Running some AK numbers and Chiave+Robots is actually amazingly well done rotation wise, especially with his module. 80% reduction brings robots down from 200s->40s, with their strong deployment effects... i read once that slotting Chiave+Robots is essentially giving him more skills and that's never been more true

Redeploy/Skill Uptime List

Lancet: 40s

Thermal: 40s/3s deploy/8s debuff

Chiave: 45s Blazing Wire Stripper

Friston: 40s/10s buff

Justice/Castle: 40s/20s buff

The biggest issue is that Friston, Justice, and Castle will desync if you let them play out their whole duration, and Thermal needs to be Potential 2/3 for his Fragile to make up for not sticking around to buff Chiave (18/21% fragile vs 15/18% robot out).

Basically, ideal rotation seems to be to dump all robots when BWS is at 40s charge, let 'er rip, and retreat them all immediately after the explosion.

But also Friston has pretty bad uptime and tbh numbers as a skill, Castle and Justice are fairly average... Lancet and Thermal are burst skills.

Chiave S1 has 38/35s rotation and is automatic... but the robots are cheap enough that you don't actually need this dp infusion before you deploy them and especially not on a second round...

It makes me wanna mess around with the team way more and I'm gonna go do that

Today's 123 rhodes island translation! (no. 56)This time it's Lancet-2 totally the best operator in the best archetype! (healing support main talking)

A simple one today translation-wise, the first sentence lancet-2 says is kinda wonky but it's probably more due to my lack of writing experience than anything.

On the more interesting choices, the big ones are the small inserts on panel 2 on both comics where it says troublesome og is 麻烦了 which is correct, it's just I think "how troublesome" is more accurate but I kinda didn't want a big white block in the middle of the panel Sorry barely typesetting these

Other than that the biggest change is when she announces Lancet alter water cannon type, as the original is more "Okay! Lancet-2 water cannon type prototype!" but there's no way she wouldn't hype it up, it's just my CS major intuition.

also, the SFX that goes "CLANK" doesn't really have a clear TL I just found out by looking at bili bili videos that had it in its name

since today is a little simple, I'm actually gonna talk about Chinese customs. so if you read it in Chinese Lancet calls closure "姐姐" which means older sister, however, it's just a polite custom to put family labels on people, so in ENG it'll be more akin to Mrs. Like I'm AMAB(assigned male at birth) (I now identify as enby) so I was called 哥哥 which means older brother.

but that's why in alot of Chinese media you hear kids call older women 阿姨 which means aunt but more like "woman who is not related to you but around the same age as your mom". There are a lot of family titles in Chinese, mostly on the dad's side

Fucking Fuze of all people being in Arknights is giving me immense whiplash, he's gonna elbow drop Amiya or something.

Alternatively, and the best ending possible, since he is a dedicated tinkerer more comfortable with machines than he is with people, I want Fuze to become besties with Eunectes, Blemishine, and Lancet-2 and sort of chill while making funny robots with them in Engineering.

Some time ago I saw a post about Team niches and one example was about Warrior cats. After extensive research (cheking the AK and WC wiki for names), I present thee, the (my) Ultimate Arknights Warrior Cats Names Tierlist!!

Now, I don't know how many people actually know about WC but what you need to know for this tierlist is that in Warrior Cats, cats belong to Clans and have a name that changes from Kit to Aprentice to Warrior, and sometimes to Leader. Though, there are other kind of cats with different name conventions (I'll explain it when it appears).

The regular naming convention is [main name/relevant trait/desciptor] + [another part]. For example: Firekit, Firepaw, Fireheart and Firestar.

FLAMETAIL MY BELOVED: this is the Flametail rank, absolute perfection, follows the naming convention AND is an official Warriors name, what else could you ask for?

WARRIOR CAT CERTIFIED: Official Warriors name, it's just that the naming convention is not perfect... but it's official so what can I do...

A NAME IN WARRIOR CATS (BUT NOT A WARRIOR NAME): Midnight is a female (friendly) badger, Breeze is a Tribe name (other kind of cat group with different naming convention, her full name would be "Breeze that rustles the leaves"), Haze is a cat from the group.

WARRIOR CAT APPROVED: names that could be real Warriors names... some more than other... Cliffheart, Frostleaf, Mudrock and GreyThroat are good examples. Blue Poisen, Flamebringer, Rock rock are... not so good.

HALF A REAL WARRIORS NAME: they got hall right! If only they had a second part. I put Schwarz here because it's Black in german but I didn't put La Pluma before but... if cats can understand german, they can understand spanish.

COULD BE BUT NOT IN SPIRIT: names that could be but they either don't follow the naming conventions or the names wouldn't be real.

COULD BE A NAME, JUST NOT A WARRIORS NAME: names that wouldn't be so odd if a random (Non-clan cat) had it but it's NOT official (yet). Most as lone cats, but Mountain specially as a Tribe cat (it's really odd that it isn't already a Mountain in WC).

KITTYPET: pet/house cat names.

THAT'S JUST A NAME: honestly, here is most people. Some could be placed on other tiers, specially cases like Siege, Conviction or Penance that could go to "Does a cat even know what is this???" But I don't know, they aren't funny enough to be there and maybe cats do know how to Siege?

TWOLEGS NAME: human names. Imagine a fight like "You can't defeat me Fireclaw!" "Yes I can, Jessica!"

DOES A CAT EVEN KNOW WHAT IS THIS???: Lancet-2, the - included! 12F, that's not even a name! Beagle. A courier... for cats... because cats have mail... Meteor(ite), because they call cats "monsters" and of course would know that a falling rock from outer space is a Meteor(ite)! Dobbermann. Rope, because cats need them! Gummy, Croissant, Pudding and Tequila, because they know and it them regularly! Texas, because they know geography! Ptilopsis and Glaucus, honestly, I can expect cats to know german and spanish, but Latin??! W. Manticore, of course, mythology! FEater. Bison and Carnelian, at least they are not dogs but still, they are cats. Mr. Nothing, Gnosis, Erato, Minimalist, Cantabile, because they know human/science/art concepts! Specter, Phantom and Elyssium could be, they have a Heaven and hell concpet with literal ghost cats but, this erminology especifically... Yeah... and Asbestos and Cement........ Eyjafjalla. (Sorry Plat and Company but it started to get too long)

???: Lou Xiaohei and the Terra Research Commission... I mean... they are technically warriors... and cats... therefore Warrior Cats... technically... should I move them to the "Could be but not in spirit"?????

In the middle of the nuclear winter that was Harold’s boss fight, two people and a robot, all in coquette hazmat suits, walked through the snow and ice.

Harold squinted at one of the hazmatted people. “You don’t look like you’re from here,” he said.

“Don’t be xenophobic!” Eyjafjalla said. “Lingyang fits right in. Even better than those people from ‘Earth’.”

Yeah, it was Lingyang from Wuthering Waves. He had come to a universe where his looksmaxxing and bonesmashing prowess would be better appreciated. If he had been born in the Arknights universe, he would never even have had to humanmaxx, so it was an ironic twist of fate.

“You see, after Sesa irradiated half the landship by fucking a toaster, Closure pivoted into the medical department. She’s by now moved on from removing people’s extra limbs and eyeballs to aesthetic services, hence the new and upgraded Lancet, aka Looksmaxxing-2,” Eyjafjalla explained, presenting the coquettely hazmatted (is that even a word?) robot, now equipped with a photo of Adriana Lima taped onto where she should have a face.

Looksmaxxing-2 scanned Harold up and down with her cameras. “You have been mogged. Diagnosis: Negative canthal tilt, prey eyes, dark circles, receding hairline, asymmetrical face, short legs. Recommendations: Eye lift, cheek filler, undereye filler, lip filler, hair transplant, rhinoplasty, buccal fat removal, Botox, Ozempic—“

“Wait, wait, wait, what does this have to do with me?” Harold asked, trying to not seem offended. He thought he was pretty DILFy, but apparently not according to this robot. “Why are you here?”

“Logos just announced he’s entering the duffel bag, so I need a new job. I’ve decided to become a medic.” Eyjafjalla said gently, walking closer to Harold.

“Oh, I could give you some advice—“

Eyjafjalla melted his face off. As he collapsed to the ground unconscious and on fire, she took out from her pocket a photocard of Wonyoung from IVE but it was that fan edit of her giving the middle finger. I’ll insert a picture so you can imagine the right thing.

“The power of our Lord and Savior Jang Wonyoung compels you to give your power to me,” Eyjafjalla chanted, holding the cursed artifact over Harold’s body. A stream of glowing energy transferred between them as the nuclear energy of Harold’s AOE Arts nukes became Hvit Aska’s 5x global heals.

The newly created Hvit Aska, Lingyang, and Looksmaxxing-2 went on their merry way. At least Lingyang had the mercy to throw snow over Hank’s body to put out the flames.
