Here is my remix of "Disease" by Lady Gaga.

The intro is a quote from the film, The Love Witch (2016).

As always, all of the glitches were lovingly carved by hand. No AI or stuttering programs were used. Just me and My Sony Acid workstation. Lots of trial and error to get the right feeling.

Detoxing from love addiction can make you feel unhinged. I wanted to try to capture that as much as possible with some of the sound choices I made.

Been thinking about that one post about if Daft Punk were jaeger pilots in the Pacific Rim universe, and it's got me thinking about who Jere's co-pilot would be.

im not here to discuss who did what first bc i dont care. ive been telling myself that mariah carey invented the remix and that's not actually true if you look into it. but she did it so good in the 90's that i just credit her. so maybe it doesn't matter who did what first, it matters who did it better.

context: my bf adores giacomo so we have a crack au about all the teams being nightclubs that giacomo visits to guest dj. club galactic has industrial atmosphere with heavy use of lights. it's very popualr with young, queer club kids. cyrus is the owner and dj of club galactic. saturn, jupiter, and mars are his biggest fans who always dance at the front and bring their dj water bottles and towels for after the show.
