Lady’s Mantle is one of my favorite non-baneful herbs! It’s beautiful little leaves are intricately folded up like origami paper and unfurl into these beautiful cloak-like leaves. It’s matin name means “little alchemist” because of the dew that collects in its leaves at night. This was believed to be the liquified light of the moon and would be collected by alchemists for their preparations because of its transmutational properties. Lady’s mantle is a patron of herbalists and plant alchemists. As a teacher it can help unlock the secrets of nature and the hidden uses of plants.
