Hey I know already about like two people have mentioned this already, but Curly's name could possibly be a reference to Laika, the soviet space dog and first living animal sent into orbit, who ended up tragically dying in space due to Overheating

Her other name was Kudryavka (Кудрявка), roughly meaning "Curly" or, more specifically, "Little Curly"

thinking about Izzy's mood swings and realised that this was most likely the first time that he's been allowed to process his feelings at his own pace aboard a ship.

think about it, under blackbeard he HAD to constantly be on his guard, he didn't have time to process feelings because they were constantly moving on to the next thing but now, with Stede, the crew lets him do what HE wants. spent most of his time drunk and cursing out a headless unicorn? fine by us. wanting to wallow in your own sorrow and self hatred?? knock yourself out, just do it in one of the rooms where you can't harm yourself. the crew even respects his need to be alone, thus them leaving him his new leg by the door and not sticking around to see his reaction.

no one (so far in season 2) is forcing ANYTHING of Izzy, and i think that's why Izzy has been having a better time on the ship and actually bonding with his crewmates and captain. don't mind me or the seas of tears that are coming from my eyes ;^;

just came to the startling realization how similar leola and agatha's ends/deaths were

both were young, scared girls who were put on an unfair trial without any understanding for what they've done (agatha practicing her magic and leola sharing hers)

they were separated from their parents (agatha was with her mom and leola was outside of her and her father's home)

they were both KILLED in a horrific way and vengeance was sought out after their deaths. (agatha got her own revenge while aaravos currently commits crimes to avenge his daughter)

all im saying is that i never expected a cartoon from netflix to have a similar storyline to a movie from laika studios but hey im not complaining.
