it’s just. in the end it’s about family. it's about Camila pulling Eda into a hug because she took care of her baby. it’s about Hunter thinking he has no one looking for him only to find Darius over his shoulder. it’s about King’s dad telling Luz to tell King he loafs him. (it’s about Caleb falling in love with Evelyn, Philip betraying him for it.) it’s about Gus and Amity and Willow finding their dads. Vee graduating alongside Luz. The Collector being a lonely kid who was abandoned. 

Luz having her quinceañera on the Boiling Isles with everyone she loves around her. This show is about family.

Today one year ago one of my favorite shows aired their finale! This show got me to draw fanart again and made me fall in love with so many characters! Happy anniversary to The Owl House!!!

Looks like the portal in led them to where Eda found the portal door. If so, this further supports the popular theory that Evelyn was a Clawthorne ancestor.

so going back to the possessed hunter scene

i just find this scene so hilarious because most of the squad are trying to take belos down without hurting hunter

gus is using illusion magic to confuse and distract him

willow is only going on defense or trying to hold him down

vee is using magic absorption to free hunter

luz is trying the "i know you're in there" tactic or the power of friendship (ironically considering how they dunked on it so many times in the show lmao)

and then there's amity who just fucking launches a purple nuke at him

There needs to be more PG13 cartoons

for the longest time I've said that there needs to be a cartoon channel that produces cartoons aimed at teenagers, and no not adult swim. I'm not talking about family guy and south park I mean cartoons like the owl house and gravity falls that are aimed at teens instead of little kids. Because if the show was rated PG13 imagine how much better it would be? It's obvious that belos is a puritan or possibly a quaker, but Disney would never allow him to come right out and say, "I'm doing this in the name of our lord" like an actual christian would. They would also be able to say 'kill' instead of 'made them disappear'. But unlike with most adult cartoons there wouldn't be tons and tons of extremely graphic violence, blood and sex. I mean just imagine if Luz actually did say "talk to the glyph bitch" when fighting Lilith. I would pay money to watch a PG13 gravity falls, oh my god Stan would cuss like a sailor and it would be great.

Sentient Amity, but make it ✨Creature✨

There's a lot of sentient city! Gotham in this phandom, but very rarely (so far only once) do I see Amity getting the same treatment.

Sooooo, I think most would agree that the Fentons' continuous attempt, and eventual success, at punching a whole through reality leaked an awful amount of ectoplasm into the surrounding city. And quite some people also agree that it'll make Amity an extremely liminal space.

But what if it straight up give the city life?

I'm thinking little Amity got the final push it needed to properly manifest after the city's short trip to the ghost zone, because technically the whole city died? Since dead things goes to the ghost zone and, well. That is where the city is now.

So Amity died, and gets a proper ghosts. And it's not the gradual build up that spans a few centuries like Gotham has. No, Amity gets a very rapid awakening that took only a little bit over a decade, which means it is really really young.

Now, what would the ghost of Amity look like then?

BISEXUAL REP IN TOH

One thing I really appreciate about this show is the bisexual representation. It shows us how bisexuality can appear differently depending on the relationships.

The three canonically bi characters are Luz, Hunter, and Eda.

Luz is dating Amity, so her relationship is lesbian passing

Hunter is dating Willow, so his relationship is straight passing

Eda is dating Raine, who is enby, so the relationship could be considered either lesbian or straight passing or neither

Despite the fact that these relationships look so different, it doesn’t change the fact that Luz, Hunter, and Eda are bi. Bisexuality is not a one sized fits all, and as a bi person, I’ve never been so satisfied with this kind of bisexual representation before.
