He also said that I had always been feeling uncomfortable in my mind about giving advice to others and not acting upon it myself. He expressed that You have to fight to reach your dream. Lal Bahadur Shastri served as the second Prime Minister of India from 1964 to 1966. He passed away on January 11, 1966 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (then Soviet Union), a day after signing a peace treaty with Pakistan to end the 1965 Indo-Pakistan war.
