"Lampago"

The personal mobility vehicle’s name is inspired by the Spanish word for lightning. Lampago gets an average 30Ah Li-ion battery with a capacity of 1.8 kWh churning out just 60V power. The total range on a single charge is also average at around 25-45 miles depending on driving habits. 

The two-seater city commuter is the work of the Turkish dese-ign trio – Yavuz Cinkaya, Osman Colcak, and Selen Sarkaya.

Anarchs are like "lol there's this totally feral, soon-to-be-Wighted fledgling at the old power plant who thinks she's SO TOUGH." she wants them to get out of her territory and they just laugh in her face and tell her to get out of theirs.

and then she creeps them the fuck out because they ganged up on her and beat the shit out of her and she just kept telling them "no."

then one day one of them is lagging behind and just fucking vanishes. the Prince says the fledgling destroyed them, using this as a big fake excuse to pretend to extend concern to the Anarchs while leaning on Lettow hard. also pretending publicly -- so long as Lettow cooperates -- that it can't possibly be that this big tough Brujah Anarch was taken down by a baby.

Anarchs go back to the plant to destroy this little fuck but some of Lettow's contacts have been watching the place since the Brujah died so they get more than they bargain for

(Elisa's in the distance coming back to the plant when she sees that particular altercation and is like "oh fuck THAT". She ends up confronting a straggling Anarch and I think -- I think she diablerises them. At this point she doesn't even know it's wrong.)

So like. Elisa figured out pretty early yeah I'm a fucking vampire despite being (apparently) abandoned and also figured out that she shouldn't tell anyone.

She also didn't seek out other vampires. To the contrary, if one ever showed up she either avoided them or basically tried to get them to fuck off, whether it was by physically fighting them or scaring the shit out of them.

which is interesting bc when she was alive she wasn't a violent or confrontational person at all. very sweet natured. but she was in a bit of a dissociative fugue after her Embrace and in the cloudy confusion that was happening in her brain after she died her "fight" instincts kicked in. she made a burrow somewhere in an abandoned industrial property and fought to defend it from Anarchs that encroached on it. she'd never been in a fight in her life. in her death what she lacked in fighting skill she made up for in ferocity.

she destroyed a neonate Brujah in her First Season. Lettow was very proud of her for that, even though it got him in trouble with the local Prince.

Btw turns out the term for when I draw Haven as a wingless sphinx? is a lampago it's like the uncool lesser known cousin of sphinxes and manticores because it doesn't have the wings OR the stinger tail/sharp teeth, it's just....a human head/face on the body of a big cat which is actually less intimidating than just a regular big cat because now it just has the claws instead of the claws AND teeth without some additional cool thing to compensate so I can see why it didn't take off like the other two

I think after the Possessed Armor incident their are 3 other demons that Trainer takes care of before they end up crossing paths with Hellsing agents and invited too meet Sir Integra.

1st is a Lampago that draws people in too abandoned warehouse were they set up arenas. All under the premise of the chance that the people could win big at an underground boxing tournament. The chimera monster ends up trapping the unfortunate soul in the area were they are then killed. Trainer hears about this from some locals and decides too hunt down this monster which leads too Trainer tricking the monster into a match with their Hitmonchan who easily defeats the Lampago and may or not have sent the monster through the roof of the building

2nd A group of Merman who have going after Coastal towns and have been scaring of the fish and other sea life. This ends quite simply when Trainer has Inteleon, Gengar, and Grimmsnarl pose as fisherman on the docks with Toxtricity and Muk as backup just in case. The Merman all take the bait and all jump out and try too attack only too all be caught in a Electro Web set up by Joltik. As Trainer suspected the Merman would get greedy and were unprepared for a trap. The Merman are dealt with along with a note saying the people can fish without worry

Finally is when Trainer is chasing after a huge Dullahan on an equally huge undead horse that has been terrorizing the country side. Trainer chases after the Dullahan with Pidgeot and Charizard cutting off escape routes so the Dullahan runs right into Abomasnow who freezes the Dullahan and undead horse with Ice Beam.

That is when the y cross paths with the Van Hellsing forces who actually too both Trainer's and the Pokémon surprise extend an invitation too see their Leader Sir Intergra

Also Sir Integra finds out about Trainer after the Lampago

I just imagine some Helling agents stumbling upon the unconscious Lampago after Hitmonchan sent them flying. The human faced lion wakes up and pleads to keep the kid with that "monster boxer" away from him. Alucard obviously dispatches the Lampago but he finds Trainer spooking other monsters hilarious.

When I read Dullahan, my brain came up with the thought of Calyrex Shadow Rider helping in that case. A race on horseback which the Legendary obviously wins but the deathly knight still won't back down. Trainer had Abomasnow out just in case whatever chivalry the knight once had in their living days was no longer present.

Some members feeling quite overwhelmed at the sight of the Pokemon under the youth's command. The group's leader smacks some sense into them before handing Trainer the letter. It is going be an interesting meeting with Integra.

Went back and played nightroad between other responsibilities and it’s always interesting to see some subtle edits made between updates. It’s definitely been over a year since I last read it so ofc I’m sure my memory is fuzzy kinda but there were some small alterations made to a couple things that made me go ‘huh interesting.’ Like I’m pretty sure the malkavian at pattermuster’s morgue believed he was Christ reincarnated last time I read, whereas now it was something like ‘he had met Christ’ or been blessed by him or smth. I played the mobile version so no code diving but I’m curious to see if there’s maybe a note about these minuscule edits somewhere in it. I don’t remember seeing pattermuster or olivecrona’s people at the final scene either.

Anyway Iris/Lettow forever, they’re off in their plane going east and who knows what’s gonna happen. It’s kind of bittersweet with the whole beckoning thing but imo these two seem like they’re probably going to end up blood bonded at some point so I’m not entirely sure anyone cares lmfao. Julian was #disappointed I guess that he got blown off that badly by his ex but Iris is still very staunchly ‘you lied? So much? What did you expect’ about it which is Fair. I think half of his beef was probably just emotional hdjdjd I don’t think he necessarily still has feelings, but it was more of a blow to the ego that she wasn’t just going along with his plans again. She’s Tired okay.

Relationship with the sire was way better here. Pattermuster is on good terms with his childe these days, which was a nice change. St Basil’s stays an abattoir purely thanks to that relationship, which maybe isn’t Iris’ best moment but she’s also just trying to get out of these situations with minimal disturbance. Caul got away and so did the Lampago, but only after some nasty fighting. Ngl that’s probably also another reason she was down to get on that plane, she doesn’t need those headaches in the future. Beckoned or not, being around Lettow offers more protection.

this was definitely the worst relationship I’ve had with Julian lmao. I’ve never played fully through the game with Iris as a Brujah so there might have been some differences in flavour text? On the plus side the camarilla Loved me so real estate was cheap as fuck. No ghoul this time bc I’m also still operating under this being a double courier au & Romina ends up with Raul. Failed the Reremouse mission too, didn’t have enough vitae for disciplines annnd i got the achievement for messy crits 🙃 like I didn’t frenzy but I did fly pretty close to the sun a few times lmao. You Can definitely get though this one with a physical focus for your stats, but having nothing in awareness made some spots trickier. I ended up picking options at the start that were like. I think drive/mechanic stuff so it was an even split between intelligence, drive, and dexterity. We Managed. Romina will probably have a more survival/charisma based build bc she’s not really djjfjf she’s not booksmart like that yk. She’s not the Car Girl TM.

Donati went down so easily tho, like I had maxed out combat skills and just. Sliced her down the middle and that was that hdjfkf like I don’t think that fight has ever been so smooth ever? Wild.

The lampago is a heraldic creature that has the head of a human and the body of a lion or tiger. The most prominent usage of the lampago in heraldry is on the coat of arms of the Radford family of Radford, Devon.

i absolutely hate trying to research about mythological creatures. I love learning about new lore and new beasties, and what role they played in culture.

but cheesus crepes, all the information on these ‘spECiAlIZEd’ sites is all the copy pasted junk from another site. I wanna read something new about the creature, maybe a fictional tale about some hero or victim, a fanatical story or glamorized true account. Not the same rubbish “it grew to be the size of an elephant, had sharp spines,and was sad most the time.”

Lampago – A heraldic creature, either lion or tiger with the head of a man. I chose a lion since there are no evident stripes in heraldic examples, He is bald in the crest so I gave him a crown to cover it up!

I imagien Trainer makes their full arrival in the Hellsing world a bit later and decide too start exploring the city and what it has too offer. While also being careful as Alucard did warn them that their a certain things that go bump in the night ( I imagine their a lot more creatures too worry about beside vampires)

Anyway it was getting late and Trainer decided that it would be a good time too camp.

Here is when the Alucard and Trainer's paths cross again as a monster ( I am not sure what other creatures roam the Hellsing world beside vampires and reanimated ghouls) decides too try and attack the youth. Of course Trainer's Pokemon who were standing watch ( Sceptile and Krookodile) go too intercept before the Monster is swiftly destroyed by Alucard who was on a mission nearby.

A encounter that both are delightfully surprised by

Zombies, Hellhounds, Lampago(lion with a human head), demons, there are plenty of ghouls, cryptids and monsters to pick. I believe the older Hellsing iteration did something like that.

Trainer definitely takes Alucard's warning seriously and makes sure to have a Pokemon or two whenever outdoors at night. I can see both of them bumping into each when the latter is on a mission. Trainer would also lend a hand if need be so they can have a friendly chat.

Lampago

Sometimes called Tigertaurs, these creatures actually evolved from an entirely separate evolutionary path than Camelopardis or Centaur. Believed to have evolved from a shared ancestor with Winged Sphinxes, instead of growing wings, Lampago developed a greater upper body and fully-functioning arms, becoming more humanlike with the years in order to more reliably stay safe. While they are most common in India they are occasionally seen in Russia, and their colouration and formation, both of their tiger lower quarters and their human upper bodies, vary considerably to match the variation found in humans across these ranges. In Russia they also more readily will talk to wixes, usually with a Leshy present, while Lampago of the Indian subcontinent much prefer the company of Orang Bunian and Yaksha and Yakshinis, and so stay much farther out of the way of people, for the most part. 

Lampago are graceful creatures, swift hunters using their strong legs and sharp claws to climb and to kill, and their hands to prepare and dry meat for longer-term storage. Some also make jewellery and cloth, but usually only when in a stable enough state to do so; many Lampago which make such frivolous items do so as an indication that they are secure enough in their territory to have offspring, with Lampago wooing a prospective mate with items they have crafted. While male-female unions are more common amongst Lampago, same-sex relationships are not unheard of; many such end up adopting abandoned “runt” Lampagos, orphaned Lampagos, or even the offspring of other species which have become lost or were abandoned or orphaned. In other case, a pair of female Lampago struck a deal with a male passing through their territory - he would give them offspring and they would allow him safe and unhindered passage through their territory and the right to hunt in their territory for as long as their children lived.

Generally, however, Lampago prefer to keep to themselves, and even those they consider friends will see them but rarely.
