The story of @sarinotsorry and @stephaniesinsta began without them knowing it—their dogs met before they did.

But one spring evening in New York, the two finally connected.

Sari was, at the time, figuratively just looking for someone to share good wine and long meals with. As the universe would play it, this happened to be Stephanie’s specialty. 🍷

“So many parts of our story fell into place and felt like they were meant to be,” Sari said. So much so that when the two married, they curated all of those parts into one very special day.

They tied the knot on site at one of their favorite restaurants, @LaMercerie. Their dog Bernardo was the ring barer. And the couple gave matchbooks to their guests— custom illustrated with Stephanie, Sari and Bernardo all sharing a bowl of spaghetti.🍝

“Everyone sharing a meal,” Sari said. “Something we do often.”

The couple recently celebrated their first anniversary so Stephanie surprised Sari with the traditional gift of paper. But not just any paper for this stylish duo—HEIRLOOMIST PAPER.

We worked with Stephanie to make this photograph of her vows and the matchbox as a surprise. NYC frame shop legend @chelseaframes put the finishing touches on the gift and on the day of their anniversary, Stephanie took Sari back to the very spot where they married so that she and Bernardo could present Sari with her art. 🥹

Happy anniversary, you two!! We’ll be here waiting for Bernardo to get his Instagram account up and running. 🐾
