i really really REALLY love the ladystuck tarot but i gotta say... why does every card have the same girls on it?

i swear every card was either rose, jade, terezi, or kanaya. i mean, not even Vriska got cards which is sayin something.

if perhaps people online are going into homestuck discord servers and onto the “twitter” to talk shit about the ~types of fans~ who did ladystuck tarot and etc you should at LEAST fucking fact check first. like. the blog is right there.

this is literal years old drama over the dumbest, just god damn stupidest thing imaginable but: the people running the project gave the card “the lovers” to rose and kanaya because they are married and dirk and jake were like, not even dating, so it seemed a silly choice to have them on the card in the act 6 tarot. vrisrezi was never in this equation at all. like. i keep hearing accounts of this that are just straight up made up. the argument was originally that there were not enough female characters (there weren’t, and they even made an attempt to further rectify this in the minor arcana so good on them) and that rose and kanaya should have very much been “the lovers” card more so than dirkjake which i think is like. fucking reasonable, if that’s a hill someone wanted to die on

again all of this is readily available online if anyone is looking since the ladystuck tarot project did in fact get completed and it looks fucking good. those silly sjw fans on tumblr aren’t as shitty as you say after all. seems like certain parts of the homestuck fandom give you brain rot AND selective memory huh

I’m so used to my Nonni’s Voyager Tarot deck that seeing the typical cards is like .. just disappointing.. I’m so used to beautiful surreal collage art instead of plain ass graphic art .. what is that, that doesn’t give me arcane tarot-y feelings .. ugly ..
