy, to be seen as just Oscar’s sister. She was here because she had earned it. Navigating the crowded garage, she focused on her task—until the moment she didn’t. Her foot caught on a thick cable running across the floor, and before she could react, she was falling. A sharp gasp left her lips, but before she could hit the ground, strong hands grabbed her, pulling her back against a solid chest.
Everything stilled.
A familiar scent of cologne and race fuel filled her senses. A steady grip held her firmly, keeping her upright. She knew exactly who it was before she even turned her head. Lando. His hands lingered on her waist for a moment too long before he finally loosened his grip. “You alright?” he asked, voice lower than usual, his breath warm against her cheek. Her heart was hammering in her chest—not from the fall, but from this. From him. She straightened quickly, trying to ignore the heat crawling up her neck. “Yeah, I just—” she exhaled, forcing a light laugh, “—was testing gravity. Works great, in case you were wondering.”
Lando smirked, the familiar mischief flickering in his expression. “Good to know. Maybe try not to test it in the middle of a race garage next time?” She rolled her eyes, brushing herself off. “I’ll keep that in mind.” But then, his voice dropped slightly, softer, more serious. “Careful, though,” he murmured. “I’m not always around to catch you.” And just like that, the teasing edge was gone, replaced by something heavier, something unspoken.
Her breath hitched slightly, her brain scrambling for a response, but before she could find one, Oscar’s voice cut through the moment. “What the hell was that?” She spun around to see her brother standing a few feet away, arms crossed, brows raised. Lando immediately stepped back, clearing his throat and running a hand through his hair like he hadn’t just been holding her like that. “Nothing,” she said quickly, shooting Oscar a look. “I just tripped.”
Oscar’s gaze flicked between her and Lando, his expression unreadable before he exhaled, shaking his head. “Right. Well, try not to break anything before FP2, yeah?” She gave a mock salute. “No promises.” As Oscar walked away, she turned back to Lando, expecting another smirk, another teasing remark. But he was already looking at her—like he was thinking about something he wasn’t saying. She should have walked away. Should have ignored the way her stomach flipped. Should have reminded herself that this was a bad idea. But instead, for a split second, she let herself wonder.
What if?
The garage was alive with movement—mechanics fine-tuning the car, engineers cross-referencing data, the rhythmic hiss of drills filling the air as tire changes were simulated over and over. It was the kind of organized chaos she had come to love, the pulse of an F1 weekend beating strong around her. And yet, she felt… off. She was supposed to be locked in, completely focused. But ever since yesterday—since him—something had changed. It wasn’t anything obvious. Lando still moved through the garage like he always did—laughing with the team, listening to the engineers break down data, cracking jokes to lighten the mood. To anyone else, nothing was different. But she knew better. It was the way his eyes flickered toward her across the room, how he never seemed to look away fast enough. It was the way his presence felt closer— lingering near her workstation when he never used to before, standing just a little too near whenever she was giving Oscar or the engineers updates. And it was in the way she noticed him more now, too. She wasn’t blind—Lando had always been easy to look at, and plenty of girls did. She had spent years rolling her eyes at every new headline linking him to a model or influencer. It had never mattered before. So why did she care now?
She was deep in concentration, reviewing telemetry for the upcoming session, when Lando’s voice cut through the hum of the garage. "Whatcha looking at?" Before she could answer, he leaned down over her chair to glance at the screen, one hand bracing against the desk beside hers. His arm brushed against her shoulder, his body heat close enough that she could feel it even through the fabric of her team shirt. Her fingers tensed on the keyboard. She glanced at him from the corner of her eye, trying to keep her voice steady. “You suddenly care about telemetry when we aren’t in a debrief?”
Lando smirked. "I care about looking fast. And if you have some secret data to make that happen, I should probably know about it." She rolled her eyes but didn’t push him away. “If you’re looking for extra speed, maybe listen to your engineers instead of flirting with them.” His smirk deepened. “Who said I was flirting?” She turned her head then, her breath catching slightly at how close he was. Their faces were only inches apart, and there was something unreadable in his expression. A flicker of amusement, yes—but also something heavier, something deeper than his usual teasing. For a split second, neither of them moved. Then, just as quickly as he had leaned in, Lando straightened, grabbing a water bottle from the table like nothing had happened. “See you out there, rookie.” And just like that, he was gone, leaving her heart racing in his wake.
In the engineering office during a quiet moment between FP3 and qualifying. She was sitting at her workstation, buried in a complex set of calculations, when she heard it— Her name. Soft. Slow. Amused.
"Hey, you."
She glanced up and, of course, it was him. Leaning against the desk next to hers, looking far too relaxed for someone about to drive a car at 200 miles per hour. And then he did it again. Said her name, except this time, there was something in the way he dragged it out, a teasing lilt at the end that made her stomach flip against her will. She swallowed, trying to keep her voice level. “What do you want, Norris?” His smirk deepened, and she instantly regretted saying his name. “Just checking in,” he said, rocking slightly on the balls of his feet. “You seemed stressed earlier.” She huffed, turning back to her screen. “I’m fine.”
“You sure?” he asked, his voice dipping lower, quieter. She clenched her jaw. Focus. Focus. But then he leaned down, elbows on the desk, close enough that she caught the clean, fresh scent of him—something woodsy and warm that made her thoughts scramble. He tapped a finger against her laptop. “You work too hard.” She forced a scoff. “I think that’s a prerequisite for working in F1.”
“Doesn’t mean you should forget to have a little fun.” She turned to him, arching an eyebrow. “And I suppose you’re offering?” He grinned. “Maybe.” Her pulse spiked. It was dangerous how easy this was for him.
She thought she was done for the night. She thought she’d made it through without anything happening—without slipping up, without letting whatever this was get to her. But then she stepped into the hotel elevator and the doors started to slide shut, only to be stopped by a hand catching them. Lando. Of course. He slipped in, the doors closing behind him, and suddenly it was just the two of them in the small, enclosed space. And there it was again—that feeling, that unshakable sense that something had changed. They stood in silence for a moment as the elevator started its slow climb. Then Lando spoke, his voice quieter now, almost contemplative. “You’re avoiding me.” She inhaled sharply, keeping her eyes locked on the floor numbers slowly lighting up. “I have not been avoiding you.” Lando scoffed, leaning against the wall, arms crossed. “Oh, really?”
“You’re just in my space more,” she shot back. His lips quirked, but his eyes were serious. “Maybe.” Silence stretched between them. She could feel the weight of it pressing against her chest, thick and heavy. Then, he leaned in slightly. Not close enough to touch, but close enough that his voice was meant just for her. “You know I see you watching me, too, right?” She inhaled sharply. Heat crept up her neck, and she cursed her own reaction. “Don’t flatter yourself.” Lando let out a low chuckle, shaking his head and stepping into her space. “I think you like me.” Her jaw clenched. “You’re an idiot.”
“Not denying it, though.” She glared at him, her heart hammering against her ribs. But before she could snap back, the elevator dinged, she instinctively stepped away from him and the doors slid open to reveal Oscar standing on the other side. His eyes flicked between them, sharp and questioning. Lando didn’t move for a moment, as if debating whether to push just a little further, but then he stepped back further with a knowing smirk. “See you tomorrow, then,” he murmured before walking past Oscar with an easy nod, disappearing down the hall. She exhaled, realizing just how tightly wound her body had been. Oscar, still holding the door open, gave her a look. She rolled her eyes. “Oh, shut up.” He didn’t say anything, but she felt his judgment.

A Silent Connection
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yn had never been one for the spotlight, much like her brother Lando. While he thrived in the chaos of the Formula 1 world, cracking jokes and charming everyone around him, Yn was content to sit in the background, quietly observing, far more interested in watching the cars roar past than in the whirlwind of media, fans, and endless chatter.
She’d always been a little shy, a bit introverted. As a result, the paddock felt like an overwhelming place to be. She only had one person to lean on: Lando. He was her anchor. They’d grown up together, and even though they’d both grown up in the fast-paced world of racing, Lando was the only person Yn felt truly at ease with. So, when he invited her to spend time at a Grand Prix, she didn’t hesitate. It was easier for her to be around familiar faces, the ones who understood her need for space.
However, this particular weekend at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, things were about to change in the most unexpected way.
---
It was a quiet morning at the paddock. Lando had gone off for a meeting with his engineers, leaving Yn alone on the couch in the McLaren hospitality area. She was sipping her coffee, gazing at the monitors around her that showed various bits of the weekend's events. The usual buzz of the paddock filled the air — the low hum of mechanics working on cars, the excited chatter of team members — but to Yn, it felt like all of that noise was in the background, fading into nothingness.
She had found a corner to nestle into, out of sight, where she could drink her coffee in peace. She’d done this countless times, sitting quietly and observing her brother’s world from a distance. But today, she wasn’t the only one sitting in the corner.
The door to the lounge opened quietly, and someone walked in. Yn glanced up to find Oscar, the young Australian driver, who had just joined McLaren that year. He looked around for a seat and, seeing the empty space next to Yn, he slid into the couch next to her without a word.
Yn, startled by his sudden presence, looked over at him. He was sipping his own coffee, staring blankly ahead at the monitors, his usual calm demeanor settling around him. She didn’t mind the silence. In fact, she liked it. There was no pressure to talk, no need for awkward small talk. Just the comfortable sound of people moving around them, the occasional chuckle of engineers, and the faint noise from the track outside.
Oscar, sensing her gaze, gave her a brief, polite smile. She smiled back shyly but didn’t say anything. He seemed to understand that she wasn’t much for words, and he didn’t push.
For the next hour, they sat there in perfect silence, each with their coffee, neither of them feeling the need to fill the air with conversation. For the first time in a long while, Yn felt a sense of peace. She didn’t feel judged or expected to speak. She could just… exist.
The moment was simple but profound, and it became something they both began to look forward to. Every time Yn visited the paddock in the following weeks, Oscar was there. It became their routine: he would quietly enter, glance at her, and then take a seat beside her. They would drink their coffee in silence, occasionally exchanging a nod or a smile, but mostly just enjoying the calm company.
---
It wasn’t long before Lando noticed the change in his sister. While Yn had always been content to stick by his side, she was beginning to spend more time in the lounge with Oscar. At first, he’d assumed it was just a coincidence, maybe they were talking strategy or something related to the racing side of things. But then he saw it for himself one day — the two of them sitting there together, silently enjoying their drinks, looking comfortable in each other’s company.
“You’re spending a lot of time with Oscar lately,” Lando remarked one day, raising an eyebrow as he slid into the seat across from Yn and Oscar.
Yn’s cheeks flushed slightly, but she only shrugged, her usual reserved nature still evident. “He’s… nice to be around,” she said quietly, looking down at her coffee cup.
Lando chuckled, not surprised by his sister’s understated response. He knew Yn well enough to know that “nice was about as much as she’d give away. He didn’t mind, though. In fact, he was happy. Yn had always been so shy around everyone, and now she had found someone she could spend time with without feeling pressured. He had always wanted her to feel more comfortable in the paddock, and Oscar was a good friend — even if he wasn’t the most extroverted person, either.
Oscar, sitting beside Yn, shot Lando a casual smile. “We don’t talk much, but she’s good company. It’s… easy to be around her.”
Lando grinned. “I’m glad to hear that, mate. You’re welcome to hang out with her whenever you want. Just don’t steal her away from me completely.”
Yn’s face flushed again, but she didn’t say anything. She liked how easy it was to be with Oscar. Unlike the other drivers who constantly tried to engage her in conversation or expect her to join in their chaotic paddock discussions, Oscar didn’t push. He never tried to draw her out of her shell, never made her feel like she had to talk. He simply existed in the same space as her, and that was all she needed.
---
As the weeks went on, the friendship between Oscar and Yn grew. It wasn’t loud or attention-grabbing, but it was real. Whenever she had a free moment, Yn would be found with Oscar, sitting side by side, watching the monitors or sipping on their coffees in the lounge. It was a quiet companionship that seemed to suit them both perfectly.
Oscar, who had always been a bit reserved, found himself becoming more outgoing around Yn. It wasn’t that she asked him to, but somehow, his presence around her made him feel more comfortable, more willing to open up. It wasn’t like he was suddenly a social butterfly, but he’d start offering her small bits of conversation, teasing her gently, and making her smile. She didn’t feel like she had to respond, but she appreciated it all the same.
“You’re not as quiet as you used to be,” Lando said one day, his grin wide as he watched Oscar try to make his sister laugh.
Oscar shrugged sheepishly. “Maybe I’m just getting used to the silence,” he said with a grin. “It’s nice.”
Yn, for her part, didn’t mind it at all. She liked how Oscar had become a bit more expressive for her. It was like he had learned how to communicate in the way she preferred — without overwhelming her with noise or pressure.
---
The other drivers began to notice the growing bond between Oscar and Yn. They couldn’t help but feel a bit jealous, especially since Yn rarely spoke to them. Even the more talkative ones, like Max and Charles, found it a little odd that she seemed to reserve her energy for Oscar. It was clear that they were becoming friends, and the rest of the paddock wasn’t quite sure how to react.
“Have you noticed how quiet she is around us?” Max asked Charles one day, watching from the sidelines as Oscar and Yn exchanged a few words before falling back into their familiar silence.
Charles nodded. “Yeah, it’s like she only talks to Oscar now. It’s… strange.”
Lando, overhearing their conversation, couldn’t help but laugh. “Relax, guys. She’s not interested in being the life of the party. She’s got her own thing going with Oscar, and that’s cool with me. I’m just happy she’s found someone she can be herself around.”
Max and Charles exchanged glances. Maybe they were just a little envious that Yn, usually so shy, had managed to form such a quiet but solid bond with someone. But Lando was right — it wasn’t about stealing attention. It was about finding peace.
---
In the months that followed, Oscar and Yn continued to sit in their corner of the paddock, side by side, silent but comfortable. Lando was happy that his sister had found someone who understood her, and the drivers, while a little envious, began to understand the unspoken connection between the two.
It was simple. It was quiet. But for Yn and Oscar, it was exactly what they both needed.

would you consider doing part 2 to the crash where the boys reunite with reader??
you’re everything that i want
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: oscar piastri x f2 driver!reader, lando norris x sister!reader note: part two to this.
content warnings: mentions of hospitals, injuries and a crash.
Tumblr media
the hospital hallways stretch endlessly, each corner looking the same as the last. lando and oscar are rushing, a mutual feeling passing through them as they practically run through the busy hospital. but as they finally reach the door to your room, a heavy silence settles between them.
they know you’re stable, but that word had never felt more fragile. the crash, the screaming sirens, the gut-wrenching wait—they had both been on the edge of losing you, and that fear still lingers, clawing at the back of their minds.
lando hesitates, his hand hovering over the door handle. he’s never been afraid of much, but right now, he’s terrified of what he’ll see on the other side. oscar watches him, his own face pale and tight, but it’s lando who finally pushes the door open.
the sight of you hits them both like a punch to the gut.
you’re there, in the middle of the sterile, white room, looking small and fragile against the stiff hospital sheets. wires snake around your body, connecting you to machines that beep steadily, and bruises cover your usually vibrant skin. but it’s your face—pale, tense, and etched with pain—that makes them both freeze.
lando’s breath catches in his throat. he’s seen you on the edge before—crashes, spins, close calls—but nothing like this. nothing that left you looking so broken. his eyes dart over every inch of you, searching for any sign of the sister he knows, but all he sees is pain and it crushes him.
oscar takes a shaky step forward, his heart lodged somewhere in his throat. you’ve always been the strong one, the fearless racer who never backed down, but the way your face contorts with pain as you struggle to take a breath sends a jolt of terror through him. he’s seen you battle opponents on the track, but now, you’re fighting something invisible and relentless, and he feels powerless to help.
you look up as they enter, your expression caught between relief and agony. “hey,” you whisper, trying to sound normal, but your voice trembles, thin and strained. it’s a sound they’ve never heard from you before, and it shatters whatever composure they were clinging to.
lando reaches you first, his eyes glassy as he tries to keep it together. he grabs the nearest chair and sits down, taking your hand in his, squeezing it as if he’s trying to ground himself, too. “you’re okay,” he says, but his voice wavers, thick with emotion. “you’re… you’re going to be okay.”
oscar stands frozen at the foot of your bed, swallowing hard as he takes you in. seeing you like this, in so much pain, makes his stomach twist violently. he wants to say something—anything—but words feel stuck in his throat. all he can do is watch, his eyes filled with fear and helplessness.
you try to smile, but it quickly turns into a grimace as another sharp wave of pain crashes over you. your breath hitches, and you grip the bedrails, your knuckles turning white. “it hurts,” you admit, voice cracking as tears pool in your eyes. “it hurts so much.”
lando’s face crumples, the sight of your tears breaking something inside him. he squeezes your hand tighter, his other hand gently brushing a tear off your cheek. “i’m here,” he says, his voice breaking. “we’re both here, okay? we’ve got you.”
oscar finally moves, his legs feeling heavy as he sits beside you on the bed. he gently takes your other hand, his touch light but firm and grounding. his eyes are locked on yours, filled with raw, unfiltered emotion. “we’re not going anywhere,” he says softly, his voice laced with a mix of fear and determination. “just breathe. we’ll get through this.”
you lean into him slightly, seeking his comfort even as the pain spikes again, sharp and unrelenting. oscar’s thumb rubs slow, soothing circles on the back of your hand, and he places a long, lingering kiss in your temple as if trying to share some of your burden. “i’m right here,” he murmurs, voice low and calming. “just breathe with me, okay? we’ve got you.”
lando’s other hand rests on your arm, rubbing gentle, reassuring circles. his eyes are glued to your face, his heart aching at every wince, every pained breath you take. “you’re the toughest person i know,” he says, trying to keep his voice steady even as his own tears threaten to spill. “if anyone can get through this, it’s you. and we’re going to be here every step of the way.”
you nod, feeling the burn of pain and the flood of emotions all at once, but their presence—their unwavering support—gives you something to hold on to. it’s enough to keep you breathing through the pain, knowing you don’t have to face it alone.
oscar presses a soft kiss to your forehead, his lips lingering once again as he fights to keep his own emotions in check. “we’ll get through this,” he whispers, his voice filled with quiet determination. “one breath at a time.”
and as you squeeze their hands tighter, you realize that’s all you need right now: lando’s steady words, oscar’s calming presence, and the unshakable reassurance that they’re here, right beside you.

lando stood nervously on the passenger seat, while you drove to the restaurant. he didn’t need to say anything for you to realize how insanely nervous he was.
you told him tonight was the night you would let everyone know what he actually meant to you.
you had been dating for a month and some days, and not telling anyone was crazy, in your perspective. you knew everyone would support you, but you were still a little apprehensive. after all, lando was oscar’s teammate, and you didn’t want to make things at work difficult for neither of them.
it was a good opportunity today because your whole family agreed to go out for dinner after a good home race for oscar. lando got a podium, oscar got fourth place. it was good for the team and for both drivers.
even though there was some controversy.
once you told him, the british immediately panicked. your family loved him, and he was aware, but he couldn’t shake this uneasy feeling.
seeing him so tense, you decided it was better if you drove. you were not completely normal about this either, but you felt this was way easier for you.
as you got closer to the restaurant, you felt like you needed to, at least try to, calm him down.
“they already love you, lan. it’s not like us being together changes their opinion about you.” you looked over at him as you parked the car.
he simply nodded, kissing the back of your hand after holding on to it for a while. you stood in the car a little more.
“you’re right. let’s go.” he finally told you.
you both walked together up to the table. oscar had his back to you, so you hugged him from behind. other members of the family smiled at lando’s figure behind you as you kissed oscar’s cheeks.
“you brought lando?” your mother asked, a smile plastered on her lips as she walked over to hug the british.
“yeah… hm. i wanted to tell you guys, something…” you started, making every one face you except your brother, who you were still holding. “well, me and lando, we are together.” you slowly let go of oscar as he turned around, a serious expression on his face. “as a couple, boyfriend and girlfriend…” someone let out an excited noise and all you could see were smiley faces.
“finally!” your dad said from across the table, coming closer right after and hugging lando in his own way.
the driver was clearly nervous, but way better then before. a soft smile in his lips as he looked over at you.
you looked at oscar, trying to get a reaction out of him and he simply smiled, nodded and whispered a ‘congratulations’ to both of you, before turning around to eat again.
you sort of expected a better reaction from your brother, maybe an excited one, maybe a protective one.
the aussie looked like he didn’t care enough to give it a minute of attention.
maybe it was just because today was supposed to be about him, and you ruined it. maybe he wasn’t so pleased to have lando as a brother-in-law. maybe he was just tired because of the race.
you didn’t give it too much thinking, you moved to his right, sat next to him with lando by your side, and ate. making conversation with everyone around and looking over to lando from time to time, to make sure he was doing okay.
that night, you got home with lando and received an extremely good feedback from your family. they loved norris, and were delighted to have him as a part of the family.
oscar, who didn’t seem to be so pleased, never texted you. you noticed it and found it strange, but once again thought there could be other explanations to it. not just that he abhorred the idea of you two together.
some weeks passed away and you were now on lando’s driver room. sitting on the edge of the couch, caressing his hair.
norris knew you loved formula one more than almost everything, so he made sure to have you there in japan with him, since oscar had already gifted his own passes.
your boyfriend looked over at you with a concerned look.
“hey, baby, have you talked to oscar after we told him we were together?” he asked, playing with the zipper of his race suit.
“i don’t think so.” you stopped to think, and realized you hadn’t indeed talked to him. which was odd, as you were always glued to each other. “i think he’s been pretty busy.”
lando hummed and you looked down at his face. “why?” you asked, he shook his head while looking at you.
“nothing, love. it just looks like he’s avoiding me.” with half-closed eyes, you hummed.
after all, your theory might not be wrong. maybe oscar didn’t like the idea of you and lando as more than friends.
“i’ll try to talk to him, lan.” you bent down to kiss his forehead. “you have free practice in a few minutes, don’t worry about this. it will be okay.”
he sat up and hugged you.
“i love you.” he smiled against your neck.
“i love you too. good luck, baby.” you smiled back, feeling his lips on the sensitive skin. he eventually got up and left the room. you stayed back a little to get his laptop and notebook, for after the fp sessions.
lando had two shitty sessions, finishing 10th in one and 12th in the other. on the other hand, oscar managed to pull some really good laps, finishing 8th and 1st.
your boyfriend got out of the car and looked over at you to let you know he was okay, as that was always a preoccupation, and talked with his mechanics, giving them feedback about the car and what could be improved.
oscar did the same thing, not taking so long because there wasn’t really much that the mechanics could do on his car.
piastri’s feedback after the first free practice helped him realize that the problem was how long he took to brake on the corners. improving that, he made an incredible fp2.
“osc, good job.” you smiled at your brother as he passed by. the aussie simply nodded his head before going into his driver room.
you thought of following him immediately and get things cleared out, but maybe you should just wait for lando. this was about him too, after all.
your family wasn’t here yet, because, except for your father, none of them actually liked formula one. they liked that your brother was brilliant doing it, but they didn’t really know anything or cared about the sport. so they only came for the race. never even qualifying.
your dad watched them from home, not wanting to leave your mother alone with all the hosting responsibilities.
once norris was freed, he walked up to you and held you in his arms.
“you were distracted out there.” you stated. the british let out a frustrated sigh.
“i know… it’s just the oscar situation. he’s one of my closest friends in formula one. i don’t want him to hate me.” you chuclked, pulling the man closer to you.
“he doesn’t hate you.” you commented. “let’s talk to him.” lando’s eyes widened and he pulled back to try and see if you were serious.
“now?” he asked and you nodded, grabbing his hand and pulling him though the garage until you reached oscar’s private room.
hearing a knock on his door, oscar ran to the door.
“hi?” he was confused with your presence. it wasn’t you he was waiting for.
“hey. i think we need to talk.” without asking for permission, you entered and dragged lando inside with you.
“we do, actually.” oscar states, closing the door and leaning against his table. lando took place on top of a balcony and you leaned against that same balcony, standing face to face with your big brother.
no one said anything for some seconds. trying to figure out what was the best way to start this important conversation.
“you guys should’ve told me.” oscar said, looking between the both of you. anyone who knew him could tell how hurt he was. his eyes reflecting it.
“we told you!” you remarked.
“yeah, after what? two months?” he sarcastically pointed out. “next time send me a letter, maybe it would be faster.” you rolled your eyes and lando stood still, understanding oscar’s side perfectly.
“this isn’t about you.” you said, lando touched your back gently, trying to calm you down.
“you are my sister, y/n! do you even know how much i care about this? you are my other half, the person i love the most in this whole entire world!” oscar’s voice rose a little as he spoke. “and lando, you are my friend! you both kept this from me and discarded me in the process. i was informed at the same time that auntie joannah was!”
you felt the urge to laugh at the mention of the old lady’s name, but kept your expression still. a little more saddened now that you were realizing just how big your mistake was.
“oscar…”
“no, y/n. let me finish.” he asked. you simply nodded, and he continued. his arms were crossed in front of his chest now and he had his race suit halfway down. “you have been distancing yourself and i have no idea of why. at first i thought you weren’t okay because of hate or how things were going with tennis, but you don’t seem very preoccupied with that, so i really don’t know.”
he takes a deep breath before speaking again. “i’m sure you had your reasons, but you’re my best friend, y/n, and constantly feeling like you don’t trust me anymore, or don’t consider me as you did before… it hurts.”
sadness embraces you as you listen to your brother. lando caresses your shoulder from behind you.
“maybe i should leave you two to talk, this is family matter.” the british suggests.
“you’re family.” both you and oscar say in unison. lando couldn’t help but feel his heart warm, smiling softly to himself as you think of some way to explain things to oscar.
“you know, i would have been your relationship’s biggest supporter if you had given me the chance.” oscar was the one to talk again, and you couldn’t hold back anymore. you needed to hug him, and so you did.
it was a clumsy hug, but it meant everything to you.
“i never meant to hurt you, osc.” you truthfully told him, feeling his grip tightening around you. “it was supposed to be a surprise…”
“what a fucking great way to do it.”
as you both hugged each other, lando watched from the balcony. he too was scared of losing oscar’s friendship, but he was sure that you would do the right thing, and sort things out.
“i never thought you would see this as a good thing. from the start, you and lando got along really really well, and i never wanted to get in the way of that, but i did not control it.” tears threatened to come out of your eyes at any time.
“when it happened, when we happened, i was terrified… but this was strong, i couldn’t stay away from him even if i tried. it was the kind of love you can not put down… and the idea seemed to be less and less terrifying.” you tried to explain. oscar payed close attention to every word you said, and lando, from the balcony, did the same thing.
it was the first time you opened up to someone other than your own figure in the mirror.
“and then i embraced this. this idea of being his, and then he asked me to be his girlfriend and i could never say no. i love him!”
you turn around to look at lando, who hugged his knees and smiled at you. oscar looked too and immediately realized that norris was the one for you. just by his eyes.
“but i still wasn’t prepared to tell you, because of every single devilish thought in my head. so i kept my distance because i know i wouldn’t be able to lie or hide anything from you. but i never, ever, stopped trusting you or considered you less.” you remarked. “you’re my osc, my big brother, you are my everything, and i’m sorry for not communicating.”
you could see in his eyes how hurt he was, and you hated to think it was all because of you.
“i’m sorry, oscar. i really am.”
“i like to know stuff. and i love you,” he pulls you into a real hug this time, allowing you to breathe freely again.
lando, who was still sat on the balcony, walked over towards you and stood next to you, watching the sibling moment with admiration in his eyes.
it was rare to find such a connection.
when you two pulled apart, lando finally broke his silence.
“hey, osco… i’m sorry too man. we both thought about surprising you, and i may have been a little more guilty than y/n there, because i didn’t want you to hate me for dating your sister.”
oscar smiled at the brit.
“i trust you with her, and i don’t hate you. but if you ever even think about hurting her...” lando nodded knowingly, and they touched hands.
“i would never. i really love her.” oscar pulled your boyfriend into a hug and you stood back, watching the two of them.
“i can see it.” oscar smiled as they pulled back.
lando ran his hand from behind your neck until he reached your shoulder, and pulled you close. he kissed the top of your head.
“i’m family now eh?” lando bragged and oscar rolled his eyes.
“don’t make me regret it.”

The hum of the Silverstone paddock filled the air, mixed with the sounds of rushing fans, tire changes, and radio calls. It was race weekend, and the energy was electric.
Lando was in his element, bouncing around the garage with the kind of confidence and ease that only came when it was home turf.
And of course, being his little sister and all, you were there in support no matter what. Perched on the edge of the chaos, offering quiet encouragement from the sidelines.
It was a proud moment for you as his little sister, but today, despite the cheers, your mind was elsewhere.
You had been in the paddock since early morning, trying to keep a brave face while your mind battled with the stress of university assignments piling up back home.
The constant juggling between being a supportive sister and keeping up with your academic commitments was starting to take its toll.
You had retreated to the sanctuary of Lando’s driver room for a moment of peace, hoping the quiet would give you a chance to center yourself.
With a laptop open in front of you, your notes scattered around, you furiously typed, unable to focus on anything other than the deadlines you were desperately trying to meet.
It wasn’t that you didn’t love the sport or being here for Lando, but the pressure was mounting. Your stomach churned, not from the excitement of the weekend, but from the looming weight of university demands.
The door creaked open, and you didn’t even look up. “Hey—” Your words faltered when you saw who had entered the room.
It wasn’t Lando.
Oscar stood there, his usual quiet demeanor tempered with concern.
You had always known there was something between the two of you.
Ever since Oscar became Lando’s teammate, the tension had been palpable. You had shared laughs, some late-night talks after races, and moments of shared understanding.
You were close, but never more than that. At least, you tried to convince yourself of that.
You both had a way of bantering and making each other laugh, but you’d never taken the leap into something deeper.
It was hard when you were his teammate’s little sister and when Oscar seemed so out of reach.
He, however, was not out of reach now. His eyes softened when they landed on you, hunched over your laptop in the driver’s room. He must have noticed the stress radiating from your posture.
He cleared his throat before taking a step inside.
“Oh, hey you alright?” His voice was warm, as if he knew exactly what was going on in your mind.
You straightened, trying to hide the frustration on your face, but you knew you didn’t fool him.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Just, um, university stuff,” You muttered, waving a hand dismissively. “I just need to finish this. I’ll be fine.”
Oscar leaned against the doorframe, watching you closely. “Have you been here this entire time? It’s mid day..”
You sighed, leaning back in your chair, the weight of the laptop heavy on your lap. “Yeah…” You answered. “It’s just that I’m so behind. I’ve got all these assignments due, and I’m freaking out.”
Oscar pushed off the doorframe and walked over to you. “Let me see.”
You hesitated, but Oscar, always the curious one, peered over your shoulder. His presence was calming, the familiar scent of his cologne mixing with the scent of fresh tires and the metallic tang of the track.
He stood close enough that you could feel his warmth, but not too close to make it awkward. You noticed how his eyes darted to your screen, scanning the notes you had scattered around.
“Need a hand?” He asked, his voice still soft but insistent.
You shook your head. “No, I can do it, it’s just… everything’s due at once, and it feels like I can’t catch up.”
Oscar didn’t say anything for a moment, just stood there in silence, thinking. Then, he reached out and gently closed the laptop. You blinked, surprised by the action. “Hey, no—dont,” you started, but Oscar shook his head.
“No,” He said, his tone a little firmer now. “Take a break. You’re not going to solve this by stressing yourself out here.”
You opened your mouth to argue, but Oscar wasn’t having it. He reached down and tugged at your wrist, coaxing you up from the chair. “Come on,” He said, guiding you toward the small sofa in the corner of the room.
“Relax for a minute.”
You followed him reluctantly, sinking into the cushions. Oscar sat down next to you, close but not too close. You both fell into a comfortable silence for a moment, the sound of distant chatter from the paddock filtering into the room.
But the stillness was only temporary. The air between you two seemed charged, something unspoken lingering.
You could feel his presence like it was pulling you in, his proximity making your heart beat just a little faster.
Oscar leaned back against the sofa, glancing over at you. “It’s important to take care of yourself,” He said, his voice low, yet full of meaning.
You glanced at him, caught off guard by the sincerity in his tone.
Your breath caught in your throat as you noticed the way his eyes met yours—steady, almost searching, as if there was something deeper there. A flicker of warmth spread across your chest.
“I know. I’ll be fine,” You muttered, but the words didn’t hold the same conviction as before. “Everything just feels like a lot right now, is all.”
Oscar’s lips twitched into a small smile, the corners of his eyes crinkling with the quiet amusement he often wore around you.
But this time, it felt different. More intimate.
He studied you for a second. “Want a hug?” He asked, his tone still gentle, but with that soft sincerity that made your heart stutter.
The offer was unexpected, but somehow, you couldn’t bring yourself to say no.
You nodded, the tension in your shoulders slowly melting as he wrapped his arm around you, pulling you into his side.
“I’m here if you need anything, you know...” He paused. “Me and Lando, yeah.” He quickly corrected himself.
You could feel his gaze lingering on you as he pulled away, heavy with something unspoken. His shoulder brushed yours, and despite the casual nature of the gesture, the touch felt electric.
You swallowed, trying to ignore the way your skin tingled at his closeness. “I’m not used to asking for help,” You admitted quietly.
Oscar didn’t reply right away. Instead, he tilted his head slightly, studying you with that thoughtful expression that you’d grown familiar with over the past months.
Then, after a long pause, he let out a quiet sigh.
“It’s okay to lean on others when you need it.”
The room seemed to close in around you, the words hanging in the air, and for a moment, you were lost in the intensity of it all.
There was a weight to his gaze now, something tender, as if he were offering you more than just comfort.
You couldn’t help but wonder if maybe—just maybe—he felt the same way you did.
Before you could respond, the door to the room swung open without warning, and in walked Lando. You froze, and Oscar quickly leaned back, putting more space between the two of you.
Lando stepped in, his usual smirk in place, but it faltered when he saw the situation.
“Oh,” He said, his voice rising in playful surprise. “Osc… was just looking for you?”
The aussie raised his brows. “You were?”
Lando’s gaze went back and forth between the both of you. “Yeah… They’re calling us for a quick briefing.. Uh—“ He cleared his throat. “Are you okay? What—what is all this…?” His forehead wrinkled as his eyebrows furrowed after glancing at you. His had gesturing between the two of you.
“I’m fine.” You brushed it off.
And Oscar, ever so calmly replied as well. “I was actually looking for you, but I found her stressing a little, so I stayed to make sure she’s alright.”
Lando looked between the both of you again , an eyebrow arched in mild confusion.
The wheels in his head started turning, but before he could say anything further, he noticed the look in your eyes—distant, tired, and a little overwhelmed.
Lando’s expression softened. “Right,” He said, walking in fully now but not pressing the issue. “Well.. You sure you’re alright?” He asked you, his voice more gentle now, a shift in tone from his usual teasing one.
You sighed, rubbing your face with both hands. “Yeah, I’m okay now. Just… a lot going on. School work and all,” You explained quietly, avoiding eye contact for a moment.
Oscar, who had already stepped back to give you some space, gave you a knowing look. “Think she just needed to step back and take a break.” He said, his voice soft with concern as his hand rested ever so near your own.. almost as if he wanted to hold
it. “Think you’ve calmed down a little though.”
Lando’s eyes lingered on you, his instincts as a big brother wanting to make sure you were really okay, but he seemed to read the situation.
He let out a breath and nodded, though his concern didn’t quite fade.
“Alright,” He said, voice still lighter but with a hint of that older brother protectiveness. “Just, you know, let me know if you need anything.”
You gave him a weak smile, nodding. “Thanks, Lan.”
Oscar, sensing it was time for him to step back, gave you a final, reassuring glance. “You’ll be alright here?” He asked quietly.
You nodded, offering a smile that was more genuine this time. “Yeah. Thanks, Oscar. Really.”
Oscar gave a soft nod, then turned toward Lando. “Ready?” He asked, his voice shifting to the casual tone they both shared.
Lando shot you one last look before following Oscar out the door, muttering something about getting back to the paddock.
The door clicked shut behind them, leaving you alone again in the quiet room, feeling lighter—comforted not only by Oscar’s support but by the way they both made sure you were okay before leaving.
And as you sat there, the tension between you and Oscar lingered in the air, but now it felt a little less uncertain.
He had been there when you needed it most—and, somehow, you knew he always would be.

i'm holding your hand when i'm saying this. as a veteran of rpf writing and shit-posting. the number one rule of rpf in any context is, do not make it the person's problem.
do not be in any driver's dms or anyone in their lives' dms (friends/families/significant others). if they stumble across it, that's fine. but don't be in their business and expecting a response. this also means not asking formula one as a organization if lestappen is real or whatever other ship. let's just have our fun and let the boys race, and we can all exist as a network. and YES, we've seen the posts that "hint" are lestappen or landoscar. but it's all tongue and cheek. this is not a reason to get in people dms about it. you should be writing for fans, not the crack the code if two people are fucking. - and if they are, good on 'em. it's not for us to know. we don't owe any driver of past, present or future's coming out. whenever or however that may be.
i know some folks are new to rpf, but please, please, please, remember that these are REAL people. and think about how you'd feel if people were sending you fan fiction of someone you loved and their teammate/rival. we can have our little fun on tumblr/twitter/ao3, but please don't be bringing it to the attention of these people. especially like siblings and partners, leave 'em out of it.

cowboys are so nice and cool I think instead of car racing the drivers should wear cowboy hats and ride horses and the horses should go on the podium too. yeahhh part 11/???

I Know Love Pt.2
Tumblr media
Pairing: Lando Norris x Piastri!sister reader
Summery: After a restless night haunted by Lando’s words and Oscar’s look, she throws herself into work, determined to push aside the growing tension. But a simple text from Lando—asking her to meet him before the driver briefing—shatters her fragile resolve. Against her better judgment, she goes. Before anything can happen, Oscar walks in.
Standard disclaimer: I do not consent to the posting, translating, or publishing of my work to any 3rd party site, the only place it may found is on tumblr or A03 under the same name. This is all fake. It does not reflect real people, real events or their actual actions or relationships.
Looking for more? I know Love Masterlist
Tumblr media
She barely slept. After the way last night unfolded—the elevator, the weight of Lando’s words, the knowing look Oscar gave her—her mind refused to shut off. It was stupid. So stupid. Because this wasn’t supposed to be a thing. She wasn’t supposed to feel her pulse quicken every time she thought about the way Lando had looked at her in that cramped elevator. She wasn’t supposed to replay his voice in her head, the way he had said, You know I see you watching me too, right? And yet, despite every effort to push it out of her mind, the thoughts followed her into the next morning.
She had a job to do today. That was all that mattered. She repeated that over and over as she got ready, as she made her way to the paddock, as she checked her emails and reviewed data for race strategy in the garage. But all of that resolve cracked the moment she got a text.
Lando: Come to my driver’s room before the briefing?
Her stomach flipped. She stared at the message for a few seconds longer than necessary before locking her phone and shoving it into her pocket. She could ignore it. She should ignore it.
Instead, twenty minutes later, she found herself standing outside his driver’s room, inhaling sharply before knocking twice. A beat of silence. Then— “Come in.”
The room was dimly lit, quiet. A stark contrast to the chaos of the paddock outside. Lando was sitting on the couch, dressed in his race suit but not fully zipped up, the fireproofs underneath slightly exposed. His curls were damp, probably from the pre-race warm-up, and his foot bounced slightly against the floor, like he had too much energy and nowhere to put it. She hesitated at the door. “You needed something?” His eyes met hers, and just like that, the air shifted. It wasn’t immediate, but slow—like a ripple of tension spreading between them. For a second, he didn’t answer. He just looked at her, like he was debating something in his head. Then, finally— “You okay?” The question caught her off guard. Her brows furrowed. “What?”
“Last night,” he clarified. “You jumped back as soon as the door opened.” She exhaled sharply, rolling her eyes as she folded her arms. “You’re really asking me about that now? On race day?” He leaned back against the couch, smirking slightly. “Just checking.”
“Jesus, Lando.” She let out a humorless laugh, shaking her head. “It was nothing. Can we drop it?” His smirk faltered just slightly, something unreadable flickering behind his eyes. “Was it?” He asked and her stomach twisted. She hated how easily he saw through her. How he managed to slip past every carefully constructed defense she put up like it was effortless. She swallowed, forcing herself to stay steady. “It doesn’t matter.” Lando hummed, unconvinced, but he didn’t push further. Instead, he patted the empty spot next to him on the couch. “Sit.” She hesitated. Her brain screamed at her to walk away. To focus. To not get distracted.
But then she sat down.
She didn’t know why—maybe curiosity, maybe stupidity, maybe the simple fact that she was already in too deep to pretend she wasn’t affected by all of this. Lando turned slightly toward her, draping one arm across the back of the couch, fingers idly tapping against the cushion behind her. “Just so we’re clear,” he murmured, voice quieter now. “You do know I was serious last night, right?” Her breath caught in her throat. She forced herself to keep her expression neutral. “Serious about what?” He let out a soft chuckle, shaking his head like she was being impossible. “About you watching me.” Her jaw clenched. “Lando.”
“What?” His lips quirked, but his eyes—God, his eyes—were sharp, searching. “You are watching me.” She exhaled slowly, willing herself to keep it together. “You’re impossible.”
“And you’re avoiding answering,” he countered easily. She turned to glare at him, expecting him to look smug, but when she met his gaze, there was something different there. Something serious. His voice softened. “I’m not trying to mess with you.” She swallowed hard. “Then what are you doing?” Lando hesitated. For the first time, he looked conflicted. Then, after a long pause— “I don’t know.” It was the honesty in his voice that did her in. Because suddenly, she felt it.
The shift. The weight of everything that had been building between them. The thing they had both been pretending wasn’t real for well over a year now, when it was so clearly real. Her heart pounded in her chest, her breathing unsteady. And for a second—a single, reckless second—she thought he was going to kiss her. The way he was looking at her, the way his eyes flickered down to her lips, the way his fingers twitched slightly against the cushion behind her— It was right there.
But then— A knock at the door.
Before she could move, before either of them could even process what was happening, the door swung open. Oscar. Her stomach dropped. Lando shot back like he’d been burned, his arm jerking away from her. His whole posture went stiff, a fraction of a second too late to be subtle. Oscar just stood there. Silent. Expression unreadable. But his eyes—his eyes—flicked between them, taking in the scene. Her, too close to Lando. Lando, looking like he’d just been caught red-handed. The tension was suffocating.
“What the fuck is going on?” Oscar’s voice was sharp, controlled—too controlled. She opened her mouth, but no words came out. Lando cleared his throat. “Nothing.” Oscar’s gaze snapped to him, sharp and cutting. “Nothing?” Oscar echoed, his voice deadly calm. His gaze flickered back to her, and she felt the weight of it pressing down on her chest. “Didn’t look like nothing.” Her stomach twisted. She needed to say something, to fix this before it spiraled into something worse. “We were just talking,” she said quickly, forcing her voice to stay steady. Oscar let out a sharp, humorless laugh. He shook his head, exhaling harshly before locking eyes with Lando again. “Didn’t take you long, did it?” Lando’s expression flickered, a brief moment of something unreadable crossing his face before he schooled it into something neutral. “What’s that supposed to mean?” Oscar scoffed, folding his arms. “You know exactly what it means.” Lando’s jaw tightened. “Mate—”
“Don’t.” Oscar’s voice was razor-sharp. “Don’t fucking mate me right now.” A beat of silence. Thick. Heavy. Unforgiving.
She hated this. Hated the way the energy in the room shifted into something ugly, something dangerous. Hated the way Oscar looked at Lando like he was the enemy. And most of all, she hated the way she didn’t know how to make it stop. Lando exhaled sharply, running a hand through his curls before sitting forward, resting his elbows on his knees. “You’re blowing this out of proportion.” Oscar’s eyes darkened. She knew that look. The one that meant he was one second away from saying something he wouldn’t be able to take back. So she stepped in before he could. “Oscar.” Her voice was firm, cutting through the tension. He didn’t look at her. She reached out, hesitating for only a fraction of a second before grabbing his arm. “Oscar.” That got his attention. His gaze snapped to hers, and for the first time, she saw it—
Not just anger. Not just frustration. But something else. Something that hurt. Her chest tightened. Oscar wasn’t just pissed off. He was worried. That realization made her throat tighten. She softened her voice. “It’s not what you think.” Oscar let out a slow, measured breath, like he was trying to keep himself in check. “Then what is it?” Silence. The kind that stretched too long. Because she didn’t have a good answer. His jaw clenched. “Yeah,” he muttered, shaking his head. “That’s what I thought.” And just like that— he turned and left.
She didn’t think. Didn’t pause, didn’t glance back at Lando, didn’t give herself time to consider what the hell she was doing. She just followed. “Oscar—” He kept walking. Quick, purposeful strides, tension radiating off of him like a storm she couldn’t escape. She picked up her pace, weaving past a few mechanics as they moved through the paddock. The garage was just ahead, but she wasn’t letting him disappear into work, not when she could feel the weight of whatever just happened pressing down on both of them. She reached out, grabbing his wrist. “Oscar.”
He stopped. Didn’t turn, didn’t look at her, just stood there for a beat, shoulders rising and falling with a sharp inhale. Then, finally, he faced her. The anger had dulled slightly, but it hadn’t disappeared. Instead, it simmered beneath the surface, coiled too tightly alongside something else—something heavier. “I’m not doing this with you right now.” Her jaw clenched. “Too bad.” Oscar exhaled sharply, shaking his head. “You—” He cut himself off, pressing his lips into a thin line before dragging a hand through his hair. “Do you even know what you’re getting yourself into?” She straightened. “There’s nothing to get into.” Oscar laughed. Short. Sharp. Disbelieving. “You really expect me to believe that?” His gaze burned into hers. “After what I just walked in on?” Her stomach twisted. She shook her head. “It wasn’t—”
“Don’t lie to me,” Oscar snapped, voice low but firm. “Not me.” Her breath caught. She exhaled slowly, running a hand down her face. “I’m not lying.” Oscar’s jaw tensed. “Then tell me the truth.” Silence. Because she didn’t know what to say. She barely knew what this thing with Lando was. And if she didn’t know, how the hell was she supposed to explain it to Oscar? Oscar must’ve seen the hesitation, because he shook his head, stepping back like he needed the extra space. “You need to stay away from him.”
Her head snapped up. “Excuse me?” His expression was set. Serious. Unmovable. “Lando,” he said, voice steady. “He’s bad news.” She scoffed. “Are you kidding me?”
“I’m not.” Oscar’s voice was sharp, cutting through any attempt to brush it off. “You know what he’s like.” Her stomach churned. She wanted to argue. Wanted to tell him he was wrong, that Lando wasn’t some reckless playboy looking for the next thing to entertain him. But the problem was— She didn’t know if she could. Because had she ever seen Lando in something real? Had he ever been the guy who stayed? Had he ever wanted to be? Oscar’s expression softened, just a fraction. “I know you think this is different.” She swallowed hard. “You don’t know what I think.”
“I do.” He let out a slow breath, gaze steady. “And I know you. I know you don’t do things halfway. You get invested.” She looked away, hating how easily he saw through her. Oscar sighed, rubbing the back of his neck before continuing. “I’m not saying he’s a bad guy. I like him. He’s my teammate. But he’s not—” He hesitated, like he was searching for the right words. “He’s not what you need.” Her chest tightened. “And what do I need?” she challenged. Oscar didn’t even hesitate. “Someone who’s all in.” The words landed harder than she expected. She exhaled sharply. “Oscar—” His jaw clenched, but his voice softened slightly. “I just don’t want to see you get hurt.”
The honesty in his words made her throat tighten. Because no matter how frustrated she was—no matter how much she wanted to snap back and tell him to stay out of it— She knew this wasn’t about control. It was about protecting her. Because Oscar knew what it was like to get burned. And he didn’t want that for her. She took a slow breath, forcing herself to meet his gaze.
“I hear you,” she said quietly. His shoulders relaxed, just a fraction. But it wasn’t a win. Because she didn’t say she agreed. And they both knew it. Oscar exhaled, nodding slightly before stepping back. “I have to get ready.” She nodded. And just like that, he turned and walked away. Leaving her standing there— Alone with the weight of everything he’d just said. And the terrifying realization that she didn’t know if he was wrong.

Enjoy reading and send some requests!!!

Proud big brother

Lando was bouncing with excitement as he led his six-year-old sister, Y/N, through the paddock at the Silverstone Grand Prix. It was her first time attending a race weekend, and he was beyond thrilled to have her here. He'd been talking about it for weeks, sending her little videos of the track, the car, and the crowd. He’d told her everything he could think of to help her understand what a race weekend was like.
Today, though, seeing her tiny hand in his, wide-eyed with awe as she looked around, he felt a mix of pride and protectiveness. He was determined to make this the best day ever for her.
Lando grinned as they entered the McLaren garage, and his engineer shot him a look of amusement, clearly surprised to see him accompanied by someone so small.
“Y/N, meet the team!” Lando gestured with a grand sweep of his hand. “These guys keep my car fast and safe.”
Y/N looked around with big eyes, giving a shy wave, which earned a couple of chuckles from the engineers.
Just then, Lando spotted Carlos walking by, and his face lit up. “Oh! Y/N, you have to meet Carlos.” He crouched down beside her, whispering, “He used to be my teammate, and he's one of the nicest guys on the grid.”
Y/N’s eyes sparkled with curiosity as Carlos approached, his expression softening immediately when he saw the young girl.
“Hola, Y/N!” Carlos crouched down to her level, extending his hand for a handshake. “I’m Carlos. I've heard so much about you already, niña"
Y/N giggled and shook his hand with both of hers, looking up at Lando as if to say, isn’t he cool?
Lando chuckled, ruffling her hair. “You know, Carlos is really fast too, just like me.”
“Like a race car?” she asked, eyes widening as she looked back at Carlos.
Carlos laughed. “Exactly like a race car. Maybe even faster than Lando.”
“Oh, we’ll see about that,” Lando teased, giving Carlos a playful nudge.
As they chatted, the crowd around them started to notice the heartwarming scene. Cameras from media outlets and phones of fans began focusing on the Norris siblings. Lando noticed the flashing cameras and shifted uncomfortably, glancing down at Y/N, who was too enthralled with Carlos’s explanation of “how to go fast” to notice.
Oscar walked over, intrigued by the gathering. “Who’s this?” he asked, bending down to give Y/N a warm smile.
Lando's eyes sparkled with pride. “This is my little sister, Y/N.”
Oscar’s face lit up as he crouched beside her. “Hi, Y/N. I’m Oscar.”
Y/N looked up at Oscar, studying his soft hair, and before anyone could say a word, she reached out and began gently petting his head as if he were a small animal. She tilted her head, seemingly fascinated by the texture.
Oscar froze for a second, clearly surprised, but then he let out a soft laugh. “Guess I have soft hair, huh?”
Carlos burst out laughing, clapping Lando on the shoulder. “Looks like you’ve got some competition here, Lando. She’s already got a favorite driver.”
Lando’s face flushed, caught between amusement and a sudden urge to shield his sister from all the cameras and teasing.
“Y/N, don’t bother him too much,” he said gently, giving her a small, protective smile. “Oscar needs to save his energy for racing.”
Y/N giggled and looked back at Oscar, who just winked at her, clearly enjoying the attention. Lando could feel the eyes of the media zooming in on their little interaction, the moment drawing attention from fans and reporters alike.
Max strolled over, smirking when he saw the scene. “So, this is the famous Y/N I’ve heard so much about?”
Y/N looked up, wide-eyed. “You’re the one who’s always beating Lanno!” she said with innocent frankness, making all the drivers burst into laughter.
Lando groaned, covering his face with one hand. “Thanks, Y/N. I feel the love.”
Max chuckled, bending down so he was eye-level with her. “You know, it’s only because I have more experience,” he explained, trying to keep a straight face. "And because I'm just a bit better than he is right now," he teased gently.
Y/N tilted her head, looking from Max to Lando. “Will you beat him, Lanno?”
Lando nodded, trying to sound confident, though he was smiling at her earnest expression. “Of course I will, Y/N. I’m going to win a championship one day.”
Y/N’s face lit up with excitement, and she threw her arms around him. “You’re my favorite driver, Lanno!”
The other drivers couldn’t help but chuckle at the sweet interaction. Charles had joined the group by now, observing everything with an amused smile.
“Don’t worry, Lando,” Charles teased, folding his arms. “Y/N’s loyalty clearly lies with you.”
“Yeah, for now,” Carlos chimed in, smirking as he watched her go back to petting Oscar’s hair. “But give her a couple more races with us, and she might just change her mind.”
Lando rolled his eyes, but there was a smile tugging at his lips. He gently tugged Y/N’s hand, leading her away from Oscar. “Alright, alright, don’t get too comfortable with my teammates. You’re here to support me, remember?”
Y/N nodded, but her attention was soon stolen by a nearby display of miniature cars in the McLaren hospitality area. She tugged on Lando’s sleeve, pointing at them with wide, sparkling eyes.
“Oh! Look, Lanno! Tiny race cars!”
Lando chuckled, letting her excitement distract him from his nerves about the media coverage. “Want to pick one out? Maybe we can find one that looks like my car.”
As she eagerly examined the toy cars, the other drivers exchanged grins, clearly entertained by Lando’s newfound protective side.
“Just wait until she wants to attend all the races,” Charles teased, nudging Lando. “You’ll be too busy babysitting to focus.”
“Right, and she’ll be rooting for Oscar,” Max added, giving Lando a playful shove.
Lando gave them all a playful glare. “You all wish,” he shot back. “She’s my number one fan, right, Y/N?”
Y/N looked up, clutching a toy car that she’d chosen. “Yep! Lanno is the best driver in the world!”
All the drivers exchanged looks of amusement, sharing a laugh, but Lando’s expression softened as he glanced down at his little sister. She didn’t understand the rivalry, the pressure, or the spotlight. To her, he was simply her big brother.
And in that moment, as he held her hand and watched her excitement, he realized that he wouldn’t trade this for anything.

Brotherly support... and teasing
Warnings: None
Word count: 850 words (I actually got a little carried away there at the end, and it's actually 891 words, so sorry!)
Requested: Yes
Reader could be Lando's little sister and it's just events where Lando is like playfully threatening Oscar but is like actually very supportive of the relationship and actually shipped it before it even happened. something like that please.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"So, when can I have the talk with him?" My dear old brother, Lando Norris, just casually asks me as we sit down to have dinner, wiggling his eyebrows and smirking lightly, "Lando!" I scold him as my head flicks up after placing my napkin on my lap. He just laughs.
This causes me to roll my eyes, used to this behaviour with him ever since his teammate, Oscar Piastri, and I, got together. Both of us honestly, and rightfully so, thought that the older boy was going to be pissed. Oh, how wrong we were.
He seemed, to excited, like he was planning stuff.

----- fan3 The perfect mix of chaotic and calm to level out our girlie
friend1 Still can't believe lando made you carry him
--- y/n_norris I know right, so rude
----- friend2 Very 😂
lando I swear to you, if you do not stop hugging my sister oscarpiastri, I swear
--- oscarpiastri You swear what mate?
----- lando I swear stuff that you do not need to know of right now. But know that I am watching your every move mate 😁
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hello there, love," I exclaim as I reach Oscar and give him a slight peck on the cheek, avoiding the way my brother is fake puking in front of us, "Not in public you two, you're going to embarrass me," he tells us both in that stern brotherly joking tone that he's loved to use lately as I roll my eyes.
Little did I know though, my Lando had actually been basically praying to the gods above to get me, his sister, and Oscar, his teammate together since almost as soon as the young Aussie joined McLaren in 2023.
Little did I know that was me and Oscar would express our dying love for each other to the English man, and even though he had found it quite cute to begin with, and actually did root for us, he just wanted it to stop.
Well, that didn't go to plan for him as now he gets more rants in, but, he can now tease us more than ever.
For example:
"So, you gonna steal my sister again over to your side of the garage, or am I not gonna have to fight you this time? Reminder, she is my blood," before chuckling to himself, patting the slightly nervous Aussie on the shoulder, and just, casually strutting away.
Another example:
"Might have to kick you out of the house soon if you keep kissing my sister mate," causing me to just swat him away with my hand as I snuggle up against Oscar and mumble, "No." Lando then gives Oscar a glare, but I can tell it's a playful one. I mean, he's not even that scary, to be honest.

"Might have to put a barrier between you both if this keeps going on," Lando speaks, all smug-like whilst leaning against the wall, "Oh, piss off Lando Norizz," I comment back causing him to gasp, hand on his heart in shock, jokingly.
Then, he speaks, "That's it, no more seeing him for the rest of the day! Come on Oscar, let's go talk to our team." And he walks off, making huge gestures, causing Oscar and me to roll our eyes before saying our goodbyes for now, and going our own ways.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"You're going to help me plan a date, with your sister?" Oscar comments to the British man in front of him, arms crossed, "Yes!" Lando responds, all jittery, "And you're not gonna kill me?" The Aussie questions, eyebrow raised.
"Oh, no, no, no, no, no! That, I'm going to do later! If you ever break her heart that is! Now, let me tell you everything about her-" Oscar cuts him off, "I practically know everything there is to know about her mate-" He then gets equally cut off, "No you don't! Not when I'm around! And besides, if you cut me off again, I'm not even going to allow this date to happen!" Lando explains, causing Oscar to just nod, uncertain.
"Alright, so, what do I need to do?" The Aussie asks, "Glad you asked!" Lando responds, all hyper fixated on making this his sister's best date yet!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note from author: I just wanted to quickly add that I just figured out how to put photos all grouped together! By accident! So now it doesn't look so clunky and I can add more to chapters and requests! Yay! Also, hopefully, this was good! Haven't written in a little, and haven't ever written a playfully threatening piece before, just so y'all know! Also, this will (hopefully) be my last author's note!

Riley Leclerc x TwinBrother!Charles Leclerc / YoungerBrother!Arthur Leclerc / F1 Drivers (angst/fluff ending)
───────────────────────
“We Got This”
The Las Vegas Grand Prix was supposed to be another race to chalk up experience, another step forward for Riley Leclerc in her Williams car (standing in for Alex Albon). But under the flashing lights of the Strip, chaos erupted in a split second.
Esteban Ocon had mistimed a move into Turn 3, clipping Riley’s rear wheel. The impact sent her spinning, helplessly colliding with Lando Norris, whose car smashed into hers like a missile. The radio went silent. Riley’s car was a crumpled mess in the middle of the track.
“Riley, are you okay? Riley, can you hear me?” her race engineer’s voice cracked through the radio. No response.
───────────────────────
When the helicopter lifted off, carrying Riley to the University Medical Center in Vegas, Arthur Leclerc sat on the tarmac, knees drawn to his chest, hands trembling. His older sister was somewhere up there, fighting, and he couldn’t do anything to help. His heart ached with an unrelenting weight.
“Come on, Ri,” he whispered, his voice cracking. “You’re stronger than this. We got this, okay? Breathe. Just breathe.” He stared at the sky, as if his words could reach her through sheer force of will.
───────────────────────
The paddock had erupted into chaos. Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, George Russell, Logan Sargeant, and Lewis Hamilton stormed into the Alpine garage where Esteban sat, guilt etched across his face.
“What the hell were you thinking?” Charles roared, shoving past George to get face-to-face with Esteban. “You could’ve killed her!”
“Charles,” Lewis placed a hand on his shoulder, trying to calm him down, though his own eyes burned with anger. “This isn’t how we handle it.”
“No, he needs to hear this!” Charles snapped, voice trembling. “That’s my sister out there! My twin!”
Logan’s voice cut through the shouting. “And Lando’s hurt too! You made a reckless move that put two people in the hospital!”
Esteban sat silently, shame consuming him, as Max shook his head and muttered, “Unbelievable.”
───────────────────────
At the hospital, Lando sat in a wheelchair, his arm in a sling, his leg wrapped in a brace. Despite his injuries, his focus was entirely on Riley.
“She’s going to be okay,” Lando said, more to himself than anyone else. “She has to be.”
Arthur paced the waiting room, muttering under his breath. “You’re not allowed to leave me, Ri. You hear me? You don’t get to do this.” He pressed his hands against his forehead, as if he could push away the fear clawing at his chest.
The entire F1 grid had gathered, their camaraderie evident even in the face of tragedy. Max leaned against a wall, arms crossed, his face filled with worry as he grew up with Riley and Charles, while Checo placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. Charles sat with Alexandra, her hand gripping his as tightly as she could and trying not to cry for her “sister”. George and Lewis were deep in conversation with the doctors, while Logan and Alex Albon passed water bottles around. Even Fernando Alonso, usually distant, looked visibly shaken.
When the doctor finally emerged, the room fell silent. Everyone standing.
“She’s stable,” the doctor announced. “The surgery went well. She’ll be okay, but it’ll be a long recovery.”
The collective sigh of relief was palpable.
───────────────────────
When Riley finally opened her eyes, the harsh white light of the hospital room stung, but the sight of Arthur sitting beside her made her heart ache in a different way. His head was resting on the edge of her bed, his hand gripping hers tightly.
“You’re really annoying, you know that?” Riley croaked, her voice weak but teasing.
Arthur’s head shot up, his red-rimmed eyes widening. “You’re awake.”
“No kidding.”
Tears spilled over as Arthur let out a shaky laugh. “Don’t ever scare me like that again.”
“I’ll try petit frère,” she whispered, squeezing his hand.
As the rest of the drivers filtered in, the room became a patchwork of laughter and relief. Lando, hobbling in with the help of Oscar, grinned through his pain. “Next time, Riley, maybe let me know before you try to kill me on track.”
Riley chuckled weakly. “Noted.”
Lewis leaned over, brushing her hair away from her face. “You gave us all a heart attack, kid.”
“Just keeping things interesting,” she replied, earning a collective groan from the room.
Charles sat on her other side, his hand never leaving hers. “You’re never driving again,” he muttered, though his voice was thick with emotion.
“Not happening,” she retorted.
Arthur laughed. “She’s back.”
And in that moment, surrounded by her twin, her team, and the entire F1 family, Riley felt the weight of their love. It didn’t matter how broken she was; together, they would piece her back together again.

What's better than a good spa session after a tough race? Oscar loves that. Feeling the warm water against him, relaxing all his muscles and clearing his head. He really needed it after the difficult race in Singapore. His head falls back against the edge of the basin, gasping and closing his eyes with pleasure.
In her pink bikini, she joins him without warning him. He doesn't open his eyes, already knowing that's her. She sits next to him, putting her legs over his. His hands found their way on her thighs, rubbing it with his fingerstip. She wrapped her arm around his neck, whispering something in his ear, ''You did a great job today.'' She doesn't have the time to see him with all the interviews and the post race conference he had. She kisses his red cheek and adds, ''Just like always.'' This time, it's him who kisses her, on her sweet lips.
She add little movement with her lips, followed by him. His left hand slips on her waist and pulls her over his lap. She follows his movement, straddling him. He intensifies the kiss by running his tongue over her lips and she parts her lips, giving him better access to her mouth. They tongue dance together, exploring the inside of each other's cheeks. She rubs herself, over his swimsuit against his semi-hard cock.
She massages his shoulder, her long nails digging softly in his skin. ''Slide in.'' She moaned into the kiss, wanting more. Oscar has never been the possessive type, to show everyone that she belongs to him. And making love in a public place doesn't turn him on compared to her. He's afraid of being surprised even though she would love it. But he loves her. And he would do anything for her. So if he doesn't finish but she does, it makes him happy.
Her hand found its way between his legs, kneading his hard cock over his swimsuit. He moaned against her ear as she slipped it out. She doesn't wait any longer to impale herself on him, the water helping to lubricate everything.
Oscar, who wanted to clear his head and no longer think about anything, it's a failure. Well.. not in a bad way, ''Fuck, you're so tight.'' She chuckled as she was about to move, Oscar stuck his lips to hers. She didn't have the time to move, they heard a 'clic' and when they turned their heads, they saw Lando, taking a picture of them. ''So cute.''
Oscar just freezes, fixing Lando. He doesn't know what to do, but Lando seems to have seen nothing. She quickly pulls out of him while Lando has his head down on his phone. She still remains on his lap so it's not appear suspicious. ''You join us?'' He puts his phone across, near their towel, ''If it doesn't bother you two.'' He entered the water and sat across them. Y/n leave Oscar's lap, leaving her hand on his thigh. She plays with his little hairs with her fingertip. ''You ok mate?'' Oscar, who still didn't say anything yet, still too shocked by what just happened. Lando really just took a picture of the two of them without knowing they were doing something else? He slowly turns his head away from Lando, unable to make an eyes contact with him. ''Uhm? yeah yeah yeah. Just thinking.'' His Aussie accent makes him less credible.
''If you're too hot, you shouldn't stay.'' Lando notices his cheeks all red with embarrassment. Y/n chuckles, she loves to see her Oscar embarrassed. He's always so awkward and he never knows what to say or to do. ''Huh? What?'' Oscar, who was looking at the landscape, turns his head back towards Lando. ''I said: If you're too hot, you shouldn't stay.'' Oscar can't get Y/n away from his mind and now that Lando is here, he sees her when he looks at him.
''Na I'm ok.'' Oscar doesn't want to get away. Because he knows how hard he is and he also knows that Lando will see it if he gets up. And of course, Y/n notice it. Well, she also feels it so, it's obvious that she knows how he feels. Plus her little bikini doesn't hide her skin a lot. She knows Lando will never look at her the same way Oscar looks at her. And she purposely wore her little pink bikini (Oscar's favorite) to make him react.
And today, she feels playful, ''Oscar, baby, can you pass me my phone, please?'' Oh no. That's bad for Oscar. His name plus the pet name plus the way she turns towards him, her tits moving along her body, it was too much for Oscar. His gaze quickly goes down her breasts and goes back to her eyes. Oscar closed his eyes and sigh. He really doesn't want to get up, ''Of course, darling.'' Oscar saw her little game. And he gets into it. Y/n blushes. Oscar is not the type to give her pet names and especially in front of her brother.
He gets up, quickly, hoping that Lando doesn't look at him. He grabs her phone and passes it to her. He goes back in the water, his thigh against Y/n's one. Lando looks at his sister, then looks at Oscar, then back at his sister. ''What are you both up to?'' Lando narrows his eyes and stares at them both, Oscar and Y/n smiling like nothing happened. Oscar's hand found its way to her thigh, squeezing it softly. ''Just enjoying each other.'' Y/n caught loudly, looking at her phone to avoid the face of the men.
''You send me the pic?'' She quickly looked up at Lando, who looked at her with a gaze as if to say 'what the fuck'. She ignores his gaze, ''Laaaan'? You're gonna answer me?'' Lando rolled his eyes back, disappointed not to have an answer to his question. ''Yeah I send you it on insta.''
She continues to stay on her phone, while Lando is now trying to get information from Oscar. He stares at him, his eyes narrowed and he scans his facial expression. Oscar, who asked nothing, suddenly feels like he's naked in front of him. Instinctively, he discreetly hides his crotch with his hands, afraid that Lando will see his bump. But being clumsy as he is, his cheeks turn even redder and he continues to look at the landscape nervously. Lando laughs as he gets up, ''Caught. Again.''
Y/n looks up from her phone, one eyebrow up, ''What do you mean.'' Lando dries himself with a towel, ''You should teach Oscar how to be discreet.'' Oscar wants to disappear right now. Lando always manages to make him uncomfortable, and his sister too as well.
Lando's gaze meets Y/n's and they burst out laughing. ''I'm sorry but, this is so funny!'' Lando's shrill laughter breaks Oscar's ears and he lets himself slide into the water until he almost hides his red head. ''Aww, baby! We're joking.'' She puts her hands on his cheeks and squeezes it. Oscar is about to cry because he feels so embarrassed. But he keeps his cool and ignores their laugh.
''Fuck you both.'' Y/n and Lando laughed even more, her hand rubbing his shoulder gently.
''You're too touchy Ozzy.''
